Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse

She smiled as she spoke to the girl. She actually felt like a real person, mshe felt involved. She let out a small shreik as she felt the snow hit her head. She watched the girl run off, laughing at her and mocking her in a playful way. " Oh hoh hoh! " She laughed, mgrabbing the snowmoffnhernhead and turning it into a strong snow ball, following the girl in a chase, throwing it at her as it hit her shoulder. She bet over to pile more snow in her hands, mand continued to attack her. " Come back here!" She laughed out as she tossed snow at her, enjoying her time. This reminded her of her mother, mand she felt warm inside. She didn't see anything, or hear anything, and knew she was awake. She liked the feeling. She felt nor,al, like how she felt three months ago. She knew that it was a small thing for the girl to do, but it helped more than Naything she had tried. She felt herself smiling, and enjoyed that as she threw snow balls at her.

Tammy narrowed her eyes as she felt her anger mobe toward violence tammy was pushed back by miyuki as tammy recalled the last time she was punched in the stomach by miyuki during the hospital events that took place all that time ago.

Tammy didn't say anything she threw a punch into miyukis stomach in rage. "Don't fucking talk anymore!" Tammy yelled throwing everything she had into her punch. For miyuki being so much younger she sure had alot of nerve talking shit to someone who had about 15 pounds of muscle on her which for a girl was most likely more than miyuki possibly could have. The fact she told tammy she only got the others food wasn't the point the fact she didn't thank tammy for anyrhing she had done was what made her angry.she ate alot drank a lot but most importantly tammy contributed. She created the hydra in efforts to protect the others and learned more on firearms to be able to kill and survive. Tammy fucking prevented undead from coming close to their home. The place they called it that is. She watched miyuki flinch from the wind getting knocked out of her. 'I'm uncultured' Tammy thought. She was angry but miyukis comments to shut up made tammy realize she should keep her voice down. Her anger was showing and she probably made a mistake by punching the younger girl. But to late. Typical fucking tammy. She didn't apologize to her at the hospital so tammy had no bearing to apologize back.

She stood next to her hydra swayed it's heads in the gentle cool breeze. The teeth digging into the snow as the neck of the beast lured toward the air. She maintained control of her weapon. The one she learned to use fight with. The one she truly created from scratch. Tammy clenched her hands into the neck

Holliday lost focus for a moment as he got distracted by an object on a shelf. Six months ahead of time, and they were already stocking Christmas items. Maybe the world did need to end. Still it was nice to see a little something to keep his spirits up. Christmas was the one holiday which he truly enjoyed each year, and none had ever given it a damn second with of though since the apocalypse went down. A shame really.

"Yeah," Holliday said as he walked over, "Ill take care of it myself, you stay here. If I need help, Ill call." As he reached the door he heard some groaning coming inside. Damn, couldn't be easy for once. He calmed his thoughts, and in this state of peace, he began humming one of his favorite holiday songs.

He knocked five times on the door before kicking it in. There once it was open, Holliday could easily se there were five zeds inside. He raised his pistol and knife, and began to sing to the music in his head.

"Do you want to build a snowman, come on let's go and play," At the end of this line a zed lost his head.

"I never see you anymore, come out the door, It's like you've gone away," Three shots were fired and two zeds dropped dead. He only had two more rounds left. One of the two remaining zeds rushed him with suprising speed considering the temperature.

We used to be BEST. BUDDIES. BUT. NOW. WERE. NOT.," he repeatedly stabbed the thing as he hadn't much time to fire.

"I wish you'd just tell me why." he tossed the limp corpse to the side and stared at the remaing zed. It limped towards him and was almost completely rigged. Holliday had more than enough time to complete the verse.

"Do you want to build a snowman, It doesn't have to be a snowman, Okay Die." A sharp loud clasp echoed through the room. Holliday took a few deep breaths wearing from both the toll on his unhealed body and his lungs. He walked back over to the door to give Jen a message. "The store room is clear, Ill give it a seep in a second."

@Jennifer Shotain

Jennifer walked to the storage room after Holliday went in there. She heard the commotion and wasn't sure if he needed help. When she got there, she was met with the sight of him stabbing walkers and singing a song to it. Jennifer was unamused, to say the least.

"I'm right here," she said with irritation in her voice in response to Holiday calling out to her that he'd check the place soon.

"I heard all of this commotion, and I thought you needed backup, only to see this," she finished with a piqued sigh. "You get the back, check around, I'll go make sure we didn't miss anything in the store that was useful."

Turning around and walking back to another aisle, Jennifer looked threw it. It was mostly empty. When she looked up at a sign, it said it was the food aisle.

