"I can't believe him! Look at my suit. It cost more than a house on the Cóte d'Azur. Now ruined. And my sitting room! That painting was a Monet original. 348,000 USD just gone! Oh when I get my hand on him I'm gonna-" He ran to the bathroom and proceeded to puke up everything but a gold ring. 


"Maybe I'll let him live" he threw up more. "Just this once." 


On the floor above him, Lucas snickered openly. That is until a whip floated out of his shadow and struck where the sun doesn't shine. 


"EEEIIIIIIIIII!!!!!" It was a high C above E that penetrated the entire keep. 


"Back to work, you slackers." He mumbled miserably as he heaved into the toilet again. 


((ok you were right,  everyone has a sadistic side. Gaël's is just tied to a situation out of hsi control. ?))

The end of Earth. This probably means the end of Will and his baby, and many other gods. He will likely die after. The god of the disadvantaged. Hitch is likely only saving the rich. There will be very few Amerindians on mars. No Zulus, Maori, none of the people he had been fighting for for centuries. Hitch probably wasn't going to save the poor and downtrod. With all the disadvantaged people dead, so too will William die. His very existence being dependant on the strong will of the poor and downtrod. Their will to survive, their refusal to give up, etc. Once the last strongwilled oppresed person died, he too would die. He will miss Lyker so much. The baby will have to be transfered to the body of a mortal woman.


"I had always heard scary rumors about her. Now I know just how sinister she really is. I will tell Lyker and some others. Anything else?" he says sadly.

(Uhm... actually - Hitch has worked out algorithms that account for the greatest level of human genetic variance within the allowed spectrum - taking into consideration that all those working with the project, who may of course take their direct family as well. So, there will be many people from all cultures and classes. Math is indiscriminate - and so is Hitch, thank you very much.) 


Hitch saw the sadness in Will. "Recently I found a new planet, which is quite possibly a perfect replacement for earth... The earliest we can get people there with my powers and human technology is 20 years though. (He sighed and sat forwards, placing the drink on the table and rubbing his face with his palms) They will struggle. They are still too in love with this world... despite how they treat it. I wanted so much more for them. A gift... in return for this (he gestured to himself as his shoulders seemed to sag - and tiredness seemed to overcome him) I thought if I placed hope into their hands, the potential for a glorious tomorrow, filled with exploration and wonder - then they might realize how futile all of their quarreling was. Now I must shield a few in my palm, as all things they hold dear are wiped out for no reason beyond the ravings of madness incarnate. (He sat back and took a deep breath, his shoulders squaring one more and his cold persona returning) They will need someone to guide them - even if so from the shadows. It won't be traditional survival, but new - unimaginable and unforeseeable struggles. Those and those you love... are naturally welcome, If you will help me take care of them, until they get back on their feet." Hitch stood up and held out a hand, gazing at it for a bit, before looking Will in the eye "Perhaps we can offer them, if not heaven - sanctuary from those whom would so gleefully harm those who have no hope of surviving them."

(God of finance and internet. Kinda makes Will doubt that he cares about the poor people who have no money, nor internet service. For those people would not really have anything to offer Hitch. He is used to dealing with the selfish and cruel gods like Yahweh so he isn't used to any kind gods)


Will shook the guy's hand somberly. Releived that he would still get to birth his baby. That there was a new hope for his people. The poor and downtrod. The starving and hurt. Outcasts, the wrongfully imprisoned. The disadvantaged people have a new hope.


Will got up from the seat at the table "I hope so Hitch. I really do hope they learn to stop fighting eachother and learn to work together for a better future." he said before walking out of the bar.

Ok no serious question. If Hitch is smart,  why is it so hard focontroto consider that every bad thing that happens beyond the control of the Gods is not,  in fact,  Nox's doing? Or that she is bound by more than just a non-aggression against othe Gods? Especially if she is so "sinister".))

Hitch nodded and took a deep breath - "There is still some time - We have six more weeks. Ilim is on our side. We have time. I have to go." He nodded once again, and then walked towards the door, On his way to see if he could recruit more to the cause.

(she established very early on that she was heading towards something big and he has considered for Ilim not to be who he said, but since Ilim is aiding him, so that rules out him as a clear villain. He has also confirmed that Nox was at fault, and she has done nothing to explain herself. In fact, she has been nothing but hostile - thus it is not unreasonable. Either way, he knows that she is responsible and he does not care about her motivations at the moment, he wants to save as many as possible before planning accordingly - it is clear that she is unstoppable in her plans, thus the only course of action is to survive as long as she allows it. Which is what Hitch is doing.)

You filthy heathen savages will not stand in our way. Even spread thin we will still easily destroy you. We have the best training, weapons, supplies, technology and armament anyone could ever hope for. We outnumber you by many times. We have guns, horses and cannons. You inferiors are still using crude primitive weapons made of materials such as wood and bone. You cannot possibly think to stand in our way." Jackson says to William.


"Contrary to your stereotypes, we actually have a hold of guns waiting for us to use them to shoot any white man that dares try to force us from our land Mr. Andrew Jackson" he said venomously to the president.


