Vampires Rule~~~~ Slave Rp

Bram already had his arm wrapped around her little body and pulling her even closer. Gods, she was even warmer in his arms now than before. His large hand wrapped around her little hand and he nuzzled her cheek with a soft peck on her temple. "Do not worry yourself, my dear," he said, his voice becoming near inaudible from exhaustion. "There's no one in the world that could come and hurt you. Not with me watching over you." He held her tight and left soft kisses along her neck before drifting closer to sleep.

Meanwhile, the figure stood at the edge of the forest next to oak tree. They were scribbling a note away while still looking up to the castle. Was that the girl they were using as bait in their plan? Funny how... familiar she looked. Bram must've been a sentimental old fool. That little notion made the mystery person smirk before tossing the note inside the knot hole and pulling their horse to go back into the woods. The plan would have commence tomorrow night. The person only hoped that Kiki was willing to participate and help everyone else.

"Oh yes, the family. Not blood related of course, but still important to me," any irritation

she still had melted away into a smile. "I hope you like them all, I have saved them all

from slave houses just like the one you came from. Some were so broken and beaten

down." She opened the front door and stepped inside, looking around her familiar abode.

There was a wrought iron chandelier with candles above the entryway, and matching

candleholders on the lighter walls. Two hallways seemed to go on forever, and a double door

marked 'Library' in script was directly in front of them. Various art pieces were scattered

against the walls of the wide hallways, everything from vases to mosaics could be seen.

Eva beamed and looked back at leon, hoping for some form of aproval at her house.

((@haters))

"Good, let's go and get breakfast. Cy will be up not too long from now, and he would not

be happy if we were wasting time," Natalie walked out of the room beckoning for Michelle

to follow, and Sylvia met up with her right outside the room. They walked down the long

hallway and into the kitchen, quickly grabbing a bowl, cereal, and some milk. "No time

for eggs sadly," Sylvia said with a frown, and put a filled bowl down on the table for

Michelle with a spoon.

The home looked much lighter and brighter than Leon had expected. What he had expected were bloodstains on the carpet, a few shackles here and there, and maybe a scream or two. Nothing of the sort. The place was just as bright and otherworldly as the owner, and that said something. Leon glanced at the double doors in front of him with interest and tilted his head when he read the text nearby. Sure, he wasn't much of a reader, but books always held fascinating worlds for him to explore and learn from, given that he was striving to be a writer himself. Keyword being 'was'.

"Hn..." he grunted, his tone neither satisfied nor disappointed. Merely... intrigued.

Kiki sighed tiredly when he embraced her in his arms. She was suddenly very tired, and realized she probably had been all along, she just hadn't noticed from her nerves. She relaxed a little and felt Bram doing the same. He was almost asleep after only a few moments. He was right; whatever that person was after, whatever they left in the stables, could wait. They would figure out soon enough what it was. She just hoped that it wasn't something that would put anyone at risk. Kiki remembered the others' plans, and it was unsettling. She pushed it out of her mind as best as she could for now. After it was gone, the rest of her worries and fears followed and she drifted into slumber.

Hours had passed by into the night and soon the other slaves were already busily working on their chores. Eric, with his mind heavy with what had happened yesterday and how he was to stay away from Kiki, shuffled to the stables quietly. He didn't even bother visiting Ophelia first to get breakfast. He opened the doors outside and went into the stables. The horses neighed at him and stamped their feet in demand of being fed. "All right, I hear you guys," he muttered before going to the hay bales. As he reached up to pull off a flake, a heavy satchel fell on his head. He yelped and stumbled backwards, holding his head. "Wh-what the--?!" he snapped before looking at the bag closely. Some of the contents spilled out, revealing a heavy silver canteen with a cross over it, a string of a rosary, and a large golden crucifix. Eric almost could breathe. Was this real? It had to be!

