Fantasy Welcome to the Pantheon (Reboot - Always Accepting!)

@Almosegosum

Will smirked at the prospect. "Easy enough. I'm not a god of fear but even Yahweh is scared of me." He said with a wicked smile.

"I agree to your request. Unless there is anything else that needs to be said, I should best be on my way before I overstay my welcome here." Wiiliam got up from his seat robotically. Very gracefully and proper. Just like the classic days of polite English classical civility.

Hitch just nodded his way, and held out a phone. "Don't use it for anything. I will contact you." He nodded, and re-opened his book, as the waiter escorted the other out.

Aarus the sea god

Bragi god of poetry and Animals

((imagine his theme song playing as this happens )) The waves crashed onto the beaches of Olympus violently, near the shore a small funnel of water could be seen almost like a mini hurricane was forming but in the center of it stood a man with flowing silver hair, wearing all blue and holding a brilliant gold trident "Long time no see Olympus" the man said before walking forward the hurricane following. Once he reached shore the hurricane opened and allowed him to walk out, as soon as the man stepped out the water fell and the waves calmed themselves "alright lets see what gods we can find" a smirk crawled on his lips as he teleported to a random hall in Olympus begging to walk around. ((Open for interaction ))

Bragi reached to grab the ocarina from the man but as soon as he touched it he received a vision. " Loki use this to control him, with this he will follow your every command but their is a certain song for each command in time you will come to learn these songs" Bragi blinked rapidly and threw the ocarina across the room "i-it can control me" he said looking at the man in fright

Fausto looked up quickly, and the instrument bounced off the floor, against the wall and flew in an arc back into his hand. "Perhaps then we should not throw it down the hall where Gods reside that might want to do you harm, no?" He smiled at the boy in a sympathetic way.

Bragi

"i-i don't want that anywhere near me " he scooted away " and if a god wanted to harm me they would have done it when i used my charm speak but no gods are hear at the mo....." he stopped when a man with silver hair walked down the hall his power weighing Bragi down

Aarus

Aarus walked down the hall and saw two gods sitting on the ground holding an ocarina "hm so who might you two be?" the sea god asked pointing the trident at the two letting his powers seep out to let the gods know he wasn't one to be messed with

Fausto floated up and walked over towards the Aarus, having pocketed the Small instrument in his jacket. "Now now, there is no need for all that, Do you not recognize me? He Who laughs in the face of Absolute Determinism? The one who defies Fate? Fausto...? At least you should know that the whole power flooding shtick is a bit overplayed... at best you are just going to scare little Bragi over there, who is having a bit of a mental crises." He stood tall, his crazy hight giving him almost a head over even Aurus, while making sure to stay between the two.

"Fausto...dosen't ring a bell" the god shrugs and retracts his powers a little "do you know who i am Fausto" he asked with a serious face looking at him then to Bragi "bragi you say, the punk that killed, rapped and forced people to do to things they don't want, tell me why i shouldn't drown him" the sea god held his trident towards bragi letting it emit a blue-ish green color

(raped*)

"Doh, I must be a bit old for you then... nevertheless, Bragi now, is not Bragi then. Drowning Bragi now would of course be then like drowning someone who has done nothing... Does that sound like a good idea? Perhaps You can lower your fork and we can discuss this like the civilized and wise beings we would like to pretend we are when it matters... no?" Fausto held his hands outwards, his palms open as he smiled down at the god, while placing himself between the trident and Bragi.

((so I've been gone for 2days and only 3 pages to read through? I'm not mad at that. Now,  I think it's time to be [outwardly] villainous.))

In the void of space,  on a dark planet 4 galaxies over from the Milk Way, there stood a solitary goddess witnessing the premature death of a star. An entire civilization had just been ended,  before its time. Nox sighed heavily.

"Ilim, how could you be so reckless? We are losing so much already. Those children had so much potential; they could have surpassed humanity."

The Candles of Dusk flickered into existence. There were thousands of them burning around Nox. Another candle winked into existence and lit itself as she waved away the solar system. The candle grew as the planets and star faded into nothingness.

"So reckless. You will never know that that star would've only let to bare planets and 3 black holes. So stupid. How dare you?!?" The void of space churned with Her rage.

For a single moment,  Nox contemplated the merits of let the universe fall to ruin. It would be so easy to just let Ilimir's Maw simply consume everything. No more struggling, no more pain, no more children to worry over. She could be free.

"And alone." Nox wiped the blasphemous thoughts from her mind as she spoke to herself ((literally)).

The Candles faded away. Nox melded into herself. The Darkness smiled as a single spark streaked through the darkness, towards the Milky Way. It covered light-years in days.

Sitting on his roof, looking through a telescope he had just bought with his piggy bank money,  an aspiring astrologist Snapchatted a video of a steadily growing star, heading straight for Earth.

'Let us see how the children handle a little competition in the sandbox.'

((You brought the liquor,  Bear,  but I just started the party.))

Hitch saw the Phenomenon. He sighed. I guess tea is done. He got up, and the waiter made to walk over to present the bill... before he fell back. Oh yea... He does not do bills. He offered a polite wave and a smile as Hitch walked out of the tea room. Hitch located Ilim after a second, and teleported to Him. "We have a problem."

((I need to be more evil. I want to make you pathetic gods rally against my darkness and break before my will.  You will all SUFFER!!!

My life has been a butch,  so I'm gonna take it out on all of you.))

((actually, I can. Because we all know that some terrible tragedy is about to befall the world,  and Nox can't stop it, which is why I had to evict her from the planet [just had to make it happen sooner because lack of phone]. There's no telling what I'll be throwing your way. Next time I do this I'm not making my character omnipotent; it's too much responsibility.))

