The Red Keep, King's Landing

"Because if that was yer best joke, I'm not fuckin' laughin'," The Stark burst out.

"But, I am." Darrin whispered to Filicity as he stood beside her. "Shouldn't you go help your friend?" Filicity asked him, a smile still upon her face. Darrin laughed. "He can handle himself this time."

Suddenly, a young woman appeared next to Filicity.

"Thank you. I love your dress." Filicity complimented her, as she had her. "And, no- Adair is perfectly capable of handling this situation himself. No need to worry." Filicity couldn't help but laugh slightly. She gave the girl a proper look and noticed her blonde locks. "Celena Lannister?" Filicity guessed.

Adair was speechless.

"M'lady, I did not mean to, uh, give offense. I just... I just... I-" He gulped.

Celena automatically smiled back at the complement, though she couldn't let her concern slip from her face. She looked back at the large woman berating the man, then back at girl looking all relaxed, before deciding that the man couldn't be seriously hurt with all these spectators around, many of which were guards and warriors, though that large weapon on her did startled the Lion Maid. Turning back to the Tyrell girl, she heard the unsure question and raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Yes? I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage, Lady...?"

Though Kylie quickly leaned in and whispered "Filicity Tyrell" Celena continued to look questioningly at the other girl, waiting for an answer.

Deanna: The Red Keep, Kings Landing

Deanna had to fight to keep from smiling as Revanna threatened the young lord but managed to keep her composure. Deciding to allow herself a bit of entertainment Deanna acted as though the lord wasn't being threatened in front of her. Ignoring him completely Deanna turned her attention to Revanna. "Of course Lady Stark. Maybe after you are finished with your joke you wouldn't mind speaking with me? I have heard many stories of your victories and would like to hear them from your own mouth. Perhaps later we can even have a spar. If you would like that is?"

"That's the one. Filicity Tyrell." Filicity properly introduced herself to Celena. She eyed her up. "Enjoying the capital so far, Lady Celena?" Filicity asked her, turning her stare back to Adair. I sure am.

Adair was fumbling like a fool. The crowd gathered around the pair had thinned out- as several musicians set up near the canopied center and begun playing 'The Dornishman's Wife'.

Celena laughed softly at the question. "Well I've talked to a total of five people outside of my family member and my brother's betrothed. Out of those conversations three included hints at a marriage proposal from men I've either never met or only once when I was a child. One was about some silly rumor over the Narrow Seas and the other was about the fluctuating prices of the Ironwood market these days. You can tell I was captivated by those conversations." She joked as the music began playing. "How was your trip from Highgarden? I haven't been there since before the turmoil in the Westerlands, but what I do remember was beautiful."

"My journey was fine, thank you for asking. And, yes, Highgarden is quite a sight. Especially around this time of year when all of the flowers are blooming." Filicity replied. "You should really come visit; I'm sure my father would be thrilled to have The Lannisters in his halls."

Filicity smiled. "Although enough about my home, I much rather converse with you about the fluctuating prices of the Ironwood market." She joked. Almost a whole band of musicians were playing their instruments now- but the chattering of all of the lords an' ladies was almost as loud as the music, so she couldn't hear too well.

She would have to get closer later.

"J-just what, Fossoway?" she asked, openly grinning now, thoroughly enjoying this. She turned her gaze towards Deanna, giving a light shrug. "If ye wanna talk an' spar, yer more than welcome to, yer majesty," she grunted, standing back up, feeling that all of the attention she was getting from the other nobles might not exactly be a good thing. The scarred cheek turned a little purple as she blushed, admittedly embarrassed by all the attention. "Simply.. lead the way, yer grace," she said, gesturing with a hand motion.

"We shall go to the sparring room then. I hope you don''t mind if I take a moment to change. My tailor would have my head if I were to ruin this dress so soon. Princess or no. " Deanna joked lightly as she began the walk back inside causing a few small laughs from those who heard her. Once she was out of the other Nobles view and in the halls she relaxed allowing herself to carry herself more like the warrior she was and not the Princess she acted like. She had no worries about doing such a thing around those like Ravenna who wasn't likely to think less of her but around the other Nobles... she learned to act quickly when her father heard some of the nobles call her 'The Savage Dragon' when she was younger and had no qualms about how she carried herself. He did not like the insinuation that he couldn't control his daughter. Smiling sympathetically at the Stark woman Deanna spoke. "I was sorry to hear of your father's ailment. Please give him my well wishes when you return."

