Fantasy A Cacophony Of Noise

@Kry @Firebright

The werewolf smiled at the girl, and a lazy shrug lifted his shoulder as he looked over at the warring emotions on the vampire's face. He took a swig of his blood vodka as the decision was made, and the vampire started his approach. He turned a red eye to the lavender fae girl, and a cheeky grin spread across his face as she took up her drink and started to sip it. He looked down for a moment, and shook his head, before relaxing back into his seat and watching the dance floor..

"Djou don't miss a trick." He commented as the vampire arrived silently and sat so close he was basically pressed up against his side. Bones frowned a little, trying to work out where to put his arm that had been dislodged as the kid sat down, so he draped it over the vampire's shoulder and chest. He shook the lad a bit, with a smile at the girl. "Zhis one ain't so bad eizher."  He raised his glass to his lips and drank the cold, cloying liquid, feeling his wolf settle into a comfortable sleep deep in his chest. He felt like snoozing himself, but that was boring.

The wolf baulked a little at the idea of joining the lithe girl before him, and he coloured a little at the thought of his lumbering form trying to dance. "Me? I am 'ardly a good dance partner. Ask Bell 'ere. 'E can tell djou 'ow bad I really am!" His laugh was light, and he placed the half drained glass down on the table top. "Me. I like to vatch, and I get zhe feeling djou like to be vatched, Fae." He released the vampire for a moment, and leant forward in his elbows, on the table, face thoughtful. "Say, vhat is djour name?"

(Since my baby is out... My charry is open for interaction!)

Isabella quickly noticed that Andrew, her new friend was gone. She quickly stopped dancing, looking around sadly for the boy before sighing. Well, I guess I'm done for the night. The chimera thought to herself before going back to her seat and her drink, chugging the rest of it down and watching everyone around her mingle. Being alone isn't so bad. Of course, Chimera's are very social creatures, Isabella was... well, the opposite. She seldom liked interacting with people, and when she did, it was briefly. Another thing about chimeras, it is very hard for one to make a friend. They're honesty and bluntness, along with a strong sarcastic attitude drove most new people away.

The look Isabella was giving everyone, her scowl, pretty much told everyone to not even bother to try with her. Then again, half of them saw what she did to the poor man that was helped up by the big werewolf that was in the front. Isabella sighed deeply, leaning back in her chair and pinning her ears against her head so the music didn't hurt them so much.

Bell would have been content to ignore the faerie, and content to half ignore the werewolf, just basking in that man's warmth and scent but several things happened that prevented such things. The werewolf had draped an arm around the vampire, mostly because Bell was far to close to the man, and the girl had referred to him as 'Vampy'. His purple eyes narrowed into a vicious glare when that word left her lips, and Bell's own lips drew back in a snarl. "Vampy?" The word was growled out and it was clearly a word he did not approve of being called, but before he could do much more, that girl's voice was in his head.

The angry glare, turned to wide eyed surprise and it took him a few moments to actually register what she had said. She had been in his head, and he did not appreciate that at all, then she had implied that he was trying to...pursue the werewolf...That wolf was already mid conversation with the girl when Bell finally reacted to the words in his head, he moved away from the wolf while at the same time shoving the man rather hard away from him. His expression once more turned to a glare and he was on his feet in moments.

"Stay out of my head, bug, and stop making assumptions about people." As angry as he was, there was still that sadness in his expression as well. He gave the faerie a warning growl, before turning away from her and the werewolf. Why the hell had he even come over there in the first place? He didn't need her company for sure, and he certainly didn't need to be hanging around that werewolf anymore at all either. If no one stopped him, the jingling vampire would angrily stalk away from them, his destination would be an empty table somewhere far from faerie and wolf. Though still within sight of them so he could watch the wolf.

His body seemed to tremble with the anger, but he was doing a good job of controlling it. If circumstances were different, he would have put his fangs in her throat. As it were, he merely attempted to get away from them.

One moment the werewolf was enjoying coversation, the next, he found himself with a hand to his torso, the air rushing from his lungs with the force of the shove, and the ground coming up quick to meet him as he found himself slipping off the seat, having been midway through working his way back after asking the Fae her name. Bones' upper arm banged loudly on the edge of the table as he toppled, and he blinked once, twice, three times owlishly as he tried to figure out what the heck had happened. An arm raised up, palm pressing against the table to bring him back into his seat, inspecting the offending area on his arm that had been clouted by the fall.

