[1x1] To High Seas (DrHuggies & SC)

Kai followed the shouts of Cassandra until he found the ship. He quickly climbed onboard and disguised himself, waiting for night to come. Hopefully Cassandra will be safe, he couldnt bear it if she got killed.

"Awful, horrible pirates..." she muttered under her breath, waving one of her arms as a few men peered down at her. "Yes, yes, down here! Please, do help me! It's freezing, and I'm exhausted!"

Her eyes widened slightly as someone dropped a rope down, and she grabbed on, still for a few moments. "...well, you know, I'm awfully tired, too tired to climb. I bet some nice strong sailors would have no trouble pulling me up!" she called, looking up. She suppressed a smirk as they started to pull her up, and when she was on board, she feigned weakness, collapsing. She glanced up at the group of men with wide eyes.

"How glad I am that someone came by! I was on a ship -- a nice little ship, and these pirates came by, these--" she paused at the sight of Kai, before forcing herself to go on. "--these- these awful, dreadful pirates! They killed everyone, and I jumped overboard... I don't think they saw me, as they left right after..."

Kai nodded, she certainly was very good. Kai flashed her a wink as he caught her eye. He then turned away and got to work. Luckily no one noticed that he wasnt supposed to be there. Or so he thought.

Cassandra was about to go on, but began to shiver.

"Get this woman a blanket!" one of the men ordered, and a few sailors began to scramble, heading below deck quickly to get her one. She smiled as she was handed a blanket, wrapping herself up in it.

"Thank you. It's wonderful that you're so hospitable..." she said with a small smile, carefully getting to her feet. "...I'm sorry, I'm a mess right now, and my nerves are frayed... you wouldn't have anywhere for me to rest, would you?"

The man led Cassandra below decks and into a room. He then left abruptly. Kai snuck inside and sat down on her bed. "Comfortable," Kai surprised Cassandra taking off the hat he was wearing. "Well done," he mock clapped and lay down on her bed.

She paused, glaring at him for a few long moments. "How rude, throwing me overboard like that." she whispered, folding her arms. "And they'll find it suspicious that you're in here, you know." Cassandra pouted, running a hand through her soaked hair. "Twice today have I been dropped into the ocean, and I'm not very fond of it at all."

Kai laughed and stood up. He pecked Cassandra on the forehead and said "see you tonight," he then walked out. Once outside he grinned so wide. Cassandra's cheek had been a tad salty from the seawater but her skin was still surprisingly soft. That moment would stay with Kai forever. He smiled even wider and pulled the hat over his head.

She flinched when he gave her a small kiss, noting down that she would have to hit him hard that night, possibly with her shoe. She glanced down, remembering that she was barefooted, and sighed. Cassandra peered outside, thankful that the sun was slowly sinking in the sky. She didn't want to spend much time waiting around. Sitting down on the bed, she wondered if she could get a meal from them -- she almost certainly could, and she hoped the quality of the food was at least decent.

Kai worked hard and was exhausted when it was dinner time. He saw the captain go downstairs with some food so he presumed it was for Cassandra. Kai smiled and drank his soup. There was lots of chatter that night. Kai had seen all the loot on the ship and he was very excited, just an hour or two and everyone would be asleep.

Cassandra sat up a bit when she was given some food. She gave a polite smile and nod, thanking the captain and watching as he left. She smiled, beginning to eat.

"Dinner in bed... I'd be treated better here than if I were to stay on the pirate ship..." she mused, taking a few bites of her food as she thought. She wrinkled her nose slightly, at her own thoughts rather than the food. "Scummy captain, how dare he kiss me like that? Lets his men barge in on me while I'm changing -- hell, probably ordered them to..."

After all the crew had gone to sleep he crept into Cassandra's room. "Wakey wakey sweet heart," he said as he walked in. He reached into his pants and pulled out his knife. "Time to slit throat."

She yawned, straightening up and rubbing her eyes. "Oh, right... I'm going to feel awful for this, you know..." she said, reaching into her dress and pulling out a knife. "Now, then, where shall we start? I suggest we start off with the main... quarters. Sleeping place. Oh, whatever, I don't know the right word..." she sighed, waving the knife dismissively. "Right, I trust you know where it is, so... lead the way."

Kai was surprised she didnt slap him or stab him or kick him. He chuckled slightly and walked down the corridor. He entered the first room and slit the mans throat. "Easy," he whispered into Cassandra's ear. "Your turn hun."

She frowned slightly and nodded, thankful she didn't bring her shoes, as her bare feet were silent on the wooden floor as she crept over to another sailor. Turning her head away slightly, she quickly slit the man's throat, wincing. She then made her way over to the next sailor, doing the same. She looked over at Kai briefly. "Easier said than done..." she whispered, nodding over to the rest of the sleeping men; there were at least ten of them.

