Why Me!?

Logan just rolled his eyes, ''Whatever princess. Start with your attitude.'' he said while standing up. ''To think that I will have to wake up seeing your face every single morning for the rest of my life..Just why..why does god hate me so much.'' he said annoyed and practically mumbling the end to himself. He picked up his school back and glanced at her, ''Anyway, Bye.'' he said boredly while exiting the italian sub.

Morgan frowned. Was she really that bad-looking to him? She held her head in her hands with a groan once he left. This was going to be incredibly difficult if he said stuff like that. Morgan stood from the table and left, getting in her car and driving home so that she could get some sleep and dream of a life where she could make her own decisions.

Logan, once again, fought with his father about the wedding, but this time he knew everything about it , How, when and where. He had slept furious and forgot to set his alarm. He dressed in a pretty casual attire consisting of a black T-shirt and a black pair of jeans. He ran to school not wanting to be late and went directly to his locker to shove his backpack in it. He managed to get to his classroom before the bell ringed and he sat at his desk next to Morgan. It was kind of awkward since they both knew now, he didn't quite know how to interact. He looked at her and then redirected his gaze to the front ''Morning..'' he said with no emotion whatsoever.

Unlike yesterday, Morgan wasn't jazzed about going to school. She wanted to stay curled up in her bed where her problems stood outside the door, but she knew that she had to get up. She glanced at Logan momentarily before turning her attention back to the front on the class. "Hi," she said curtly, her chin resting in her hand. Today was going to be interesting.

Once they were done with homeroom announcements, the students had about ten minutes of free time to chat before they had to head to class. Morgan had planned to sprint from her desk over to where some of her friends sat, but that plan flopped when Collin appeared in front of her. "Morning M," Collin said smoothly, leaning on the table with his elbows.

Morgan loved being called that. She smiled at Collin, an idea sprouting in her mind. "Heya Coll. Deja vu," she replied, looking up at him.

Collin laughed. "Yeah, I guess so. That being said, you probably know what I'm here for?"

"Actually, I was just about to come over and tell you that I'm free tonight. If you wanted to hang," Morgan mused, tapping her fingers against the desk.

His eyebrows raised. "Really?" Collin grinned. "I'll pick you up after practice, then," he said, then leaned in to kiss her on the lips.

Morgan knew that Logan was sitting right beside them, but right now she didn't really care. They weren't married yet; he probably wouldn't even get jealous. She didn't hesitate to kiss Collin back for a few moments before he broke away with a smile and returned to his seat.

Logan had slept all through Homeroom and only woke up when the teacher had announced free time. He straightened himself up and stretched to wake himself up as he glanced on his side. He noticed Collin and was about to greet him but his eyes were focused on Morgan. He just looked at him starting to talk to her all cozy, he had no idea they had something going on. Logan leaned on his chair looking around but actually listening to them chatting. He felt somehow played and could feel like she was doing it on purpose, he then sat his head on his hand and was surprised to hear her actually suggest a date tonight. He somehow felt a pinch and felt annoyed by it. He knew they weren't getting married any sooner, but why would she do this to Colin. Collin then leaned in and kissed her, Logan just looked the otherway feeling anger building up inside of him. Obviously she did that in purpose. He bit his inferior lips trying to control himself.

Collin sat back at his place with a wide grin, he looked around and spotted Logan and told him to come over. He didn't feel like it but deciding to put on a cool face, he walked to his desk and smiled. The guy just looked like he was the happiest man on earth, on the other hand, Logan felt like punching the light out of him. Tho, he knew that Collin had no idea of the arrangement. He couldn't blame him for it, Morgan was. They talked for a few minutes, him trying to act cool as if he hadn't noticed anything. He could see that Collin would occasionally glance at Morgan so did he but with a different kind of look.

Morgan was actually incredibly bubbly after school ended. After kissing Collin in homeroom, she felt a small amount of freedom and was excited about their date that night. Soccer practice flew by and like Collin had promised, he was there to pick her up. She waved at him, then swung by the locker room to shower and change into her outfit for the evening after drying her hair. They ended up going to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants, and then to his place to swim. He had a pool in his backyard, so they went swimming together before it got dark. And, because his parents weren't home, they pulled out a few drinks and drank on the steps of the pool, laughing together.

All day Morgan was grinning widely and was pretty absent minded, so was Collin. Logan felt completely left out and it infuriated him. He stayed after school since he had nothing to do better and saw Collin waiting for someone. Morgan had jumped in his car and he couldn't just not not do anything. He knew pretty much where they were going since the now date of his fiancee talked about it to him earlier during classroom. He walked towards the restaurant and pretty much sat on the far end, he saw Chelsey and decided to use her as an excuse in case he was found. He sat on the bench and could see everything from his place, he had completely ignored his blonde date and prefered looking at the two laughed out. It made him jealous, to the point where he lost appetite. As he saw both leaving he paid the bill and exited even if Chelsey hadn't finished, they had a little fight and it ended up with her leaving him with the middle finger. He continued following his two victims and they ended up being at Collin's house. He just chuckled at how stupid he looked like following them all the way, but inside of him, he felt like he couldn't just allow that and it pissed him off how she was all sweet towards that guy and a hard to get no change girl with him. He ended up sitting on at close bus stop, not really sure if he was waiting for them to finish whatever they were doing or going back home.

