Realistic or Modern We'll Get Through This Together

Cassie looked down thinking about his words and muttered, "I was thinking about that... But I don't know. We weren't getting adopted, so why did we have to stay there? We just wanted a life. That's why we left." She sighed. "We just never saw something like this coming."

Suddenly, a doctor burst into the room, "Are you all friends of Issac?" He asked, looking at them, "You guys better come quick, he has just woke up!" The doctor continued, not waiting for an answer, before hurrying out and into the room next door, where Issac was awake, sitting on his bed, looking around, breathing heavily, his eyes wide.

Cassie startled from the doctor, looked at the others, wishing they could walk at this moment. "Uh... I'll be right back you guys!" Hurriedly she went after the doctor and went into Issac's room. She gasped at his condition and her eyes watered, "Issac!" She walked closer to his bed.

Issac saw Caassie walk in, and he smiled, leaning forward, "Cassie!" He said, before his eyes widened in pain, and he lie back down on his bed. His back was in agony. "I'm so glad you're alright," he said, tearing up slightly, before asking, "How about the others?"

Cassie smiled sadly, "Gosh, you were worried about me...? Have you seen the condition you're in...? And, the others..." She sighed, "Vinaya and Tommy should be okay, but Tommy, um... Kind of thinks he's you right now. And that I'm his sister, and the Vinaya and him are dating. So that's new. I don't know where the rest of them went..."

Issac, or Tommy, was very confused when the doctor came in and said he was okay and awake, and even more confused when his sister left in a hurry. He looked a Vinaya

"Sweetheart, whats going on?" He rubbed his forehead, his head hurt again

"Of course I was!" Issac said loudly, before grimacing in pain, and speaking in a quieter tone, "Condition I'm in? I actually haven't seen that, is it bad?" He heard her other statement, and sighed, "That's really strange. Is this permanent? Will Tommy ever come back?" he asked, worried. "Maybe the others are in hiding somewhere?" he suggested, hopefully.

When Adam came back to the Apartments, he was horrified. The building had been burnt to the ground and his friends were gone. Worst of all, he didn't know where they were. Could they be in the Hospital? Captured? Adam feared the worst. He did not know what to do or where to go.

Cassie nodded and looked at Issac, "I hope they're all okay... I don't know if Tommy's condition is permanent or not. I really hope not." She sighed then examined Issac, "And about your condition... Let's just say you got some healing to do." She bit her lip softly then grabbed her backpack, and started digging in it, "I, uh, have something for you."

"I do too," he said, nodding. "Tommy should be alright though, I was with him during the fire, he didn't look like he got hurt too bad," Issac lied, remembering Tommy falling through the floor into the flames below. "He'll be fine, it'll just take some time," he continued, with a sigh. He heard her comment, and nodded, "Well, atleast it isn't fatal," he said, shrugging. "You do?" he asked, watching her look in her bag.

Jordan nodded from his words, then found what she was looking for and pulled it out, "I managed to save your book in the fire. Unfortunately I couldn't grab Maze Runner, but... I'm glad I got a hold of yours. Would you like it for something to do, or else I could try to get you another book to read if you like? If you even want to read, that is." She looked at him.

((Who the hell is Jordan? xD ) His eyes, and smile widened, as he suddenly leaned forward, wrapping his arms around Cassie in a hug. "Thank you so much!" he said gleefully, releasing her. "And I'm sorry about Maze Runner. Once I get out of here, I could get you another copy, if you wanted, that is," he said. "But, you need something to do, right? Why don't you keep The Hobbit for now, as you never finished reading it?" he suggested, still smiling.

((Sorry last rp, got the name stuck in my head lol xD )) Cassie laughed softly from the hug then smiled, "Really? Thank you. And would you like me to look around for a book for you? I could probably find you one. And don't worry about Maze Runner, I'm just glad you're going to be okay." She clutched the book to her closely smiling. Earlier, she couldn't bring herself to read it because she was too worried, but now that she knew all of them were going to live, she felt a million times better. However, she was still worried about the ones not in the hospital, and she was tempted to go out and look for them.

((Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice) "No, I'm fine, really," he said, laughing softly. "I'm glad you're ok too Cassie," he said, looking up at her, smiling. Suddenly, he was hit by a wave of tiredness, and sighed. "I'm sorry, but I'm not feeling awake enough to hold a coherent stream of thought," he said, before falling back onto the bed, asleep in an instant.

((Lol xD don't mock me xD )) Cassie smiled at him from his first remark, then looked at him concerned when he said he was tired. She felt slightly alarmed about how fast he fell asleep and stood by his side a little longer worried for him. She took his hand gently squeezed it, "You're going to get better Issac... You have to." Sighing she released his hand and started to leave the room.

He vaguely felt her squeezing his hand, and heard her comment, before he was completely out of it, and into the realm of sleeeeeepz. (MOCK MOCK MOCK MOCK MOCK)

After pulling himself together, Adam resolved to continue searching for his friends. Because there was a fire, he decided to start with the Hospital if the Police have not yet began his search for them. He then started walking from the now-burnt down apartments to the Hospital.

Cassie walked out of Issac's room and started going back to the waiting room. She wondered if she should go check on Tommy and Vinaya again and changed her course to their room. Her thoughts were mixed with relief and worry. Relief that the three of her friends here were okay, but worry that the rest of them were outside and who knows where?

Vinaya was nodding off and she realized this, but resisted it. She was trying to figure things out; now was not the time to be falling asleep. Though she managed to stay awake by some miracle, she evidently missed quite a bit, because the next thing she knew she was startled by a doctor she hadn't seen before shouting about Isaac. She winced at the sudden loud noise and the sharp prick of pain from her reaction. She supposed it was a good thing that this Isaac was alright, but she didn't feel very much one way or another. As for Tommy, she didn't know much about the technicalities of his condition, but she figured it'd be best not to agitate or confuse him if it could be avoided, so she (regretfully; she should've given the action a little more forethought) simply shrugged at him.

I guess we wait for Cassie to come back

Between the two of them, they were as mobile as a car with bricks for tires, so there wasn't really much else to do, frustrating as it was.
