Yu-Gi-Oh - OCxOC

Jay was scared inside, but he looked at Vincent and smirked for the first time. He knew what Vincent meant, but what fun was it without a little taunting?

"I'm sorry, but what exactly is this issue?" Jay asked. Vincent's large friend, Derek, cracked his knuckles at that. He looked at Jay while sucking his lips in and hitting his palm with his fist. Jay was a little scared now and regretted saying what he did. Vincent was one story. Derek was another...

Vincent could feel his eye twitch. If there was one thing in the world Vincent hated the most, it was to be taunted at. "You know damn well what the issue is." The taller teen took a steep closer to Jay as he bit the inside of his cheek.

"It's about all the rumors concerning you and Acacia." Blue eyes burned into the teen as his fists balled up. "Now, I want to end that here and now."

Jay wasn't scared of Vincent. He was scared of Derek. He decided to be bold and step up, even though Derek would probably kick hisass. Jay also balled his hands into fists before stepping up. He wanted to say some choice words, but decided to bite his tongue.

"What are you gonna do about it? I don't think you'd be so tough without your bodyguard."

"I'm not a caveman, Wright." Vincent glared as he got closer, his blue eyes were burning with hate as he stared at Jay. "I want to have this settled by a partner duel."

Vincent looked over at Derek as he nodded at him. "Me and Derek against you and whoever you choose." The teen backed up lightly as he looked at the time. "You have until lunch to find a partner, if you can't then you'll face off against both of us."

Jay thought about for about zero seconds, before saying, "Deal." He observed Vincent and his bodyguard walk away, staring them down with intense eyes. Jay still didn't understand his hatred for Vincent. Something still wasn't right with him. Very few people got to Jay like this.

Crap, I need a partner, and fast. Jason thought. He then realized who his best option was. It was a certain girl with orange hair who's name was a plant.

(Time skip to lunch!)

(Alright! ^^)

Acacia had quickly agreed to be Jay's partner. She was mad at Vin for having made this rivalry with her friend. Acacia was going to give her cousin such an ear full when they went home.

Vincent and Derek were both outside as they waited on Wright and whoever he had chosen to be his worthless partner. If he even found one that is. The dark teen was smiling until he saw Jay walking towards them with Acacia in tow. "No." Vincent instantly objected to this duel the moment he say the worthless partner was his own cousin.

Jay was a bit offended for himself and Acacia at that comment. "Uh... Yes. You said it was my choice. Unless you're scared and want to forfeit now," Jay said mockingly. He gave Acacia a quick smile and looked at Vincent. Derek just stood to the side looking tough, but spoke up anyway.

"Come on dude, you make it sound like we're going to lose. Let's just duel and get it over with."

Acacia smiled back and crossed her own arms. "You gave him the choice and he choose me, Vin." The red head only shuffled her deck as she stared at Vincent. "Too scared we'll win?"

Vincent was grinding his teeth as he picked his deck up. "No, but if I have to teach you a lesson as well Acacia so be it." The dark haired teen only put a duel disc on his arm and handed one other to Derek. He tossed the other two over. "We won't lose."

Jay was actually impressed with the Duel Disc. They were cutting edge technology. He didn't have the money to afford one. Nonetheless, he was excited to use it and duel Vincent.

"Hey, Vincent, since you're so great and mighty, how about we put up a wager. We win, we keep these duel discs and you give me your best card. You win, Acacia and I both give over our strongest cards and I don't talk to Acacia anymore. We got a deal?" Jay was being rather gutsy, but he felt good about this battle. He knew it would go well. He just had a gut feeling.

Derek looked at Vincent with a somewhat worried look on his face. He didn't seem so confident now.

Vincent stared at his cousin as she inspected the duel disc with gleaming eyes. Damn it, the teen could never deny his cousin anything that she wanted. "Fine, it's a deal." Vincent's face was as cold as steel as he equipped the disc on.

Acacia looked away from the disc when she heard Jay's wager. She hadn't beaten her cousin in a duel yet! The red head looked a little worried, but placed a brave smile on her face. "To the victor goes the spoils!" Acacia shouted happily as she drew her cards. "Who goes first?"

