Fantasy Wonderland in Black and White

(Finally caught up!)

Ophelia was too confused. So much was going around her that she could process it. Much muchness? She didn't understand! "I um…" Ophelia cleared her throat. "I guess I'll do my best." She mumbled and took another sip from her tea. "Hatter can you please stop throwing those tea cups, some could step on it and hurt themselves.. As for the game you are talking about… Are there rules to it?" She questioned, hoping to find some answers somewhere. She wasn't made to fight so maybe she could find something in the rules that could help her. If the rules were going to make sense, she actually doubted that bit since nothing seemed to make sense in this world. This world was more confusing then her mother's stories.

Arsenic looked at Hatter amused. "Aren't we all mad here?" He asked sitting at a table a stirring a cup of tea. He was certain that there was salt in it but who cares? "I mean you're forever stuck at 6:00, AKA Tea Time because you upset time." He snickered referring to the Hatter's run in with the Red Queen, and how she had tried to chop off his head after his horrid singing.

Arsenic heard Ophelia's comment about Hatter throwing teacups, and lifted one up flinging it at her head in response. "There, Hatter's no longer throwing them."

Magnolia appeared next to Ophelia with a grim smile on her face. "Hello everyone, it's tea time as usual, correct?" She took a cup of tea and flung it at the Hatter's head. "Hatter where is the March Hare? Doesn't he typically have tea with you, or is he gone too?" She asked looking inside teapots -as if hoping the Dorm Mouse would suddenly appear in them. She filled a cup with sugar and liquid butter, grabbing a piece of toast and dunking it in it before taking a bite.

Duchess sighs softly while taking a seat and lightly sipping her tea. "It's a good guess to assume my mother has them captive... Especially since They all played a part in my aunt's downfall..." She said with a soft sigh before putting on a small smile. "But they can be freed... I believe I might know where they are... Since my mother had someone helping her keep order of all things lost and found..." She said softly while wrinkling her nose a bit at the salty tea.

Magnolia furred her eyebrows taking another bite of her toast, flinging a spare cup at Arsenic. "Brother, stop throwing teacups at Not Alice." She scolded, and turned to look at Duchess. "What do you mean by she has someone keeping order of Lost and Found things? Isn't there already a Lost and Found in Wonderland?" She asked confused, ducking as her twin launched a teacup at her head.

Duchess shook her head. "Not since she took over... She is a dark haired woman with a dark gaze... She has an evil dog who bit me once when I wandered to her room once..." she said and sighed softly, while rubbing her ankle lightly. "She... actually reminds me of you two slightly... But It might just be my mind playing tricks on me." she said and shook her head.

Serena had turned all her captives into her lemurs now. She smiled and looked at them." Oh you are wonderful looking I did a great job."She put them back in there cages except for the leader. With a snap of her fingers she disappeared in a puff of purple smoke. She reappeared outside the tea party. She walked through the gates and smiles petting her Lemurs.

" well well if it isn't the Hatter and the misfits, oh look Hilda is here to. Well isn't that just a treat my no good daughter and her what ever you are."Serena said with a smile. "I will have each and every one of you under my command and that girls head will be on a platter. "She grinned wickedly. " enjoy. "She says and with a blast of smoke she was gone.

Chesh had disappeared. He hid from the queen when She showed up when she was gone. He strolled on to the table."tick tock, clock is ticking and we are still just having tea." He says" how dreadful. "He says with a bored look.

Irish Ice Queen

Hatter frowned at Arsenic, ignoring the comments about him upsetting time. It wasn't really his fault, time shouldn't be so sensetive for crying out loud! When the Queen showed up and so rudely interuppted his party, he jumped out of his chair and threw a knife at her. Sadly she vanished again before the knife could touch her, but otherwise it would have hit right in her face. Huffing, Hatter straightened his hat and glared at Chesh, in no mood for the feline's riddles. "Time doesn't tick, not here," he said sullenly before sitting in his chair again, slowly stirring cold tea.

"Oh but the game you have to play to keep it from ticking will be such a delight. The Queens day is coming to pass and the girl will not last. For if she does not know who she is then the rebellion will crumble and we will all have our heads on a platter. "He says and stretched.

Irish Ice Queen

Magnolia sighed looking up at the sky. "We can't be like the Rabbit in this situation, there's no being late." She murmured twirling a teacup in her hands. She yelped when a grey dog bounded up beside her. "What is this? Who's is this mutt?" She whined standing on her chair to keep the dog at a distance. Magnolia was absolutely terrified of dogs.

Duchess gasped slightly as her mother appeared and stood up slightly as she stood in front of Ophelia to hide her from her mother's gaze. She relaxed slightly once she left. "...this has put me off my tea..." She said looking quite sad but put on a smile.

Maggie tried desperately to shoo the dog away as it tried to grab her slippers. "Agh! You stop that right now!" She yelped swatting at the thing. Arsenic sighed standing up and grabbing the dog by the collar. It growled angrily, but did not fight. "Mags, calm down. It's obviously not trying to hurt you-" "Yet." Isabelline added walking into the Tea Party. "I see everyone's here." She asked scanning the group. "Well, everyone but one..." She snapped her fingers transporting Peony next to her. "There you are. The last member of the Rebels." She greeted in amusement patting the girl on the shoulder.

Duchess' eyes widened slightly but said nothing as she bit her lip, surprised she didn't notice Ace was missing. "...Isabelline..." She said faintly while looking at her slightly.

