Fantasy Welcome to Eridia

Sitting behind the tree, waiting for the man to walk past, Laurel grew tired of waiting and peeked around the corner finding that the man is no longer in sight. "Huh, that's odd." Laurel scratched his head. He looked around and he couldn't find Art anywhere either. "Hey Giles, weren't we supposed to meet Art somewhere around here?"

"Uh, yeah I think so. I don't know. He's just so gloomy, I don't pay attention anymore." said Giles as he rubbed his face on Laurel's shoulder.

"Weird. Normally he's on top of this." Laurel waited for another minute or two. "Welp, I guess let's go. We'll run into him sooner or later." Laurel stood, second guessing this is where they were to meet.

"Maybe, you're just dumb and got the meeting spot wrong again." Giles snickered.

"Hey! I'm a Master Wizard, Illusionair. I think I can remember a meeting spot." Folding his arms, Laurel realized they were supposed to meet north of town. Still trying to play it cool, he started walking north.

"If this is the right spot, then why are we leaving?" Giles laughed.

"Silence!" Laurel interrupted as he continued walking.

As Art was traveling through the woods in still in thought, he finally stopped and looked Art may have become lost. Art walked over to a tree and pulled out his traveling bag, and reached in to pull out his map and some rations for adventuring. He then realized that he forgot to restock on food, 'Was that why Laurel went into town before?', Art wondered. He sighed, "Well I have enough rations to make it there if I'm going the right way and half way back if I conserve on the way back." Art stood up and threw his bag over his shoulder and continued on his way, he should be where the tainted forest was soon. So he just kept going and wondered about what Michi said about being free, but the thought only seemed to pain him.

Gunnolf Fenrisúlfur Gunnolf stared at the woman as she stepped out of the wagon. Her hands smell like that of a human blood but it doesn't appear to be drenched in them. He can feel her gaze scanning from head to toe. She looked calm and serious as she gracefully hopped down the wagon. Like a cat, she landed without a sound. Her arms and legs have bruises and cuts, maybe from the torture that she had received from her capturers. From his observation, he decided that the woman needs to have her injuries be treated.

"I have not seen the likes of you around here before. What is your name, and where do you come from?"

Gunnolf put his hand in front of his face with his palm facing him. Of course, you have not, I am not from here. You see, I am about to go on a mission, then I was lured by a commotion and saw your supposed to be execution. He put his hands down, his left arm resting on the left side of his hips. According to the way the crowd treats you, I can say you are someone who did bad, very bad things to them. You are hated here, is it not? Kukuku He towered over the woman and bent slightly to level his head with the woman's. I will answer your question later if you decide to come with me. Wait, you've got no choice, sooner or later, a whole bunch of knights will be on your behind. Well, if that's your death wish then I will not try to stop you. He chuckled. I'm on my way to the village of Azrael, 20 miles north from here. Gunnolf puts his right hand over his helmet's eye slits, looking towards the north. I am sure that there will be some doctors or healers there. He said as he gently taps the side of his helmet where his temple would be. I will also ask your assistance on this matter. He said as he hands the copy of his mission.

Jinn Archaist Jinn felt annoyed by the somewhat conceited response he got from the demon. Okay, my lord. Sorry for the interference of a mere mortal like me. He said as he bow his head and rest his hand on his nape. Too bad, the all-too-powerful demon over here looks like he's not aware that once you're in the mortal world, you're not invincible. He said while flailing his arms around. Jinn turned and put his sword behind his back. Alicia, I'll be taking my leave in 10 minutes. Jinn said as he head towards the river. He scoop some water with his hand and splashed it on his face. Ahhh cool, so relieving. He thought. @Mitchs98 @An Unknown Person

Alicia Nefaras

Alicia had stopped speaking a while ago once realizing neither Rel nor Jinn paid her much interest. She sighed as she watched the two talk. Why did he ask a question and then seemingly ignore her? Oh well. "Okay, I'm ready when you are." She told him simply, though she didn't make any moves to well..move. Not until he was for sure ready to leave.

"But Of course."he smiled,walking at as teady stride with a smile. For some reason he was enjoying himself. He coulfnt say why,but he just knew he would enjoy his day

@JustCallMeAimee

He gave her an odd look,before focusing back ahead,only.nodding,taking a long drag.he waved ahead,as in a silent 'go on'

Art had finally reached the tainted forest and all Art could smell was death, decay, and.... Smoke? Art looked up into the sky and he saw smoke a ways away and he noticed the ground was slightly shaking. So he just got here and there was already a commotion going on.

