yeah, like I said, BG stuff will not be signifcant, it'll be mostly BG expansion on filler that's on Rai's sheet already. And if it don't fit I'm all goods to edit and delete where need be. We good.

I mean I don't judge what people get worked up about, but Misthart Tower is more like an adventurer guild rather than an actual government, they do issue a currency and organize people, but Mistol is fundamentally still a bunch of randos inside some magic mist that just sorted themselves out...at least that's how it is so far.

And EnvelopeBees told me in DM that they have irl going ons recently and might not be too active, not sure about Gaius Danius Griinia though, I'm planning a tentative move on day for Friday.

Alright sorry but the move on post would be delayed to tomorrow since I am doing a full illustration for this one and it's not quiteeeee done yet. I'm trying to set up some world building-y stuff in the intro so in future character relations development subplots they can have nice places like corner stores and cafes to go and chill in...if the owners of those places wants you to chill there. I'm all for freedom in character creation but you can't lone wolf so hard you disconnect from human society, ya know.

Yeah all good boss. Thinking Rai would try to keep contact with more criminal type establishments and go scouting about to find other STF types/bars to figure out why Luden started up the ”000” STF.

Alright new IC post up

Other than Ryan and Tony who I designated tasks (by dice, it was random), you are free to choose between:

-Fighting a hoard of trash mobs
-Fighting one miniboss

Think over if your build is more single target or AoE focused and join one side, but try not to make it too lopsided.

Since this is a small group I'm just gonna let you guys sort yourselves out in these types of combat scenarios, but if it doesn't work too well I can designate groups in the future.

Mistol has some quite hardy citizens, it is an anarchy in a constantly apocalyptic world after all. I didn't want to make a world where the peasants just roll over and die to the lv1 enemy and are total liabilities, but they could still use some support anyways. I hoped I portrayed that well. But don't worry, there will be designated damsels and dudes in distress later to save.

And sorry for my absence, our area was hit by big once in a hundred years floods and the power/internet’s been down for weeks. I’d joke about being underwater but our neighbouring town was evacuated by helicopter cause the water was at their rooftop so, we’re not that bad lol.

Currently on mobile I’ll have a post up soon as I can use computer!! For battle places Omeda’s an all rounder so both choices are fine for him. He does burst AoE and steady single target dmg but endurance isn’t an issue with little guys sooo... I’ll go trash mobs. I wanna write some cool AoE moves

Unless y’all defy my expectations and wanna take the mobs instead of the boss lol

Jaclyn is defiantly close-range or long-range DPS. The only thing that could remotely be AoE is her spear, but even that is more single target-oriented since it's a drill. Now the citizens may be hardy but Jaclyn is going to prioritize them rather than looking badass. I think that was somewhat conveyed in my post. I was waiting for alleycat to post before I do, but I probably didn't convey that Jaclyn interacted with Carson well.

Would it help if I tell you that the answer to that question you ask have basically no bearing on the plot.

And also I tried to design this plot so that even if you know major spoilers it doesn't really detach from the tension or other more tangential mysteries, or at least I try to do that. I'm generally a believer of that "good twists are still good even if you know them beforehand", but I get not wanting to just know it.

I know what AoE is and now I have the power of knowing DPS too!! I don't know how to use it but now I know it lol And yeah in terms of GO TEAM!! we gots Gaius Danius Griinia getting lil' bossy-boy-Ryan barking out orders too. He was shipping trying to pair off Carson and Ryan himself and the other ship duo of Omeda and Jaclyn.

Don't worry there's plenty of time to bond with everyone because the big one is coming and you will be in great danger soon. Feel free to make your fighting small fry posts as cool as possible.