Of course this is empty...

There wasn't a thing left in the aisle to take back. Scavengers and looters had taken every last crumb of what was here. Continuing on, she went into the another aisle. She looked up at the sign, which read "Feminine and Family Care". This, of course, was also looted, which didn't surprise Jennifer. Continuing her way around the aisles, she made it a section that looked to have held various types of medication. The girl walked around the aisle, and grabbed a few small things that could come in handy. After that aisle, she walked around the store one more time, making sure they didn't leave anything. She saw nothing of value to grab. When she was done, she walked back to the storage room where Holiday was.

"Done yet," she asked him.

Austin had continued chopping wood until he'd heard the door crack open and watched as Nikole's canine companion walked out and sat nearby. Austin paused for a moment to catch his breath and eyed the dog, "You start barking and we'll have a problem pup." Not that he expected the dog to bark, it rarely did such a thing without some sort of meaning. It was a bit unnatural how obedient and aware it was to what the world had become, it was sort of creepy. With that he picked up the two pieces of split wood and tossed them in the slowly rising pile.

Not too long after Tori exited with Nikole and Austin rested a moment against the axe handle, then simply nodded when the older of the two explained what they were doing. Guess they had that talk then. The man glanced down at his furry companion and gave a low quick whistle to get the dogs attention and pointed at Nikole and Tori walking away, "Why don't you go keep your master company while they are out and about." Of course it was basically a 50/50 shot the dog would listen, he'd either ignore Austin or go bounding off after Nikole.

Minutes later, he was mid-swing when shouting from nearby caught his attention. "Now...who the hell?" He mumbled turning to look in the general direction, knowing one of the traps was pretty far out in that same direction he guessed it was Tammy and Miyuki. "Can't leave them alone for two damn minutes..." He grumbled, then with axe in hand started trudging towards the wooded area and voices. They were going to draw the attention of anything nearby, living or dead.

Holliday chuckled at Jen's annoyed response. It was a bit childish, sure, but he just needed to open up every now and then. He'd seen a lot since the damned undead had risen, had lost a lot too. On top of that, he'd found a lot of dark places inside his being. There had been times when his actions would aghast any man of morals. To him, however, morals were a thing of the past. They had no place in survival of the fittest, and went against even the most basic fundamentals of Darwinism.

In many ways, Holliday was a downright monster. He'd extorted, killed, and tortured quite a few people in the past seven months. So, what had kept him human the entire time? Holliday had lay awake asking himself that every single night the past three months. When he'd lain on death's door in the hospital, he'd accepted his death, knowing he had full well deserved it. Why had he been saved?

The only halfway decent answer he'd been able to come up with was that he hadn't been able to fully give up on emotion. He'd tired, and had done a damn good job at it, but in the end he had help if he could. Most of the time, he'd immediately distance himself the moment he wasn't needed, wearing a facade of someone who couldn't care. He had always been a loaner, but to say he never cared was not the truth. Maybe that was his saving grace.

He did as Jennifer had asked him to do and he looked through the storage room. They had lucked out, there was charcoal, bags of it. With it they could create fires in the fireplace to keep them warm at night. There were also a few other a few odds and ends: a sack of potatoes, some AA batteries, and even a small bottle of whiskey. Holliday promptly set this into his inside coat pocket to keep it for later.

"Yeah," he called out to answer Jen, "there is a good sized load of coal over here, probably two weeks worth. I guess folk weren't worried about staying warm back in the summer months. We can probably haul half of it now, and get the rest in a follow-up trip. Come help me load up a cart."

Holliday took a quick break as they were finishing the job. The two of them were alone, and he finally had the chance to talk to her. He'd been wanting to for several weeks but hadn't been able to find the chance. His hand reached up so that he could remove his shades. There reason he had always worn them was to keep people from looking directly into his eyes. They were often times cold and dark like a coming storm. This time however, he wished to look her directly in the eyes.

"It doesn't suit you, you know," though simple, he hoped that she knew what he was referring to. Ever since the hospital, she had been falling down the same slope that he had long ago. "That lack of feeling, it isn't you. I understand how you feel, better than most really. Back then, you didn't kill strictly for survival. It was partially out of hate, because you wanted to. You thought those men deserved to die, so you killed them. Worst off, I think you took some enjoyment from it. Im not blaming you because I am the same. Ive not one problem killing a man, and won't hesitate to do so. The thing is, I was no better than those men who we had attacked. I deserved death, just as much as they. You think that you might feel stronger, and there is truth in that. Just know that you aren't any better."