He looked out to the oak tree, knowing that there surely was a note in it. But he couldn't get it now, he had to rush this all inside before anyone saw him. He gathered the items and fed the animals before running back inside. He dashed to the kitchen and slammed the door open. Ophelia was in the midst of chopping an onion before leaping in a start. "Eric?! You stupid little man, what do you think you're doing?!" she snapped at him.

"It came... it came," he whispered holding up the satchel. "It's all we need. I think they want us to do it tomorrow morning! Why would they give this all to us now?!"

"Hush, boy, stop running your mouth," the woman said in a harsh whisper. "Where is Kiki?"

"I... I don't know. Do you think she's ready?"

"Ready for what?"

Eric gasped and hid the satchel behind his back when Joanna came in by surprise. "Kiki! I mean... uh, her injuries! Yeah, I'm wondering if she's healed enough to do her chores."

Joanna raised a brow and sighed heavily. "Right. Have either you seen my keys? I set them down after releasing all the slaves, but I haven't the slightest idea where they went."

Ophelia had to hide a little smirk. "No idea," she said. "But speaking of the girl, could you get her for me. I'm interested in her injuries as well."

"Well... I suppose the search for my keys can wait," the maid said cautiously. She left the kitchen in hurry to find Kiki, then realized she had forgotten to deliver the wake up call for her Master. "Damn those keys," she muttered as she switched directions, heading for Bram's room.

((@major))

"I hope that was a good 'hn'. The library, and all other things around the house and

yard, are open at all times. I don't like locks for most things, they do not give good

impressions at all. For instance, a white picket fence or a barbed wire one, everyone

knows which neighborhood is better. And besides, locks just mean secrets," Eva

explained, "Oh, I am sorry... I'm just rambling. One moment, the others are all

over the house, but there is a room you can meet them all, I just have to call

them." Eva went over to a small, steampunk-like, call box on the wall. She

pressed the button and spoke, "Hello all of you, I am back with the new guy,"

she giggled slightly, her voice echoing, "If you are not busy, which I know some

of you may be, could you please meet me in the media room? It would be nice

for him to meet some of you." Eva turned towards Leon after letting go of the button

and smiled at him, looking him in the eye. "I hope you are looking forward to meeting

the family."

The vampire was trying too hard to come off as someone different. Perhaps she was nice and had nothing to hide, and perhaps not. Leon could not be too sure, especially since he was now in service to her. He was uneasy with meeting so many people, and he found himself dreading the moment if they were all cheery like the vampire was. However, as odd as it was, it gave him the opportunity to speak to actual human beings who were able to form coherent sentences. Would they be able to help him in some way?

Leon stuffed his hands into his pockets and stared suspiciously at Eva.

"Relatives? Friends?"
With a small, distasteful downturn of his lips, he said, "People like me?"

Hearing the hustle and bustle of the other slaves busily attending their chores, Kiki woke up and stretched a little. Looking around the dark room, she remembered that she was in Bram's bedroom, in Bram's bed, in Bram's arms. Strange. This would have been her worst nightmare a few months ago. She glanced over to see that the daylight no longer peeked in through the miniscule cracks between the glass of the window and the cloth of the curtains.

Rolling over, she saw that Bram was still asleep. It was unusual to see him looking quite this peaceful. His dreams must be far more comforting than this reality. She smiled the tiniest bit and had just curled up closer to him when she heard the approach of someone's footsteps.

It had been such a long time since Bram last had a peaceful nights rest. The feeling his frail little love in his arms soothed so many aches and pains in his body and mind. Her sweet scent laced his dreams with lovely imagery and the sound of her soft breathing was like a song to his ears. He hardly woke when she shifted around, still off in his lucid dreaming. But even in his dead slumber he couldn't escape the sound of footsteps coming to his door. He winced at every pace, silently praying it would go away and to leave the two of them be.

Then came the knock at the door, the echoing sound making him groan softly and pull Kiki closer to him. "What is it?" he said in an irritated grumble.

"Master Bram, it is night time now," he heard Joanna say before opening the door a crack. "It's time for your nightly rounds."

