Weapons Are Human

(Okay)

Cisco walked towards the sounds until he could make out what the people were saying.

"So then I was like "fuck the police" and I ran. Damn bastards couldn't keep up." Said a voice around a corner. Cisco stopped at the edge of a tunnel when he knew that the people were around the corner. He waited and stood against the wall. Sam stayed close to Cisco and mimic what he did. After a minute, a rat went by and startled Sam by brushing against his ankle. Sam made a small sound and then he quickly covered his mouth. The talking stopped and the there was silence for a moment.

(Though could you rp as some of the weapons down here, or as Sam?)

(Sure thing. Do you think they should cooperate?)

"What was that?" A burly, blond Weapon snapped his head in the direction of the sound.

"Sounded like a voice." Another with such likeness to the first was obviously his twin.

"Ya think's it cops?" A third Weapon, scrawny and scraggly with a bad hunch, asked.

"Let's go and see." The twin 1 answered. He gestured for the others to follow him. They sneaked to the entrance. Twin 1 took his brothers hand. Twin 2 quickly changed into a gauntlet with blades connecting to the knuckles. They stepped out to see two people they didn't know.

"Well, well, what're you two doin down 'ere?" The scraggly, hunched man asked, peering closely at the smaller one.

(Do you think Leila should come down due to curiosity or something?)

(Yeah, they should cooperate. And I think Leila coming down would be great as well.)

Sam looked at the two and was intimidated by them, especial the hunched one. Sam his behind Cisco and Cisco looked at the two.

"Hey, fellow weapons. I'm looking for some help with a big scheme and I need some help. Interested?" Asked Cisco. Sam stayed behind Cisco and hoped that the weapons wouldn't do anything rash to them.

"A scheme?" Twin 1 looked at them with a raised eyebrow.

"It would depend on what it is." The hunched one said. They looked between each other then the two newcomers. They were still cautious, but they outnumbered the strangers. One of them was only a child anyway

---------

Leila heard footsteps crunching on snow and coming towards her. She quickly woke up and stood. Just in time as a policeman passed by. He looked at her and she made sure that her eyes were visible.

"Everything alright ma'am?"

"Oh, yes. I just dropped something and it rolled here. I found it though." She answered.

"Alright then. Have a nice day." The man tipped his hat before continuing down the road. Leila breathed a sigh of relief. She sneezed. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to sleep in the snow. She needed to move around to warm up, but she didn't want to go far in case Cisco and Sam returned. Her curiosity piked. She looked at the manhole cover the boys had left through.

"Screw it, I'm going." She slid the cover aside and stepped into the murky darkness.

Cisco looked at them and told them what he had in plan. But first he was going to show them a reason first.

"Well, we've been living off the streets and these damn humans always step all over us. Well I think it's time for a little change. I'm starting a rebellion and together we can convince enough weapons to build an army and take down the king." He said. Cisco was going through his head how long it would take to gather enough people, might take a year or more.

"That's my big scheme and I'm asking for help. In return you guys get your rights."

"Take down the king, eh?" The hunched man looked to the twin. The gauntlet changed back to his normal form, seeing no threat from the newcomers.

"That's quite a scheme." Twin 1 said with a chuckle. "Sounds interesting."

"Ya think ya can get enough Weapons to join you?" The hunched man asked, clearly skeptical. "Humans outnumber us anyway."

"That's a good point." Twin 2 stated. He stood with his arms crossed over his chest, looking menacing.

"And how do we know you aren't working with humans to find Weapons who aren't owned?" Twin 1 narrowed his eyes as he spoke to the Weapon who suggested taking down the bastard king.

--------

Leila carefully made her way through the darkness. The smell forced her to cover her nose with her sleeve, but it did little to help. It absolutely stank.

"Why am I doing this?" She grumbled to herself, regretting her decision. She trudged on, wanting to reach Cisco and Sam. They had gotten a large head start and so would still be a while away.

Cisco nodded when he asked of we can get enough people.

"Yeah, we could get enough. Pretty much all weapons want to have their own rights and they'll be willing to fight for it as well. And almost all humans in this city don't know how to use a weapon, they'll just run when they see us." He said. When the other twin asked if he was working for a human, Cisco crossed his arms.

"I'm not working for some damn human. In fact the idea to take down the king was from a human." He said.

The three laughed at the stranger's statement.