Once it started getting darker, Morgan was loaded with alcohol, but still somewhat sober. Collin wanted her to stay the night, but Morgan knew that if she didn't get home, her parents would be all over her case. She spent a few minutes kissing Collin goodbye, then put on her coverup on top of her suit and began walking home. She was stumbling along the sidewalk when she saw Logan sitting at a bus stop a few blocks from her destination. Morgan rubbed her eyes and pointed at Logan. "What are you doing sitting here like a hobo?" she slurred, hiccuping at the end of the sentence. Starting to lose balance, she stumbled over to the bus stop rail and leaned against it, laughing.

Logan just rolled his eyes, ''I would ask you the same, why are you so drunk?'' he asked, but he already knew the answer. God knows what they had done in the house. He walked over her and placed one of her arm around his shoulder, he couldn't just leave her like that and helped her walk to the bench. He could smell the alcohol from her mouth while she breathed close to him. He winced but shrugged it off. He sat on the bench and gave her space for her too seat to. ''Had fun?'' he asked sarcastically in annoyance. He didn't really want to hear the answer but asked anyways.

Morgan threw her hands up in the air. "So much fun. We had food, and we swam, and we had some drinks," she said with a goofy smile on her face. "Collin is hot, but he's not the most attractive guy in the school. There is one though." She scratched her head and leaned back against the seat with her eyes closed. Her thoughts were totally scrambled, and her filter was off. "What are you doing here?" Morgan asked.

The more she talked the more his mouth twitched in annoyance. He didn't want to tell her that he was basically spying on them because he felt jealous for who knows what reason and just felt like punching the guys face for kissing her. He was his friend but not when he got involved in his friend. He looked at her in her eyes, she did seem to have fun...more like a blast. He had never seen her having so much fun, and somehow he wanted to see this but being him the reason. He looked away, ''I was eating at the shopping mall not too far...'' he simply said not wanting to hear he talk about guys anymore. The bus was getting close and he stood up stretching himself and taking his bus pass out. He looked at her seating, ''Are you coming? or planning to sleep on the bench?''

Morgan blinked her eyes open and laughed. "No, silly. I got to go home..." she mumbled, scratching her forehead. Morgan stared at Logan for a few moments and said, "Why are you so attractive?" with a lazy smile. Her daze snapped when the bus drove up and she stood up from the bench slower than normal. "Let's go on a field trip!" she yelled, hopping onto the bus and sitting near the back. She hummed to herself for a few minutes of the ride before knocking out completely.

It wasn't the first time he heard a girl saying he was attractive, but somehow when she did, he slightly blushed and chuckled at her comment about going to a field trip. Maybe it's cause she's drunk..he thought walking behind her. He passed his bus pass and walked to the far end of the bus and sat next to Morgan. She had fallen asleep and it was quite cute, he even poked her cheek and she had made a smile still asleep. He chuckled and looked at street waiting for his stop. After a few minutes he arrived, but Morgan still sleeping he couldn't just leave her in the bus but he had no idea where she lived. He picked her up bridal style, making him groan in annoyance remembering that he was actually gonna have to hold her like that 23 months from now. He opened his door with his spare key, everyone was already asleep so he didn't have to justify himself and he walked to his room. He placed her in his queen bed. He sat next to her and smiled while looking at her face, maybe it won't be so bad..

It was rare for Morgan to experience a rude awakening, but after all the alcohol she had foolishly ingested the previous night, Morgan had a hard time waking up. Her head pounded with a headache, and her eyes were very sensitive to the light seeping through the windows and reflecting against the flat screen TV and- Morgan froze. She didn't have a TV in her room. She sat up abruptly, immediately regretting this because it only made her headache flare up and blur her vision. Groaning, Morgan rubbed her temples and tried to remember what had happened last night, and couldn't remember anything past swimming with Collin.

Once she felt slightly better, Morgan began to panic. She didn't know what had happened last night or where she was. She looked around for evidence to find out where she was, when she saw a picture of Logan with his friends on the wall. What the hell?

"Logan," she said, her voice raised lightly. She coughed, her throat dry. What had she done last night to get herself in Logan O'Leary's bed?

Logan had woken up a little earlier than usual, to take some advance he stepped in his shower once the water was warm enough and sighted in bliss at the pleasant tingle he felt at the water pattering on his skin. It was one of this moment where he had no care in the world, but obviously Morgan came in his mind. He washed his hair and body rapidly and walked out of the shower, wrapping the towel around his waist. He brushed his teeth and walked out of the washroom. Morgan was still sleeping when he decided to shower, but now that he was walking out, here she was looking confused as f*ck. He only smirked, ''Goodmorning,'' he said not caring that he was half naked in front of her.

