"Go to hell!" Jessica shouted as she hauled back and slugged her long time foe across the jaw. Taller, but not necessarily stronger, and caught off guard, Willem was knocked sprawling to the floor. Her anger thus spent she turned and stormed out of the Library, heading up the stairs to her room.

Emmanuel, Hallway

Emmanuel had been leisurely making his way back towards the library, he turned a corner when he heard someone moving very loudly, it only took him a couple more seconds until he bumped into a furious looking Jessica.

"Wow there, whats the matter with you? Did you guys get into an argument that fast, either way, just calm down, lets take a seat and you can talk to me, I'll talk to willem for you afterwards." Emmanuel, being sympathetic towards Jessica for obvious reasons tried to calm her down, he knew better then most how aggressive she could be.

Willem, Library

"If going to hell means i won't have to talk to you, I'm fucking fine with it." Willem grumbled as he slowly collected himself and got on his feet, He wasn't sure what to do currently, the argument kicked him out of his research mood and there was no one to talk with, he guessed he should just take a while to sit down. Maybe he should try writing a mail... maybe he should just take a short nap so he didn't explode in a combination of rage, irritation, and emotional raving... maybe.

Jessica didn't say anything, she glares at Emmanuel for a moment, wild emotions playing through her mind. "I don't kiss people because kissing leads to attachment, and that's the last thing I want." She had recited that line a thousand times to countless partners she had had, Emmanuel included. Thus it was difficult to tell who was more surprised when she wrapped hold of the front of his shirt and pulled herself against him, kissing him fiercely for a moment before letting go, pushing him away as she continued up the stairs.

"I... guess." Emmanuel sighed, he was not sure why she did this, was she just trying to alleviate her stress... he knew she never saw a kiss as a romantic thing but similarly this was a weird way for her to do it, he decided to follow her. She needed her time he guessed but he was still worried so he decided he would just sit outside her room for a bit, who knows, maybe Jessica would finally realize there was more to relationships then her current style.

Jessica, her room, 12:30

"Pins, pins, where the fuck are my damn pins?" Jessica shouted out loud as she rummaged through her belongings, searching for the elusive bobby pins that every girl in the world had pouring out of their ears until they needed them. With an exasperated cry she gave up her search and dropped onto her bed, staring up at the ceiling.

Duster made a noise, half asleep. He wasn't feeling awful anymore, just not well.

"I wasn't told... too much... No..." Jeff sighed. He had given up on his toolbox as he was shaking too badly to properly screw in the needed bit. "I think I'm... doing fine now, however... I'm just still a bit short on breath..." He laughed, or tried to, but his lungs constricted and he just ended up coughing. "That was just really... really messed up... And I think everyone would agree..." He glanced over at his empty coffee mug. He was a bit too warm now, and he pulled the hoodie off of his head, so he was just wearing a light white shirt with an upside-down triangle on it. Stylized text underneath it read "UnnenicRune". He went to place the sweater down, but a small stain that definitely was not there before caught his eye. It was on the lower chest, just where his rib cage would've ended. It was a reddish brown and Jeff feared the worst, quickly trying to stop another panic attack. "W-was I... actually bleeding?!" He gasped.

Jessica, 12:35

Jessica slowly rose from where she had flopped down, significantly calmer than she was earlier, she checked through her bags again, finding a set of bobby pins tucked away she sighed loudly and pocketed them. Grabbing a pack of cigarettes and her lighter she headed for the door.

Emmanuel 12:36

"Oh hey, I see you calmed down, mind if i join you for your cigarette break?" Emmanuel guessed talking would be easiest if she was in her comfort zone, maybe he would get Jessica into a situation where she could finally accept a normal relationship, he would be up for it.

Jessica, hallway, 12:36

"Sure." She replied meekly, she wasn't in the mood to argue so she simply shrugged and moved on, leading Emmanuel to the armory. She examined the display case in question as she lit a cig, inhaling deeply as she examined the lock.

Emmanuel, Armory, 12:42

Emmanuel had never liked cigarettes, he never hated them either though, he'd been at enough social occasions to know how to smoke them but he wasn't the type of guy to carry them with him, he inhaled and felt the warmth fill his lungs, after which he exhaled and let the smoke out of his body.

"So, you seem to be quite adept at pick locking there, you done this before?" Emmanuel spoke as his eyes focused on the display case, he noticed that the shield had the coat of arms of the Teutonic order on it, that was very peculiar considering that this castle belonged to polish nobility who didn't exactly like the order... maybe they were spoils of a past war?

"Uh huh." Jessica said as she pulled the case of bobby pins from her pocket. She removed two from the case and promptly bent them straight before inserting them into the lock and slowly moving them around inside. "Remember that after party a few months back? We had beat some team from New York and one of the Tight-ends, Jack I think his name was? Was being a bastard towards some of the other girls, so I picked into his dorm room and his all of his clothes in a different snow bank. Think that was the last time I used this particular skillset." She said without looking up from the lock.

Emmanuel & Jessica (collab), Armory, 12:43-13:00

Emmanuel remembered the party, that jack dude had been flirting more then he should have done if he realistically thought it would actually succeed with any one girl. Well he did manage to get a girl into his room, not that he got much fun from it afterwards.

"Yeah, that guy was a bit of a prick, good to know that fucking with Jessica might lead to some repercussions. I'll be sure to stay on your good side" he laughed a bit before returning his concentration to the work Jessica was doing, not that he was sure what she specifically was doing to pick the lock aside from tinkering with a pair of bobby pins.