"Hey, you guys can go first," Derek said without taking Vincent's opinion into account. "You'll need it."

Jay put on a smirk and smiled at his duel disk. In reality, he was trying to remember how tag duels worked. Alright, I go, then Derek goes, then Acacia goes, then Vincent goes. Easy enough.

"Remember, no discussing strategy," Derek shouted with his deep voice. Jay shot a smile over at Acacia and took his position. The cool thing about duel discs was that they created their own holographs. You didn't need to have a special duel field.

Jason drew his first five cards, plus his draw phase card. He had four monsters and one of each support type. Not a terrible draw.

"I summon a monster in face down defense position and place one card face down. I end my turn." Jay had a fairly simple plan. His face down was Armed Dragon LV.3 and his trap card was Call of the Haunted.

"My turn," Derek said. "I summon Giant Orc and attack your face down monster," Derek said. He destroyed Armed DragonLV3 with ease and sent it to the graveyard. "No use in playing it safe Wright. You don't stand a chance either way. I end my turn." Giant Orc was then switched to defense position after attacking.

Jay wasn't too worried. He smiled at Acacia again, but hoped that she didn't use his current face down card. He would need it for his next turn.

(I added how Giant Orc was switched to Defense Position. )

Vincent sighed as he looked at the defense position monster on the field. Derek was going to cost him the win, that much was easy to tell. The dark haired teen looked over at Acacia as she smiled and drew her card.

"My turn!" The excited red head looked at her cards, three monsters, one spell, and two traps. Not so bad as she got ready to summon her monster. "I summon Botanical Lion to the field and place two cards face down." Acacia had placed Bottomless Trap Hole and Wall of Thorns.

"Botanical Lion attack Giant Orc!" The giant flower lion easily destroyed the weak monster with no problems. Acacia smiled happily as she spoke. "Now, I end my turn!"

Vincent only looked at the two face down cards as he picked his next card. "I draw, and play Heavy Storm." The cards on the field were revealed and destroyed. "Now, I summon Strike Ninja and place one card face down." The card was Negate Attack. "Now, I end my turn."

Damn, Evan thought. He couldn't bring out Armed Dragon LV5 now, one of his heavy hitters.

"My turn, I draw!" Evan drew his next card and was happy to see the card Mystical Space Typhoon. "I activate Mystical Space Typhoon and destroy your face down!" Evan was happy to see it was Negate Attack. Vincent was the one trying to play defense. "Now I summon Luster Dragon! I attack Strike Ninja with Luster Dragon and then attack you directly with Botanical Lion!" The two powerful monsters attacked and inflicted significant damage. 2100 points of it. "I end my turn by laying down a face down!" The face down was the quick-play spell Shrink. One of Jay's better spells. Actually, his best spell.

"My turn, I draw!" Derek drew his seventh monster. "I summon Gene-Shaped Werewolf! Attack Botanical Lion!"

"Wait, I counter with the spell card Shrink! This cuts your attack power in half and makes your monster weaker than Botanical Lion!" Jay was proud of his move. He felt like it did good. That dealt 900 more damage to dumb and dumber. It was now Acacia's turn.

(8000 or 4000 LP?)

(8000)

Acacia smiled happily as she looked at the cleared field. "I draw!" The red head smiled happily as she thought about her next move. She had two monsters on the field now, 2800 points right now and the two had 5000 life points left.

"I summon Lonefire Blossom and activate it's special effect!" The weed like monster was shone but soon destroyed as Acacia chose her card to special summon. "With sacrificing Lonefire Blossom, I can now place Tytannial, Princess of Camellias onto the field!" The beautiful princess slowly grew onto the field as she stared at her opponents.

"We've lost." Vincent gave a clear statement as Acacia instructed all of the monsters to attack Vincent and Derek directly. "We won!" Acacia sounded so happy as she bounced a little.

Jay got a huge smile and ran over to Acacia, giving her a friendly hug. He looked back at Vincent and said, "Oh, I think you owe me a card now. Amayright?" Jay was overjoyed. He just showed up Vincent. Not to mention in front of the group of about a dozen people who had gathered around. Jay hadn't even noticed with all of the excitement.

