give me oblivion
Giovanna had been struck speechless when she saw the antiquated castle. This was the first time she saw such a well preserved historic site. The locals must have had an immense sense of responsibility towards their own heritage or this castle was just too cold and isolated to be bothered defacing. She knew the latter was true.
It took all her willpower to resist running around like a toddler and explore the castle herself. That was a sure way to get lost and, considering the formidable size of the keep, she might not be found at all if she ever got lost. So, with self-security in mind, she stuck with the group.
Soon, rooming arrangements were distributed and she wasted no time in laying down her stuff. The rooms were small in comparison to the rest of the keep, but it was still much bigger than she was used to. Giovanna could bring her entire extended family and with a bit of smart placement, they could all fit here. Now unburdened, she removed her trench coat, revealing the plain form-fitting teal shirt she wore under it and took to attempting to socialize.
By some happy coincidence, a round of alcohol was being had at the second floor. God knows I could use some warmth, she thought, smirking subtly. It was a horrible excuse to drink. Everyone knew Giovanna was one of the heaviest drinkers in AU. The fact had come as a shock to her peers as it betrayed their first impression of her as a proper and noble woman. Which she was, by all means. She just loved to drink irresponsibly. A sort of escape from her normal behavior.
"Oh, thank goodness. I thought I was going to die of thirst in this place," she said to the others sitting round the fireplace, voice jokingly pleading, as id she actually was going to die of thirst. "Mind giving this humble alcoholic a bottle?"