"A human suggested that?" Twin 1 burst into a fit of loud guffaws. "How ridiculous. As if that would ever happen. All humans hate Weapons and love the bastard king. It's something everyone knows."

"I aint seen nothin' that says otherwise." The hunched man agreed, nodding his head.

----------

Leila could faintly hear voices ahead. She stopped for a moment to try make them out. They were too far away to hear what they were saying or who was saying it. She carried on walking through the stench, taking careful steps as to not make any noise to attract attention to herself. She had no idea how others may react to her presence, but her best guess was badly.

Cisco chuckled a bit from the sound of it.

"Heh, yeah I thought that too but she really looked like she wanted to kill the king when she said it to me. Hey, just think that if a human was on our side. Then we can walk the streets without drawing too much attention." Just then, Cisco got an idea.

"You see, if a human that worked for us was walking right beside you in town, then the cops would think that you're own. Then when a another weapon comes by that is own by a human. We grabbed them and bring them into an ally. Interrogate the human while convincing the weapon to join." He said. Sam thought that it sounded like an okay idea, he peeked out from behind Cisco and looked at the three.

"So what you're saying is that you've got a human working for you?" The three were all very skeptical of this information. There was no way it could be true, but if it was, it would make the newcomer's plan much easier. The plan itself was interesting. They would do close to anything to kill the king. The king who made their kind no more than vermin.

"If you do..." The twins looked at each other. "We're in."

The hunched man shook his head. "I don't trust any humans. They're quick to turn on you."

---------------

Leila could see the outlines of three unknown people and Cisco. Sam was barely visible behind Cisco's legs. Leila stuck to the shadows. She didn't want to be seen, especially after what she heard what the one Weapon had said. Something scurried past her feet, causing her to jump back. This led to her smacking her head against the wall. She brought her hands up to her head only to loose her sense of balance and faceplant on the ground.

"Ow~" She moaned, not even caring about attracting attention anymore. Just her hitting her head was pretty loud.

Cisco nodded when the twins said that they were in, Cisco then looked at the hunched man when he didn't accept Cisco's offer.

"Come on, I'm not saying you have to be next to a human. You could be the one to interrogate th-..." He was cut off by the sounds behind him. Cisco turned around and saw a small figure where he came from. The only thing that popped in his mind at who that person is only made him not believe it.

"You can't be serious." Cisco said to himself.

The one twin quickly turned back into his weapon form while his brother stood in a fighting stance.

"Who's there?" He called out. They could hear groans of pain coming from the direction of movement. Obviously someone was trying to spy on them. The man walked towards the small body which was lying on the ground a couple of meters away.

"Who are you and what do you want?" His question was only answered with more sounds of pain. The body slowly rose, a hand cradling both the back of it's head and its face. A woman's face came into view. A human woman. The man placed the blades of the gauntlet by her neck.

"Human." He hissed.

---------

Leila was in too much pain to register what was going on around her. Her head was ringing from the multiple hits it had taken. The fist thing she saw when her vision unblurred was several very sharp looking blades glinting in what little light there was. They also happened to be pointed at her throat and wielded by a very angry looking Weapon.

"Um..." Leila swallowed, "hi?"

Cisco saw the weapon old a blade against her neck. Cisco walked up to the weapon and put his hand in front of him.

"Whoa there, ease up a bit. Remember that human I was talking about? The one who had the idea of killing the king?" Said Cisco as he mentioned Leila. Sam kept by Cisco's side when he went over there. He didn't want to be near the creepy hunched guy. The hunched weapon looked at Leila with a cold stare.

Leila looked at Cisco, careful not to move her head. She gave a small nod at his words.

"Yes, what he said." Her fear was skyrocketing. She could feel the glare of the Weapons on her. Thankfully, the Weapon in front of her took a slight step back, allowing her to breathe. She rubbed the back of her head where she had hit it. She was hoping the dampness was from the wall and not from her. Head injuries always bled a lot.

"So, human, you work for this Weapon?" The man said as if the word human was poison. Leila looked to Cisco again with a questioning look.

"I suppose, in a way." She furrowed her brows. "I thought it was more of a mutual partnership." She realized after she said that, that it was probab;y the wrong thing to say. I should have just said yes, she mentally sighed at her own stupidity.

