"Haven't you ever heard stories of humans and how they destroy nature and take as much as they possibly can but never give anything back?" Her parents had always told her scary stories about the mythical humans when she was younger. "Anyway turns out they are real, and there's four of them here right now. Queen Emberly is having them questioned then there is to be a vote to determine their fate." She stretched a bit wondering if she should still go for a walk, "They actually look similar to us, only weaker of course, I'm kind of surprised that more people aren't here trying to get a look at them." Novah assumed the news of humans would spread like wildfire.

Lucas continued to scratch his head, he couldn't remember if had or not. "Uh, I-I'm not sure, maybe my parents mentioned it to me once, maybe..." Lucas continued to think tapping his foot. Nothing in his brain was telling him that he had heard of them. "Well, regardless, I can't give a straight answer, sorry." He looked a bit annoyed, he knew this would bug him for the rest of his days. "So, you mentioned this voting thingamajig. What would happen if people don't want them here?"


(If you cannot tell, I'm trying to make this character a comic relief character :3)

"Well I think it will come down to either; death, exile, or letting them stay," she told him wondering herself what would actually happen. "Are you going to vote?" she asked trying to get a feel for the kind of person he was. She was waiting to talk to the prince before she made up her mind on how she would vote. She took a few steps out onto the veranda beside them to feel the breeze on her face. The wind ruffled though her hair, and skirts making her want to soar. Maybe that was why he look familiar, maybe he loved to fly too? She didn't want to ask and be impolite but she thought that must be it.

Kalora led the three humans back to the throne room. Seeing as how many others there were present, she turned back to acting formal, bowing before Emberly.


"My Queen, I have questioned the three strangers, and have learned a few interesting things in my questioning. That they are humans is the least interesting of those things," she said as she stood upright again. She briefly turned back at the three humans and gave them a small, encouraging smile.


"If her Majesty grants permission, I would suggest they tell you what they have told me just now."

"Well, It be cruel to just execute or exile them. I mean, I'm sure they don't know what's going on. There just as confused as we are." Lucas stated walked up to the veranda. "I'm not really sure if I'll vote to be perfectly honest with you. But, if I do, then I'll let the poor saps stay" Lucas told her and smiled. He took a giant breath of are and sighed "Its sure is a nice day isn't it?" Lucas looked over at Novah's face. "Wouldn't you agree?" He smiled.

 

[Lithia]

"Absolutely beautiful," she smiled, "I just want to spread my wings and fly." Novah was glad he felt that way, when she brought the humans tea earlier they seemed so broken and helpless, they didn't deserve to die. "So what kind of work were you hoping to find if you didn't even know about the humans?" she asked curiously. She might as well stay and talk while she waited for the prince.

Emberly looked at the now four humans standing before her. "You may speak and then we will have a vote," she told them. "Kalora, Damian, if you have anything you wish to convey before we vote now is the time to tell me."


Scarlett looked up at Damian unsure of what to say. She decided to let her friends talk, they must have said something interesting like the other girl said they did. She stepped a little closer to Damian thinking that if he was going to hurt her he would have done it already.

Lucas sighed in embarrassment "Well, to be honest with you, I will do anything!" He told her with his hand on his face in absolute embarrassment. "I can't find any type of work! I'm hungry, I'm tired, I'm hungry, I can't fly for how low energy I have, and most importantly... I'm hungry!!!!" Lucas looked down in shame "I'm glad that no one needs my help in all but, I also wish that there is something for me to do..." he sighed "I'm sorry for the saying all those things. I won't feel hurt if you think less of me..."

Kalora looked at Emberly and thought for a moment.


"I believe the story they have told me, and I think that, if we are truly facing a war, they might be able to help us. Either way I think they should be spared, as whatever is going on here is not their doing."


She turned around and smiled at the thre again. "Go on, tell her what you've told me."

 

[Lithia]

Novah turned to face Lucas, "You can fly!" she said jumping up and down a little. "Me too, isn't it the best feeling ever?" She didn't even hear most of the other things he said because she was so excited.


Emberly thought about her friend's words, she knew she would not say something such as that unless she believed it to be true. "Well then death will not be an option for them, but we will still vote on whether or not to exile them or keep them here with us. The people of the court will have a say." She looked to the humans waiting for one of them to speak.

Glancing at the others, Dysis cleared her throat "Well...W-we uh...had no original intention to come here...it just kinda happened..."

"How did it happen?" she said stepping closer to the humans observing them. She gave the appearance of being calm but on the inside she was worried. She had to make sure this could not happen a second time. She looked toward Kalora, "Please send an alert out to the members of the court, we will get together in one hour to vote, in the mean time the humans will answer any other questions we may have."

As the queen stepped forward, Dysis took a wary step back. Not sure if her intentions. "We have no memories of last night so we couldn't tell you..."

Kalora handed the papers she had been writing to the Queen with a light bow.


"Here's what I have recorded on what they told me, should they tell something else now, or forget to tell things due to their nerves. The lack of memory is what they've told me too, and judign by their reactions this is the truth."


She turned around to leave the room and alert the other court members, as Emberly asked.


"I will be back in a few moments," she said as she hurried back to the room to send out the alerts. The seal she used and the color of the string around the short letters would tell the people enough. She then hurried out, took on her wolf form to be quicker, and went to give the letters to the people that had to be present at the voting.

 

[Lithia]

Emberly took the notes, smiling at her friend, knowing that she was the right person to have questioned them. "I will retire to my chambers for the time being to prepare myself for what I will say to the court. Only come to me in an emergency. Kalora and Damian are in charge of our - guests."

Azure followed the group of humans to the queen, listening to everything. She wanted to learn as much as she could about them, especially the one with the claw.

The way she had said guess was...unsettling. Looking to the guards, Dysis then asked "So...what now?"

Kalora finished delivering the messages to the court members and quickly headed back to the throne room, only to see Emberly had already left. She looked at Damien gave him a small smile.


"What did I miss in the moments of my absense?" she asked him, hoping he, or Azure, would be able to tell her what they would have to do until Emberly would return and the voting would begin.

Lucas looked at her a bit surprised. "Uh, yeah I can fly, its a nice feeling and all. But sadly, Its harder for me the fly now a days." Lucas sighed, rubbing his stomach and chuckled. "I've just had really low energy with the lack of food. Which is also why I've been starving for work. So, I can get my energy back." Lucas told Novah "Admittedly I could probably fly for about a few minutes because I ate an apple not too long ago, but still."

Damian straightens up, and clears his throat slightly. "I have only met her." He glances to Scarlett for a second, his stomach tightens slightly, and he looks back to the queen. "In all honesty, your majesty, I don't see them as a threat." He puts his hands behind his back and stands straight. "They are almost like the young within the kingdom, very clueless, and don't seem to have any specialities." Specialties being shifting, "yet, they have potential to be trained, as warriors, guards, and possibly healers." He spoke up to the queen with a deep voice, laced with power, yet he held a respectful gaze.

The Queen took Kalora's papers and left to read them and prepare herself for the voting. Kalora send message to the people about the vote, and the queen said Damien and she ar in charge of the guests. But Kalora missed that message, so she asked Damien what they're gonne do now)