Kai looked over at the remaining men. He counted 11. This should be easy. Kai walked up to a man and slit his throat. Blood squirted out and narrowly missed Kai. Kai grinned at Cassandra and got to work on the next man.

She sighed quietly, glancing away briefly as another man's throat was slit. She joined in as well, and in a few minutes they had made short work of the men, only one or two struggling quietly. When they had killed off the last sailor in the room, she nodded. "Alright. I suggest we clear up everyone else first, then we can get on with the fun part..."

"I thought killing everyone would be the fun part," Kai said as he climbed onto the main deck. The cold wind slapped him hard in the face. He got suspicious gazes from the sailors on duty so he quickly turned around and helped Cassandra up the stairs. "There you go ma'am," he said and kissed her hand. He walked up to the sailor who was steering. "The madam wants to see how you steer," Kai said, when the man turned around to greet Cassandra, Kai drove his knife into the mans stomach. He then quickly stole his gun and threw him overboard.

Cassandra watched quietly, following close behind. "Shall we take it to your ship, then?" she asked quietly, smiling at him. She glanced around briefly, before sighing, brushing a few loose strands of hair out of her eyes. "And I'll have you know," she added, just as quietly, "killing them is one of the parts I enjoy the least. Especially quietly, because there's not the heat of battle to distract you." she frowned, glancing around again. "I'm only doing this for the wealth and goods, you know."

Kai grinned and took the wheel steering the ship back to the boat. He taught Cassandra how to sail and let her take the wheel. Tired he sat on the ledge and pulled a pipe out of the dead mans jacket. He lit it and blew a few smoke rings.

She glanced around for a moment as she steered carefully, before looking down at him. "I suggest you go finish off the rest of the crew, before your men board. Then there will be less of a fight." Cassandra said with a shrug, running a hand through her hair as she thought quietly, shifting her weight a little.

Kai nodded and headed into the captains quarters. The captain was awake. "Sh**!" Kai yelled as the captain threw his fist at Kai. Kai ducked and swept the captains feet from under him. Kai then leaped on top of the man and brought his fist onto the mans face. The captain had dodged it just in time though, and Kai's fist slammed into the wooden floor. Cursing in pain, Kai was pushed off the captain. The captain lifted up a chair and launched it at Kai. The chair connected with the side of Kai's face, knocking him to the ground, leaving him slightly dazed. Kai pulled out his knife and threw it at the captain, the knife hitting him in the arm. He screeched out in pain and pulled the knife from his hand. The captain then dived at Kai, the bloodied knife in his hand. Kai managed to just dive out of the way and fire the gun at the captains head, killing him. The gunshot was sure to wake up the rest of the crew, Kai thought as he retrieved his knife from the dead man's hands.

Cassandra stood quietly, spotting Kai's ship in the distance. She thought for a few moments, though any thoughts she had were interrupted by the sound of a gun. Flinching, she glanced back for a moment, frowning. Now everyone else was sure to be awake. Shifting her weight anxiously, she wondered briefly if she could make the ship move any faster. The pirate ship had probably spotted them by that point, at least, and she hoped that they would start heading towards them.

Kai burst out the cabin's door and was greeted by 5 or so men, all equipped with cutlasses. Kai scanned the crowd, there were a few with muskets. Kai dived back inside the cabin and flipped a table over. He then grabbed the captains musket and shot down the musket carrying sailors. He threw the now ammo-less musket to the side and grabbed 2 cutlasses from the cabin. He stepped out and threw one at Cassandra. Twirling around to face the oncoming sailors he snarled, "who's first.

Cassandra flinched, catching the cutlass. "What do I do? I'm steering the ship--" she yelped as one man swung at her, keeping her back against the wheel as she blocked the swing with her cutlass. "I'd better not lose the other ship because of this!" she called, glaring at Kai for a moment, before directing all her attention to the man before her.

Kai saw Cassandra having trouble and threw his knife at the man she was fighting. The knife scraped her cheek, but thudded into the mans forehead and he collapsed. Kai then ducked and twirled under a cutlass blow and thrust his blade into the sailor. Rolling to the side, he sliced a hole in another sailors stomach. Feeling the adrenaline pumping through his veins he leaped onto the dead body of a sailor. Picking up his pistol he fired a few bullets, each one hitting its mark. Before long only one sailor remained. He was quite burly. Kai aimed his pistol at the mans forehead.

The pistol was empty. Throwing the gun to the side, Kai drew his cutlass and slashed at the man. The sailor easily ducked under Kai's blow and striked him in the stomach with his fist. Kai flew back, the cutlass knocked from his hand. The sailor then snapped Kai's cutlass in half and advanced on him. Winded, Kai stood up and faced the man. Shaking his head clear of the dizziness he thrust his foot out at the mans balls.
