Avery backed up, a little scared, although his mask covered it up well. He turned around to face the hoard of zombies that had climbed onto the semi, with a gulp. He straightened up, and fought them hand-to-hand. One charged at him, only to be greeted by a spin kick, causing it to fall off the the semi. He elbowed another, causing it's rotted jaw to fall off, and he took out his axe, burying it in the zombie's exposed jaw area, killing it. He kicked another back, and snapped one's neck, before slamming it;s limp head on his knee, shattering it. The others began falling back with the rest of the zombies, and Avery fell back, exhausted.

As Jason took her spot, she went outside, killing left and right until all of the Biters were dead, and laying on the ground. Looking around at the scene, she sighed. So much death. The zombies, she felt no remorse about. But the wolves? A whole other story. And Keon...Keon.

Skylyn kept shooting making sure Amy, Avery, Jason, Kira and... Wait... Sky paused for a moment, what? Where was Keon?

She looked through her scope, not seeing him in sight. Her heart picked up pace and she finished off the rest of the zombies. "Where-" she stopped and her heart sank, "No."

Skylyn made sure that was the rest of them before rushing down the stairs into the yard inside of the gate, "Where's Keon?" she asked, trying to stay clam the nineteen year old failed. Not again, she wasn't going to lose a second brother... This wasn't happening...

She turned to face Skylyn. "Sky" she said quietly. "Keon...he didn't make it. He was crushed by an abnormal, and buried alive in a pile of bricks. We couldn't get there on time." Her voice was small, and it was obvious she was on the verge of breaking down herself.

Avery overheard the two talking, and his eyes widened. He took off his gas mask, and stared into the shattered lenses, only seeing Keon... The man who tried to save him time, and time again. A few tears rolled from his eyes, and onto the semi, as he openly wept, in silence

Jason whistles as snow walks up covered in zombie blood, he pets her "Good girl" he looks fine but looks drained.

In the pile of where Keon was buried it would start to move and shuffle and shake until a pale hand would shoot out and start twitching

Skylyn glared at Kira, "That's a fucking joke... Keon's not gone." she watched the woman, rage in her eyes. Sky could feel her eyes swelling, veins pulsing and she sucked in a small breath, "Is this some sort of sick joke?!" she asked, her voice raising a bit. A tear rolled down her cheek but she laughed it off before sniffling, "You bastards never give up on FAMILY!" she shouted, swinging her gun around her shoulder and pushed the gate door back open, running out into the street. Denial was something Skylyn faced, she feared the worst but hoped for a miracle.

She ran towards where Avery and Kira came from and followed where they must have left Keon, sticking a bullet into anything that moved.

Would you like to help with killing the thousands of zombies at the gate? that would be appreciated

She sighed. "I was going to save him, but he was safer where he was than me. If I tried, we would both be dead." She ran after her, jumping on her horse, and following. She saw the pile of bricks where he had been buried. "There!" She called, pointing at it. She raised her gun and shot the zombies, jumping off her horse and running over. She began tearing the bricks off of his body. "Keon. Come on, Keon. Please be alive."

Flesh blood covering their mouth the body of Keon could not be found only a big pile of guts and gore of a freshly dead body with keons tattered black trench coat,

When we find Keon

Avery would have joined the mourning, but he knew when he wasn't wanted, or where he didn't belong. He stood up, and began walking towards the gates, his mask slipping out of his hand as he walked. He accepted the fact that no one would thank him... He looked over to the trail of zombies he'd crushed, and sighed. He reached the gates soon, and walked down the road, back to the hotel, a 120 mile road, that he wanted to walk alone. He brutally attacked any zombies with his bare fists, and eventually came across the retreating hoard. Avery shuffled along behind them, alone.

Skylyn ran, tears streaming down her face as she came to a stop, staring at a pile of red adobe bricks. She watched three dead walkers pulling and chomping away, not even realizing that Sky was even there. She grabbed her gun crying she shot each zombie about eighteen times. She pushed the dead bodies away, only finding a black coat and she sucked in a breath, the body had no face and she picked up his gun. This wasn't happening... She threw the thing across the road and fell to her knees holding her face, "God damn it!" she screamed before breaking into sobs.

Avery heard her screams, and his eyes darted around, looking for where it came from. He looked down the road, and saw them... He turned from the hoard, and walked down the road towards them, his face blank, with tears streaming down it. He put his hand on Sky's shoulder, "I-It's okay..." He said, in a warm tone, not even believing himself.