Celena laughed again, and Kylie giggled to the side, before replying, "That seems like an agreeable topic, though I must say I took you to be a more of wine market investor yourself. After all, your family is overlord of House Redwyne." Before the girl could reply however, the band picked up and as a result the volume of the speeches around the courtyard rose to match it. Sensing that their pleasant conversation had just been ended for them, Celena gave a curtsy to Filicity before heading a bit further away from the band, where one did not have to shout to hear the person they spoke to.

As they walked, Celena spoke in an even tone. "Kylie, I love you like a sister, but don't ever interrupt a conversation between another and I, especially a lady of a Major House."

Kylie sputtered as she nearly tripped. Celena had used her "Lady voice" which meant that at that moment, she was all business. "B-but, my Lady Celena, I merely wished to inform you-"

Celena still looked forward as they stroll through the garden. "I knew who she was. It was merely courteous to ask her for her name." Kylie's head dropped in shame.

"My apologies my lady. It won't happen again." At that Celena stopped walking and turned to face her. She softly lifted Kylie's head so that she looked at Celena. To Kylie's surprise, Celena looked more sad than angry.

"I meant what I said about you being my sister Kylie, but that could've very well been Lord Hollis or his wife, and we discussing a marriage alliance or an important trade contract. Do you understand how embarrassing it would be had a handmaiden of mine interrupt like that? Especially if it showed that I didn't consult her for something as simple as the other person's name beforehand?"

"Yes my lady, I understand."

"Good, now we should get back to the celebration shouldn't we?" Celena's face relaxed into a smile again, and Kylie breathed out silently in relief before returning the smile.

"Yes, let's."

"Yes, I do think the Arbor Red of '87 was better than the '92 vintage," Tiber laughed as the lord in front of him vehemently disagreed. He was dressed in fine scarlet silk garb with the lion of Lannister stretched across his breast in gold.

"But it lacks the smooth burn of the aftertaste in the '92!"

"Ah but the '87 has a stronger oak flavor from the barrel that year, and that really gives you the lasting taste in your mouth that you can savor longer," Tiber concluded, to which the other man huffed a bit at. Leanne gave a gentle pet on the arm of her betrothed as well as the other man, before speaking in an arbitrating voice. She wore an open back purple and gold dress, for both the house she was born in and the one she will marry into.

"Now, now my lords, I'm sure Lord Redwyne is around here somewhere. Perhaps he can have a say on the topic?"

"Ah yes, excellent suggestion my dear. Who better to judge wine than the owner of the winery?" The other man agreed immediately.

"Yes, I'll go see where he is now." Tiber nodded, smiling.

"My thanks good man." When the other man walked off, Leanne rolled her eyes before looking around.

"Who's next?"

Tiber scanned the area before seeing Hollis Tyrell and his wife. "The Tyrells." Leanne smiled and took his arm, and together they walked over to the rulers of Highgarden. "Good day to you my Lord Tyrell, you're looking well. My lady," he took Brynn Tyrell's hand before kissing the back of it before letting go, "you're the third most ravishing woman here today. I trust you're enjoying yourselves? Will we have the pleasure of your company at our union in a few months time?"

Ravenna Stark, Red Keep

Ravenna simply nodded, following the Targaryen girl down the hallway, towards the so-called "Sparring room". "Aye aye, go do what ye need to do,"she said with a shrug, before frowning slightly at the girl's words. "And my father's fine, thanks," she said, turning her gaze downwards for a moment, before turning silently, entering the sparring room. She let her gaze roam around for a few moments, before she strode over to the wall, picking up a wooden blade, before taking position against the wall, turning her back to it and crossing her arms over her chest, humming as she began to wait for the Princess to return. Ravenna had seen the change of stance the girl had once she was out of the eyesight of other nobles, and could tell that the girl knew atleast something about fighting, although she didn't know exactly how much.

