"What's the fun if you don't get hurt?" Kai laughed, "you can just watch if you want."


After he gathered everyone on deck he yelled, "right, time for some 'over sea dueling'!!!!" Everyone on board cheered. Kai then walked over to Cassandra and whispered in her ear. "They duel high above the water with cutlasses. You fall off you lose, and you have to get onboard yourself, no help." Kai smiled drawing his cutlass "whos first!"

Cassandra raised an eyebrow, leaning on one of the cannons again and smirking. "Hah... no, thank you. I think I'd be happy with just watching, I'm not a fantastic swimmer... or duelist." she said with a shrug, glancing around at the crew members briefly. "But it looks like you've got everyone riled up. Good job with that..." she adjusted her hat.

"Righty ho," Kai said climbing up the mast, "Bruce, you again, i see you have recovered from before, excellent now come up here and lets do this."


Kai took his stance glaring into Bruce's eyes. Bruce jabbed forward and Kai easily glanced it to the side. Kai then leaped up and kicked Bruce in the nose, sending him reeling backwards. Bruce wiped the blood from his nose and charged Kai. Kai leaped to the side, just managing to grab hold of a rope. He then swung back and knocked Bruce off into the sea.

Cassandra watched quietly, still leaning on the cannon as the two fought. As Bruce fell into the sea, she raised an eyebrow, straightening up and peering overboard. "Well, good luck getting back up..." she said with a smirk, before clapping for a few moments, looking up at Kai. "Good job. You sure showed him." she said in a rather flat tone, before resting against the cannon again. "Now, who else wants to have a go at him?"

"Woah woah, calm down sweety," Kai said, climbing down, "lemme take a break." Kai drank some rum and sat down on the side of the ship, "you wanna give it a go?" Kai joked taking another swig of rum.

She paused briefly, peering over the edge of the ship for a few long moments and glancing around. "Hmm, I might. With whom will I fight, then?" she raised an eyebrow, pulling off her hat and running a hand through her hair. Cassandra smiled slightly and glanced around at the crew, tilting her head. "I hope no one's afraid of fighting a lady."

A few men raised their hands. All of them were big and bulky. Kai walked over to a skinny young boy, "Mike, how about you, go easy she is new," Kai smiled and patted Mike on the back. Mike smiled, he knew he looked weak and he was, but he was a martial arts and acrobatics expert. Mike staying with the act, slowly climbed the mast and pretended to try and balance.

Cassandra watched for a few moments, before gingerly climbing the mast and gaining her balance quickly as she straightened up. She didn't have too much trouble; she had walked on many walls before, usually in her old shoes, which pinched her feet. This wasn't as hair, especially with the sailor's boots, even if they were a few sizes too big. Running a hand through her hair, she smiled, drawing her sword. "Now, are there any rules to this game I should know of? Any fouls, or anything of the sort?"

Mike smiled, "no rules but it isnt advised to back up onto part of the mast above deck. If you get pushed back, its better if u jump off before you are above the ship," he chuckled and then added, , "happened a few times and it wasnt very pretty." Mike threw his head back and laughed. He then drew his cutlass. "When you're ready ma'am" he said bowing. "So what do you think of Kai?" Mike added with a wink.

She listened quietly, keeping a strong grip on her cutlass as she stared at him. At his question, she rolled her eyes, getting into a good position. "He's far from gentlemanly, that's for sure. But he hasn't killed me, and he can make for an interesting conversational partner, so he's already better than that Edward fellow back home. Now, then, let's get on with the fight." she said with a small smile and nod, waiting for a few moments, unsure of who should make the first move.

Mike pretend to fall but caught himself with his feet. Mike was known as the monkey, and this was why. He swung himself back up behind Cassandrs and shoved her forward. Laughing he leaped forward, thrusting his sword at Cassandra's stomach.

Her eyes widened as she was shoved, and she quickly spun around and moved back, trying to keep her balance as she moved her cutlass to block the stab. Cassandra narrowed her eyes as she struggled to get her balance back, swinging at him with the cutlass while her feet found a proper position to stand with.

Mike laughed at her attempts to swing her cutlass. He dived off the mast and caught a rope and swung back at Cassandra, his feet out.

She yelped, stumbling back and nearly falling off the mast, falling back onto it and gripping it. Inching back, her eyes widened as his feet flew past her, keeping a tight grip on the sword as she struggled to stand and regain her balance, keeping her knees bent and her arms spread out.

Laughing Mike swung down and landed just by Cassandra's feet. He pointed his cutlass to her neck and said "jump!"

Her eyes widened, and she took a few quick steps back, her foot slipping. She muttered a curse as she fell, grabbing onto the mast and glancing down. She had figured the water wasn't too rough before, and had found a way up before, assuming she was capable of pulling herself up. Taking a deep breath, she let herself drop into the water.

Kai watched her drop. His eyes following her as ahe fell into the water. He then looked up and saw Mike swing down smiling. He was laughing and high fiving the other crew members. Kai ran to the edge of the boat and looked over to see if he could see Cassandra.

She poked her head out of the water, spotting her path on the side of the boat, though his was farther from where she landed than she thought. With a sigh, she swam over to where she needed to with some difficulty, grabbing onto the boat. Frowning, she paused briefly to rest, before starting to slowly make her way up.

Kai saw Cassandra climbing up and breathed a sigh of relief. When she was back onboard he hugged her then pulled back straight away. "Well that was awkward." He laughed and sat down on the railing.

"That was tiring." she said with a pout, folding her arms and leaning against the railing. "And now I'm soaked and sore. So, all in all, not much but a few bruises and embarrassment was gained from this." Cassandra ran a hand through her dripping hair, before attempting to ring some water out of her shirt.

Kai laughed as he watched Cassandra try to get the water from her clothes. "Go get changed," he suggested "into some fresh clothes."

"Good idea." she said with a frown, making her below deck. "I'd better wash these, as well... and you better have grabbed some more of that smaller man's clothes, because otherwise I'm out of luck..." she ran a hand through her hair again, looking around for the clothes she needed. Having found some similar clothes of the same size, she grabbed them, heading back up. She entered Kai's cabin and changed quickly.

After a bit Kai walked into the cabin just after Cassandra had put on her pants. He opened a bottle of rum and sat in his hammock. Aftet taking a swig he looked over to Cassandra and offered her a drink.

She flinched as he entered, slipping on a pair of boots and putting her hat on, looking up at him. When he offered the bottle of rum, she sighed, shaking her head. "I'm certainly not in the mood for drinking now. That was embarrassing, honestly. And who does he think he is, cheering and boasting because he beat a lady?" Cassandra pouted, straightening up and putting her hands on her hips.

Kai laughed at Cassandra's comment and finished the bottle. "Girl, boy, lady, man, it doesnt matter darling," Kai said and set the bottle down on the table. He looked up at Cassandra. She sure looked cute when she was pouting, Kai chuckled to himself. "So how are you liking life onboard sweetheart?" Kai asked.
