Getting dressed again she exited the bathroom and went back into the kitchen her feet silent on the hard wood.

He eventually found himself at the window,staring up at the sky,the sun just rising,his fist to his lips"brother...I still question if I was out of line in those days. So many lives. So many families. Hell. Children died in the end..."


He sighed,leaning against the glass."do I want to be that...thing again?it's hard to be sure. That thing wasn't worth the title 'god'...but I can only heal so much pain. I'm gonna get my power back,and show all of you that through bloodshed, I can do good for this world. And show you even monsters make amends..."

Evelyn was quietly next to the fridge listening intently. She watched him expression solemn.

He shook his head,releasing a strained laugh."right...monsters don't make amends. Just more monsters"he sighed,running a hand through his white streaked hair."just wait. That girl in there is willing to stick around. And you can be Damn sure she is going to get anything she wants out of it. You and the others aren't ruining her life because I fucked up some 600 hundred years ago."he snorted,taking a breath. "She's coming with me apparently. And I'm not gonna stop her. Last thing I need is her hating me. But I'm telling you now. To push her. Beat me,skewer me,and feed me to your beasts,but you dare touch a hair on her head..."he let his hand fall,thinking over his words"...I won't hold back like last time."He let a hand wipe away the tears in his eyes,wearing a sad smile."and I guarantee, that you aren't ready to see what you locked away again..."he let out a shaky breath,closing his eyes as he took a seat once again."stupid. He won't listen. And he probably is laughing about it. The god of malice, ready to tear apart the world for some girl. Some...girl that he can't look at without smiling. Right. Stupid..." he laid back,sweeping his hair back in fluid motion." I wonder of a god has ever been in love..."

"Can you show me...what love is like?" She now stood in the kitchen but still a great deal away from him. Her heart drummed in her ears with a steady almost haunting beat, "if that's not asking too much...could you?" She looked afraid yet egar for him to show her no physically but mentally what love really is. "I don't care about what you've done...that's in the past and sometimes people, even Gods, make mistakes." She stared at him for a long time. "You may be the God of Malice once...but I think you're very different from that person. And I won't allow you to get hurt, you've been through too much and it should be me if one one..." Eve whispered looking away from him, "I promise, I won't forget and then we can stay together," she wiped her eyes on her sleeve.

"Hey...it's..you don't have to promos anything. You have done enough for me..."he stood,slowly walking over. He paused,just afew feet away.what could he say?What could he do?

Eve looked up at him with damp cheeks hesitating before closing the distance between them. "I wouldn't lie..." She whispered looking up at him with a sad expression.

He gave a small smile."hey...beat the crap out of me later...ok?"He didn't give warning. No hesitation. In the next instance he took her cheeks in his hands,and pulled her into a kiss,letting his hands fall to her shoulders.

Shock filled her body and the blood around her body pumped loud and fast. But slowly she began to kiss him back tilting her head up towards him. She wanted to pull away from him but couldn't, instead she lent further into the man infront of her and wrapped her arms around his shoulders gently.

He couldnt help but smile into the kiss,deepening it with a push. She would kill him for this. But at the moment he didn't really give a Damn. A short time later he spoke the kiss,breathing abit heavy"y-yea...any...anyway...we should..."could he play it off? Could they ignore that?act like it didn't happen? Doubtful...either she would hit him or kiss him again,and that would be his answer. Anything else would confuse him to no end

She looked up at him quietly, hands still on the back of his neck, she swallowed dryly. Running her fingers through his hair she gently pulled him back towards her and with slight hesitation she spoke, "sorry I just...need to check something." And lent up to kiss him again.

He went rigid. For once he was the one that went red. He quickly returned the kiss,hands resting on her shoulders.why was he so flustered?sure he hadn't expected her to be so forward about it...but...that doesn't mean...oh what does it matter...

Pulling back quickly she looked away from him then back at him that pink flush creeping up her neck. What the hell are you doing? Her head screamed at her as alarm bells rang through her ears. She stumbled for words looking away then back up at him like three more times.

"T...told you you look good in red..."was all he managed. What had just happened. He was so cocky before. He was so confident. Now he was questioning every word he said..."that...ummm...you...ok?"

Suddenly she managed to smile up at him, with a confidence she moved closer wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging him, "y...you look good in...r-red too."

He couldn't help but get even redder. Slowly,he wrapped his arms around her.and sighed"how the hell did I find you?"

"We where in the right place as the right time." She snuggled further into his chest mumbling that he's warm before lifting her head, "where is it we're going...anyway?"

He let out a breath."the ruins of the kingdom I destroyed....there's something there I have to get back"


He rested his chin atop her head,closing his eyes."probably going to get in some trouble while we're there. We might take a trip through the void. Get there faster. Well. To everyone else we will..."

"Be gone for a long time?" She smiled despite this fact, "but won't that mean we'll be together for longer?" She asked listening to his heart beat in her ear.

"...Right. of course we will. Good point"He smiled,running a hand through her hair."you could be an angel with that kind of outlook."he chuckled,shaking his head"anyhow. Let me go take a shower,and get your gear together. I'll open the rift in an hour."

Leaning into his hand she snorted a sarcastic laugh, "yeah some Angel." Releasing the older looking man she smiled and nodded quietly, "towels are in the bathroom." She mumbled to him before walking off to get her gear.