Hatter smiled at Chesh, figuring that it was a game after all. And he for one loved games and despised losing. "Very well. A game to stop the ticking for the fake before the she stops the beating in everyone," he said in a cheerful tone, smiling and stacking plates on top of his tea cup for no reason besides boredom. When the woman appeared in his garden he frowned and looked at the gate. "How is it that no one uses the gate? It must feel so lonely and unwanted," he commented then tipped his hat to the woman and Peony. "Welcome. You're just in time for tea." Hatter said and gestured to the empty chairs at the table. He wasn't used to so many guests at a party and almost all the chairs were taken up by somebody.

Isabelline shook her head politely smiling. "I'll unfortunately have to decline today old friend. I have lots of work to do, and now much time to do it." She replied petting the ears of her dog. "Come Manson, we need to take of the beast, so it doesn't destroy my prized possessions." She walked out the gate turning around, "So your lovely gate no longer feels lonely Hatter" and vanished.

Peony blinked and looked around in confusion. She appeared to be in a garden of some sort...one with many people. How peculiar. The last she remembered was walking down an endless checkered path. Peony glanced up at the woman who had pat her on the shoulder. "Rebel?" Her attention was drawn away to a strange man with a tall hat who greeted them. She remembered she was extremely thirsty. "Oh, thank you! I would very much like some tea." Peony paused, then curtsied, introducing herself to everyone. "I'm Peony of Heart."

Hilda watched Isabelline leave, her eyes tracking the dark haired woman as she vanished. She wondered which side the Keeper of Knowledge was on. Probably no ones. Hilda stood up. "This party is getting too full for my liking so I think it's time I take my leave. After all, though I hold no fondness for the queen, I could hardly count as a rebel...isn't that right, Chesh?" Hilda smirked at the Cheshire Cat. "I'm glad to see that you've escaped her highness relatively unscathed, kitty,...though I suppose 'escape' isn't really the right word."

The witch cackled as she made her way to the garden's gate. What a strange gathering of people. She was surprised to see the twin doors of choice and acceptance joining the rebellion, seeing as they were born from the curse, but it didn't really matter to her. Hilda had already gotten her color back. "Thanks for the the tea, Hatter" though she hadn't really drank any, "If you ever need my services, you know where to find me. I always lend my magic for the right price." Before leaving Hilda turned to Orphelia. "This game has no rules, Daughter of Alice, and you can be sure the Queen of Spades won't be following any. Rules are a handicap you don't need. My advice: make sure to prepare yourself well before heading to Spade Castle."

Then, Hilda disappeared with a pop back to her colorful forest.

Ophelia crossed her arms over the table and lay down. "This is so confusing!" She groaned and shook her head. How her mother survived this place, she sure as hell didn't know.

(Sorry it's so short, good thing I checked again because I didn't get any notifications AGAIN -.-")

Duchess looked at the young girl and gave her a faint smile. "Well the rules are there aren't any rules... But your best bet to win is to go to the White Queen's Castle..." She said softly while sipping her tea.

Peony peered over to where a blonde girl in strange clothing laid against her arms, looking very dismal indeed. She went over and patted her on the shoulder. "There, there, ye shouldn't be sad," Peony said kindly, though she had no idea what was going on. "Tis a a tea party, is it not?" She glanced around at all the occupants at the table, surprised to find a face she recognized. "Duchess!" Peony cried happily, running over to give her cousin a hug. She hadn't seen Duchess since Aunt Serena locked her away in the Ivory tower. "How fares thee?"

Magnolia watched Peony with a strange sense of amusement, sitting back in her chair. "She's just full of positive thoughts and rainbows, now ain't she?" Arsenic whispered to his sister rubbing her back comfortingly. Maggie didn't respond scanning the area around the table. "That dog Senic...." She mumbled trying to unfog the thought in her head, but it just wouldn't clear up. "I know, I felt it too." He murmured sharing the same thoughtful look.

Duchess smiles a bit and hugs her back slightly. "I am alright... I fared alright during my... nights in the Ebony Towers... I had quite lovely company during the day sometimes.." she said softly with a bit of blush on her pale and fair skin. "Ace is doing well as well... From what I heard." she said softly while looking at her.

Peony blinked, sensing the hesitance in Duchess's answer, and looked up at the older girl. She had thought Duchess looked a little paler and skinnier than usual. Peony frowned. Aunt Serena must have gone mad if she sent sweet Duchess to the Ebony tower! She knew Duchess and Aunt Serena never got along well, but still...she'd heard horrid things about the Ebony Tower. Peony smiled when Duchess mentioned she had lovely company, her smile growing wider when she saw the blush on her cousin's face. She tried to remember their cousin Ace, vaguely recalling a blonde boy who used to play with them when they were children...before the dispute between the white and black queen.

"That's good to hear," Peony said. "I would very much like to see Ace again. Tis been quite a long time."

She took the seat next to Duchess, her eyes widening when she saw someone else she recognized. "Oh, Miss Magnolia! Thou art here as well?" Peony peered curiously over at the dour looking gentleman who was rubbing Magnolia's back. He sort of resembled Magnolia. Sort of. "Begging thy pardon, but, perchance art thee siblings?"

Duchess looked over at them, sipping her tea. "Yes they are... They are the Checkered Twins, Peony... Magnolia is the pure and makes people chose the right way... while... A-Arsenic is the lurking darkness and makes people chose the wrong way..." she said softly while describing Arsenic, looking down and letting her hair cascade down into her face. "I'm sure Ace is on his way here... He helped me escape and... I think he was going to help you... But people know him as... The Bringer of Death for some reason..." she said softly while sipping her tea quietly.

"Oh," Peony said, unsure how to reply. She finally understood the choice Magnolia had given her. To stay and be saved by Ace or to leave to a far off place. Peony frowned. But why was she brought back? And how had Ace become the Bringer of Death? Peony shook her head. "Tis a strange world we're living in."