(true - butttttt... again. Forum rules state you can't kill us without express permission. And this forum in particular states that you can do much, but you can not actually end the world. Only the creator can. Sooo... that's check? Right?)

((stfu you pompous bastard. The universe is pretty big,  so I can destroy Earth,  if I wanna. Just force everyone to move to another planet. Anyway,  I'm running out of time.  Peace out,  plebs.))

"Fork!" the god shouted in rage "how dare you" he moved the trident so fast i didn't even look like it moved but now the god that was in front of him had a shirt that was in ruins and he held the trident while a beam of light formed "lets get one thing straight, i was one of the first gods to spawn from a primordial, i am stronger than you can imagine do you understand me. the fates worship me i am not forgotten my the humans unlike the rest of you and they don't make cartoons or movies about my Pantheon" he said gesturing to bragi referring to the Thor movies and the Avengers "i could blast you back into the void do not test me" he seethed and pulled his trident back angrily. he looked at bragi "my apologies Bragi" he said before glaring at the other god

Now now, that's just mean. Fausto winked. Just within the area, it felt like reality bent into itself, turning around to just before he would have ripped up Fausto's shirt. When time started moving forwards again, and the trident moved forwards once more, against all chance and reason the water god missed, sending his energy towards a pillar a few feet behind the three. All of those present were aware that something changed, and after a moment they remembered what, now... essentially never happened. "I think you overemphasize their fondness for you. You are merely a main character... and you know the best stories always have at least one significant fatality. Don't tempt them. Shall we all now get off our high horses and start again?" He shrugged and smiled over at Bragi in a questioning way.

"the fates couldn't kill me if they tried" he deadpanned and rolled his eyes. he let go of his trident and it evaporated into thin air "i believe we got off on the wrong foot, you know me by many names but for now just call me Aarus" he gave a small bow and then moved a strand of hair from his face "god of the seas, storms, earthquakes....anything dealing with water basically" he shrugged'

Fausto took out his pocket-watch and swung it to the side, and it too disappeared. "If you say so. Fausto - god of unimagined and realized potential. Lord of the Unscripted. Purveyor of the absurd. (He bowed down low, with a flourish)  I would never have thought that you would ever go blonde... or do you term it silverette? It looks good though." He looked over to Bragi. "You would not perhaps be familiar with magical objects would you? I am well versed in subverting them and destroying them, but actually managing what they are and how they work, well... let's just say I have never had reason for the skillset." While looking at Bragi with an encouraging smile, He was clearly speaking to the god of the sea.

"if you are talking about my previous affiliation with being a god of the original Olympus i think my hair looks much better as silver than it did as black" he turned his head and looked at the god "did you not just see the glowing trident i had in my hand a few seconds ago" he rolled his eyes "yes i am pretty familiar with magical objects why do you ask" he put a hand on his hip and moved a strand of hair from his face "i will never understand my i wanted long hair is quite annoying" he scowled

(I wish I had the energy to stay awake for longer - but I have been awake for almost 30 hours... I leave you all with one more reply before I fall away into oblivion)

Fausto sighed. Why must old and powerful beings, almost always be so self-involved. He forced more of a smile back onto his face. "Well, quiet little Bragi believes that he might be controlled with a Magical musical instrument. I need to know if more than just his service could be bound to it, and if so - would there be any negative consequences to said Bragi, were one to destroy said magical musical instrument?"

"oh one of those types" he sighed "it depends on who used the magic, if he really is Bragi that must mean Loki or Odin himself enchanted it and Norse magic is nothing to mess with" he ran a hand through his silver hair "Don't destroy it if it was created by Odin it could have serious side effects give it to someone you trust or lock it away" he shifted his stance and looked at Fausto with a frown "because we can be" he said as if reading the mans mind although not one of his many powers Aarus could read the man's body language, Aarus shrugged and leaned against the wall

@Almosegosum

((any particular reason why all the older beings have to be douchbags? ))

(Probably cynicism as over the long span of eternity they realised the futility of existence, and the pointless and ultimately damned nature of sentience, and a sort of reluctant obligation towards creation, for in essence they are subjecting other beings to this existential nightmare devoid of any inherent value, where even the most well defined personal value is subject to time and a context that is ever changing anyway - making it furtive by definition and thus temporary, which to most beings infer a lesser quality, or inauthenticity.- which drives them in turn to try and remove this hellish uncertainty by being the determiners of value for their creations, which again - due to the ever changing contexts, provide only small pockets of relief for lesser beings, before the certainty comes into question and they are once more flung into a void of meaningless drive, heading with either fear or eagerness towards their own doom)

Fausto turned to Bragi completely. "You heard the man, what do you think you want to do with it? It's your decision after all."  He walked over and crouched next to the boy.

Bragi

Bragi sighed "i-i have to keep it then if it cannot be destroyed" he said holding the ocarina "i really don't have a choice" he sighed putting it in his pocket and closing his eyes

Aarus

"hm so it seems Bragi lost his memories" he crouched in front of Bragi smirking

Fausto quirked his eyebrow at the now similarly crouched god... "Yes, we have established that. It is one of those situations where you are happy that it happened, but also sad that it had to." He fell backwards and was now sitting down on the ground, leaning back with his hands behind him. He looked over from Bragi to Aarus. "What brings you here then, oh god the waves?" He smiled at the other, having decided that it would probably be best to just ignore his stuck up attitude. it helped Bragi, and maybe it would help this one relax as well.