"Vhat is zhat guy's problem?!" The wolf seethed, rubbing at the welt that had raised on his arm, glaring after the vampire as he stormed off. Bones was not chasing him again, and the brat could stew over there by himself!!! He looked apologetically to the girl he'd joined. "I apologise for 'im, as 'e is not likely to do it 'imself! Typical vampire! Very selfish." He drained his glass, appreciating the burn of it as it went down and Bones leaned back, feeling a bit sorry for himself.

Alyssa giggled. "Ooh that way enjoyable. I'm Alyssa. "She smiled at the werewolf and smirked at Bell from across the room. "I sure wont be dancing by myself, Wolfy."  She leaned back in her chair lifting her drink to her lips and taking a pull from it. "Fae are good dancers only when they have a partner to dance with. besides going up there by myself would just be awkward. " She grinned at him leaning forward again. "I'm sure he will come back over here eventually. I just hurt his pride a bit."

That faerie was wrong on two counts, she had not hurt Bell's pride nor did he have any intention of coming back over there at all. She had blatantly insulted him by calling him 'Vampy' and then she had been inside his head, and making the assumption that Bell wanted the werewolf. The vampire was seething, he had destroyed creatures or lesser insults than those before, but he knew he couldn't do that in this place. If he had attacked that rude faerie, he was certain the were wolf would have gotten angry with him.

When he reached a suitable, empty table he sat down, turned slightly so he could just barely keep the werewolf in his eyesight. Bell was scowling, his arms crossed across chest and his jaw was clenched tightly. He was sorely tempted to return to that castle, to return to Cade, putting up with the ancient vampire was certainly better than dealing with these people. Bell shuddered a bit, his arms uncrossing as he lifted his hands to scrub at his face for a few moments. No, this place was still much better than being in that castle, with all those memories and Cade.

Bell brought his hands down, letting them rest on the table and then he leaned forward. Resting his head on his arms, as he kept his purple eyes mostly on the werewolf. His gaze did dart around the room every now and again, but mostly he just watched that other man. He had gotten away, put some distance between them out of anger, but somehow he could make himself put even more distance between them. Bell just wanted to pretend that man was the werewolf he had lost, and get lost in the warmth of him. It was wrong, he knew that, but it was hard to deny how he was feeling.

The werewolf scowled across at Bell, idly massaging where he'd hit his arm against the table. With his speedy healing, the bruise was almost blooming in front of the eyes, and the lump had already dissipated. The werewolf almost missed the Fae trying to cajole him to the dancefloor, but he shook his head, fingers dancing around the glass he'd drain as he stared at the girl with intense eyes, his scarred face cracking into a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

"Some verevolves are good dancers. I? I am definitely not. But I appreciate good dancing and can see it in ozhers." His sharp grin was playful as he patted the Fae's arm. "It vas a good try, zhough. I am not so drunk zhat I zhink I could join djou." The werewolf chuckled and leaned back into his seat, watching the dancers already on the dancefloor thoughtfully. If she wanted to dance why not? That strange girl with the ears and tail who'd taken out the big guy had certainly not held back. He motioned to her now.

"Vhat about zhe girl over zhere? She was dancing just now and lost 'er partner. Djou two would be most enjoyable to vatch!" He laughed, and winked at the faerie, seeing if she'd take the bait and offer to dance with the other.

Alyssa grinned, "I might if this drink wasn't so good. I probably will later though." She gave him a wink. He was baiting her but she did not like being pushed to do somthing. She wanted to but would do it in her own time. "So how didi you come about this place?" she gestured to the whole place they were in as she lifted her drink to her lips again. the sweetness of it filling her senses. "I do love this drink" she giggled, still waiting for him to answer the first question. She could see he was smiling but it wasn't true. there was something he was not letting her see. A sadness  of some kind.  @Malhyanth

Bones leant back with a slight pout, but it was fake and he soon dropped it with a truer grin. As a waitress wandered by, he waved the kid down and gave her his glass, requesting another; she nodded with a slight smile, and sashayed off. He turned his attention back to the Fae as she asked him about the Cacophony. He mused on the question, scratching at his stubbly cheek, before answering.

"I started coming 'ere vhen my packmate started vorking zhe door." He commented, jerking a thumb over his shoulder towards the only way in and out. He smiled fondly at the memories of those first weeks. "It vas a quiet place zhen; more of a pub, I suppose. No VIP areas, no 'ostel underneazh." The waitress had returned, and set his usual whiskey in front of him with a little bow of her head. "It just grew from zhere." Bones commented, taking the glass up to smell his drink; the heady caramel aromas, entwined with oak, and a slight smokiness.