"Fine, fine," he said sitting up a bit. "Give me a few minutes."

"Yes, sir. Now if you'll excuse me, Master, I must wake Kiki so she may have her wounds inspected."

Bram waved off to her. "No need. I'll send her to the kitchen in a few minutes, Joanna. That will be all."

Joanna peeked in a little further out of curiosity and her face turned a bright pink when she saw Kiki curled up beside her master. She was almost ready to speak out, but held her tongue and bowed out before closing the door. Bram groaned again and combed his hair back before looking down at Kiki. "I suppose, for now, I'll have to let you go for a while," he said to her softly, taking a stray hair from her face and placing it behind her ear.

((@major sorry its short, on my phone))

"Well, not blood relations. But if you mean humans by 'people like you', then yes. They probably wont all come, but that's ok. Its a busy time of night, the media room is just down here," Eva pointed down the right hallway and walked down there. After a small while there was a hallway that went left and a door. She opened the door and motioned for Leon to go inside. The room was a medium sized meeting room with a large desk and projector. There were 5 people inside already.

Kiki's eyes were half open, trying to make her lose herself in her dreams once again. She fought it, but the tap on the door made her realize that there was no return now. She would have to leave this spot and go do her nightly chores as usual. She hoped that she would find out what was in the stables, maybe even go retrieve it herself, but she knew Bram would never let her go out there by herself. Not with his demons prowling the perimeter of the forest.

Kiki heard Joanna's voice shatter the silence. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she knew that Joanna was looking right at her. She listened as Joanna mentioned Kiki's wounds, and Bram then promised to send her to the kitchen soon. After Joanna closed the door, Kiki sat up, swinging her legs over the side of the bed and standing up, the hardwood floor cold on her toes. She looked back at Bram, sure she was looking quite frightful after such wonderful sleep.

"I suppose I should go. I'm sure the whole house already knows I'm here with you rather than in my room. That's sure to spread like wildfire," she said, turning pink. She wasn't embarrased, but she knew the longer she stuck around, the more suspicious of her the others would become. The last thing she needed was for Joanna or Ophelia to interrogate her. "I'm sure I'll be okay to do my chores as usual," she insisted. "But if you think I should go down to the kitchen anyway, I will." The last people she wanted to run into at this point were Eric and Ophelia, who were determined to get Kiki to injure Bram so they could run off into the woods....

She tucked a stray hair behind her ear as she awaited Bram's response. "I can... I can also go see what was left in the stables, if you would like."

((@Kindra - No worries))

Odd. The room reminded Leon of a college lecture hall, or at the very least a movie theater. Perhaps it was a movie theater, but it would make no sense that there would be one in a place this old, unless Eva had been continuously remodeling. Leon looked about while trying to keep his expression lax and uninterested. Suffice to say, he was curious and slightly overwhelmed by this area, but he didn't want anyone to know just yet. He turned his attention to the people in the room and took them in his sight.

Bram shook his head and stood up from his side of the bed. "I told you, you need not worry about it. I'll take care of it myself, my dear." He scratched his head and absentmindedly looked at the standing mirror. But like always there was no reflection of his face or his messy hair. Still he probably did look like an awful mess. He sighed once more and circled around the bed to Kiki. "As for your chores, well... do you still think of yourself as a lowly slave? I won't have any of it. If you see something that you really feel needs your attention, I won't stop you. But remember that you aren't considered a slave to me anymore." He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Just enjoy my home in anyway you like. Your chores can be taken care of by some other slave."

He turned her around and gently moved her hair over her shoulders. The deep claw marks were already healing nicely, hardly something that really needed Ophelia's expertise in the matter. She knew how to treat her patients well enough so that a second trip often wasn't necessary. So why was she so adamant to send Joanna to find Kiki. He ran his cold hand down her back and sighed. "I wish I could keep you in here a little longer. But you are right. I don't want the slaves thinking badly of you in being in the master's bed," he muttered as he pulled his hand away. "Besides, I suppose I have work to do. A friend of mine is sending me one of his slaves with the intent of learning how to play the violin. A far cry from listening to your wonderful sounds, but it has to be done."