@Jennifer Shotain

As Holliday responded, Jennifer looked at what he had found. She noticed the charcoal, something that would come in real handy for the group in this cold winter. Heat was almost as invaluable as food and medicine at the current time in the year.

"Alright," Jennifer replied as she walked over to Holliday.

Holliday looked at her. She looked back, and then away, only to look back at him.

"The hell you looking at me like that for," she asked him.

Holliday proceeded by taking his sunglasses off before he spoke to her. It was rare for Holliday to not be wearing his shades. She knew this meant there was some talk coming up about her, a serious one. She only imagined where this was going.

"It doesn't suite you, you know," he simply started to her.

"Doesn't suite me? Then what the hell does," she fired back at him.

He continued.

Tombstone said:

"Do you even know what the hell happened back there at the hospital to me," she said, getting in his face, growing more and more frustrated. "You do you even have the smallest clue what the hell I saw, what the hell I did? Do you even know what happened in my life before the fucking dead rose from the grave? What about before I met you? Huh!? No, you don't. I never told a damned soul what happened. But that doesn't matter now."

Jennifer took a step back and got out of his face. She stared into his cold eyes, studying them momentarily before she decided to open her mouth again.

"I was weak before I was kidnapped. I was a pussy! I was always caring about, 'oh, the good people, worried that that group had good people there!' 'Oh, my. There are good people there who don't deserve their gruesome death!' But there I was, worried about morality! You know what I say now? Fuck morality! Fuck that stupid bullshit! If they're not part of our group, they might as well be the enemy, and I might as well kill them! I look to protect our group, because I do care about you all, whether or not you see it. I have no issue killing people now, not a damned bit. Especially if it means I can keep our group safe. Do I get enjoyment out of it? Yeah, I do enjoy killing the enemy. I'm not the 'good moral seeker' bullshitter I was. I'm a goddamned survivor who has had a shitty life before and after the dead came walking this damned rock we live on."

She again stopped and started pacing around in front of Holliday. She was infuriated this was brought up. She felt it was ignorant of Holliday to say that when he had no what she had gone through her entire life. She wasn't holding back anymore, she was letting him have it.

"You sit there like you almost know me what I've gone through in my life. Do you know what happened to my brother? Huh!? No, because I never told you about him. He was my best friend I ever had! We would do everything together. I watched him die when he was six, SIX, from brain eating amoeba. I was nine years old. Do you know what it's like to watch your brother and best friend die a painful death when you are fucking nine!? Oh, that's only the start of my fucking life! Next, my father starts to drink, heavily. He loses his damn job. And then we're forced to move from our perfect house in Texas to that shitty town back in Ohio. And of course, it doesn't end there. My father became physically and emotionally abusive to my mother and I from the drinking! He lost more jobs and almost got to jail before he saw he needed rehab with a fucking deal with the police."

She paused for a brief second to catch her breath before continuing.

"And of course, then I get an entrovirus that caused fucking myocarditis. You know what that is? Inflammation of the heart, and hence my heart transplant. Oh and poor little Jennifer had a tough recovery afterwards! Go figure with my fucking life. Then, of course, the world goes to shit. Early on, when things were bad enough that government fell, the neighbors and my family banded together, and helped each other. Then on comes the Disciples, these group of fuckers led by a guy who thinks he is the 'Christ' of this apocalypse, and that he is here to 'show us the light' in this new world. Here he comes along, stumbles on our group, and demands we give him half of the supplies we get, and that they would be back every week to collect it. We had no choice but to do so! But after tensions grew, we stopped supplying them. They came and killed one of our people, warning us we would all die if we didn't give them the supplies. We retaliate the next time and some of our group kills them. They retreat, and here comes along their Christ, surrounding our group and forcing us to our knees. He told us what would happen, and that if we didn't do as he said, he would kill all of us, except me. Nope, he had a fascination with me. The fucker had some weird sexual desire for me. When he was gone, our group got together. We were trying to figure out what to do. He came back everyday and got increasingly worse with me. Touching me, groping me. My parents didn't have it, nor did I. I tried to fight back, but when I did, and my father tried to do something, you know what he did? Shot him a bunch of times, riddled him with bullet holes, but enough that it wasn't fatal. He was going to have his way with me when we finally fought back. We didn't give supplies, and he was there with his group. A fight occurs, and I'm with my mother and father in our house. My dad has his gun ready and is shooting. He told us to run out the back and that he would meet us in a specific location. We run, and when we do, they storm into the house. We saw through the window my dad get brutally killed. My mom screamed, and next thing I know, she gets jumped on and bit by a walker. She tells me to run, and pushes me away. I watched her die as I ran away."

