It took awhile, but soon Lucas could finally go to the apartment. She must have been done by now! Taking a deep breath, he entered it...it was covered in blood. Fresh blood. Luckily his backpack was still under the bed so he didn't have to look at it a lot, she wasn't there though. He was getting tired of chasing her around everywhere. Putting his pistol into his backpack, he put it on—her bag still in his arms. He couldn't just keep it. He placed it on 'her bed', taking out a note pad from the apartment desk and a pen from her bag. He quickly wrote down, 'I don't know where you are, Harmony. But I can't be *scribbled out* your companion if you keep running away. Still, I wouldn't feel right with your bag, so I'm giving it back. *scribbled out* I'm sorry.' After this, he placed her pen back in her bag—and left the apartment. Off into the street with unreadable emotions. Not sure where to go anymore.

Melina looked down at the cleaver in her hands then back up at Jack....what was all this about? He was apologising? This had to be a game or something, why would he give her that option...there was no way she'd help him get out of this, he had done too many horrible things but...she had never killed a human, well, a live human but even zombie wise she could count how many she killed with her fingers. She bit her lip nervously, a hesitant look in her eyes...the right thing to do was to kill him...right? Then he couldn't hurt anyone else, she tightened her grip on the cleaver, like she was going to lift it...but if she killed him, she'd be a murderer, no better than himself. A hypocrite...right? Her thoughts were so torn. She tried her hardest to hold onto her human morals in this new world but. It wasn't doing her any good here. With a shaky breath she lifted the cleaver. Just as her decision was made that was when the others arrived, pointing guns at jack. Melina quickly looked around at them all, clutching the cleaver in her hands.

Jack had a final moment to come to his senses when they were surrounded with guns. He growled and grabbed Melina's hand, twisting it to get her to drop the cleaver. He out his own knife to her neck and looked around. "Try anything and she gets it." He growled.

"PUT THE CLEAVER DOWN!!!" He yells holding a rifle at Melina

Melina let a gasp and dropped the cleaver as he twisted her hand, the cleaver making a loud clank noise as it hit the ground. Her body stiffening up as a knife was held to her neck. She looked to the others holding guns with a panicked expression.

Jack frowned when he said that he couldn't get aj back. "Fine then." He said snd pointed to Harmony. "Why not have her then, she could make quite a cute pet." He said sweet smile, still prodding Melina's throat with the knife.

"You won't possibly do-" she's intterupted by a push "Fine, we will take Melina" Marcus says. The other brothers look slightly in shock but don't say anything about it. "Wait wh-" she's gagged "I'm sorry" Marcus says before knocking her out

Jack smirked and kicked Melina over to them. "Thank you my good sirs!" He said picking up Harmony and slinging her over his shoulder. He waited for them to leave, not wanting to deal with the likes of them.

Melina looked at them "D-Dont, she's just a kid..." she said quietly. She wanted to save Harmony from this in the first place, that's why she took her place. But it was too late the already decided "H-How could you just trade her l-like that!" She said, as she was kicked over to them "D-Do you at least have a plan to get her back?! Her life and safety is just as important as mine if not more since she's a child!" She said in a panic. Yes, she was free now but she was riddled with the guilt of trading her freedom with someone else's.

Jack huffed and looked around. He was outnumbered and started counting his odds. He turned his head to the person behind him and smiled. He heald Harmony bridal style and ran into a different room. "ASTA LAVISTA!' He yelled and slammed the door shut, locking it from the inside and sitting harmony down. He heald a grenade and was ready to blow it if anyone tried to get in. "Harmony wake up." He said in a gentle tone.

Lucas noticed the church again in the distance, and felt drawn to it strangely. He had no business there, but...oh well, I'll just sit on the steps or something. Blankly staring into space, he sat down on the church steps. Sitting there as if waiting for a sign of what to do, his mind unconsciously wondered back to that girl.

I wake up. I look up at Jack and jump up a little before trying to calm. Panicking is going to get me killed.