He then turned Kiki around and held her cheek. "But I am rambling. Go and see what Ophelia wants from you, then go about any business you like. Just don't go outside and avoid that... boy if you can."

((@major))

Eva looked around at the five there, then looked at Leon, "I have to go prepare some things. Get yourself acquainted with everyone else if you would. I shall see you later." She turned and left, the door closing after her.

Of the five there, two were looking at Leon with big smiles on their faces. One seemed bored, another shy, and the last curious. The two smiling people walked forward, one girl and one boy. The boy spoke, "Hey, its really nice to meet you, this is Kiki, and I am Mike." Mike had an arm around Kiki, they were both blonde and looked like brother and sister.

Kiki nodded. Even though she didn't want to go see Ophelia, she wasn't about to disobey. Something inside her felt like she still belonged to him in ways other than love. She'd spent all this time taking orders, and it would be a hard habit to break. But she quickly left Bram, walking down the hall to the main lobby area, then crossing to the wing that would lead her to Ophelia in the kitchen. She already wished she was back there with Bram, warm, comfortable, and safe. She no longer felt safe with the other slaves, they were no longer the ones that wanted to protect her. They now wanted her to be part of a plan that had gotten the last slave in her position killed. Basically she was bait. She was the sacrifice for their escape. There was only a small chance of her getting away- that is, if she actually wanted to. But she didn't. And she knew they would all hate her for it.

Already the slaves were whispering around her, watching her leave Bram's room in almost a quiet daze. Had she slept with the master? Did he interrogate her to rat out other slaves? Or maybe she was telling secrets willingly for his fancy. The whispers were so low to be heard by Kiki's ears, but the glares were enough of a tell tale. But were they hating her for the wrong reason? When she entered Ophelia's kitchen, there were already a couple slaves there getting the last of breakfast. They looked over to the rose haired girl, their expressions switching to an almost insulted look. Putting their noses up in the hair and whispering harsh insults between each other, they left the kitchen with their food, not wanting to be around the 'Master's Pet.'

Ophelia however paid no heed to them. "So there you are," she said pulling her apron off, making sure they were alone. "Been wondering where you were. Bet it takes a lot of energy to fake it with that bastard. Ah, but forget about that for now." She snapped her fingers, Eric coming from the shadows and still clutching to the bag. "We had a little visit this morning from our friend. Left us plenty of presents for you to use. Garlic, holy water, crosses; it's all here."

"And we got a note as well," Eric whispered. "It says that the plan's happening in the morning. We have everything else ready. We've taken Joanna's keys, we'll make sure each slave door and the front door is open so they can come in while you are taking care of Bram." He couldn't stop beaming a smile. "Can you believe it? We're so close to freedom that I can taste it! And if you're feeling extra brave..." He dug deeper in the satchel and pulled out a mallet and stake. "This is for the final blow!"

Kiki ignored the stares of the other slaves. She didn't want to know what they were saying. They were probably misinformed anyway, so it didn't matter what lies and rumors spread around her. As long as they didn't start anything, let them tell lies all they wanted. She made her way down to the kitchen and pushed open the door. As she walked in, two other slaves gave her unpleasant glances and left the room. As she said before: wildfire.

Kiki had hoped that somehow she would be lucky, that Ophelia wouldn't be here for once. But alas, she stood there and greeted Kiki as warmly as ever. Eric came out as well, holding a bag. No, not just a bag. It was the satchel that had been delivered to the stables last night. So he'd gotten to it first, then. He dumped the contents onto the table and her stomach churned. Everything in it was something made to kill a Vampire, or at least wound one.