Timos: Kings Landing

Humming under his breath Timos walked through the streets of Kings Landing looking this way and that as he explored. The guards attempting to inconspicuously follow him noisily exposing themselves many times. They weren't good at sneaking around. Though he had know about them from the beginning. They really are pitiful. All the while he smiled and acted like any person new to Kings Landing. Wandering around, looking at things with interest, and sometimes getting lost. It was on one of these acts of getting lost that he took a few sharp turns and lost his guards. Hearing them curse as they lost sight of him he smiled and ducked into a narrow ally way that led him down some narrow steps, two lefts, a right, another left, some more steps, and out onto a street in Flea Bottom.

A boy with dark brown curls, brown eyes, a crooked nose, and pale skin walked out of the ally and into the bustling streets. His normal face and raggedly clothes fitting in perfectly with the surroundings as he walked through the over crowded streets, past beggars, and men fighting until The boy finally saw his target stumbling through the streets with a whore on his arm. Giggling and blushing as the man led her to a more solitary place. They entered the crowd that covered half the street and The boy followed suit. He walked past them and used the people as an excuse to run into the man. The man began shouting at the boy that ran into him, startling the whore, but by the time he turned The boy had vanished. Snarling the man turned his attention back to the whore. He would make it a few feet before falling to the ground, dead, startling screams from the whore. Smiling to himself The boy entered another ally that crossed one that Timos had gone through and pulling out a few bricks from the wall lining it gathered the bundle of clothes wrapped in a fur cloak and hidden within in the small hole behind where the bricks rested. Stepping into another smaller ally and out of sight of any onlookers The boy put on a face.

A few minutes later Timos stepped out of an ally way a few streets from the one he got lost in with a confused but bemused expression on his face that turned to a pleased one when he looked and saw he was back onto the street he got lost on. Shaking his head he began to walk again and explore ignoring the commotion the so called secret guards made when they spotted him. Travis Berkley, who was targeted by a girl he kidnapped and forced into Slavery for 12 years in the free cities, is now dead.

Deanna: The Red Keep, Kings Landing

Deanna allowed a real bright smile to break across her face as she stepped behind a changing wall within the 'Sparring room.' The room was where she grew up learning to fight and so naturally had a change of her proffered armor. Quickly changing into the light leather armor she instantly felt more comfortable, she wasn't one for dresses. Grabbing a wooden sword that was made after her rapier Deanna stepped from behind the changing wall and got into position. She knew she could not beat Ravenna through strength so instead would focus more on speed, balance, and grace. Turning sideways in a slight crouch with her sword facing the Stark girl, the usual position for the Water Dance fighting style, and shot her a teasing grin as her more lighthearted fighting spirit began to show through the remnants of her lady like composure. "Shall we begin?"

Ravenna Stark, Sparring Room

Ravenna Stark simply grunted, holding her blade in hand. "Ready," she grunted, eyeing the girl's fighting style. "Braavosi," she muttered, chuckling. "Figured you'd have that sort of trainin' as a Princess... Water Dancers are fuckin' expensive," she sighed, giving her limbs a stretch, before setting into her own fighting stance. The Princess wouldn't expect her to use her body aswell as the blade, and she knew that with her superior strength, she wouldn't have much trouble simply bashing the Princess down.. but this girl was a Princess, and knocking her senseless might not turn out too well for her and her family. She sighed, a conflicted look passing over her face, before she decided to step forward, taking a few testing jabs at the girl's defense, seeing how she'd respond.

Deanna: The Red Keep, Kings Landing

Hearing the Starks muttered word Deanna eyed her with new found curiosity and wariness. Few rarely recognized the style as anything but a foolish defense. The Stark Woman was smart. Eyes narrowing Deanna focused on the Woman and not the sword she held as she had been taught. The Stark's body would give her away faster then the sword. This rang true when Ravenna took a few small jabs at her. She saw her body move before her sword even began and was able to dodge the attacks by simply swaying and dunking. Only on the second to last jab did she swing her own sword and that was to bat Ravenna's away before dodging the final swipe. She is testing me to see how far I can go. "Don't go easy on me Ravenna. I wish to know why the rumors of you are so many and so great that they reach even King's Landing. In this room I am not a Princess and you are not a Lady Noble. We are warriors."

