Simple as that, what are your favorite cities in Exalted?


Mine would be, Lord's Crossing, Imperial City, Lookshy, and Sijan, I've run extensively in all of these cities and they are my favorites.
 
I'm a big fan of Chiaroscuro.


Its a nice big port city with plenty to do. Unlike most of the Western Islands. I was always disappointed that WW didn't put out more interesting info on the West.
 
Well, me thinks that will be solved with the Western Direction Book. I hope it's good, because the West is the weakest Direction in my book...and I like pirates, but I need a little more to run off of.
 
I'm still gonna have to go with my classic favorite Nexus. It's got alot that can be done in it, and alot of freedom as long as you're not stupid about it. I started my group out in there, and they've used it as a central hub for their adventures since. The myriad groups there give them plenty of oppurtunity for new plotlines and such.
 
I'd have to go with Nexus and Great Forks.


Nexus is usually the hub where I start off the games, just because it has the largest population of any city in the area, with a thousand places to hide a plot.


And Great Forks is party central for those players with a penchant for the hedonistic side of life and a good place to thump down a zealot or two when they pop up in the group.
 
I've noted that, though I bet with the coming of these massively detailed Terrestrial Direction and Celestial Direction books coming out, we're going to have a slew of new favorite cities.
 
White Wall, Paragon, Larjyn, (though I haven't found any source material for it.) & Juche.


I wish they had more information on the West, I too really like pirates and would love to someday play in or run a pirate game.
 
Big fan of Nexus here.  You can literally do anything with that place.  I also like Sijan too.  It's the only nice place of death.  After that, Gem.  Those guys are fighters.

Man I wish I could have played in that game, the constant quotes and references have me aching for sky-pirate action!


I love Sijan, Gethamane and probably Icehome, though I've never had opportunity to run or play there. I just like it for the sky pirates.

You'd have loved it, I'm sure. Besides, now that I have Bastions, the North has some of my favorite places. The Hslanti are badass all around. I usually make them a bit more expansionalist and what not. I love their lands and cities. Pretty cool stuff. Hell, I've got tons of stories from that game, read my Vedette airship's flavor text to get an idea of what those ships went towards  :twisted:

...but Sijan is my favorite. Somehow everybody whos anybody ends up there. one way or another.
 
I've gotta say Gem, mainly because I never need to include in any military plan to conquer creation, all I gotta do is make sure I'm a long way away from it when whatever catastrophe its due to suffer from this time goes down.