Morgan gaped at Logan, and it was mostly because he had a smug expression on his face. He had a nice body, but Morgan's appreciation for his body was quickly replaced with disbelief and anger. "What the hell happened last night? I was drunk and you were at the bus stop… Holy s*** did you take advantage of me you asshole?" she growled. Morgan paled suddenly, knowing that when she was drunk, she had no filter and could've said some embarrassing things to Logan. "Did I say anything stupid? God, what the hell," she murmured, tossing herself back against the bed and covering her face with her hands.

'' I could of. You were so drunk when I found you.'' he said a little ticked off by the insult she so easily lashed at him, while he pulled out a pair of boxers from the drawer and clothes from his closet. Morgan seemed to be in a hate on herself session when he looked at her, '' Nothing happened.. Well with me nothing happened. Don't know if anything happened with blondy.'' he said annoyed with a hint of jealousy. He didn't want to admit that she would of done something with that guy. He was a better choice then him but he just simply hated the idea that the image that he created of her would be shattered by that simple act with another guy. He took some random clothes and walked towards his washroom to change.

Morgan released a sigh of relief, but tensed up at the mentioning of Collin. Guilt clouded her thoughts. "No, we didn't do anything. Not like that," she replied, shaking her head. "I shouldn't have done that. I can't get back together with Collin… Careless. Great job Morgan," she mumbled. As Logan went to change, Morgan realized how harsh she must have sounded accusing Logan of doing that to her. When he came back out, she winced and said, "Sorry. For lashing out at you. It was kind of b****y of me to assume that you would do that." Morgan looked at Logan. He saved her from sleeping on the streets and from doing something stupid, and the first thing she said to him was an accusation. She felt awful about it, and looked away and scratched the back of her neck.

Logan walked out with his new outfit, he only nodded at her excuses. He jumped on the bed next to her, there was still a little bit of time before school started. ''Nah..Don't worry, I would of if it was someone else.'' he said laughing mischievously. He started playing with a small pressure ball he had on his night table and through it in the air. ''You can check out my closet for anything..cause you kind of stink alcohol and it's pretty windy outside'' he said wincing but chuckling at the same time. The clothes wouldn't be to baggy since he wasn't very athletic and to add up he was barely half a head taller then her, In all honesty, it could fit her pretty well anything that was in his closest.

"Yeah, that's a good idea. Thanks," Morgan replied, grabbing some clothes that looked like they wouldn't swallow her and went into the washroom. She took a quick shower and put on one of Logan's regular shirts, which was gray and slightly baggy on her. Morgan rolled up the sleeves slightly so that the sleeve reached her mid bicep rather than her elbow. She grabbed some shorts that she had changed out of when she went swimming the previous night, and left her hair to dry in unruly waves. Feeling more refreshed, Morgan walked out and glanced at Logan. "Okay?" she asked about her makeshift outfit, hoping she didn't look stupid.

'' If the question is: Do I look stupid? no you don't. If it's:Is it pretty? Hum..not really.'' he said only glancing for a few seconds and laughing outloud because of his mean comment. He then threw his legs from the bed. He took a paper from his office and shoved it in his backpack ''Did you sign that paper for next week field trip to that national park?'' he asked throwing his backpack on his shoulder.

Morgan nodded, grabbing backpack and walking out the door with him. "Yeah, I turned that in yesterday morning before school started. If I didn't turn it in then, I would've forgotten about it," she said, running a hand through her damp hair to detangle it as they walked.

They walked to school and once they got to the date, they parted away. Logan didn't feel like wasting his time talking to anyone, lately he didn't even enjoy talking to anyone. All he was thinking about his miserable decisions and stuff imposed on him, oh how he hated his life right this moment. Today they had received a few marks from some exams, and he had done terrible in the class ranking, which didn't help him lighten up in the lease. He ended up skipping last period and sat under a tree near the training field. He gazed at the clouds and ended up dozing off.

Morgan struggled through the school day, and endured the long hours of endless listening without falling asleep once. She considered going to soccer practice, and decided to make an appearance despite how exhausted she felt. Her mind was clouded with so many thoughts that she thought her head was going to explode. She didn't do incredibly well in practice, and her coach could tell she wasn't at her best so she told her to go home. Morgan refused, and tried harder. She did better, but she was off.

Logan had woken up to the sound of whistle from the soccer coach. He watched silently as they trained and noticed that Morgan was completely off and not herself. It wasn't the first time he watched her here, he often came but with a different kind of goal. This time he just happened to be there and looked at them a few minutes. He saw the coach getting angry at her but still looking quite concerned, he let her go for the day and she walked back to the dressing room to shower probably. He stood back up not seeing why he should stay here any longer. He walked to the front gate and waited for her, but then he saw Colling running towards him. He didn't want to talk to him and so acted as if he hadn't seen him by walking, or more running when he wasn't in his view, and hide behind a car.