Ravenna chuckled, recognizing the quick, swaying and dodging motions that easily signified a Braavosi Water Dancer. She grinned, knowing a few ways to upset their little dance. "Don't worry yerself, princess, I never planned on goin' easy on ye," she laughed, before stepping forward, beginning to give a few rapid swings towards the girl, expecting the swaying and dodging motions, as she suddenly brought her foot up and around with incredible speed, trying to pull the other woman's legs out from under her, hoping that the sheer surprise and speed of the move would be enough to catc the the princess off her guard and send her plummeting to the ground. "And ye southrons have 'eard of me all the way down here?" she asked, raising a curious eyebrow.

Red Keep, King's Landing

POV: Trevir Arryn

The Arryns had wasted little time arriving at the Red Keep, but they had still managed to fall behind many of the other major houses. Gelgin had made sure that their appearance was as unobtrusive as possible, and they disturbed few people as they entered. The first idea that many had of the Arryn's presence was the sudden presence of men in Arryn colours joining the conversations.

Ser Jares had remained at his side, and they together wandered through the outskirts of the party, Jares making light conversation with anyone who would listen. Normally he'd not be here, but crowds somehow felt a little safer with Jares with him. Over in the corner, his father was brutally scrutinising the party for something or someone, but he didn't know what. So he became aware of the here and now, where Ser Jares was regaling small group about how the two of them fought off an ambush from the Hill Tribes in the Mountains of the Moon. It was fairly accurate, though the numbers were... exaggerated a little.

Through the telling, Trevir occasionally threw in an affirmation that it was all true, and general support of his story, but he didn't have any heart. Such a large crowd was not at all where he was comfortable, to say the least. Ser Jares by his side could only do so much to alleviate the crushing fear that he felt. It wasn't long before he wanted to get away again, but he didn't want to leave Jares with the choice of staying at the party or leaving with his friend.

After the telling, Jares moved a little away from the thicker portions of the crowd, and Trevir followed closely. Once there, he turned and laid a hand on Trevir's shoulder. "If you want to, you can leave for a little, and I can tell you want to. I'll come with."

Once again, Jares had read him like a book. Trevir mustered up a small smile. "No, it's fine. Stay with the party. Thank you, though." he said shortly, but with no lacking sincerity.

He turned and did his best to maintain a calm demeanour as he maneuvered through the various members of the gathering. Now that he didn't have Jares beside him, everything seemed doubly worse. Every look in his direction was a malicious glare, every word spoken was about how much of a coward he was for being afraid. He bit his lip shut to stop himself from making a sound, and unconsciously held in a deep breath as he went, deeper and deeper through his worst fears. The thread of his courage was slowly being eaten away as he walked. The exit to the outer yard of the Red Keep seemed so far away, it seemed like he could never reach it. Then he put a foot on the small upward steps, and it was suddenly right in front of him. The thread stopped withering away. Another step up, and it began to reweave back into its usual shape. Everything would be alright.

Another step, and he suddenly felt that everyone in the gardens was now burning a hole in his back with their disapproving gaze. The thread snapped. He couldn't control of himself, and he scurried up the rest of the steps and out of sight of the garden, breathing hard. Pressed up against the wall, he turned his head to the left. The action was slow, almost painfully so. A tower rose up from the ground next to him.

Still not feeling entirely safe, he made for the entrance, brushing off a guard who tried to inquire. The door swung open, thudding dully on its hinges, and Trevir barely stopped as he rushed through and up the staircase. Up and up, he didn't stop until he'd reached the top of the tower. Surprisingly, nobody was there.

