Why Me!?

Though it was strange at first, Morgan ended up enjoying the closeness with Logan. The skin at her waist tingled where his hands touched them, and rather than experiencing the cold she felt earlier, she was much hotter. It was comfortable though, and she didn't mind when he pulled her closer. Morgan knew he did it simply for warmth, but she saw this as a moment where Logan showed his gentler side, something she didn't see often. It made her smile as she watched the rain. The calming setting made Morgan drowsy, and she ended up falling asleep listening to the sound of the rain and Logan's beating heart.

Logan felt himself nuzzling his nose in the crook of someone else. He didn't remember with who he was or how he ended up being there, but he was enjoying it very much. He slowly opened his eyes and spotted some freckles on the persons face, Freckles?? he thought. He didn't know anyone with freckles except..Morgan. At the sudden realization, he immediately retreated and looked at the girls face. Her eyelids were closed and her snozing was soft, almost very cute to his ears. She had nice traits and was drawn into them, he trailed his fingers over her traits finding it amusing how they were all so proportionate and nice. She had soft skin to add up, which only made it nicer at the touch. After a while, he poked her cheek. '' wake up Morgan.'' he said trying to be nice for once but she wasn't waking up.''Wake up I said!'' he repeated in a more annoyed tone. They had already wasted enough time and the sky had cleared up. Hopefully they wouldn't get in too much problems with the teachers.

Morgan's eyed opened slowly, a little startled by the light that was there to greet her. She rubbed her eyes as she remembered where she was and what exactly had happened before she had fallen asleep. Morgan turned and nearly flinched, because her face was suddenly dangerously close to Logan's. Blushing, Morgan turned away and allowed her hair to conceal her pink face. She was about to get up when she realized that his arms were still around her waist. Morgan glanced at Logan before she moved out of his arms and peered out to look at the sky. It had cleared up, and Morgan hoped that they didn't sleep for very long. "We better get going," Morgan muttered, taking the tank top she had taken off and slipped it back on. It had dried for the most part, but some parts of it were still damp. She stood up and looked down at Logan, waiting for him to do the same so they could try to sneak back into the group and avoid attention or trouble.

Logan had loosen his arms around her waist and stood back up stretching. He groan at the soreness of his muscle, sitting on the rock didn't feel that great after a while. He slipped in his T-shirt, most of it being dry, he was brainstorming any possible excuses that they could use to protected himself from the supervisors wrath. He walked out of the shelter and could finally see where they were. The natural path they had walked in was a few meters on the left, it surprised him that they hadn't seen it. He looked back at Morgan, '' I bet most of them think we f*cked in the forest.'' he said amused by it. He even laughed at his own statement walking towards the road.

Morgan laughed, a wry smile on her face. "Yeah, it's what most teenagers tend to do when they sneak away from class trips like that. I wouldn't be surprised if my friends peppered me with questions about having sex with you when we get back," Morgan said, knowing that would undoubtedly happen. Her friends were fairly predictable, and knew very well that there has always been tension between her and Logan. The only thing they were missing was the fact that their parents were forcing them into a situation they were trying to avoid.

Logan placed his hand behind his head finally reaching the road they were suppose to have taken in the first place. He glanced at Morgan occasionally, noticing how she walked, how her hair looked soft and.. basically everything he wouldn't care looking at. His cheek slightly turned pink and he looked straight ahead, he could see the yellow school bus not too far. He sighted and finally broke the silence that had been settled for a while, '' Say...what does your friend think of me?'' he asked out of curiosity. He wasn't very interesting on how people perceived him, but he was curious about Morgan's idea of him.

"Well, like nearly everyone else at the school, they think you're drop dead gorgeous. They also think you're probably really good in bed," Morgan admitted. It was true, too; her friends had noticed that she was hanging out with him more lately, and some had asked if they had hooked up yet. Morgan, of course, said no. Even though she's spent years denying all of these things, Morgan found herself silently agreeing with her friends. She glanced at Logan briefly before looking away at some trees. Morgan often didn't seek a guy out just for their looks or their ability to have a good night, but they were definitely contributing factors.

Logan snorted at the answer, '' They sure are right!'' he said laughing in agreement. He wasn't surprised by it, most of the girls ran after him to simply eat on the same lunch table or for team projects at school. It was kind of arrogant from his part to simply state it was true, but he believed so himself. He would confirm it everyday by just looking at the mirror and winking at himself. He finally stopped chuckling when he saw some teacher practically fuming, walking towards them. '' Oh boy... hope you thought of something.'' he said trying to find some safe escape route.

