Ghostly Presence
The rest of school after her little Spanish session with Grace went by a lot faster than she thought it would. By the time school was out and and practices were done, Sawyer was feeling a whole lot more confident about this whole thing. The whole ride home, Sawyer hummed unconsciously under her breath and was still humming when she stepped inside to grab everything she needed.
Oliver gave his daughter a look as she rushed around the house trying to find where she'd put the guitar she'd borrowed from Ryan. But he said nothing and simply pointed to the corner of the room where it was propped up. Sawyer thanked him with a quick hug before rushing out of the house and back to her car. She had to do this fast. There was no telling how long June could keep their parents out of the house and she did not feel like getting caught.
Sawyer's car screeched to a stop outside of the address she'd acquired from June and she cringed at the noise. After sitting there for a few minutes hoping no one had heard the commotion, she hoped out. Guitar in hand Sawyer strode up to the house and glanced up to the one window with a light on. She smiled. Perfect.
Sawyer picked a rock up from the ground and launched it just hard enough that it would lightly tap Grace's window. Three more were thrown until Sawyer felt that was enough and paused to wait for an answer to her rock tossing with baited breath.
