Fantasy Whisper Wood (A fantasy adventure rp)

"Well, it seemed that way before hand, then I found out they had no Advil here. So I just want to go back to the modern world and a hospital." Lila tried to sit in a position that was comfertable for her leg, but she just ended up hurting it more. "Where did you take Scarlet anyway?"

Novah flew down from the skies and quickly shifted back to her human form just before she hit the ground. She hastily walked to the room the three newcomers were being held in and softly knocked on the door, poking her head inside. "A message was sent to me saying someone was hurt?" She questioned stepping through the door. Novah was an apprentice healer for the village and often went to the calls that required travel or visiting as her Mistress was getting old and preferred to stay in the little shop attached to her house selling various potions and remedies. She looked at the girl who seemed in obvious pain. "What exactly happed?" she asked so she could determine what she needed to do.

Lila lifted her forehead from the table. "I broke my leg on something, maybe a rock last night when we washed ashore." She grimaced, and let her face fall back onto the table.

(That's the additude, good sir!)

((Quick update: Damian is still questioning Scarlett, Seera came in said some things to Scarlett that made her question what the shifters are, Scarlett is trying to be good so she doesn't upset Damian. The queen expects to know who they are, where they are from, and why they have come.))

"Something for the hangover we all have would be nice" Dysis asked the one who just entered the room. Then she asked "And, do you where I could get my claw fixed?" Dysis then held up her right arm to show what she was talking about.

Damian watched Seera exit, and shut the door once again. He grunted softly, and turned his attention back toward Scarlett. The large male put his hands on the table, and stared straight at Scarlett. " so, you're human. Why have you come to our land?" He asked deeply, his crimson eyes not leaving her for a second. "Where are you and your subordinates from?"

Novah rushed over to look at the girl's leg. "She will need a split," she said adding some herbs to the tea. "Drink up, it will help with the pain." She didn't mention that it would also make her relaxed enough to say anything at all, this would also help to get information. "I will be back in a bit with supplies to make a splint," she said to the injured girl. "And you should also drink some tea if you're not feeling well," she soothingly said to the other girl. "I have no idea what that "claw" is but maybe Azure could fix it? She quite good at making things." With that she left the room heading to get supplies, but stopping to bring the girl with Damian some tea also. She quickly entered the room, "Some tea for her Damian," she said giving him a look not to drink it and hurried out.

-----

Scarlett looked at the tea cup, she could use a warm drink so she took a sip. It was good and she hadn't had anything since the night before so she quickly drank the rest of it. Almost instantly her head stopped pounding. She looked up at Damian who was looking right at her. "Of course I'm human aren't you? And I didn't mean to come to your land. I was partying with my friends on my boat and when we woke up we were here." Her head was feeling much better, in fact all of her was, she felt less afraid and actually wanted to answer his questions. "I don't have sub-subordinates," she replied, "We're not dangerous, I mean I can do a pretty good back flip or paint you a nice picture but that's where my skills end." She thought for a minute and then continued, "You're really hot you know," her hands shot up to cover her mouth. Did she just say that out loud?! She only meant to think it. Her face turned red and she really hoped she didn't piss him off.

Lila looked down at the amber liquid in front of her. She was contemplating weather (I know this is the wrong weather but I cant spell the other one, so sll grammer nazis out there, f**k off) or not to drink it. She leaned over to where Dysis was sitting. She whispered something into her ear. "Do you think they poisoned it? Should we drink it?"

Damian stood up straight as she answered his questions, he nodded slightly. "Well. What do you do at these, 'party'?" He asked, genuinely interested. When she called him 'hot' his eyes browse shot up. He watched her as she covered her mouth and her scent became an uneasy one. He shifted, "I feel room temperature." He responded, unsure of why she had commented on his body temperature.

Kalora noted down the things the three were saying. "Fascinating..." she said, her curiosity as a bard starting to slightly take over her duties as Spymaster. "Not only a different world, but a different time also..." She looked at the claw of one of the three. "And again... fascinating..."

She smiled lightly and took another sip from her own tea.

"And just how did you wash up here? Excuse me for the pun," she chuckled again. "Situations like this are an extremely rare occasion. To the point where many would deem it impossible. This is why we must be careful and learn as much about you as we can."

Could it truly be the stories weren't stories alone?