His eyes watched the girl over the rim of the glass, a slight squint to them as he assessed her.  "So vhat about djou? I vas bought 'ere by Ade, telling me I may be able to stay out of trouble. Vhat is djour story, hm?" Bones' look was intense, and he idly rose a hand to check the tie around his bone covered dreadlocks, the other slowly swirling the drink as he lounged back.

Alyssa shrugged, "I don't really have any one. I earn rumors of this place and figured that I might as well visit." she finished of her drink quickly. "I thought I might actually make friends." she sharply ended that sentence so she wouldn't say more. Alyssa hummed softly again, her silver freckled glinting as she shifted in the light. Her bright purple eyes were locked on him for the time being. Her pouty lips turned up in another smile. "Did you do those yourself?" she asked gesturing to the dreadlocks. "They are nice".

Bell watched the faerie and werewolf talk, scowling a bit as he did so. The vampire was far too prideful to return to that wolf's side after storming off like that, and honestly that faerie irritated him so badly he didn't even want to be near her again. He grit his teeth, as he thought about sinking his fangs into the tender flesh of that girl's neck. Bell wasn't hungry, not anymore, he merely wanted the satisfaction of feeling her body lose it's warmth in his arms, beneath his fangs. There wasn't quite anything as satisfying as the feeling of extinguishing the life of one that was annoying. That tongue flicked out to lick across his lips, and he shivered. He could still taste the werewolf's blood.

The vampire rolled his eyes and groaned with annoyance. He wanted to distance himself from that wolf, but it was so difficult to do that. It should be simple, to just get up and walk out of this place. Never return again. It wasn't so simple, not for Bell at least. His gaze never wandered far from the werewolf, and with the memory of that man's blood on his tongue, the memory of that taste, the vampire found it even harder to stop thinking about him. Bell closed his eyes, perhaps if he stopped staring it would be easier, but when he closed his eyes all he could see was the face of a tall red haired werewolf. His hands clenched into tight fists.

Fingernails gouging half moon shapes into his palms, drawing blood, but he didn't care. He would never be able to escape that image, it had been his fault too. If he had been stronger, faster he could have saved Red. For a while it had been so easy to blame Cade, they were afterall under his protection then. If that ancient hadn't been high on the blood of his latest prisoner, he could've gotten there in time. Bell's eyes snapped open, the purple orbs swimming with deep emotion for a moment. That look of wanting to cry still remained on his expression, but slowly he sat up, hands raised to rub lightly at his eyes.

He really needed to stop thinking about werewolves, white ones and red ones. He turned his head away, finding a random spot in the room to focus his gaze on instead of the wolf and fae.

The werewolf noted the aversion to his question, but let it slide. He was often cagey about his own troubled past. It wasn't often that one didn't notice this giant of a man, covered in an eclectic variety of scars. The one that tweaked his lip up into a permenant smirk was often the one most stared at, as it was deep, and bit into his cheek as well as into his heavier brow. His red eyes appraised the girl as she passed comment on his dreads, and his grin widened. He raised his hands and released the band around them, shaking out the dyed maroon red, various length of dreadlock, the bone ornaments making clunking chimes as they bounced together.

"Naturally! A verevolf I may be, but ve do 'ave a certain level of care for our appearance!" He chuckled as he sipped his drink, pulling a dreadlock forwards, and twirling it about a long finger, watching the bird skull spin. "Yes, I maintain zhem vizh utmost care! After all, I cannot be Bones vizhout zhem." He laughed, and leaned back in his seat. He tilted his head, looking to the girl's own unusual appearance. "Are djou going to tell me djour purple is au naturale?"

The werewolf casually looked out across the dance floor, picking out the few individuals he was keeping an eye on; the vampire, the new girl that had decked that guy. He wanted to make sure that before he got too drunk that he was able to account for their whereabouts, and ensure that they weren't getting in trouble. Both seemed somewhat subdued, which made a touch of a pout cross his features, before turning his attention back to the Fae girl, and his glass!

Alyssa grinned, "we fae have naturally brightly colored hair, at least my race does. So yes it is natural." She glanced across at the vampire. She gestured to the piercings on her lips and nose, "There are the one things not natural about my appearance." She spun her labret with her tongue. She wondered how she had come to be here again. Why she continued to stay. What was keeping her? Nothing, so she should go. She didn't want to be alone. She reminded herself of why she had come. She needed friend and had found a gentle werewolf. She smiled to herself and looked back to the dance floor.