Jennifer regained her composure for a minute. The story wasn't even done that she had to tell. Her anger was fueling her.

"Those assholes, the Disciples, they're looking for me, because their 'savior' wants his way with me. Now, let's cut to the hospital! I get kidnapped, shot, beaten to unconsciousness. Then I wake up, strapped to a bed, getting beat. Guy comes in, talks to me, I don't answer, starts cutting me open. He then has a nurse he kept hostage there stitch me up, only for the asshole who kidnapped me to come in and try to get his way with me. The nurse tries to stop him, and he attacks her. She slipped me a small bladed weapon beforehand and loosened my restraints. She shook her head to tell me not to save her. Then, when that fucker is done with her, he tries to come and rape me. I kill him, and you sure as hell bet I enjoyed brutally killing this fucker. Then later on, after I'm found, I find the rest of the nurses, all dead and holding hands in a circle, except one, barely alive. She pleaded with me not to kill her, but I had to, and did. I killed those fuckers there because they deserved it. I've done more after that hospital attack, but I don't want to go into it now. This world, it eventually catches up to us. It caught up to me. It made me stronger. After all of that terrible shit I went through, I finally changed to be who I should be. I like who I am now. I'm not some stupid fucking moral seeking pussy who is too afraid to do what they have to to survive in this world! The events at that hospital made me stronger. So next time you try and sit there and act like you know me, and what does and doesn't suit me, and that I shouldn't be a certain way, think twice. Because now you have a general idea of what my life has had to be."

Amidst the anger and yelling, tears slipped out. This wasn't normal for her now. She didn't get sad or happy. She was only angry or indifferent. She might be far gone, but she still had memories that made her tear up, even in the current state of mind she is in. It brought back too many memories that she did hold near and dear to her heart.

"Congratulations, Holliday. You officially know more about me than anyone else does," she said, peering into his eyes, wiping the tears away, but anger still in her stance, facial expression, and tone.

Miyuki doubles over as she feels a hard force hit her in her stomach, feeling all of the air inside her escape her lips as she gasps. She tries not to go down to the ground as she knew that it would show her as weak, and she didn't want to go down to Tammy just on a punch alone. She looks up at Tammy, fire in her eyes, "Did this woman just hit me?.....Miyuki control yourself.....she isn't worth the blow...fuck it..." Miyuki swings her legs around and knocks Tammy down into the snow as Miyuki picks herself up and stands up straight as it hurt like a bitch, "Yep, there is going to be a huge bruise." She looks down at Tammy, "Well, now that you are feeling better, will you shut up before you draw unwanted attention." Miyuki says as she still tries to catch her breath. She looks over her shoulder and sees Austin walking up to them. She sighs as she knew that he watched the whole thing, "Aren't you sick? Why are you outdoors?"

@tammynorthland @Crono

Tammy felt the sweep of the feet from Miyuki knock her on her ass as the snow cushioned her fall, the snow was soft and relatively thicker than it was due to the large snowfall they received throughout the weeks. Tammy leaned toward her hydra and used it to lever herself back up. She did however take noticed to Austin.... he was watching them and Tammy was kind of, well....surprised he didnt do anything. But Tammy did give her what she deserved with her blow from the hospital and for today that was enough for Tammy. Tammy glanced back as a single deer made its way into the meadow of the manors land out in the front. It had to be only 30 yards to 50 from both of them. Tammy grew quiet for once and looked for miyukis bow in the thick snow. She saw the handle and picked it up. "you a bitch for knocking me down..... but if you shoot that deer and give me- us- dinner for tonight ill help prepare it and all us even..." Tammy crouched low to the ground. She hadnt seen a deer in most likely 10 days. She didnt know how to hunt. or even kill with long weapons. apart from her basic firearm training Holliday gave her over the last 2 months she was still much better getting involved hand to hand. Or with Hydras help much better.

Tammy nudged Miyukis knee with her free hand, " can we have a deal?"

@Crono @KathleneWilliams2121

Holliday didn't move the entire time that Jennifer spoke. He just stood there, and solemnly took in each and every word. His mind latched around every little key detail and aspect. Jennifer was a person he wanted to understand, this was the only way he could do it. Once she was done talking, he closed his eyes.

"I was at the hospital," he finally said in a low and slow voice, "long before the others, hours even. I went to see if I could find out your status. I ended up taking down their forward scout, a sniper. He had a radio, and I listened for hours on end about the activity inside. I heard some details about what that Redman did, about the disciples to a little extent. Had there been any chance of success, I'd have stormed the damn place right then. The group failed you that night, myself in particular. Im usually good at staying alert, but I got caught up in the politics. I won't even ask you to forgive me, I know that I couldn't."