Art started calmly walking toward the area, to get a look at what was happening. As he got closer he saw a gigantic ring fire and through it all he could make out was a humanoid figure and a gigantic beast with wings. He whispered to himself, "Is that a dragon?.." having only seen dragons 4 times other than this, that he could think of remembering, he still knew it was very uncommon to see them. So he remained behind the brush and leaned against a tree, just observing what was taking place. While observing, Art, was taking mental notes of what they seemed capable of, their tendencies in battle, their small habits, and he also attempted to gauge the large man's reflexes.

And as he leaned he ate some of the ration bread he had in small bites.

(I'm Imagining him eating the bread like popcorn x'D )

After the fiasco in the woods he made it to his estate more or less in one piece. Of course he was going to take it out on the civilians but how? What caused the most suffering? A nightly raid? No too smallscale. Multiple raids possibly...nah he wanted it to be devastating. A war. He came to that conclusion with a sadistic grin. He would bring war to the "civilized world". Tearing down their walls and burning them alive will suffice. What do humans matter anyway? They are little more than cattle and cannon fodder.

Silently she indicated for them to go around back.

After looking for a back entrance they found a metal fire escape bolted to the bricks and rusting with age. She pointed up at the ladders before climbing them ahead of him at a fast yet silent pace. The metal railings flaked rust as she gripped them and pulled herself up, looking for an open window or entrance of some description.

"You stay with that idiot?" Rel asked, clearly showng signs of anger towards Jinn "But...can you please continue?" he quickly changed the subject, hoping that they wouldn't keep talking about him, but instead about someone else or something else. "So...do you...remember your parents?" he asked out of nowhere.

@Mitchs98 b0ss

He watched her go,and disperesed into a cloud of smoke. Said smoke than Slithered up the fire escape,letting her search as it waited silently

An empty apartment. Taking out a pen knife she broke the lock and forced the window open, her movements where silent almost as if her feet didn't touch the ground. Moving quickly she left the apartment and moved down the empty hall way.

The trail of smoke took a different route. Entering the ventalation it started looking through building quickly,all the while keeping an eye on Eve as it scanned for anything that might cause a problem

97B she thought over in her head until she was infront that very door. She rapped against the door with her knuckles hard, "Hello? You post came through my door." She announced.

@Mistory1997

The door creaked open and a long hair blood shot eyed man peeked out at her, "H...hello?" He fumbled over his words twitching slightly.

She stuck her boot in the door, "Ben?" He nodded, "Well then I

believe you owe a certain drug lord some money."

Panic filled his eyes and he tried to slam the door shut, but her foot prevented this and allowed her to push into the room and grab his shirt. Her expression was blank and emotionless as she slammed his skinny body into the nearest wall.

The smoke collected in the room as he refomred,watching quietly"you have three choices it seems.give us the money,get the crap kicked out of you and then have the money taken,or death,and we still get the money. Up to you. I dont.think we care"

@JustCallMeAimee

The man, Ben, seamed to be mumbling and whimpering that his didn't have the money and that there was nothing in the flat for them to take or pawn off.

"I vote for option two. Because if he isn't lying then I'm not blind." Eve watched his overly fidgety nature and tendency to avoid eye contact. An obvious liar. She released the front of his shirt and let him stumble away from her, "I'll give you a head start to get the money. But hurry up I'll be being you." She growled at him and watched him scamper off. Glancing at Chris she followed the lanky man.

He smiled at the courtyard as multiple prisoners were brought in. He had his men round up several villages. Why? Well your about to find out. His voice booming unnaturally he began to chant in some demonic language and multiple runes began to glow in the courtyard. His men began to slaughter the people and laugh at their screams as their souls were devoured by his ring. Using all the necromantic energy left in the air from their deaths he sent all of it flying out in every direction. Finished he walked to the parapets and observed as a couple thousand corpses began to get up. Their moaning and wailing brought a smile to his face.

He took a long drag,shaking his head"to easy.the windows are all locked, so you might want to hurry..."he grumbled,watching the man with cold eyes
