I'll go with a Nature of Caregiver and a Demeanor of Pedagogue.

Most of her kinfolk are non-weres, but they are all supportive of the Garou tribes and do their best to aid the members of the pack. Her family is a large one, with several siblings, some of which are also weres. Amanda has only recently experienced her first Change, and is still considered a youngster by the rest of the pack.

So, am I related to this werewolf family, and if so, what is my relation to them?

Is there anything about them that you would like me to implement into the story or setting?

Use your own best judgement. I love seeing your posts as a player, so I am looking forward to your work as a Storyteller.

We could be cousins, or even sisters. Our pics look close enough to one another.

Awww, shucks, I do not deserve the compliments! You make me too happy.

Now! Depending on how you are related, it could make a difference in how much Kelsey knows about supernatural.

On the other, the closer Kelsey is to Amanda, the more likely Amanda will.wamt to help with revenge.

It looks like the Detective is going to be surrounded by three redheads.

Them being gingers may be more scary than their supernatural afflictions.

Lol yes. She will be feeling the pangs of hunger quite readily. Hunting will be among the first things on her mind.

No! That does give me an idea.

Kelsey is new to the vampire world. How about Kira is the one who helps Kelsey learn to be a vampire? Sherwood Sherwood bambiighoul bambiighoul
Kira would know the general basics probably but I’m sure she could teach her a better way to feed / help with feeding , catch and release , compulsion all that lol

The Prince wouldn't be concerned. So long as Kelsey learns the basics. And to make sure she doesn't break the Masquerade, most importantly.

Couldn't ask for an easier job right? Just got to babysit a mortal and new blood.

So, does that make her my Mentor?

Technically, I suppose it would. While the normally the Prince might have assigned a more experienced vampire, he and his assets have their hands full at the moment.

This keeps Kelsey out of trouble(if only he knew) until this problem blows over.

I can assign an NPC mentor, if you'd rather. But I figured this way the players have solid reasons for some form of relationship.

Up to you. I had planned on a NPC Mentor, but if you want to make it Kira, I am cool with it.

Sherwood Sherwood
I did just notice you put in a 2dot merit for a Mentor.

What did you want out of that? So that I can make it worth your while.
I put the points towards that as a part of my backstory, having the Prince assign someone to keep me out of trouble and teach me the ropes of being a vampire in his city.

If you'd like, Kira can be assigned as your mentor as a story gift, and you can have those dots refunded.

Or if you'd rather, I can make a NPC for that purpose. While they won't be as hands on or around as much, you will have them on speeddial and they will answer.

Which would you like to do?

Also, your Character sheet is accepted, Sherwood.

I can always put those points somewhere else and have Kira as my teacher in this.

Alrighty. The Prince will be sympathetic to Kelseys plight. And while he will not be a mentor, nor buddy-chummy, he will have given her some ways to ease into the transition.

Do you have any requests of anything you would like to happen or to see in this adventure, my friend? Aside from the eventual confrontation with your Sire.

Alrighty, i look over your CS and Kira is accepted.

2 things,

1. While not needed, it would be very helpful to have the mechanical effects of your Disciplines listed, or if you would rather not, then the page number of where it appears in the core book so I can reference it quickly in play. (As well for relevant backgrounds and flaws)

2. Now unless my math is bad, which it very well may be, I have only counted 27 points spent in the Experience tab. Meaning you should have 1 freebie point left to spend.

Amanda is accepted!

While I don't require a written history of a character, could you tell me some more about her here? That way I can better integrate her into the world on my end.

I know she is a college professor, with a focus on History. And a classic enough southern woman to enjoy guns and hunting. And I'm going to assume a healthy fixation with sweet tea.

1. What sort of personality does she have in general? From the nature and Demeanor i take that while she does tend to be a bit of a lecturer, she is quiet motherly. Is there anything else you'd like to share?

2. How many of her immediate family does she have, how many are Garou, and does she have a good relation with them?

3. How did she receive a klaive being so newly furred?

4. How does she stand within her tribe?

5. How does she feel about the fragile peace between the vampires and garou in this region?

6. Is there any ideas you would like me to implement with the Children of Gaia tribe in this region?

7. Is there anything that you would like to see or have happen to Amanda during this game? Kira and Kesley both have Sires that are going to be trouble. Any sort of sub plot you would like to have for yourself?

Amanda is a motherly sort, feeling the need to protect and care for those around her. She even takes extra time for her students with extended office hours before and after class to give them as much opportunity to speak with her if needed.

She has three older brothers and one younger sister. Two of her brothers are werewolves, along with her mother. Amanda has good relations with them, even as the youngest of the family pack.