Morgan winced at the sight of one of their teachers with an angered expression on her face walk with purpose in their direction. "I'll handle it. This one actually likes me," she muttered to Logan with a smile before meeting the teacher in the middle away from Logan. "I'm so sorry, Mrs. Johnson. I was looking down one of the trails when I slipped on a rock and fell down the hill. I would've been lost for a lot longer if Logan hadn't found me. We found shelter during the storm, and waited it out so that we could find our way back. We didn't mean to get away from the group." She flashed an apologetic smile at her teacher, and was relieved when she nodded and just said that she was glad they were back safe and sound. As the teacher turned away, Morgan looked over her shoulder at Logan with a sly smile and gave him a thumb's up.

Logan was utterly surprised by how good it actually went, he petted Morgan's head '' Good job Wifey'' He said in admiration. He still didn't understand how Mrs. Johnson just gulped the excuse so easily, but was satisfied by how they had no punishment. He walked in the bus school, all of his boys shouting at how he just banged the soccer captain and he just lifted he just bowed at damn agreeing on what they said..knowing it wasn't true. He just found it amusing how it would just make his reputation better.

Morgan expected it when she stepped her foot onto the bus. Her friends swarmed her and chatter had filled the bus about her and Logan hooking up in the forest. Like she predicted to Logan moments ago, they were asking her how great it was and begging for details. Morgan lightly ignored most of the questions and tried to change the subject when one of her friends said, "Hey, M, you should totally go over there and kiss him. Make the boys get all excited." Her friend giggled like a school girl as she suggested this. Morgan looked back and saw Logan being teased by some of the guys about what happened in the forest. She grinned, thinking that maybe she could do it just for fun, to play the game Logan so often played.

After one last moment of thought, Morgan said, "What the hell," and stood from her seat, walking over to Logan. The guys quieted a little when she showed up, and all eyes were on her. She smirked, then looked at Logan for a second before leaning down and kissing him. It was slow at first, but Morgan added a bit of dramatic flair to get a reaction out of Logan. She made sure the kiss didn't last too long, and ended it by biting his lower lip lightly. She pulled away, and with one last smile to the rest of his friends, she strolled back over to her seat where her friends waited.

Logan was laughing and smirking at all the commotion the guys were doing. They were creating so many juicy scene based on nothing, which was so idiotic when he thought about it and so unrealistic. As if he could do it on some rock or trees, it was so stupid but he just found it funny how they seemed to enjoy this more than him. He sat next to one of his friend, the guys still teasing him about the disappearance when suddenly most of them stood silent. He was a bit surprised at first but realised it was because of Morgan in front of him. He thought she was about to hit him or something but as he was about to speak, she crashed her lips on his, moving them sensually, he had no time to react before she pulled out biting on his inferior lip. They were still burning from the touch and he simply looked at her sitting back at her seat so casually, that was more than sexy.

Saturday // 10:00 AM

Morgan had woken up happier than usual that morning. After what she did to Logan, Morgan felt more bold and even confident; she wasn't one to just kiss someone in public like that, but it sure felt good when she did. It was definitely worth it simply because of Logan's reaction. She was curious to see if he had any thoughts on that. Having the weekend off from work, Morgan made herself a cup of coffee and decided to wander over to Logan's house. His parents were surprisingly not home, and this allowed Morgan to slip through the back door and go to Logan's room. His bed wasn't made, and she could hear the shower running, confirming that Logan was still home. She plopped onto the bed and sat up against some of his pillows, crossing her ankles as she sipped her coffee and looked through her Instagram on her phone.

Logan had woken up with a stuffy nose and a pretty bad fever. Both his parents were out for some business meeting, so he ended up having to stay alone for the whole day. He hoped someone would just casually come pass and hang out with him for the day, but seeing how he felt, he would end up being some pretty bad company. He snorted feeling his nose too stuffed up and stood up from his bed. Because of the storm the previous day, he ended up catching a cold for the weekend, Fuck my life...he thought going to his shower. He walked to his shower and waited for the water to be warm enough, he stepped in feeling it patterning his skin. He thought about that pretty bold kiss, how she made it so short and sensual made him crave it more. He closed the shower, grabbing some towel from the hanger and wrapped it around him. He coughed a few times because of the cold hitting his naked chest. He walked out of the bathroom sneezing a few times and almost slipped on his own water, he looked up at Morgan sitting on his bed casually, '' What the living--ATCHOU!''