Only here, leaning up against the battlements atop one of the towers of the Red Keep, did Trevir feel safe again. The sucking, metaphorical hole in his chest slowly began to slowly knit itself back together. He had no idea how obvious his breakdown was, or how much attention he drew. All he could do was hope that he could just try and sit it out, somehow. He wasn't going back in there without good reasons. Good reasons currently failed to present themselves.

A lady in waiting put the final touches of her dress before standing back in admiration. "You look lovely my queen. Like a goddess." Kuvira smiled politely and nodded towards her servant while the others andding on to her compiment.Kuvira was silent only admiring herself in the mirror, Looking at what she become. She wondered what her mother would thing and her father... " What's wrong your highness? Are you nervous?" Another asked seemily concerned with their future queen's well being.

Kuvira suddenly pulled herself from dreaming. She turned to the servant before saying.
"Of course not. I've been trained to become queen since I was born, I've had mentors, read book, constantly drilling myself to perfection." She looked back into the mirror, her head held high. "This is my divine right. I am what my father would be proud of, who I would be proud of. I have nothing to fear" she said almost as if the speech was for her rather than for her servants.

A guard knocked on the door informing the words "the lords and ladies have arrived. It is time." Her face started to shift to a calm expression.
"Well come on. I can't be late for my coronation." Two of the servants grabbed the end of her train of her dress. While two other went in front of her to place rose petals at her feet. Guards in front of her holding the flag if the targaryens as they began to walk to the courtyard.

She folded her hands to maintain them from shaking. She took a deep breath. This was the moment she was waiting for since she was young. It was her time to reign. So why was she feeling this way? She changed her attitude to something more bolder. Walking with grandiosity as if everyone was beneath because in her opinion,They were.

A servant announced her presents as she went out into the courtyard. The lords and ladies bowed as she past them by showing respect for their new queen. She stole a couple of glances to see where her sisters were. She only spotted Area, the one probably dying inside by her presents. She was frustrated by that point but didn't show the expression for it.
Where the hell is Deanna? She took a seat on the throne pulling at a smile to her guest as they clapped. She turned to her nearest servant. "Do you know where my youngest sister is?" The servant nodded before leaning closer into a whisper."In the sparring room with Ravenna Stark." Now she was pissed. "I can bring her here if you w-"

"No leave her there. If she wants to spar let her. She's a wild spirit pretty hard to tame but I'll deal with her. For now rest." The servant nodded before taking his distance.

Deanna: The Red Keep, Sparring Room

Your body gives you away Stark. Grinning viciously Deanna leaped over the leg that striked out at her. She had seen the Stark tense in preparation for the kick and was able to read her movements almost as fast as she thought them. The tips of her boots still brushed the Stark's keg as it swung under her though. With Stark's fierce speed she hadn't been able to avoid it entirely even with the forewarning. My teacher better be proud. I had to chase a lot of bloody cats to get fast enough to do all this. Landing back on the heels of her feet she barely allowed herself to roll onto the balls of her feet and steady herself from the stumble she almost fell into as her sword instantly swung out aiming for the closest opening in the girls armor shouting. "Of course!"

Timos: The Red Keep, Kings Landing

Stepping back into the court yard as the Queen finally arrived Timos couldn't resist the smirk that covered his lips when he heard the guards following him practically yell with relief that they wouldn't have to keep following the slippery lord and noisily leaving. Likely allowing the castle guards to take over. Shaking his head in bemusement he looked for his cousin and wasn't shocked to find she had disappeared. Allowing one of hie personal servants to take his cloak as he headed further into the yard. He dodged the many children and took a seat at one of the tables darting the yard. Immediately a glass of cool lemonade was set in front of him and he happily began to drink it. After a year in Winterfell I guess I must grow accustomed to the warmth once more. Pity.

Ravenna Stark, Sparring Room

Ravenna chuckled as the girl responded well to each move, and even being able to dodge her kick. It was a move that surprised even RAvenna, but she had no time to be surprised, before the little Targaryen Princess was lunging towards a chink in Ravenna's armor. She grunted, and with a quick flick of her wrist, parried the oncoming strike, although only enough so that the blade merely grazed her armor, before rapidly stepping forward, thrusting her elbow out towards the Princess's face.

