Background

April was born and raised in Denver, Colorado with her parents, Demetri Simmons-Reyes and

Erik Reyes, and [younger] twin sister, May Reyes. Even as a child, April was an excellent singer, which paired

nicely with her sister's dancing ability. Both were encouraged greatly to pursue their interests. By age 12, the

girls were an unstoppable force of creativity and admitted into Denver's School of the Arts. Not wanting to split

up, they both chose Drama as a study focus. April didn't focus on academics as much as she did acting, unlike her

sister. In high school, April joined the journalism club on accident, but soon fell in love with it. She decided

to major in Journalism at University of Texas, where she interned for The Example and raised the ranks to co-

host.

Personality

April is a natural born leader, always looking for straight forward solutions to any

conflict she encounters. When she gets stressed, she definitely comes accross as bossy. She's such a hard-worker,

that sometimes she can't help but find herself looping between "Do what I say" and "Let's talk things out". That

being said, April still manages to [at least somewhat appear] to be chill and flexible. April loves to sing and

occasional shifts into a singsong tone if she lets herself get too comfortable.

For this RP, April is traveling to Houston, Texas to meet with possible investors. Nothing too extreme.
