Realistic or Modern Whiteout

"You can take first watch if you insist, then i will cover after you. The girls can rest tonight then we can develop a rotation after tonight. " Robert said as he spread out a blue sleeping bag behind the counter. He goes behind the counter one last time to search for medication and he somehow manages to find some Acetaminophen. "Wow i have struck gold." He said as he put the pack of drugs in his backpack. "Also we have to look for a portable stove. We can't be eating cold food with these cold conditions. Seems ironical right?"

"Yeah sure." Joseph said, before noticing the drug. "Wow, you really struck some gold." Joseph said, before looking back outside, keeping guard like always, lost in his thoughts. 'What life did I lead before this? Why did the world turn so cold? Who are these people really? Will this ever stop?' Joseph was broken from his train of thoughts by some snoring coming from Robert. Joseph just glared at Robert, before looking up at the moon to tell the time. From the looks of it, it was around midnight. He decided to wake Robert up at this point, and shook him gently. "Wake up, its your turn." Joseph whispered, trying not to wake the girls.

Robert woke up with a stir only to find Joseph face looking at him. "Jesus dude!!!!You scared the sleep out of me." He looked back and saw that the girls were still asleep. "Next time be gently okay?" He stood up and took his trusted MP-5 and went to the door. "Alright Joseph get some sleep il keep watch till morning. I really wish i had some coffee."

( OOC: @animefordaysXD why in the world did you make me someone that snores??? ('A')('A')('A')('A')('A')('A')('A')('A')('A'))

"Uhh right." Joseph just rolled his eyes at him before lying down. But for some god damn reason sleep refused to come to him. 'Cmon Joseph sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep UGH' Joseph tossed and turned for god knows how long before finally being able to sleep. But even then, he had a seies of nightmares and random visons. He finally woke up after a while. "7:30 am I guess." Joseph muttered before turning to the others. "So, now what?"

(Lol I just wanted to it was the easiest way to explain my text ( :P )( :P )( :P )( :P )(O:))(O:))(O:))(O:)))

Robert looks back and notices Joseph waking up. "Damn dude what were you dreaming of last night? You kept talking in your sleep like a madman." He said as he moved to him to help him up. "Whatever it was, im sorry dude." He sat at the counter and and looked at the roof.

"I really have no idea what to do now or where to go. I am starving!!"He takes out a can of beans and start to eat. "If i fart and it smells,i apologize."

"I was muttering in my sleep? Eh that's new." Joseph said, trying to steer the conversation off from the subject, as he pulled out some nuts. "Don't blame you for being hungry, just try not to fart in here." Joseph said, as he munched on his nuts.

Melia was grossed out by the way the two guys acted. She sat up and stretched, before she let out a yawn. She picked up her gun and put it where it always goes, and grabbed her knife. "Any of you skilled at giving haircuts?" She smiled and tossed her knife in the air, before catching it and standing up.

"Why, you wanna cut your hair or something?" Joseph asked, while putting the rest of the nuts back into his backpack. "Well, we should be good to go soon, unless you intend to make this out home or something?" Joseph asked Robert.

"Yes, it's getting way to long." She sighed before adding, "We should move south. It's only going to get colder." She started to pack up her things. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm not gonna wait around here to freeze to death..." Her voice trailed off as her memories of her sister returned to her. After she finished packing up all her things she got out her sharpie and changed the number of days it had been since she lost her. 499.

"What are you writing?" Joseph asked her, He vaguely remembered her telling Taylor something that was similar to that, but he failed to hear the conversation properly. "And yes, we should head south. If we are lucky, we might be able to catch an boat to Africa. Its the least effected by this." Joseph said.

Melia didn't like the thought of a boat, nowhere to run if things went bad. "Nothing really important." She sighed, putting her long hair into a bun. "Shall we get moving?" She put her beanie on her head. She wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible, she never liked staying in one place for to long ever since things got cold. "I'd like to try and find a Wal-mart or something. I lost my scarf a few days ago and I need a new one."

