Fantasy Wonderland in Black and White

Ledora smiled as the lady acknowledged her appearance. "Oh, shoot! I hoped he wouldn't be there." She smirked at a cup of tea that was actually full. She walked to the tabled and took the cup by the handle. She looked at the Hatter, "May I?" She widened her eyes.

Hatter looked over at the fairy then around the table critically. "Sure, have a seat. There's one left, though I'm not expecting you yet. The invitation must have been lost with the witch's," he said and shrugged, dumping the tea out of his cup and into another. After repeating the motion several times the tea was back in its original cup and he sipped at it, ignore the looks that Hilda was probably giving him. She was very much like the Caterpillar in the way she talked, everything being so straight and hard to follow. "Chesh is fine, gone by now and probably painted again since this fake Queen likes deals. Chesh has riddles, I have games, the fake has deals, and we all have tea!" He cheered happily, throwing his hands up and flinging the teacup across the garden in the process. Picking up another he looked over at Hilda. "She doesn't know who she is, though she's called an Ophelia, Daughter Alice. She's the main player and must never be found by the spades."

"But I thought it was Alice that had come back?" Ledora sat on the high backed chair and sipped the tea. It tasted weirdly spicy. She put the cup back on the table and reached for the sugar chair which was stuffed with white crystals. She spooned a few scoops into her cup and then drunk, before spitting it back out again. "Hatter, are you aware that your sugar has somehow been replaced with, well, salt!" She looked positively confused.

"Alice's daughter?" Hilda placed her long fingers under Ophelia's chin and tilted the blonde girl's face upward, scrutinizing her. "The very same Alice that defeated the Red Queen?" Hilda paused, clicking her tongue. "Never met Alice face to face, though, I suppose I do see a resemblance." Hilda pulled her hand back, allowing her fingers to dance on the tabletop while her mind raced. "The Queen of Spades is after her life, is she?" She chuckled gleefully. "So that's why she wanted Cheshire out of her way."

"But do you really think that little girl can beat the Queen of Spades?" Hilda flicked her eyes at Ophelia, before fixing her gaze on the Hatter. "She doesn't look like much to me."

Hatter laughed. "Of course it hasn't been replaced! That's the salt for your tea, and if your tea would rather have sugar in it the cubes are over there," he said, pointing to a teapot full of sugar cubes. "Honestly, who's ever heard of salt cubes? That'd be mad!" Without looking, Hatter picked up a spoon and threw it at Hilda's head with perfect accuracy, sipping his own tea calmly before glancing up at Hilda and scolding her like one would to a small child. "No no, bad witch, that's not nice. Alice was merely a child like her own when she tumbled down to Wonderland, and this child is her child without a doubt. She has the same looking type eyes as Alice." Putting his cup down he leaned back so his chair was balanced on two legs, grinning at his guests. "The game is beginning, the fake had made the first move with the witch and the cat, now it's the child's turn. Hide-and-seek won't turn deadly, since Daughter Alice is the only one able to leave, but if they don't play nice together the game will end for everybody!" Hatter laughed, throwing his hands up and tumbling backwards, the chair falling and both him and the furniture landing on the ground.

Magnolia nodded politely standing up. "Indeed, this is where everything took place." She took once mor glance around, before standing up. "I must leave you now Autumn Princess, but for the time being your enemies will not be able to track or place you." She turned to look at the girl sympathizing for the dragon. "Poor thing it was not. It was a ruthless beast that killed anything and everything, and took pleasure in it, and cared not except for a little blood spill and a snack." Maggie responded in a harsh voice looking at the head. "Times are changing once more in Wonderland, Daughter of the Red Queen, there is a new savior amongst us, and you'd be best to know exactly where your Allegiance lies." Magnolia nodded curtly, and vanished with the wind, leaving the princess alone of the ruins of a battleground.

Arsenic sighed pulling away. "As much as I'd love to stay like this, we need to find Ace, and get to someone who knows what's going on here."

Isabelline smile sensually walking through the dungeons area looking at the Queen's trophies. "Hello Mouse, Dee, Dum, and Rabbit." She greeted as if they were old chums chatting over a cup of tea. "Wench." Mouse spat in response, while the twins stayed quiet. Rabbit, poor little Rabbit, was in the corner of his cell muttering about the time, being late, off with heads, and broken clocks. The poor thing had lost his mind from the deprivation of freedom, wide open spaces, and the sun.

Isabelline gave a toothy smile to Mouse. "Why thank you for the lovely insult Mouse." She bent down in front of he cell to give the mouse a wicked, and terrifying smile. She spoke in a patronizing tone, like a mother scolding a child. "Now as much as I'd love to insult you back -maybe poke out an eye like you did that poor animal so long ago- I have things to attend to. She smiled pleased with herself, and stood up leaving the prisoners shivering in fear behind her.

Duchess blushed slightly and nodded. "Yes, that sounds like a good plan... Maybe we should find the Caterpillar or the Hatter? They might know what's going on..." she said softly while biting her lip slightly. "And Ace? My cousin? He was with you when you came to rescue me wasn't he...?" she said while looking worried. "I hope he's alright... He should be alright... He can take care of himself..." she said softly while agreeing with herself.