It was fairly soon after Amanda experienced her first shapeshift that she was able to lay claim to her Klaive. It was during a large party of fellow weres to celebrate the appearance of a new cub in the pack that one of the more experienced members of the pack started talking some shit about her family, saying some rather unkind things about Amanda and her siblings. Feeling a bit spunky, she goes up to the offending Garou and challenges him to a fight, and promptly kicks his fuzzy ass in front of the whole party. Feeling that she had redeemed herself and her kin, Amanda left the wounded warrior on the ground and started to walk away when he leaps to his feet and pulls his Klaive intent on doing some serious damage to her. With a series of rapid-fire kicks and punches, she once more puts a beat down on the wolf in front of her, and as he lay whimpering, she yanks the Klaive from his hand and claimed the weapon for herself, earning a bit of a reputation in the pack, but not all the elders are in favor of such a young pup having a powerful artifact like that, and they watch her like a hawk.

Amanda is viewed as a rising star in the pack, especially after her victory over the one were that pulled his Klaive on her.

Vampires are a mystery to her, having been warned by her family to avoid the bloodsuckers as much as possible. She knows that the Prince of the city has a tremendous amount of power, too much to try and fight, and Amanda understands that the uneasy truce between the vampires and werewolves is a necessary evil. But it is not something that she is happy about.

I think that dealing with being forced to work with two vampires (even one that is family) will cause a bit of tension that I will enjoy gaming out.

And I suppose it is time i tell you of the Prince.

Jon Cherro, of the Ventrue. A spaniard who has been in power here since the late 1800's.

Not many in Asheville know the individual of Jon Cherro, as he keeps himself and his records well hidden from public eye. Yet, like most Princes, the man has his fingers in many many pies.

Regardless! Most find him rather amiable for a Ventrue. Except for Anarchs. He has taken pride in keeping his domain running smoothly, and is very harsh on those who endanger the Masquerade or anyone who endangers his operations. With some of his less popular rules being frequent rationing of wild humans.

He respects a bit of spunk and ambition, so long as it comes with the self discipline to keep oneself from biting off more than one can chew. And so long as they don't try to reach too high.

Rural cities like this are not too popular with Vampires. They lack meaningful populations, making it to feed without investigation. And the often conservative tendencies make it hard for the more hedonistic blooded to enjoy themselves. Not to mention the countryside is infested with werewolves.

But Jon Cherro saw an opportunity to take advantage of. It took him almost a century, but he had managed to broker a sort of peace with the local Garou Tribes.

While neither side pretends to be friends, there have been perks to keeping it.

Jon Cherro has invested well in Garou run farms. Specifically that of livestock as food for vampires. He has often intervened in keeping Garou territories from being commercially developed. While no eco warrior, it keeps them from coming into the city to bother his vampires. They got their territory, he has his. As well, the Prince supplies tips regarding hunters so long as the garou do the same.

While his intentions aren't necessarily saintly, it at least works. For the most part, they leave each other alone.

Of course, it isn't perfect. Local garou and local vampires have beef to hash out frequently enough. Fights aren't unheard of, but they don't often result in true death. It is too be expected being so close. Yet both the Garou and Vampires crack down hard on outsiders attempting to do the same.

But Jon Cherro seems a simple enough Prince. Don't rock the boat, and you won't have reason to be on his bad side. It is very rare that he will do anything for someone for free, he is a Ventrue after all, he has people to help get you what you need. Guns. Food. Cars. Sun-proof homes. Discrete Construction teams. Drugs. Etc.

Just be careful not to end up in debt to him. He may not always ask for money in return, but he always plans to be paid back with interest. And he never forgets someone who owes him.

Its not much, but it should give you some idea of who the Prince is and how he runs his city.

bambiighoul bambiighoul Kira you have a debt to pay, for Jon Cherro having accepted you into his city and giving you a fresh start. This babysitting gig is one of the ways you will be paying it back. Showing the new vamp the ropes is another. You know better than to disappoint him.

Thankfully you don't have to deal with many vampires. But given Amanda's tendencies, there is one ghoul she is familiar with.

Floyd Miller, owner of the creatively named "Floyd's Guns and Ammo". He is one of the main suppliers for the Prince, and a popular place for Garou, given that Floyd always seems to know how to get what a customer wants, as well as custom work and modifications. But these aren't services given to muggles, and they don't come cheap.

Sherwood Sherwood
You don't know much yet. The Ghoul in police station is the only one you know, but it has also been hinted that the Police Captain is also in Jon Cherro's pocket. This has given you plenty to think about. Of what cases were real or what were fabricated, of how much you might have unwittingly done to keep vampires secret.

But, you can think about that in a sun proof Guest Room at the Prince's compound. When you arrived. He didn't let you leave. You weren't ready for that yet.

He did tell you that you were moving. A team is already being sent to move your furniture from your apartment to your new vampire approved domicile. Something he assures you will thank him for later.

It will be ready by the next night. But until then you can start on paying him back, and learning from someone who is going to introduce you to this new world.

And yes, he has said he will inform you on updates regarding this rogue who is your Sire. He has already sent a coterie to try and track him down and brought to the Prince for judgement.

I’m not really the best at math either 😂 if I do where can I spend the 1 point ?

I might recommend buying a point of Willpower. It may not seem as exciting as a merit or background, but given that Kira has some flaws that might make her fly off the handle, upping this might be handy for those willpower rolls you will need to make.