Astris Elize Baratheon

The Red Keep - King's Landing

When the message had come from Braedon that they were to attend he coronation of the new Targaryen queen it was safe to say the Astris was not happy about it at all. She'd been so happy when the mad king was killed, although she never showed it but that family still needed to pay. Instead they had to come here and play all nicey nicey with them. Still, the young lady could see why they had to, spending her whole life so far playing the game she knew how it worked. Not that that meant she had to like it.

And so the Lightning Girl found herself stepping out of a carriage and into the courtyard at the Red Keep soon after. Astris was dressed up in one her newest gowns, gold fabric with long sleeves convening in a point attached to her middle finger in order to hide her lightnign flower for the most part and a sash around the waist that was dotted with little black stags. The dress was relatively low cut but not too revealing and she had thin gold circlet resting on her head, highlighted against her raven black hair. The young lady was slightly in shock at the sight of so many of the great houses as she'd never been out of the Stormlands before. Mostly because she was the youngest sibling and so unless it had been completely necessary to take her she was usually left behind with a septa in charge of her. But now Astris guessed she must get used to the exposure, especially with the chance of an alliance marriage looming in the back of her mind. For the moment though, shee stayed just inside the entrance of the courtyard, watching what was going on as she tried to work out who everyone was.

Deanna: The Red Keep, Sparring Room

You play rough Stark. Deanna thought as her blade was parried and merely grazed the woman's armor before being followed up by a swing of her elbow toward Deanna's face. Dropping her sword as she saw the move in Stark's body language the smaller girl grabbed the arm before it could smash into her face. Gripping it tight she used their height and weight difference against the Stark to swing up. Hands gripping the arm she dunked and swung under the arm and kicked her legs up off the ground, the arm made sure she wouldn't fall, and towards the Stark's face. I can play rough to.

Filicity curtsied back, but, before she could look back up Celena Lannister had left. Interesting. Filicity had heard much about House Lannister. They were supposed to be arrogant and obnoxious- but Celena seemed quite different.

I guess I shouldn't believe a stereotype.

Especially when Filicity herself was nothing like how a young lady from The Reach was supposed to be like.

"Who was that beauty?" Darrin asked Filicity as she sat beside him and Eveleen. Their table was by a large rose shrub.

"Celena Lannister." Filicity confirmed as she watched her brother sip on an orange-y mead.

"A Lannister?"

"A Lannister."

"I should visit The Westerlands more often if they breed 'em like that up there." Darrin chirped.

-

"Tiber Lannister!? Gods, it has been some time since I've last seen you." Hollis chuckled whilst grabbing Tiber's hand and shaking it.

"And this must be your bride to be, Leanne." Hollis added. He gently took Leanne's hand and pecked it with a kiss. Brynn curtsied.

"We are most definitely enjoying ourselves, my lord." Brynn said, elegantly.

"Of course, of course." Hollis nodded frantically. "We will most definitely be attending your wedding. We wouldn't miss it."

Hollis had a dumb smile on his face. He wasn't the cleverest man in Westeros, but he was still respected by many. He had ruled The Reach for almost forty years.

Aerea spied her eldest sister walk into the courtyard. Everyone clapped, and she sat. The coronation would begin soon enough. "My darling sister; I have noticed a lack of House Greyjoy and House Martell." Aerea began.

If I was my sister, I'd take that as a slight. At least House Baratheon has shown up. Aerea was sure they wouldn't show up after Maeryn had The King's Justice behead Ser Osmund at the sept of Baelor.

Celena and Kylie both curtsied as the soon to be new Queen Kuvira walked down to the herald's announcement and the applause of her subjects. She eyed the red headed sister sitting down on the side, and took note of that, as well as the white haired one's absence. It seemed that the Dragons are not united. Celena spotted movement on the edge of her peripheries, and looked just to see a young man with an eagle on his clothing rush off to a nearby tower. She turned to Kylie and in a low voice asked, "Did you happen to see who that was?"

"That was Trevir Arryn my lady, the one who crowned you Queen of Love and Beauty at the tourney before the Tarbeck-Reynes Rebellion," Kylie replied in a formal manner, careful to not slip up like before.

