I am considering adding a new flaw of Enemy in the form of the one Garou that I claimed the Klaive from. Would that equal a 2 point bad guy?

Awesome. I'll add it to my sheet.

Now! Your enemy. Is there anything about him you'd like to share. Or would like to see from him?

I was thinking he might be a reoccurring rival of yours, occasionally popping up to cause you some trouble. Looking to best you, reclaim his honor and his klaive. Sometimes you might win. Sometimes he might. Such is the dynamic I'm picturing.

Any plans for a start date?
Here in a day or two I'm hoping. Got to think and write up a starting post.

Just the kind of thing I was thinking too. I was picturing the other were to be a bit of a bully, wanting to try and establish himself as a superior in the pack over the newly transformed cub.

I think I can manage that. A bit of a hot-head. A bullyish personality. I'm also thinking that he will be growing with you. Just as you grow stronger, he will be too. So you will need to be on your toes. Cause you might find that during such a confrontation, he is might have gotten ahead.

Thankfully he doesn't want to kill you. Beat you down. Humiliate you, as you did him. But not kill you. He may not be the most honorable, but he isn't that far gone. So you need not worry about dying to him, however the klaive is on the line. But if he does win, and you lose the klaive, you will have the opportunity to win it back.

He isn't a villain. Just a werewolf being a werewolf.

Alrighty, with a minor intro under our belt, we will be getting into giving your characters their task. Pardon the lack of excitement, I will be sure to get you something soon as I can.

Now! I would like you all to know that the plot is in your hands. The narrative I am going to write will be based on the actions of your characters and what you want as players. There is nothing ahead that is set in stone. I am a bit underprepared, admittedly, but day by day I am going through the books and learning more I can add to the world and how. And while the premise of our game is simple, it more than welcomes you all to add in your ideas of things you all would like to see and do and experience in the VTM world. We have sires and rivals to contend with, but you are encouraged to add to the main plot as well.

Which reminds me!

Sherwood Sherwood
I can not remember if you said you had any plans for who your Sire was. I think you said you didn't, but I wanted to be sure. Could you clarify that for me? Its okay if you don't, as I have some ideas for him.

I did not have any set ideas for the Sire. I wanted to leave it open for you to use as you wish.

Blood max: 12
Spending per turn: 1
Current: 4
Hunger: You feel effects of hunger at 3 points (7 - self control)

However! Since you had her feed, ill go ahead and say that you add 2 from it, as per normal feeding rules. Your current Blood is 7/12.

Sherwood Sherwood
Blood max:15
Spending per turn: 3
Current blood: 6
Hunger: you feel effects of hunger at 4 points. (7 - self control)

Now! Do keep track of these numbers as they are pretty important. So keep them written down somewhere. (I can make a place to put reference for everyone if they'd like to record things without messing with their CS every time).

But for the vamps specifically I'd like to ask, how much emphasis would you like me to place in hunger? Given we have a new blood among us, I thought it only right that we do give appropriate attention and take advantage of the fun and drama it offers. I am thinking of imposing a -1 dice penalty to willpower or certain other rolls when in the hunkered state. I am more than willing to hear objections or suggestions here.

1. If your vamp is hungry or you want me blood points or just an opportunity to feed, let me know! I will present what opportunities are available when avaliable.

2. I liked the idea of predator types in 5e (pg 175, 5e core). As such I would like to try bringing over a small part of them. Namely adding a simple specialty in relation to your preferred method of hunting. For example, Kira is a "Siren" and specializes in feeding through means of seduction and intimacy. As such, i would allow her a +1 in any of her pursuits to feed in that manner.

Kelsey may be too young to have a predator type yet, but her morals and methods can dictate how effective she might be in one over others. It is optional and doesn't have to be decided now, and can be changed later if the character changes. As she learns to hunt, falling into a type is an easy +1 in gaining blood that way.

It would also not exclude you from other ways of feeding, of course.

With Kelsey being so new, she will have to develop a hunting style. I like the idea of having to worry about my blood pool. It is one of the downsides of the vampire, and without keeping track of it can off balance the game.

