Just took melatonin so I’ll probably be knocked out cold in a few minutes or so. I won’t reply until tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow early morning it just depends lol. See you all tomorrow.

Hey, everyone, can I get your opinion: am I in the wrong timezone to be in this RP? More than half the posts are being made during the time I'm either in bed asleep or OUGHT to be in bed asleep to be functional next day (not being dramatic, just statistical, I counted because I woke up to nine new posts and suspected that there may be an issue and wanted to raise it earlier rather than later). I'm concerned that either I'll end up getting frustrated and feeling excluded even though there is no deliberate desire for that to happen, because I'm not awake posting to include my characters in the scenes and because I'd like to be able to respond to a post someone's made but the scene has ended or moved on too much by the time I read that post, or everyone else will get frustrated because they post once in something that includes one of my characters and then have to wait until next day to post again because I won't have responded until then.

What do other people think? Is there some way to minimise frustrations in the future due to this difference in timezone? Or is it better that I stop now before getting too deeply involved? I don't want to be demanding "Play with me!" and expecting everyone else to make concessions for that when it's just the one of me, so if there is a solution it needs to be one that suits everyone.

I think we're still in the new post excitement honeymoon stage, and posting will probably go down to a more manageable level soon. But, uh, as someone who's at work when a lot of posting happens, I think we could definitely work on making sure everyone has had a chance to reply before changing scenes/moving characters before people have had a chance to get replies in in general. It was incredibly confusing to read everything that happened while I was gone and realize that my character got moved around before *checks notes* a barely initiated conversation got to happen.

I don't think this is a timezone issue, I think it's a please be courteous and don't steamroll other people's characters because you're excited issue.

honestly I should be asleep when everyone is replying as well! I’ve stayed up the last couple of nights because of the excitement and being quarantined but once life starts to get back to normal we’ll both be in the same situation.

I agree. How about we limit the posting so that we all posts once per character and then wait for everyone else to respond once before responding again?

I’m probably younger than a lot of you all because I’m still in high school so I have a lot of time on my hands but yeah I can chill out with RP’s soon and I was also worried because I felt that people were leaving Quiddles out.

Ok guys! So it seems like we are all in agreement about waiting for others to post at least once (for each character) before moving on. This way no one gets left behind. Ive actually never had this problem before O.o

Thanks guys, you're great! I really appreciate that. ^3^

Okay so I’m from the uk so I’m Greenwich Standard time

Or maybe British Summertime? At least, I think I remember the clocks going forward, but frankly sometimes at the moment I don't know whether I'm coming or going so maybe I dreamed it. I just look at the phone or the computer, and both of them change themselves when the clock shift happens. Whichever it is, me too. Hey fellow UK-dweller! 👋

Aaand now I'm off to find enough braincells to post something. Might struggle, been a long two-and-a-half days, but that's all my shifts finished for the rest of the week now!

I’m from Colorado and so I’m Mountain Standard Time

...wow, wendy wendy , what were you doing posting at half past one in the morning? Where do you get your stamina from and can you bottle it and post me some, I'll pay cash!? ;)

HUGS!

Okee, just a littleish postie while I find my feet in the laaaaaarge scene there.

Edit: I've started copy-pasting the posts into a text document, so much easier to read. Does anyone know if there are more skins than the light and dark themes?

I’m not sure, I don’t think there are though. Also, I haven’t been responding to the RP yet cause I’m waiting for Griffin to respond lol.