Cisco herd her say that she thought it was a mutual partnership. He didn't mind if she thought that but did she have to say it. The hunched weapon looked at Leila and he raised and eyebrow. He walked over to her and glared her down.

"What do you mean by, mutual?" He asked. "And why did you suggest that the king should die? Did he do something to you, or are you scared of something?"

"Well..." Leila decided it would be best to choose her words carefully this time. With the questions that were asked, it would be really bad if she screwed up.

"By mutual I mean that I work with Cisco, rather than for him. We're on equal footing. Neither in more power than the other." She hoped that would suffice. Had she made it clear that she didn't think she was above them?

"As for the king... He hasn't done anything to me specifically, but I disagree with his laws. I don't see Weapons as an inferior race and feel they should have as much freedom as myself. No one should have to live as a slave." She responded to the second question. Again, she was unsure of the reaction it would get. Leila cringed slightly, awaiting response and possibly impact.

"You work with him. Okay." Said the hunched weapon. He walked around her to get a better look and he spat on the floor when he herd her say that humans and weapons are equal.

"You disagree? Since he hasn't done anything to you then why did you suggest to kill him, huh? What you said made you sound like a damn hippy. There's more behind your reason." When he said that, Cisco was beginning to really wonder why she made the suggestion in the first place when weapons are the only ones that are impacted.

"Um, I strongly disagree?" Leila tried. She knew that reply wouldn't be good enough. The questioning was making her nervous and she couldn't think properly. Her eyes darted around, as if she could find the answers in the environment.

"I don't... Have another reason... I think." She responded lamely. She wanted to punch herself for her stupidity.

"Well, a person who I considered my second mother now hates me, so I suppose that may also contribute." Being yelled at by Mia still stung. Mia was there for as long as Leila could remember.

"I also..." She stopped herself. That was unnecessary information that not even she was sure was true.

Cisco saw that Leila was getting nervous because of the weapon's questions. He steppes in and looked at the hunched weapon.

"Hey, she wants to help weapons and take down the king. If you don't believe her then believe this. She helped me kill a human." He said. The hunched weapon widen his eyes a bit and then laughed.

"Her? A little girl? Hah, don't make me laugh. Why would she kill a human?" He asked.

Leila looked at the floor. The memory of the body lying lifelessly on the cold ground still haunted her.

"He was going to kill Cisco." She mumbled. That was her honest reason. That was the thought that went through her head when it happened. The fact that her life was also on the line mattered little at the time.

The hunched man saw the reaction when Cisco brought up that she killed someone. He knows that expression all too well. He stepped back and looked at Cisco.

"So you're really going to trust her?" He asked. Cisco nodded at him.

"Yeah, she helped me and I helped her. So what do you say?" The hunched weapon thought about it for a solid three minutes.

"Okay, fine. But I don't want any human using me as a weapon. Got it?" Cisco nodded.

Leila nodded. It seemed that the Weapon accepted her being there for the time being.

"I can help you move around freely. I've also got some medical experience." She quickly said. She wasn't much of a fighter anyway. If she were to hold a weapon, she would probably just be a hindrance. A small smile managed to appear on Leila's face. Cisco had gotten some allies to help them. They were one step closer to their goal.

The little rebellion that Cisco is creating has started. They have a lot of to do to prepare themselves for the upcoming revolution. But know, they need more weapons. And a place to put them.

"Okay, now that we have an idea to get more weapons, we need a place to put them. Do you have an idea?" Asked Cisco as he looked at the other weapons. One of the twins looked at him and then whispered something yo his brother. The twin nodded and then looked back at Cisco. "We did find an old abandon warehouse and no human goes there, not even the cops. That could be a good place."

Leila silently watched the Weapons discuss the next course of action. They were probably still cautious of her. If she were to suggest anything, it might be considered a trap. She didn't have anything anyway. She looked to Sam. He had been quiet the whole exchange from what she had noticed.

"Ate you okay?" She asked him in hushed tones, not wanting to disrupt the others.

Sam looked at Leila when she spoke to him. He was a bit startled by the hunched man and it spooked him a bit. When he looked at Leila, he felt a bit better.

"I'm fine. The hunched one is creepy looking." He said. Cisco was discussing the plan with them and they came up with something. They headed back to the two and looked at them.

"Okay, there's a place where we can bring weapons in and it's pretty big and these two haven't explored it all yet so there could be something onside that might help." Said Cisco.