"Tomorrow morning?" She asked. What should she say? That she had gone back on the plan, and was betraying them all because she'd fallen in love with the person they were trying to get away from? No. She was going to make her own plan, not be bait in theirs. She gathered all of the things back into the satchel, closing it and picking it up. "Just... Be ready to run." She said. "I don't know that I can hold him off."

The slaves would escape, and Bram would be unharmed. How would he know they were escaping so long as they were quiet and he was distracted? He couldn't leave his room in the daytime, when the slaves would be making a break for it. As long as Kiki kept him distracted, he wouldn't even know it was happening.

"whatever time we get from the distraction will be enough," Ophelia said. "We just need you to do your part. If he opens those doors and sees us running, it'll only take a blink of an eye for him to close the curtains and kill us all. So don't. Mess. This. Up."

Eric nodded and then touched Kiki's hand gently. "And we'll be there to help you if it get to be too much. We won't leave you behind. But are you sure you can handle this? We need you, Kiki and well... I need you..."

Meanwhile, Bram was making his usual rounds in the house with the new slave girl by his side. "You'll have to understand the order of my home if you with to leave it alive and body intact," he said as the littler blonde woman followed him closely. "If I say to a slave 'Jump' they won't ask me how high; they'll already know how high to jump. Every mistake will be judged and punished and failure to listen to me will result in your untimely death." His voice grew crueler and darker with every word, making the woman flinch in fear. Inwardly he smiled, knowing that his earlier encounter with his beloved hadn't soften his tactics. Still the slave look far off, almost distracted from his order. He was slowly feeling anger seep through him. "Something on your mind, slave?" he hissed at her.

She swiveled her head and looked up to him. "O-Oh nothing, sir," she whispered as they turned in the music room. "I've.... just been hearing the other slaves talking."

"I'm not interested in the humor you get from hearing other slaves," he abruptly replied.

"No, no, I just... Well, I've heard that you... like the taste of your slaves in more... intimate situations."

That made his step stop. So the slaves had seen Kiki and like she had said, the rumors spread like flames in a dry forest. "...Go on," he said with gritted teeth.

The slave bit her thumb and came closer to him. "Well... I figured that maybe you would go easier on me if you and I... go to your bedroom?"

It hit him like a ton of bricks. 'They'll never respect you, now!' a voice called in his head. 'They'll all act like bar wenches around you for favors! They see you as weak, repressed, A MERE MORTAL MAN! PUNISH THIS ONE. PUNISH THE ONE WITH RUBY EYES! KILL THEM BOTH!'

"...Tell me my dear. Are you right handed or left?" he asked as he picked up a violin.

The girl looked up at him with confusion. "Uhm... right handed?" she said quietly. Before she could blink her hand was in his. Taking her thumb and her index finger he turned them both backwards, breaking them and crushing the bone. He then turned them both back the girl screaming in agony, the sound echoing the halls. He then turned her around, tore the back of her dress to show skin from her shoulder to the small of her back, rose his beloved riding crop and struck her three times.

When she fell to the floor sobbing, he picked her up by her hair and whispered, "The only thing I want from you is your undivided attention and perfection. You have neither skill." He snarled and stood her upright, handing her the violin. Now... play."

Leon was many things. He was talented, introverted, sociable, bright, observant, cold, and sarcastic. To the vampire, he was cold and seclusive, but she deserved the treatment. Just because she was different from the other vampires didn't warrant a full-on hug and benefit of the doubt. However, to these people, Leon couldn't afford to be as cold as he was with the vampire. They did not bleed him dry or snarl at him like a nightwalker, and they did not deserve retaliation.

He faked a smile and turned a little bit away from them, his attention completely focused on them for the moment.

"Likewise, Mike,"
he said with only a small trace of sarcasm to his voice. He gave a curt nod to Kiki and addressed her. "And you too, Kiki. The name's Leon."

