"You have grey in your hair." She stated looking down at him for a second, she moved quicker and looked up away from him. "Not that grey is bad." After telling him that they landed.

He didn't quite get his footing and stumbled"ow,damn it..."He let his hand come to his leg.He took afew.deep breaths,before nodding"yes...it's been...quite stressful these past few years..."he took a breath,closing his eyes

Eve put a hand on his unharmed shoulder and helped him, "come on, let's get you inside." She sighed softly and let him put her weight on him, "looks like I'm playing doctor." She sighed under her breath.

"No no I'm...I'm dime. Just a scrape..."he grumbled."...I'm just alittle tired. I've been busy lately..."he took a shaky breath."don't worry. I'm just...worn..."

"Shut up." She told him and helped him inside, "I'm helping you if you like it or not." She told him closing the door, "now come on," she mumbled leading him to the sofa.

He grumbled."right right. The shoe be on the other foot..."he let out a chuckle."your just as stubborn as I remember..."

He talks as though he's not seen me in years... Eve sat him down and knelt infront of him quietly, "you seam to like my stubbornness." He lent down and lifted the injured leg gently.

11he winced"one of your best qualities..."he grumbled,fist clenched as she moved his leg."you see upset...didn't we...just finish a job?what's wrong?"

Silently she put his leg down in a gental motion, "I'll go get my medical kit...and a shirt for you." She was quiet for a long moment before leaving him there.

He nods"Right Right. Might be best..."He grumbled,letting his head fall back against the couch. "Sorry I left. I had some business on the other side,and got busy..."

After a few minutes Eve returned with what seamed to be a man's top and a wooden box, "here, put this on." She held it out to him, "why weren't you wearing one...when you came back?" She swallowed setting the box down in the floor, "next time I'm going with you, we can't leave each other. Not until the end. We made that promise."

"I don't remember where my shirt went. It's been awhile. But you act like you really missed me..."he chuckled, taking the clothing and slipping it on,before closing his eyes with a sigh

"You weren't gone long...but now talking to you, it feels like you have been gone for years." She got to work fixing him as best she could, "sleep in my bed, I'll take the sofa."

"No!no no I'm good with the couch. Its your bed. The couch will be heaven enough."he adjusted himself,eyes closing slowly."and trust me. It feels the same for me. Years..."

She shook her head, "I can't let you sleep her," she told him quietly, "it wouldn't be right." She moved to pick him up again.

He held his hand up in defence"don't. I'm not taking your bed the first day I'm back. I've spent 3 years sleeping on rocks. I'm entirely grateful for just the couch..."

"No." She said looking at him, "I won't let you." She swallowed and picked him up, "just...please." She mumbled, her foot steps where quiet, "you'd treat me this way...let me do it to you."

He let out a sigh"fine fine I'll take the bed. But I'm not kicking you out of it. Stay on your side."

Eve nearly dropped him as they walked into the room, "w...what?" She didn't turn the light on just closed the door and put him on the bed. "I'll...I'll sleep on the floor." She swallowed stepping back from the bed.

He rolled his eyes, rolling to one side"look. I haven't had any interaction with anything intellegent for almost 3 years,and I'm not about to make the first intellegent creature I meet sleep on the floor. Shut up and get in bed."maybe it was just he was tired and wounded,but he was definantly a lot more...assertive,then before

"I can't..." She shook her head looking down at him, "I might kick you...or hurt you by accident..." She swallowed looking at the floor.

"It's better than getting eaten by ravenous beasts"he stated bluntly. However something else escaped him in a much lower tone


"Better than being alone aswell..."

Her voice caught in her throat and she just stared at him for a long time.


She swallowed before speaking again, "I've been alone...for so long." Eve looked down at him, "I've ever shared a bed...with anyone before."