"That's the man who gave me that wreath?" Celena asked incredulously, this time actually rolling her eyes before composing herself. "Well he had better find a set of stones in his trousers if he wishes to even attempt to court me." She narrowed her eyes at the direction where he fled, before heading over to the refreshments table to pick up another glass of Arbor Gold. Kylie hastily followed her friend and lady.

_______________

Tiber smiled back at one of the more powerful man in Westeros. "Ah good, I was starting to be afraid that only the Westerland Lords would attend out of their obligations to my titles!" The Warden of the West gave a laugh, before continuing. "Tell me good Hollis, how is the family these days? You said it yourself, it has been a while, and the last I heard your daughter was expecting her first. How do the young roses of House Tyrell fare?"

Meanwhile Leanne conversed with Lady Tyrell on the side about the wedding. "I think roses with lilies should form the main clusters of the bouquets, red for the Lannisters and purple for Brax. Or should I go with gold ranunculus and white petunias for the happy occasion instead? Said Lady Tyrell, would you happen to know how many from your household will arrive, or if the families of your bannermen will be joining you? We have plenty of room to fit everyone comfortably in Casterly Rock of course, it's more of the matter of seating everyone properly for the ceremony and reception."

Of course, anyone with a hint of political sense could tell the underlying question beneath: Leanne all but actually asked about the current relationships between House Tyrell and her bannermen, as well as who was fit for travel and what not.

Rowan Tarly nervously downed another pint of ale in his hand, and it didn't even make him feel slightly buzzed. The young man and his parents had arrived at King's Landing with the Tyrell delegation earlier, and while his father and mother went off to mingle with the various heads of houses they left him to enjoy himself at the party. Now he wasn't sure what to do outside of bowing to the all but official crowned Queen of Westeros. The Fair Tarly had helped himself to the food present and aside from giving a double take at the Mountain Lion standing in full armor and weapons to the side, not do much to interact with the other guests.

What Rowan did noticed were the sheer amount of female attention that made him shift self consciously from side to side. He had caught eye contact with no less than three separate handmaidens and even a lady, all of whom broke their gaze to look somewhere else while their female companions burst into giggles. The Tarly didn't understand what was so funny, was there some leftover food on his face? At least he didn't run off like that other poor fella before; Rowan can empathize with him dearly. He wiped his mouth again and seriously contemplated in joining the other man up in that tower when he spotted someone the young man actually wanted to talk to.

Walking directly forward, he stopped in front of the Grand Maester before bowing formally and introducing himself. "Grand Maester Vladan? Rowan Tarly. I'm a big fan of your work, especially your treaties about improved law and order due to the presence of a standing army in Men Wrapped in Iron. Do you have a moment? I would love to get your advice on some things of the martial nature personally." The boy was genuinely excited, though did his best to not act like a fool and embarrass the family. Rowan had read Vladan's work ever since mastering the alphabet, and had since used that knowledge to translate to practical application on the field several times during his patrols.

Even if the courtyard was filled up with noblemen, there still was some "immaturity" on full display, though Braedon had to admit that seeing Adair Fossoway put in his place by Lady Stark was quite the amusing sight. Northerners would be Northerners, after all. Their quarrel had caught the attention of many of the other lords and ladies, them finding the series of events amusing as well, by the looks of it. It was unfortunate that the fun had to be cut short as one of the Targaryen girls - Deanna Targaryen, or so it had seemed - was able to drag Ravenna Stark away from the scene. Leave it to the Targaryens to ruin all the fun.

It seemed like a good amount of the major houses had shown up at this point - the Starks, Lannisters, Tyrells, and the just-arriving Arryns. Even the lords and ladies from the lesser houses were there, chatting amongst themselves. Braedon was mildly surprised to see some of his own men quickly joining in on the conversations and celebrations. Nobody appeared to be hostile to the Stags or their bannermen, at least not at the current moment. How quickly things would change.

