I came across the following on the White Wolf Exalted form. It is the best canonical-material based summary of the transition from Exalted to oWoD that I have seen.

I have my own theories as to Exalted/oWoD continuity.
The Scarlet Empress is released upon Creation...
Something to think about. Spirit nukes detonated in the Labyrinth in the oWoD did not destroy Creation, but they did set the final phase of its destruction in to motion…
These sound quite cool. I’ve heard some talk about the Solar lord of Creation in other places, but I wonder how these ideas would match up with the description of the Emissary in action, as presented in A Day as Dark as Night. We’ll have to wait and see, I suppose.
I can sympathize. I lived in Sweden for a number of years and it was nasty being an American there after 9/11 when it became clear that the US was going to invade Afghanistan. It became even more fun when invading Iraq became a real possibility. The sad thing was that it did not matter that I...
My favorite Exalted-flavor films:
• Mr. Vampire. A bit goofy, but it presents a fantastic image of thaumaturgy and a supernatural martial art designed to combat the walking dead. The main characters are heroic martial artists/exorcists.
• Twin Warriors, with Jet Li and Michelle...
I’ll be joining you both shortly in posting fiction. Cthulhu_Wakes already has some good stuff up, the Battle of Low Wall being my favorite…but what’s this!? Elemental status. FUCK YEAH! WOO-HOO! If I weren’t already pissed, I’d get hammered to celebrate!
Wasn’t The Beast that Shouted I at the Heart of the World the title for the last episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion? ÂÂ
At any rate I have a theory about long flowery Abyssal names. They’re kind of like naming a boy Sue….Any Deathlord who hangs such convoluted monikers on...
Quit pointing out the flaws in my allusions, damn it!  :D
And yes, a description of the Deathlord occupied city has the potential for serious coolness. The state of mortals living under the boot of the Mask of Winters has been the subject of much curiosity. Is the Mask making a stringent...
Actually, the section that I am really looking forward to is the one on Great Forks. For some reason the city of temples really caught a hold of my imagination. The Horse Lords should be cool too. I’ve always wanted to see some more detail on them.
I still say that he is like Clint Eastwood’s characters in the early spaghetti westernsâ€â€the ultimate unknowable, unnamed badass. The man too slick for a name to even stick to him.
This is how life is supposed to work. Get a good night’s sleep and the problem has been taken care of. Ok, maybe not, but alohahaha has nonetheless hit the nail on the head.
I still haven’t picked up the story teller’s book yet, but the 2nd ed. core book states specifically on page 332 that the Loom of Fate can be seen in the stars of Creation, and that the stars are a reflection of the Loom.
So…how to reconcile that and the stars and being...
I believe that the Sidereal’s book states that the stars in the sky acted as kind of a status display for the Loom of Fate, and was used by the Maidens to perform their tasks during the time that they lived on the Blessed Isle.
A theory: The US is the god of excellence. He and his fellow Celestines govern the dynamics of Creation and rule over the bedrock states of being that Creation’s reality rest upon: of being in motion, at rest, in conflict, of being aware (knowing), of ending, and changing (Luna). As...
