I woke up early enough to work on my character a bit. Yay me.


I have this ultimate desire to use Jon Bernthal as my character's face.


I have never used a "famous person" as my character.. BUT IT FITS SO MUCH.


Especially since I saw the movie Fury.

I just mostly-finished my character.


Now I have to be gone all day.

@pandification I'm thinking of making your character a Staff Sergeant. He'll be the guy scuffing up the Joe's the most. That cool with you? If you're not up for it, you could just be a senior specialist haha.

Lol! I freakin loved that movie with a passion! I'm sure Kai will implement a little of that when the new guys come. @Kai Ghoul I noticed you made my character a M60 gunner, I'm sure she would approve! Aren't those heavy tho?
 
It sucks to suck! The only female Joe's gonna have to pull her weight if she wants to survive with the big boys. And if you noticed; I didn't give you an AG, unfortunately; Sfc Rico is a bit of a dick. But this will make you stronger! You'll have the toughest female in Vietnam when this is through hahaha.


 
It's not the weapon itself that's heavy; it's the 800+ rounds you will be carrying with it.

Make sure everyone's trackin' the organizations tab. Y'all's jobs in the platoon are posted there. FWI; RTO also is the one who calls for fire missions and medivac's.


I decided to implement a mortar team in the platoon for extra coverage. The mortar tube will be carried on the rucks, and the AG will carry the rounds. Everyone on the mortar squad will travel with the weapons squad until they get a vantage point where they can mortar the possible enemy positions advancing on weapons squad during enemy contact. @PlaguedWithInsanity will lead the mortar squad. If that's cool with you?

Oh nah, he'll be the one interrogating the Vietnamese civilians threatening their children and such if they don't give the info. Or just being a shithead to anyone who isn't his comrade or superior.

I'll just make him a designated search man of the weapons squad. Forgot what they are called, but the weapons squad usually has a designated two man search team that searches the body's of captured enemy; or suspected people who may be enemy. It will come to me in about 15 minutes... Just watch.

Hey, with me being a RTO, can I just try my best to say what I would assume Military RTOs would say or should I try to look up actual transcripts and go off of those?
 
Oh; that's simple. You would get a callsign, and it would go something like this:


" Firehog; this is Marauder Joker, fire mission as follows. "


Then you would give a made up 8 digit grid; probably something like 12345678 or just say:


Joker sent the fire mission details; allowing Firehog to receive and throw down hell.


Make sure you clarify what kind of hell you wanna rain on the enemy: HE or Willy Pete is probably your main options.