"Nice job Acacia. I couldn't have won without you. We, couldn't have won without you."

Acacia blushed as she looked over at Jay and hugged back happily. "Yeah, but you were also a great help in the battle!" The red head was extremely happy about finally beating her cousin in a duel! This was such a huge accomplishment for Acacia, she finally had an amazing time doing it too!

Vincent kept his composure as he walked over to Jay slowly. A card in hand as he placed Dark Magician of Chaos into the teen's hand. "A deal's, a deal." The black haired boy soon walked over to Acacia and patted her on the head lightly. "Your skills saved his sorry ass from being whipped Acacia. Be proud."

Jay watched Vincent and smiled. He knew internally that it was Derek's idiocy that lost the duel for Vincent, but Jay didn't dare say it. He wanted to see Vincent bask in his loss. Jay then looked down at Dark Magician of Chaos, the card he had received. It had some crazy stats. Definitely a huge addition to Jay's deck, even if it wasn't a dragon.

Jay still decided against saying anything to Vincent. While he still felt something off with Vincent, he didn't want to get into a fist fight with Derek, so he kept his mouth shut.

(Time skip? I say we skip a few weeks this time. Perhaps a meeting at the card store? We can say that Jay and Acacia both got jobs.)

(Sure!)

Acacia had loved the praise her cousin gave her. It was nice, even tough he did it with just about everything she did. It was nice to ave finally beaten him. It wasn't long when the red head had applied for a job at a local card shop that she had gotten the job. It made Acacia glad, a way to send more stable amounts of money back home to her family.

It was her first day at work as she walked in. Acacia had to wear a uniform sadly as she wore a button down black shirt and black pants. It wasn't so bad, it was a little uncomfortable as she walked over to the counter.

Jay himself had applied (and got) for a job at a local diner. He was a dish-boy, but it was better than nothing. All he had to do was where boots and jeans. Fairly simple. He did know that Acacia was working in a card shop, so he decided to visit. Perhaps even see if they had any opening for their staff.

Jay finally had money too, so he planned on buying some cards. Hopefully some good cards. He entered the card shop and spotted Acacia's bright hair instantly. It was rather hard to miss.

"Hey Acacia, fancy meeting you here. I'm here to buy some cards. Any suggestions?" Jay asked instantly. He was rather quick with his words, a bad habit of his.

Acacia smiled brightly as she sweat dropped lightly. She didn't really catch any of what Jay just said. "Uh, can you repeat that but slower?" The red head smiled as she rested her chin in the palm of her hand.

Acacia only laughed as she opened the glass case and picked a card up. "If it was for a card, I recommend this one." The teen showed the Light and Darkness Dragon to Jay as she waited on a reply.

Jay was about to repeat what he said until he realized that Acacia was just messing with him. He chuchked himself and looked at the card. "How much does it cost!" Jason said, viewing the card from different angles.

Acacia smiled as she laughed a little. "Ten dollars." The red head could already tell that the shop was a bit of a rip off. However, she wouldn't say that aloud as she waited for Jay.

Jay had about fifty dollars in his pocket, what he planned on using to buy cards. He spotted a card behind Acacia after she relayed the price. It was another dragon card that Jay saw. It was in a display case alone.

"How about I pay $35 for his card and that Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. You can keep the change," Jason proposed. He had heard about REDMD. It was a rather famed card and was hard to find. Jay wasn't sure if it would still be there when he went back.

Acacia turned around as she grabbed the key from around her neck. "Sure!" Acacia unlocked the case and grabbed Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and rung it up. The red head soon placed them in a bag and held them out. "Here you go, Jay." Acacia smiled kindly as she took the money.

"Anything else you need?"

Jay decided to save his fifteen dollars and put it with the rest of his savings. "No thanks, but thanks for the help!" Jay was about to leave until he spotted a certain card. "How much is thatFiend of Flora?" Jason asked. He had fifteen dollars. Why not use it?

(Sorry for typos and no bold. I'm on my tablet now.)