"Uh huh." Jessica said as she gave a hard twist on the pins, horribly bending one out of shape. "Fuck." she said, "Fucking cheap pins." she pulled the pin out of the lock and tossed it aside, pulling a fresh one from the pack as she resumed her work.

"What are you doing anyways? trying to twist the lock using those pins like they do in the movies? aren't those things too cheap for that work, shouldn't there be a key around here anyways?" Emmanuel sighed as he came a bit closer to her to try and get a better idea of what she was doing.

"No, of course not, don't be ridiculous." she said, not bothering to look up from her work. "The lower pin is used to put pressure on the pins inside the lock, the upper pin is used to push the pins that lock the lock in place, out of place, thus allowing you to rotate the lock." She paused to dispose of the remains of her cigarette before returning to her work. "Come on you bastard." She muttered.

She continued to work at the lock for a few moment, "Alright, this should just about do it." she said as she twisted at the lock. Bending another pin out of shape. "God damn. Fucking sturdy ass lock." she swore. With an exasperated sigh she went to stand up, accidentally placing her weight on the case and shoving it off the table. "Fuck!" She shouted.

The case came tumbling down from where it lay, miraculously though for one reason or another it managed to survive without the glass shattering, the pair looked at the case.

It was currently laying bottom up and they could read the following words, Franza Miecz, Below that, in English, it reads Behind the Widmo tapestry, in my room.

"Well then, something tells me we might find something that we could use to open this thing there, that or more secrets and ancient bullshit... So, I assume we'll go there for now?" Emmanuel asked as he stood up again gesturing towards the door

"Jesus Christ that was lucky." Jessica swore, staring at the case.

"You, uh, you go ahead." she said after a moment, not seeming entirely steady on her feet. "I, uh, I think I better, uh, sit down." she swallowed hard.

Emmanuel, obviously aware of Jessicas shock moved closer.

"Hey are you alright? We got lucky, lets just take it easy ok?" he worriedly said as he moved one arm over her shoulder.

"Its going to be alright, even if anything happens it'll probably be an idiot like grey that gets the short end of the stick, we'll just stick together and have some fun at that winter celebration and go home, ok? " Emmanuel smiled as he held her, not too tightly though as he was prepared to jump away at any moment if she were to react violently.

"Yeah, you're, you're probably right." she said, leaning against him slightly. They stood there for a moment, not talking or moving. "That, uh, feels kinda nice." She said eventually.

"Considering the fact that we got plenty of time here anyways, lets just calm down for a bit and then go to the room together, we can probably find more that way." He said while he guided her towards the wall where they could comfortably sit. He wasn't sure how far he could push his luck so he made sure to do it slowly, he was aware it probably looked really awkward but it was better then getting kicked in the nuts.

"Okay." She said quietly, allowing him to lead her over to the wall and sit down. Just awkwardly leaning against him, not saying anything.

Jessica

A small, contented sigh escaped her as she leaned against Emmanuel, she was enjoying this more than she cared to admit. She mentally rebuked herself for allowing herself to get attached like this, but Emmanuel was a nice guy and he seemed genuinely concerned about her. She leaned further against him, laying her head against his shoulder. It was nice, feeling like someone cares about you for reasons other than sex, maybe she didn't need to be afraid of attachment, she thought to herself. Maybe a normal relationship was what she wanted after all. At the moment though, she didn't care, all she cared about was snuggling closer to the taller Brazilian next to her.

  • Jeff- Later that night- Asleep

He had no idea how, but he had managed to fall asleep. It was relief, at least for a little while. He woke up on the ground, in military attire again. He was vaguely aware he was dreaming, yet he was locked in the cage of sleep, unable to wake up.

There was a low structure close. It sat low to the ground, made of concrete. Against his voice of reason, he began heading towards it. Where was he? He had no idea. Slits on the fortified walls were a common appearance, and the barrels of canons seemed to be leering out of each one, daring him to go further. Outside were vehicles parked haphazardly, smaller tanks were what came to mind.

A part of him wanted to try and hijack a tank. Dreaming up a glowing red start button and unlimited ammo was tempting... But he walked onward, stopping as his vision blurred. It felt like he was watching through a camera suddenly. And a bad one at that. He began to run towards the doors of the grand building as the colours shook and quivered, jumping of of their boundaries. His vision was distorted like a bad video feed, and as he rushed to open the doors, his vision darkened.

Instead, he was in an abandoned building. Ceiling beams hung off the room, laying splintered on the battered hardwood floor, where the bloodstained remains of a carpet were. Half of the walls were gone, crumbling with water damage. Pews on either side rotting away, consumed by moss. A tapestry half hung above an intricate altar, appearing to be ripped.

"Hello?" He called, sending a flock of birds out of the eaves. He stumbled back in surprise and tripped over a board, falling out the door. He could hear ghastly screams from inside the building, yet nobody seemed to be ther-

"GAH- OHMYGOD!" He yelled, putting a hand over his mouth and shooting upright in his bed. It was dark outside, only a small sliver of the moon left, and with the fire smoldering in the pit. The ram over the door seemed to glare at him in annoyance, and put his face in his hands. He had yelled very loud, even if Duster continued to snore away. He was hot and sweaty, and he was quite embarrassed, probably waking up half the castle over what? An abandoned church? He quivered, trying to calm his breath. "Bloody Hell," He muttered.