---

Ace managed to escape the Queen's garden and evade her guards as he quietly makes his way to the Forest, sighing slightly while taking a small bit of the cake he had taken with him after having to shrink down to the size of a mouse basically. Now what was he suppose to do, He had no idea where the Daughter of Alice might be or is Duchess and Arsenic had made it out, he shook his head. No, Arsenic would protect Duchess with his life so of course they would have made it out. He sighed softly and shook his head. "I'm surprised I haven't lost my head yet..."

Arsenic nodded. "Let's just believe he's safe and head on our way." He made them both vanish and appear in The Wood. "Where should we go to? Caterpillar or Hatter?" He looked around at the grey forest.

Isabelline walked through a hidden doorway that could only be seen by her eyes. And two others who's names were not to be mentioned.

This was her chamber of things lost and found. It was also where she kept the Queen of Spade's prized possession. The thing Serena was certain would get the job done where her sister failed, if Alice ever chose to return to Wonderland. Isabelline looked at the creature with criticizing eyes. "You're not the biggest of the bunch, but you're also not the smallest, or even relatively small." She muttered to the creature inspecting it from all angles. "You are quite a terrifying beast though, and you most certainly do look like you could finish this Ophelia girl off. But that means nothing. If fate wants you to win, you shall win. If fate wants her to win, she shall win. I have to say though, I am quite glad I found you. You are a rare and exquisite creature, and I'm excited to see you battle." The creature let out a loud noise of aggravation. "Oh alright, alright." She tossed a large sack of meat to the beast and watched unaffected is it devoured everything whole.

Duchess bit her lip slightly, a habit she had begin to develop whenever she was around him, especially since he made her heart flip flop like a fish out of water. "Uhm.. How about the Hatter first since he's mostly likely the one to know... being the life of the party." she said with a soft smile up at him while starting to walk towards the Hatter's Grove.

Serena smiles with glee." What a brew it will be. The land is mine and the cat and witch are in my servitude."She says. Serena was very happy the creatures of Wonderland were crumbling and they didn't even know it. Serena went to sit on her throne a lemur brought her something. She pet him." Very well done. Enough to turn the other's into creatures such as your self. Very well Zepher" the queen was pleased as she looked at her prize. She clutched it in her hand.

Chesh had listened to her every word. He was spying on her. Yes his full color and looks were restored, but he was still under her command.for that he loathed her and the Witch. " oh the madness. " he drones to himself. He appeared in the graying forest. " oh how dull, how can I not be dull, when dull is how I feel."He mutters. He spots duchess the queens daughter with one of the twins. His grin grew wide again. "Oh dear me out of our tower I see."He says

Irish Ice Queen

Arsenic hooked his arm with Duchess'. "Alright, let's head to Hatter's Domain." He stopped when he heard the Chesh's voice. "Oh hello Chesh. Where have you been?" He asked curiously.

***************************************************

Isabelline left the dungeons and returned upstairs where The Queen of Spades sat stroking her pet. "Your pet is getting restless my lady. I can't keep him in my chambers much longer, or he will destroy everything." She announced curtsying. "So you've brought color to the Cheshire from what my eyes have seen?"

Duchess jumps a bit as she hears Chesh's voice. "Oh my! C-Chesh, your colours... ...you bargained with my mother I see... And hello to you too Chesh..." She said slightly while watching the sly cat, while holding the crook of Arsenic's arm lightly.

"Not bargained, more a trade. She bot disturb the Hatter and I work for her. I am technically a prisoner in my own color a bit maddening if you ask. Also rather not be a flying Lemurs dreadful creatures"He says watching her with a smile."so we escaped I see and off to see my dear friend the Hatter."He says chuckling" Hello Arsenic, been trapped in my own mind stupid witch trapped me for color" he says. He knew he wasn't supposed to say anything, but he couldn't stay silent.

Serena looked at her." Just a bit longer my dear Isabelline bring me up the Dee and dum I have something to give them."Serena says with a wicked smile. She was very excited about turning them into her little pets.

Irish Ice Queen

Arsenic raised an eyebrow continuing to walk. "That sounds absolutely dreadful Chesh. And hopefully you'll find a way out of the predicament you're in."

************************************************************

Isabelline nodded going down to the dungeons. "Dee, Dum. You have an audience with the queen." She unlocked their cell, and dragged them upstairs. "Here they are my lady."

Duchess gave a soft sigh. "I'm sure it must be so hard... Not being able to really be yourself when the others around you cannot... Being trapped in no fun at all you see... Especially by the colours I know..." She said with a sad smile as she walked with Arsenic and Chesh who was floating along. "And yes those Lemurs are quite dreadful aren't they... I never liked them... They scared me..."

"Lemurs seem a little better than those evil Dodos." Arsenic muttered at the thought of the annoying birds. He couldn't stand Dodos, almost as much as he couldn't stand the executioner. The executioner lived in the woods of Wonderland now, pestering animals and creatures constantly.