"You sure you wanna head over there? I'm sure a lot of gangs are probably gonna take the place as a HQ, so I'm against going to wal-mart." Jsoeph said, frowning.

"Well how long are you guys gonna stay here? I'm pretty fast, and good at being sneaky. I can make a quick run, and be back before you know it." She knew she could do it, but doubted that they would let her go. She needed to distance herself from the group, but she wanted them to trust her. She didn't even know if they'd be here when she got back. "Anything you guys want me to pick up?" She started to head for the back door.

"Wait. I'm heading with you. I won't bother you, I'll just keep you back safe." Joseph said, grabbing his gun and knife before following her out.

"I don't need your help." Melia said. It had pissed her off that he thought she did. She had made it this far with no one but herself. She didn't need anyone now. She started walking quicker, half hoping he'd turn around.

"Don't be stubborn. We'd all take some hits if you end up dying." Joseph said narrowing his eyes at her, while at the same time keeping up with her.

Joseph just rolled his eyes before following her, breaking into an light jog. Since he had some experience as an solider, he had extreme amounts of stamina. So he caught up to melia. "You forget that I have higher physical abilities then you." Joseph said, lazily jogging beside her.

"You know nothing about me." Melia was really pissed now. How could he say something so rude? He obviously didn't know her past. "I wouldn't be so rude to someone you just met." She replied, rolling her eyes at him. She could already tell they weren't going to get along. "You never know how strong they really are." She knew she could run way faster than she already was, and she knew she could run for a far longer time, but she wasn't about to set all of her cards out on the table.

Joseph was getting pissed. "You know nothing of my past either. What makes you so high and mighty compared to me? What exactly is stopping me from shooting you? I could easily shoot you in the back right now. But I am not. Because of something as small as trust. Yet why can't you trust someone for once?" Joseph hissed at her, pulling out his gun.

Melia stopped running and turned to Joseph, flinging her knife just past his head all in one motion. "That? Is called skill." She was now shaking she was so mad. "I could've killed all three of you when I first saw you, but I didn't. Did I?" She walked up to him, getting close to his face. "Don't you dare think for one second that you scare me." She was now only inches from him. "Maybe I thought I'd give you all a chance." She spat back at him. "Before I started talking to you, I actually trusted the girl." She backed up from him, gritting her teeth. She pulled out another knife and circled around him to pick up the one she had thrown.

Joseph. Was. Pissed. In fact, he was the most pissed he ever felt, as he loaded his gun and aimed for the head. "Trust? Since when did you 'trust' anyone. I should've shot you when I had the chance. Traitor." Joseph spat the last words out, before pulling out his utility knife. "And for that you will die." after he said that, he shot, narrowly missing the head.

Traitor? "If that's how you feel try your best." She smirked. The bullet only made her adrenaline start to pump faster. "But how am I a traitor?" The word itself only made her even more angry. "I simply wanted to prove to you that not everyone needed you." She picked up her knife, wiping it on her pants. She knew she could at least hurt Joseph. But she didn't want the others to be angry with her.

Joseph started to laugh. He laughed so hard that tears actually came down his cheeks. By the time he managed to say something, it was barely out. But he still managed to tell her something; "You ask why you are an traitor? You threw away our trust. I am not trying to help you. I was protecting my resource's. I trusted you. Yet, you threw it away, like garbage. And you ask why you are an traitor? You know what, do what you want, I don't care whether you die, get shot, or stabbed. I'm tired of you. Good bye." Joseph started to walk away, back towards the pharmacy.

As he turned to walk away Melia burst out laughing. After a moment she turned so their backs were to each other. "If you really trusted me you would've known I was going to miss on purpose. If I wanted to actually hit your skull with a knife, I could." She called back to him, yelling just loud enough for him to hear. "And you say I'm the one with trust issues?" She added under her breath. She smiled, satisfied with herself getting the last word. And she started to jog off again.