He took off his hat and ran his fingers through his hair. "Im no therapist, but I know it helps to talk. Im not trying to chastise your choice, Id be a liar and a hypocrite if I was. The group, they don't look at you the same anymore. We care for you, and everyone knows that you feel the same, but there is a growing divide. It's hard to see now, but give it time. A month? A year? Eventually your indifference will isolate you. Those tears there, those are what make you human. It's the will to do what needs to be done that makes a person stronger, not ignoring the world. There is a fundamental difference. If you would realize that, you could be the strongest of us all."

"I have killed 25 men since this whole affair started. I don't know what it was like to have your best friend die, sorry. I was the kid who never had any real friends, maybe one or two who eventually left me. In the end only one other person cared for me and she....,"

"We fled south from Las Vegas into Arizona. If you think it's bad over here than you have no idea. The border states were a battlefield. Damned Cartel, you have to understand that they are organizations with great resources, specialize in low key operations, and had extensive networks, the apocalypse was paradise for them. They controlled everything, when the governments failed, they were the ones with power. They took what they wanted and didn't give a damn. We were camped out in the desert, surviving on local game. My brother and i had agreed to meet at one our best hunting spots. Two weeks passed and he never made it. Amanda and I knew he was gone, he wasn't the type to not follow through on a promise."

"It was around that time we met the Lobos. They demanded everything or they would execute us. I laughed, told them they could try. It was my way of avoiding the fight. I should have been committed from the very start. They shot first, and my arrogance led to us getting pinned. Our only chance was escape, so we made a made dash to the truck. I arrived fine, she.... she was riddled with bullets. I drove probably 60 miles through rough desert, trying to get somewhere or find someone where she could be helped. It was useless, she told me to stop. I went over to try and help, she died in my arms."

"That night I killed the men who did it. Escaped nearly unharmed because I was one hundred percent committed. I had to flee the country I loved though, there was a whole army practically backing those men up. They had just been the scouts, I eventually made it to Ohio where I saved you."

"It was a long time before I felt much after that. I ran away from the world, tried smother any sense of emotion. But the more that I pretended to live in my own little world, the less i started caring about this one. I stopped paying attention, I got sloppy, and it nearly cost me my life."

"What I'm trying to say is that there is a happy medium to all of this. You don't have to be frigid to be strong, you just need to be willing to do what needs to be done. I agree we can't bother with moral in a kill or be killed world, but are emotions are important. Look, Ill leave it be for now, but if you ever need someone to talk to, you know where to find me."

Austin hadn't had to go far, passing a dozen or so trees before spotting the two getting physical. "I wish you'd both shut-up." He'd shot back at Miyuki who was only going to antagonize Tammy further. At Miyuki's question he simply rested the long handled axe on his shoulder, "It's a cold, I'm more than capable of chopping some damn wood." With the deer's presence the two seemed to have come to some sort of an agreement to stop yelling and hitting at one another like children. He let out a breath, not wanting to give the effort of telling them off or giving them some sort of speech. It was hard to remember that they were both still young, life experience wasn't exactly common among their group.

The man didn't want to stalk off and spook the dear so he simply stood patiently still, "Give it a shot." He told the younger of the two girls.

@tammynorthland @KathleneWilliams2121

With Jennifer's rant over, she took a deep breath in and tried to relax herself. She was still worked up from all of the emotion she had felt moments earlier. She watched as Holliday closed his eyes and began to talk.

Jennifer hadn't known that he had killed so many people. She didn't ever realize that. Holliday was rather hush-hush on his life before the world went to shit. He also explained his situation he had with his, what Jennifer assumed, girlfriend. Instead of being stone cold and heartless, she listened. And when Holliday stopped speaking, Jennifer found a wall and leaned against it. She fixed her hair from being in her eyes before she sighed.

"Looks like we both lost someone. I'm sorry," she said in a low voice.

"I never told anyone close to what I've told you," she stopped and rubbed her forehead, trying to relieve some stress. It was a normal thing she did when she was stressed, and she didn't know why.

"I'm sorry I went off on you," she apologized, though not showing so in her tone. "In this entire time we have been together as a group, no one ever knew what my past was. I feel the dirty looks I get and the split between members in the group over me. I don't care how they feel. I care about them. I care about you, I care about Tammy, I care about Austin, Nikole, Miyuki, Tiff, the kids, Tori, and even Jorik. I care about you all. Whether or not you agree with my methods or how I am, I'm not trying to hurt you guys. I won't. I care about you guys. You're family to me."

After darting her eyes around from anywhere but Holliday, Jennifer looked up at him and looked him in the eyes.