Kiki pulled her hand away, putting the satchel over her shoulder. "Just get out into the sunlight as quickly as you can. I can't guarantee anything, so don't rely on the fact that he's hurt. He may be too strong." She quickly left the room, not wanting to talk to either of them anymore. She quickly went to her bedroom, shutting the door and hiding the satchel underneath her bed. About to sit down, she heard screams down the hall. Standing up, she quickly changed from her nightclothes, deciding they weren't proper for running around in. She threw on a lavender sun dress and sprinted to the room where the screams came from. Pushing open the door, she saw Bram standing over a bloody girl who was sobbing and attempting to play violin. "W-what did you do?!" She exclaimed, looking at the girl's gruesome-looking hand.

"Well hello Leon, my name is Rocky," said the man who had looked curious, and he

still looked curious. "I don't know where everyone else is, we have more than five

here, but hey, it means we get first looks at the new guy 'Leon'. What's your opinion

of the house and everything so far? Eva can be a bit overbearing, and its so odd

considering what she is, isn't that right Jill?"

The bored looking girl looked up at her name and rolled her eyes at Rocky,

"Jillian. My name is Jillian. I hate that nickname. Hi Leon. Nice to have another

member of this dysfunctional 'family'."She looked annoyed. The shy girl glanced

up at Leon, but stayed silent.

Leon hesitated. Mike, Kiki, Rocky, and Jillian... What kind of a name was Rocky? It was like giving a large man the name of 'Tiny': it meant no sense. The young man shook his head and turned to the shy girl for a moment. Perhaps the girl was forced to be present. Maybe she was dragged along by the others and had no incentive to come or be welcoming. Leon could sympathize with her, even if he did not know her name.

He turned back to Rocky with a small downturn of his lips. The vampire that ran the household was odd, but she wasn't on the top of Leon's "must-care-about" list.

"You said it yourself: overbearing. Everything so far is." He folded his arms and leaned against a wall before fixing everyone with a scrutinizing gaze. "Tell me... How long have you guys been here?"

The shy girl looked down at her feet, her longish curly black hair in stark contrast to

her pale skin. She wasn't good with new people, her 18 year old frame was battered

from abuse, both emotional and physical. Kiki spoke, her voice had a sing song quality

to it, "Well, Mike and I have been here for a long while. We're both 16, fraternal twins,

and we've been here since we were about 12." The two of them were very bubbly,

and it showed. Rocky spoke next, "I have been here about a year, well, almost. 11

months last week." Jillian sighed then spoke after Rocky, "I have been here a year

and a half. She," pointing to the shy girl, "has been here for a long time. I forget

how long." The shy girl looked up again at Leon, looking for a longer time before looking

back at Jillian, "I'm 18, almost 19. She got me when I was 13," she spoke with a quiet

voice. She looked back at Leon, wondering what his story was, she was never really

ok with her's.

He raised a brow to the screaming Kiki, holding up his riding crop. “She insulted my morals by offering her body to me and I punished as so. What, did you expect me to change my teaching habits, my dear?” he asked her as the girl cried loudly. She was struggling to hold her bow with her broken hand and shook violently. Bram paid her no heed and made no expression as Kiki looked at him in horror. “You have to understand, this is the way I teach. When I am through with her, she will play beautifully for all. If not, well… you know how it goes,” he waved off to her. “But you don’t need to be here to see this, dear. If you will please leave now.”

He turned back to the crying girl with an expectant look. She flinched in fear and bracing through the pain, she began to play. She continually messed up the first few notes, earning a deathly glare from the master vampire. She swallowed loudly and struggled a heavy breath as she started over, and within a few moments was playing an older piece by a classical master. He could still hear the missing notes and the screeching sounds, each mistake making him seethe.

Kiki shook her head. "How does maming someone help? They can learn just as quickly if they don't have broken fingers. Probably faster." She crossed her arms, gave the girl an apologetic look, and left the room. She couldn't stand around and watch him do that to someone. It only brought back memories of when she'd first arrived here and saw him only as a monster. "People can change.." She mumbled, trying to convince herself as she walked back to her room, slamming the door behind her and falling back onto her bed. "He can change."