Morgan raised her eyebrows at Logan, who couldn't get a complete sentence out before he sneezed. He probably got sick from being out in the cold for so long; Morgan was lucky that she didn't get sick herself. She took a sip of her coffee and looked back down at her phone. "Morning sunshine," she mused, quirking her lips into a smirk.

Logan just rolled his eyes at the statement, '' Morning to you too WIFEY.'' he said emphasizing on the last part. He didn't care if she was there or not, she was the one who just barged in his territory, she just had to live with the consequences. He slipped a pair of boxers, while it was still around him, and walked facing her. She was on his side of the bed, which displised him. He slipped in between his covers pushing her with his feet and sat his head on the pillow, he was in no mood to chill around her. Tho, the kiss resurface and he only smirked at it. '' Fix me breakfast will ya.'' he kind of ordered

Morgan hummed in thought, and covered her mouth briefly to hide her smile. "You're cute when you think you can boss me around," she said sweetly with a menacing edge. In response to his order, Morgan simply remained sitting where she was, finishing her coffee and browsing the internet on her phone like she was waiting for something interesting to happen.

He simply nodded at her statement not caring what she said, yet feeling her somehow cheerful mood. He then broke into a serie of coughs and sipped on the rest of the water he had on his night table. He looked up at the ceiling feeling dizzy and too hot to keep the covers on, he kicked them out. He then looked at Morgan on her phone so casually, '' Why did you come by the way? and how did you even find a way in?..oh wait..how do you even know my house stalker?'' he asked out of boredom.

To be honest, Morgan wasn't entirely sure why she decided to come here. She didn't have to work at Starbucks until that night for a few hours, she could've occupied her time with dozens of other activities. Because Morgan didn't know the answer, she avoided the question and said, "I remember from when I came here after you had a freakout escape when Collin was in the parking lot."

Logan simply noded to her answer finding it pretty much plausible. He ran a hand through his hair thinking about what he could spend his day, he thought of many things but with Morgan here, that was practically impossible, but he didn't mind her too much. His trail of thoughts were cut when his stomach grumbled. He sat on the edge of the bed but he could feel dizziness and just decided to lay back on the bed, '' Too lazy..''

Morgan sighed, and locked her phone, getting up from the bed. She wasn't as entertained as she had hoped to be by Logan, and it was because of his cold that he was in such a bitter mood. Though she was tempted to leave, Morgan crossed her arms and tapped her foot against the floor. "I'll make you food. What do you want?" she said dryly.

Logan stood back up''Really!?'' he said enthusiastically, he was pretty happy since he had no idea how to actually cook, '' Hum I guess I'll take 2 sunny side up eggs with bacon on the side...ohoh, don't forget the cream cheese on the bagel and lets say some fruits.'' he said grinning. Usually he would of fixed himself two burned toast and eat it.

Morgan rolled her eyes as she turned to leave the room and make his food. She found his kitchen, and amazed at how large it was. Cooking was one of Morgan's favorite things to do, and also one of her specialties. After a few minutes of finding the materials necessary to make the eggs and bacon, Morgan got those dishes started while cutting up some fruit and pouring it into a small bowl. She toasted a bagel to a light gold color and spread some cream cheese on it, then put the eggs and a couple strips of bacon on a plate. Morgan put it all on a tray she found in the kitchen and walked back into Logan's room. She put it beside him and took one of his pieces of bacon before sitting on the edge of the bed, taking a bite out of the bacon.

Logan saw her take the bacon and took it back before she took a second bite on it, '' Mine!'' he said eat it in one bite. He sat back on the headboard with the trail on his legs. Everything looked so delicious, he was grateful that she had actually fixed it with so much 'love', he took his fork and knife about to start eating before glancing at her, '' How do I know you didn't put poison in there?'' he asked in a serious tone but he wasn't at all as he started eating on the eggs.

"That's for me to know and you to find out," Morgan mused, taking another piece of bacon off his plate and holding it out of reach so she could eat it herself. "And you're welcome," she ended rather bitterly, taking a bit of the bacon and looking out one of the windows in his room.