"I really do mean that. My family is all but dead. I've seen every single one of them die. I wanted to kill myself at points after my parents died. I felt no use being alive anymore. I never did do it, obviously."

Jennifer sighed again.

"I'm misunderstood. No one gets me. I don't ask that they do. But I care about those people. I've had my family die in front of me. I'm not going to let that happen again. Go ahead and disagree with me if you want. But if there's one thing you need to know, it's that my loyalty and heart lies with everyone in the group. I'm not going to change back to how people want me to be. This is who I am now. If they don't like it, then I'm sorry. But I'm who I am, and I plan on doing what it takes to defend this group."

As she finished her last sentence, she thought for a moment about what Holliday said about emotions.

"I don't have emotions anymore. I don't know what it's like to feel happy. I feel miserable everyday. I'm angry, agitated, and hostile. It's who I've become. I want to feel emotion. But I won't fake it. I won't fake emotions if I don't feel them. I see your point you're trying to make here, Holliday. But I'm not changing. This is just who I simply am."

With that, Jennifer took in a deep breath, and let it out before she was about to utter words that she herself feared would become a reality.

"But you listen to me, okay? If I ever do something where I am trying to kill or hurt members of our group, do what you need to to me to keep them safe."

There was some fear in the tone of her voice.

"And, I have one wish, Holliday. Don't let me get too far gone. I know I'm on a downward path. But don't let me get too far gone. And if I do, just do whatever you need to to keep yourself and the group safe from me."

Jennifer knew she was going downhill. She knew what she was becoming. But she always tried to ignore it, act as if it wasn't the case. Holiday's talk brought upon her some self reflection about her actions. She was able to pass through her rigid and angry self to see she was heading downwards. She didn't want to acknowledge it, but she knew she was on a path down. She trusted that Holliday and the rest of her group would stop her from doing so. But she still worried. She was able to see she can't control herself. She is full of anger. And that's all she feels.

"Come on," she said, unfolding her arms and walking to the charcoal. "Let's get this crap and get a moving on."

Miyuki looks over at Austin, who shot back her words right at her, "Of course he takes her side, of course no one is on my side." She then looks over and sees a deer. She smiles at it, as she hasn't seen a deer in....in fact, she has never saw a deer or at least in the wild. She then looks down at Tammy, who held her bow. She quickly grabs her bow, not wanting Tammy to have it as it was special to her. She sighs quietly as she pulls out an arrow, put it on the string and pull it back. "Ok Miyuki, it's just a simple shot." She looks at the deer and saw its brown eyes. She turns her head and lets go of the arrow, striking the deer in the neck. She doesn't look over at the deer as she turns around at Tammy and Austin, "There, all of the traps are good. I think I'm going to go back too the house to take watch again." She states as she picks up her quiver from the ground.

"Oh no you didn't!!" Tori declared her voice tinged with laughter, She spin on her heel half skidding in the snow when she felt the icy ball make contact with her shoulder. A wide grin covered her face and she watched Nikole while pretending to glare at the girl. "You shall regret" she stated allowing a ominous tone to enter her voice but the clear laughter in her eyes took any seriousness out of it. Tori reached down and scooped some snoe into her own hands, even as she felt the cold seeping into her fingers..she had forgotten her gloves, Oh well. She lifted her arm and launched one back at the kid managing to get her in the side. Tori giggled but didn't hang around to see how well her hit had been received she immediately began to make a stock pile of snowballs before pelting them toward Nikole in response to the girl's own attack on her. She was laughing so hard there was a near constant gust of foggy air in front of her from breathing and although it was freezing out here she could feel sweat beading on the back of her neck from the excursion. Tori was surprised to find she was having so much fun, A weight lifted she hadn't realized she was holding...but then again when was the last time she had just let go for afew moments and stopped worrying just to have fun? she couldn't remember, it had been a while even before everything in the world had turned to shit she had been so stressed with the company on the cusp of world success she had forgotten to act her age. "Come on! last one back into the house has to let the other bury them in the snow" Tori teased and threw one last snowball at Nikoles head before making a mad dash back the way they had come.

Fricka lightly looked into the last car she saw. There wasn't anything of interest. Angered, the girl slammed her fist on the roof of the car.

"Cholera! [Damnit!]" She exclaimed silently, feeling her stomach grumble. If she wouldn't find anyone or anything, she would starve to death. She did saw that the city was covered in white, puffy snow, which she could try to melt for water... but that might end up worse than she originally thought.

Pole decided to just move on, not realizing that the slam made some noticeable noise around her proximity.