Jackson's greasy smile drops as he hears that the Seminoles are now in possession of modern gunpowder weapons. This invasion seems like a worse idea every passing minute. Though this does not stop Jackson.

"You will be sorely out of your element fighting us in Florida Andrew. We know those lands like the back of our hands.  You are the outsiders, the invaders, you do not know anything about where you are! You cannot hope to fight us there on our own turf! You know nothing about it. We in Florida are in our element Mr. Jackson. We will use that to our advantage. You are making a HUGE mistake president! PLEASE! I BEG you to see reason." Will pleaded with Andrew.


"We have fought and conquered many other Indians before you, this will be no different. I have a general coming your way that is a seasoned Indian war fighter. He will know how to dispose of you"

"I will warn you one last time Jackson, we have in our possession a new weapon that even YOU cannot match" William spits.


Jackson hears this and is beginning to look worried. What could he mean. What weapon could these heathens have that even the might of the American army cannot surpass? Could this Indian be simply bluffing?


"We have something that will render your European army might useless and totally ineffective" he warns. Andrew is wondering what this means.


"I hereby decree that if you invade Florida, the swamps of the land shall swallow your armies whole. The trees of the land shall tear at the flesh of your armies. The mist of the land shall burn their skins and freeze it too. Flies shall poke holes of disease in the bodies of your men and beasts of burden. The very ground on which they step on shall trap their feet and foil the rolling of your cannons. The very weather of the land shall render your guns useless. I speak on behalf of all of Florida when I say, GET OUT. Turn back, we will not leave. You will see just what it means to an Indian, to be pushed one more time. We are there in Florida to STAY. We have nowhere left to be pushed back to, there is only the ocean that way."


William leaves the man behind to ponder his words. Superstitious nonsense, that's probably it. All that talk of the land fighting us is nothing but a bunch of hokey voodoo stuff right? Right?

Akuma flew over to the nearest pad of paper. He managed to scribble a message on the first page, which he tore off and carried over to the nearest non-Gaël staff member. He nudged the help gently and held up his message.


'FOllow mE'


He led the servant back to his chamber and let the soot creature go free. He sat up in his bed.


"Gaël told me to get a new Steam account and stop leeching off of whoever used to be here. Please help me."

Jamie would be spazzing out in absolute wonder,  if not for the shining thing that had just attacked him. Right now, he was trying to decide whether to be terrified or pissed. 


"What the hell are you and who gave you the right to assault me?!?" Pissed it was. 


Jamie stood back up shakily but with determination. 

"Oh hey, you're tougher than you look.", it said in an echoing, bored voice.


"It's nothing personal, kid. I just have a job to do." He held out his eye-hand again and quickly charged up another energy blast. It shot towards Jamie with a crackling noise.


DYSK!!!


Amanda threw herself in front of it and stopped it with a large orange field of energy.


"Yeah, well, if you want him you'll have to go through me!"

Lyker woke up and saw the note, he rolled his eyes not even bothering to read it. "he's probably with Hitch" he mumbled and crawled out of his bed "great i have to go find Kanin" he sighed and put on clothes. he teleported from his realm to Olympus and found Kanin sleeping on the floor in a hallway "i used to be scared of you" he waved his hand and Kanin was transported back to Lyker's realm safe in his own bed with a note that told him where he was. "one thing down a few more to go" he sighed "i need to see if Hitch has Kanin's memories" his image vanish and reappeared in front of Hitch "HItch it might be a long shot but do you have Kanin's memories, i figure Odin took them but we might need to keep a copy of them in case something goes wrong" he says boredly

The maid Akuma had flagged down stood just instoo the doorway, listening intently as he spoke. 


"Milord, this is Master Gaël's room. The other rooms in the keep are only just now inhabitable. If it pleases you, I will show you how to setup your own account."

Jamie's face twisted into a snarl. 


"This is personal now. Huginn, Muginn bring me something good." Dark Jamie had come out to play. 


The ravens flew overhead and dropped a fan and a yo-yo into his outstretched palm. 


"Thanks guys. Let's play a game Amanda. It's called Scrap the Angel."


He placed the yo-yo string his finger before dropping it and the fan into the rippling pool of his shadow. Darnkess raced up the string and converted it into a chain as he pulled the bladed fan from his shadow. He flicked his wrist,  and the chain whip fan rolled up just like a yo-yo. Whenever he let it fall, it spun faster than a buzzsaw and left a small trail of lashing darkness.

Dear Bragi if you are reading this, it means you have woken im your caretaker Loki and this is my home. you will be living with me untill our father says otherwise, yes you are my brother don't let the shock kill you. Anyways you will find in the closet clothes that fit you along with food in the fridge specifically for you. i belive by the time you wake up my Fiance should be home, have a nice eveing you little brat - Lyker/Loki

 





Bragi woke up in a bed lined with silk sheets "w-where am i" he asked quietly he saw a note and read it over, "s-so this is Loki's house" he got up and walked down the hall to see a man watching TV "a-are you William?" he ask the man slightly scared
