That would work too, however, that means only our characters and volunteers would be fighting. Which is fine, we would need them to see how desperate the fights would be otherwise.
Ah see this is where the "impulse magic"/miracle would come in. Although Peter would probably be doing most of the fighting. It would aslo show more proof of magic seeing our characters shooting random magic. As well as many of the people at the conference dying even with magic becuase they are...
It looked as though Peter used magic again and at the man who doubted magic no less. It was fascinating to see things appear like this. Although, something was strange with this spell whether it was intentional or not. Henry, however, was now distracted by everyone still there chanting "teach...
Henry wondered what Peter was going to do now. Peter jumps to the lake and disappeares into the water. Henry thought he heard english words, but couldn't make them out especially with the way they echoed. A light started shining and became visible to everyone. Then all at once the ice titan...
We don't necessarily have to get into action yet. I just don't think we need to detail every step to learn how to cast spells. Also if every person on Earth, that wants to, can use magic now then we would probably have to learn pretty quickly.
Yes it would be easy to just make spells. However, our characters wouldn't know how to do that in the beginning. I'm guessing we'll be going through the "school" to learn how to make spells and craft our own. No one, thrown into that situation, would know how to just do magic if they have never...
I like your magic system. However, unless we get mentors I would think out characters would need to be able to cast "impulse magic." What I mean by that is using simple spells like shooting a single fire ball without invoking words. This impulse magic could stay throughout the entire RP or just...
Finally someone stepped onto the stage and the screen showed all of his outer features. He almost looks like he is about to go into battle. Then the man started talking and without a microphone! All the way in the back Henry could hear this man speaking as if he were right next to him. What is...
Henry and Nitro finally made it to the island. On their way they saw the very large bridge that had appeared out of nowhere. While on the ferry Henry had looked at Nitro, "guess we could have driven all the way. Oh well." They had arrived a bit late and were pretty far back. The stage was quite...
@Nyctophiliac yes that's fine.
@LaDyGrEy awesome!!
To both of you: Sorry for the very late reply, I have been working on the actual thread and other things. It should be up in the next few days at the rate I'm going.
The day had finally come and Henry had an unexplainable giddiness about him. He tried his best to hide it, but his dog Nitro was becoming excited too. Nitro was a yellow Labrador with a vague lightning bolt of silver fur on his back. The dog ran around and wanted to bark, but had been raised...