The girl was just too desperate

She let out a squeal of joy and playful regret, jumping behind the tree, but just getting hit by the snow. She made a snow ball and leaned, throwing it as it hit the girls chest. She took cover again, and almost began to make a pile, getting ready for warfare. She didn't notice the girl was doing the same thing, and the two began to pelt snow balls at each other. She hit Tory multiple times, but was almost hit multiple times, which covered her clothes in frosting snow. She felt free, and happy. She ducked from a snow ball, and laughed at her, " Hah Mis- Mmoh!" A snow ball had come flying, and it hit her face. She saw the offender getting up and running away. She didn't want to get Burried in snow! She shook her head, getting the snow off and launching to her feet, mechanising after the girl. She was quite used to running in thick snow, so she caught up with the girl, mal most panting." You wanna play that game?" She chuckled, poking a tongue out playfully as she pushed her legs faster and more strongly. For a thin girl, she knew how to make use of her legs. She ran for the door, tripping as she opened it. She fell and sprawled face first on the floor, snow falling off her and on the floor with her. " Oohmp!" She breathed out, getting up and brushing herself off. She turned to tori. " Who won?" She panted, putting her hands on her hips.

@Lola Shimmer ( I'm really enjoying this scene, it's actually making me smile xD

Patch was minding his own business when he heard people. "Huh, HAVNT heard that in a long time.. " He spoke to himself. His voice was quite deep and scratchy, but it sounded like soft stroking to the ear with silk. He stood up, deciding to take a walk, looking for the people. He knew he probably shouldn't, but what if they were non hostle? That was a small chance. "ooh, bandits would be fun." He said to himself, grinning almost maniacally. He looked up at the snow covered canopy of the trees, mentoring the few as he walked. Zeds weren't the problem for him, they were easy to handle, especially in the cold

Patch kept on walking and waking, soon enough seeing the cottage. People seemed to be in it. He began to walk up, but noticed a dog. It looked big, so he crouched down, suss ing out the situation, seeing what he assumed the owner was, Austin, walk away. He tilted his head as he noticed the dog stopping in it's track, mand smelling the air, mslowly looking right at him. Then it walked to him, patch practically shit himself. He hid, in hoped the dog was stupid enough to leave, sadly, he was not.

The dog looked up at Austin, panting happily. When he got up,mthe dog began to walk eith him, but noticed a different.. Smell. Scent, mprobably. He stopped in his tracks and sniffed around, minding it and going toward it. Soon, the dog began to bark and bark and bark loudly, mal letting the people something was there, or someone. It snarled at him, before pushing its self in the bushes. There was some ruckus, but the dog could be seen pulling someone by their coat, forcing them out. The dog let go,and howled.

Patch looked down at the dog, seeing how small it was compared to him. He crouched down, grinning " Aww,my our so cute, calmed down cutie or else you might strain you- AGH FUCK!" As he was SPEKING, he was going to pet the dog, but it bit his hand, right on the side of his palm. And it began to pull. Patch yelped, trying to stand up the dog did not let him. Oh the agony of having a dog try to pull you away with its teeth sunk half an inch into your hand. The dog would just not let go, UNTILL someone name.

After slowly moving through the city, Fricka noticed something. A forest on the outskirts of the town, with enough shade to probably hold off the snow rains. Since she wouldn't meet anyone there {At least that's what she thought}, the Pole slowly walked into the forest area, with her butterfly knife in her hand, looking around with a bit of fright in her eyes

"H-hello?!" She called out quietly, since her stomach began grumbling more and more. She didn't like the looks of it, and, since her food has probably spoiled, she needed to find something to eat, or someone to help her.

Miyuki sighs as she hears a voice over by the manor, and it didn't sound familiar. "Shit," she mutters as she picks up her quiver and runs over to the manor. When she got close, she climbs up the trees so whoever was there wouldn't hear the sound of snow crushing under her feet. She looks down and sees the dog biting the man's hand. She jumps down in front of him, arrow pulled back on her bow and pointing at the man's chest as she looks over at the man, "Who the hell are you and why are you here?" She keeps her voice low. Usually she would help the man out, and offer him food and water, but after what took place a few months ago, she viewed strangers in a different light and with Tiffany and the babies inside the manor unprotected, well there was no telling what he would or could do. "Answer my question."