Noticing the presence of Astris by the entrance of the courtyard, Braedon was quick to stroll over to his sister with the best smile he could manage. He wanted to check up on her, not having seen her much during the trip to King's Landing or having spoken with her for a while now. "It's much nicer than Storm's End, isn't it?" He asked, admiring the castle courtyard from a distance. He was aware of the fact this was the first time she had been out of the Stormlands, which must have been at least a small bit tiring for her. Turning his body to face Astris, Braedon raised an eyebrow, examining her now at a closer distance. "New dress?" He asked, looking up and down the gown a few times before letting out a small chuckle. "Not bad," he commented.

Braedon's attention was caught elsewhere when a small group of claps and cheers emerged from the other end of the courtyard. None other than the Queen herself. "That's her," he mumbled to his sister, glancing at Kuvira Targaryen for a split second before looking in another direction. "Remember, best behavior," he reminded, exhaling in anticipation for the coronation. "Wouldn't want your head chopped off now, would you?"

"Ah, yes."

Hollis stopped to think. "Filicity hasn't warmed to any of her suitors over the past three years, or so." He spoke.

"Although I'm sure I will find her a suitable match, sooner or later." Hollis forced a smile.

"No. Roses and Lilies would work much more." Brynn started as her eyes lit up. She had always been fond of flowers- which was one of the reasons why she was so happy when her father had matched her with the 'lord' of Highgarden.

"My husband and I will attend, obviously. Filicity and Darrin as well. Possibly Hollis' other children." Brynn added. I'm sure Eveleen would be glad to get away from Ser Erik for a little while.

Walder sighed as he began making the short accent up towards the castle courtyard, the journey, despite not being a long one taking a great toll on the elderly man, the Lord of Riverrun almost collapsing on two separate occasions, only being saved from the embarrassment by the presence of his three young granddaughters, the Ladys Gwenys, Malissa and Agnes able to catch him before his fall, supporting him through the rest of the journey and making sure that those present did not see his weakness. Walder although thankful for their support was aware of the odd looks that he was receiving, conscious that as the Lord of a major house many eyes would be upon him, each judging him and his family, trying to gauge where his loyalties lie, it's almost comical, Walder thought, catching the eyes of a young Stormlord, offering the lad a friendly smile before returning his eyes to his destination, all these strong and powerful Lords, each with their own secrets and agendas, all trying to one up each other, and here I am, a man who can hardly even stand without aid and I'm one of the most powerful in the room, he let out a brief chuckle, wincing slightly at the pain.

"Just set me down here girls" Walder gestured as they reached an appropriate table, grimacing as he lowered himself onto a finely carved bench, likely made specially for the coronation and probably more expensive than some of the castles in the Riverlands "I'll be fine from here, you girls should go and mingle with the crowd, it would do you good to get some fresh air and to meet some new people, you don't want to be cooped up talking to an old man throughout the entire evening, this is a celebration after all" The younger trouts giggled and nodded, scattering into the sea of Lords, going off to speak with any that caught their eye.

"I should go too" Said the gruff voice of Lord Eddard Bracken, whom had thus far stuck closely to the Tullys keeping Lord Walder company and making sure that he didn't dose of, old age was truly a curse "I need to find my niece and congratulate her on her future marriage, her mother would have my head if she thought that I was avoiding her" Walder nodded happily.

"Just make sure you say hello from me" He replied.

"Of course, Of course"

Walder watched the man turn and walk away before gesturing for a servant to bring him a drink, nothing alcoholic this time, whilst he would give anything for a tankard of strong ale to ease the pain in his leg, he needed to keep his wits about him in this city and knew that whilst his drunken rendition of 'The Bear and the Maiden Fair' may be very entertaining for the Lords of King's Landing it would not go over well with the royal family.

I should really begin to mingle
Walder thought though he soon dismissed the notion, if anyone wanted to talk to him he was right there and it wasn't as if he wanted to seek anyone out, well except maybe Lord Baratheon, with whom he hadn't spoken since the death of his father in the middle of this very city, though that can wait, he thought, I have no desire to rush such an unpleasant conversation. He sat in silence for a few seconds before receiving his drink, taking a sip of water before placing it upon the table, King's Landing, what a terrible city.