"Wait what?" she said realizing he didn't know what she meant. "It means attractive, you know; pretty, nice to look at," why was she telling him this? She wanted to keep her thoughts inside her head but she was having a hard time. "Ummm was there something in the tea I drank?" she asked understanding what was happening. She sighed and answered his other question, "Well at my party we were dancing and drinking, flirting, some people were hooking up, not me though I'm not really into that kind of thing," she babbled on wishing she could just answer the question simply instead to relaying her entire train of thought to this stranger.

"Fuck it. I'm just going to drink it. I'm probably going to die no matter what, and my parents won't care." She downed the tea, and her head stopped pounding. Her leg also felt better than before, but not like it was healed.

"We were on Scarlets boat, and someone had the idea to take the emergency life boat thing out to an island we could kind of see, it was really foggy out, the rest is kind of blurry, I was pretty hammered."

Kalora said nothing as Lila made the statement about her parents. She knew the feeling too well, unfortunately, but she didn't plan on showing that to them. Showing weakness could be dangerous.

"Interesting..." Kalora was again taking notes. "Especially since, as far as I've heard, no boat was found... And what can you tell me of the surroundings? Any details might be of help. Wind? Moon? Stars? Smells? Anything, really."

She turned to look at Dysis. "Would you please not sit like that? I've allowed it for a while, but it's very disrespectful."

Damian was hesitant, thinking over her words in his head as she babbled on. He dark skin under his eyes turned a deep color, and his crimson eyes fell to the table. She means a potential mate. He cleared his throat slightly, she should not be saying such things, such thoughts were forbidden, yet he couldn't shake a feeling in the pit of his stomach, a feeling he has never felt before.. He swallowed hard, and looked your toward her. "Hooking up?"

Great he didn't understand 'hooking up' either, "It's when you... are with someone," she was trying to choose the right words, this was getting awkward, "in a romantic... way?" She needed to stop talking, "Ummm kissing and stuff... and then... more?" Scarlett really hoped he wouldn't need her to explain the birds and the bees to him. "Can we maybe talk about something else now? Really anything will do," she asked noticeably uncomfortable. He was probably going to think that was the sort of thing she did and it wasn't. "I'm a little cold," she told him wrapping her arms around herself.

Lila racked her brain, trying to remember. "Well, everyone was drunk, so it smelled like whatever they were drinking. Like I said before, it was really foggy. I couldn't see any of the stars, and I think it was a full moon?"

(Whoops, sorry)

Seera looked at Nathalia. "Well, the queen has made it clear that she would like you to come to the court, and I happen to have the key to your cell here. Her majesty said that she would like you, if it comes down to voting on the humans fate, to help with the voting. She would like both of you there. If you wish to come, I will go speak to your parents, and if they refuse, I shall get some thing from the queen to have you come there. Alright?"

Nathalia listened carefully to this woman's words. When she was finished speaking, the two nobles were quiet for a moment, contemplating whether or not to comply. Finally, Nathalia nodded her head and clasped her hands together.

"Very well. We will come with you to visit the queen. I'm sure my mother will let us leave." Nathalia whispered softly. She motioned towards the cell door, waiting for her to unlock it.

Seera slipped the key into the lock and turned it. the door swung open, and she held it so it wouldn't swing inwards as the two nobles filed out. "We should hurry. I must inform the others of the situation, but you may go to the castel. I will just get you out of this house."

Nathalia stepped out of the shadowy cell with her brother close behind. He was, as usual, quiet and very nervous. Zero tried his best to stay close to his sister without looking afraid or vulnerable. Nathalia nodded towards the woman, and before she began to go up the spiral staircase, she turned around and faced her.

"What is your name?" She murmured in question. Zero glanced over to the woman as well, curious and slightly afraid of her.

"A full moon... hmhm..." Kalora wrote that down as well, alongside the note that all humans were drunk. "Was it just the four of you, or were there more people? On both that larger and smalller boat you've mentioned."

It was too bad they hadn't been able to see the stars. It could have helped Kalora to determine whether teh stars were positioned in an unusual way. Then again, the stars on this "Earth" were probably different from their own, so it likely wouldn't tell her a lot. Maybe, once she was done with her interrogation, and sha had reported back to Emberly, she could ask the Starseers whether the stars had been acting differently or looked differently over the last couple of days. All small things could be an indication as of how these people got here.

"This mostly leaves the question as of WHY you are here..."