He bit his lip hard. Looking up at her, he coughed out. " I'm pAAatch!" He said, the dog obviously had a strong grip on him, and WOUDLNT let go. " So, cute dog and all but, OWW!" He coughed. " Why am I here? I heard arguing and was interested" he said, slowly sitting down, the dog still holding onto him, Patch didn't bother to pull as he didn't wish to rip his own flesh from the dogs mouth, so he let it be, crunching up his face and hand. A simple down WOUDLVE helped his situation. The blood trickled down the dogs mouth, falling into the snow. He looked over, but quickly looked away, training his eyes on the girl. He leaned on his free arm and tilted his head. " You look adorable from this angle." He said, looking at the arrow pointed right at his head " And so does your arrow, but I'd rather kiss you than he arrow.." He said, he wasn't lieing, but he was being mishevous. But, alas it depended on how she took it. He hoped he want a dead man, he still hasn't seen notebook yet.

Miyuki looks down at the man, "How can he be cocky? He has a bloody arrow pointing right at him," She thinks as she jumps down from where she was and holds the arrow right at his heart. "Adorable, but flattery won't get you anywhere in this world." She decided not to kill him just yet as she doesn't know if the group would want her to kill her. She looks down at the dog as she sees his teeth still in the guy's hand. Feeling that it was now useless she looks over at the dog, "Down, boy. He wont be using his hand for a while." She says as she continues to look at the guy wondering where the hell Tammy and Austin were, "Now, what do you want, you must have came here for a better reason then being curious of people arguing."

He looked as the arrow pointed at his chest, grinning. " Ofcorse, all girls would want the heart first, huh?" He did a fake flattered look. " As adorable as it is a might have to agree with Yu on that one pumpkin." He smirked at her, looking up, since he was sitting. The dog looked at Miyuki and did an annoyed growl, letting go and licking off the blood, staring at him. Patch almost instantly out his hand in the snow and let out a sigh of releif. " Thanks Pumpkin." He chuckled. He heard her question, shaking his head. " In all honestly. I came here because I heard action, I have no life, mtrust me. " he said. " I was already in the area too, so,just a heads up. Say, I'm Patch, nice to meet you." He chuckled.

Miyuki glares at him for a second, "This guy is not serious.......ok maybe he is....." Still having her arrow pointing at his chest still, "Hey don't look so flattered, you try something and I wont hesitate to shoot this arrow though your heart. As for my name, oddly enough it isn't Pumpkin. It's Miyuki." She stays on her toes with him, not sure honestly what to do, "Do you have anyone else with you?" She wanted to know if there was anyone who she should worry about, then again if he was lying......when Austin and Tammy get here, I should warn them just in case. She looks at Patch and his hand, "I wouldn't put it in the snow if I were you, it could get infected." She says simply.

" I How can I not be flattered when standing next to a person like you?" He said, Begining to stand up. He was standing up fully. He stood 6'4 , but the rest of his figure was hidden under clothes. He looked down at her, chuckling. " I think I like pumpkin much more, sweetheart." He said, laughing light heartedly as he slicked his hair back. " Anyone with me? No. Other than you, Ofcorse, which I don't mind," He said, shrugging lightly. " But no, I've been alone ever since shit hit the fan." He explained. He didn't look like he was lieing, but always, looks can be deceiving. " I'm guessing you have a group." He hummed, whiping his hand on his coat and taking out some bandages from his coat, bandaging his hand on the spot. Ofcorse he wasn't finished with attending to the wound, he was just doing this in case it tired to bleed some more.

After there snowy warfare had ceased and they were now in flat out running warfare Tori immediately regretted her decision. She wasn't the most fit person to begin with in the first place, In shape yes and she had always been skinny but fit was a whole other thing. She was already puffing for air less than halfway back, she was a computer geek for frick sake! she blinked when Nikole seemed to catch up on her from nowhere and cursed herself under her breath but she wasn't about to give up easily. The girl was a hares breadth in front of her and Tori pushed herself on even if it wasn't a good idea as her side started to ache. There was still a smile on the older woman's face though as her feet sank into the crunchy snow preventing her from going half as fast as she would like. When they reached the door and both of them practically though Nikole quite literally, fell through it she started to laugh even more. "I- i think you won" Tori admitted breathlessly..the girl had made a mere second before her but now her lungs burned for air and her side burned as if in revenge for her pushing it so far. Tori wrapped her arm around her waist and was really not looking forward to being buried in snow when she heard the sounds from outside. "Stay here" she warned all laughing instantly gone from her face and she ignored the pain in her side sliding her knife out of her boot she began to walk toward it warily. She didn't recognize the deeper voice and as she rounded the corner and seen Miyuki with an arrow pointed at someone the hair's on the back of her neck started to stand on end. She started to approach the pair though spoke up so Miyuki would know it was her. "We have a visitor?" she asked casually still walking toward them her knife gripped firmly in her hand and ready to use. @Dibbydoo @KathleneWilliams2121