The cat smile even more." Do not dishearten my good Lady and sir for madness is what I deserve. Or is it madness who deserves me. For I am the Cheshire cat one and only. I will find away out of the dreadful color madness and we shall stand against the Queen. As we collide for it is foretold by the caterpillar. " the cat rambles madly.

.Serena smiles when they are brought to her. She looks at them and smiles. " When all is said and done, turn these two fat boys into flying Lemurs. "She says and casts her spell on them. They transformed into flying Lemurs. She laughed wickedly. " oh my pets how I do love these. Now fly my precious fly."She says she cackled loudly. " the girl will not suspect a thing."Serena said and smiles at Isabella." That is all for now dear.thank you. " She says

Irish Ice Queen

Duchess smiles a bit at the Cheshire cat's rhymes. "Oh how I love your rhymes Chesh... It's been too long... I think the last I heard of them was before the death of the Red Queen... Before my mother came into power..." She said softly and sighed slightly, her cheeks returning to their porcelain white again.

"Oh, I see." She reached for a jar that was full of cubes. She dolloped 4 into her cup and sipped. "We must find Chesh." She put the cup down. "I am afraid we simply cannot leave him in danger. She adjusted the flowers on her forehead.

Peony recoiled from the Jabberwocky when she heard from Magnolia the horrors it had done. She barely had time to ponder the Magnolia's mysterious words before said girl vanished. "Wait!" Peony cried, but it was far to late. Magnolia was gone. "Whatever am I supposed to do now?"

Peony glanced around at the desolate battlefield. There wasn't much to see except for some ruins and the dead corpse of her mother's pet. It was strange situation she found herself in. Peony had grown up hearing stories about Alice from the White Rabbit...though he hadn't really mentioned the Jabberwocky bit. She should hate Alice for playing a part in her mother's downfall. Yet she didn't, partly because she was never really close to her mother and partly because she'd heard many things from the White Rabbit of her mother's tyrannical nature. What would she do if she had she had to choose between her filiality towards her mother and her sense of justice? Peony didn't know. Fortunately, she was never put in situation to find out.

Slowly, the Autumn Princess began her descent down the checkered path, wondering what she might find.

----------------------------

Hilda caught the spoon thrown at her and scowled a the Hatter. "I don't find this situation particularly funny." She glanced once more at Orphelia, trying to see what the Hatter saw in her. It was strange to think that a little girl like her could defeat the Queen of Spades, but, Hilda supposed Hatter had a point. Alice had been a little girl as well. Hilda shrugged. "In any case, the girl will have many things to do before she can beat the Spade Queen...if she beats the Spade Queen. As for the Cheshire Cat, I don't think you need to to worry too much about him. He can handle himself...probably."

Hatter jumped up from the ground, leaving the toppled chair and simply taking another to sit in, picking up a teacup like he hadn't just flipped his chair and hisself over. "Chesh can take care of himself," he said to the fairy, completely ignoring Hilda. The witch was being rude and snooty, and Hatter didn't want to deal with her at the moment. "Of course she has many things to do before then," he finally said, deciding that he should answer Hilda. Plus, the it would be good for Ophelia to hear. "She has much.... Much muchiness. The Queen doesn't have much of the muchiness needed to win. But before any fights break out the tea needs to be finished. More party guests should be coming soon." He grinned happily and tossed his teacup away, getting another and filling this one with butter and sugar, dipping toast in it.

Ledora grimaced when Hatter crunched on the buttery, sugary piece of toast. "Still, do you not think we should do something-I don't know if you felt it too, but when Alice-" She coughed, "Ophelia entered Wonderland, there was a pretty big shift." She stood up, getting a little excited, "It has to mean something! What if she is like Alice, and she can save us from the Queen again?" She threw her hands in the air and spun.

Duchess reaches the outskirts of the Hatter's Grove with Arsenic. "I hope you do not mind if I intrude... As I was not invited but needed to feel a little mad... I wish to help defeat... My mother, the evil Black Queen... And help restore peace so that the White Queen may reign again..." She said softly while holding Arsenic's arm lightly. "Ah," Ledora span, "I am Ledora." She bowed. "You must know Hatter, and this is Hilda." She grinned and then whispered, "You'll get used to her." She twirled around again, "As for your offer, I would love to help, but we have another matter at hand-OH!" She became excited, "Maybe the New Alice can help you! Yes, yes that will be wonderful!" She giggled.

Hatter looked over at Duchess and Arsenic, grinning widely. "Ah, of course you can join. The party is just getting started, though he's not allowed if he does not wish to be mad," Hatter said and nodded at Arsenic before grabbing a teacup and filling it. Well, trying to. The cup had a hole in the bottom and all the tea ran through, filling a cup that was underneath the one he was trying to fill. "I can't stand all the straightness of common conversation. Hilda is bad enough, but she's not quite as bad as the smoking worm." He giggled and tossed the broken cup away. "Yes, that's a wonderful idea. Daughter Alice Ophelia can help. That must be why she was brought here," he mused aloud, stirring his tea with his finger absentmindedly.