Those are my thoughts as well. I wasn't suggesting ignoring it, though. Its still a big mechanic. But rather if you wanted me to push for the narrative implications of it, and more impactfully punish being hungry.

And I am not forgetting you and our dear Amanda!

While recovering rage and gnosis are vastly different from Blood. The concept still applies to you in that you can ask "hey Rex, can you piss Amanda off, plz? I need some rage."

Just as readily! I'll do my best to keep track of giving her temporary renown for her deeds. I may award some here and there, and you may ask if something you have done is worthy of it. So keep track of how much you have. As well, I'll make sure there will be opportunities to perform rites of accomplishment, as well as others upon your request. Additionally, fights with your rival will always grant you a chunk of temporary renown or take it away depending on whether you win or lose.

And lastly, your Delirium. As a player, take note that the Detective has willpower in spades (wp 10). He will not be affected by the Delirium and won't necessarily respond with fear, as he will he will recognize you as a monster and remember it clearly as real.

This will make your job a bit easier at times, but also runs the risk of him trying to pop a cap in your head, depending on his disposition or if he knows you.

I have not dived as deep into the WTA books yet. So I may need your help a bit there in keeping track of stats and keeping the garou lore consistent.

One more quick question for you, we have the basic personality of your rival. But I will need a breed for him. I can choose, or you can give me your preference. Metis was going to be my original choice to give him a more brutish appearance to add to his savage disposition. Lol so I can make him look like Sabertooth from X-men. But also to make the sting of his defeat to you all the more infuriating for him given the stigma that surrounds his breed.

What duels you have with him will likely result in a frenzy for one or both of you. As such the breed will have a strong effect on what happens if the frenzy goes wrong. Hence why I am asking, so as not to put you on the spot should the dice gods be cruel that day.

I'm definitely good with a more detailed/narrative approach to feeding and hunger. I definitely want to really play out Kira's feedings lol the seduction aspect of it is really fun for me. With the points/blood points like my 7, what can I spend that on? also as a reminder some of the things I've added make hunting for me easier if you look at my character sheet but my prey exclusion is also a thing.

Alrighty, Blood points!
Sherwood Sherwood bambiighoul bambiighoul

1. Every night when you awaken, you will lose one blood point. (Awakening this first night is considered mechanically free)

2. You spend blood to heal yourself. A point of blood per health level recovered per turn. This includes bashing and lethal. Aggravated damage costs more.

*note: Spending blood is the ONLY way for you to heal. Given that you are dead, you will not heal naturally.

3. You may spend a point to increase an attribute by 1 for an entire scene. You can do this up until the Maximum stat limit as determined by your generation. For both of you, it is 5. For every dot you get beyond the max, it only lasts 3 turns.

4. You may "give" your blood points to another vampire. But the donation comes with the risk of establishing a Blood Bond, as you are letting them feed from you.

5. You may let the a mortal consume a point of blood to turn them into a ghoul. Animals are an option but I believe that requires the Animalistic discipline.

6. You may grant yourself the "Flush of Life". By running the blood through your system you lose your paleness, you breath, you have a pulse, and for all intense porpoises you seem alive and could probably fool a nurse. I think you may also be able to ingest things without becoming sick. Very handy for passing as human. This is also required to partake in sexual activities.

The cost of this is 8 minus your humanity. So for Kira or Kelsey, this costs 2 points of blood for a scene.

*note: bambiighoul bambiighoul Kira has a merit that lets her look as alive. This will do in most circumstances for those who are looking, but you will need to use this ability if you wish to do more than just look alive. Including sexual activity.

7. Lastly, you spend blood to use disciplines. At the cost as described in said discipline.

Then that is exactly what we will do!

Is there a way to gain blood points ? Does feeding give us blood points or does that only decrease our hunger ?

Is there a way to gain blood points ? Does feeding give us blood points or does that only decrease our hunger ?
A typical human has a total of 10 blood points in them. In comparison, a bag of blood is a single point. Animals, depending on the species, will have a range of points in them to replenish your pool. The only way that you can recover blood is to feed on someone/something. The good news is that you can take a few points here and there from mortals without killing them, or you can drain them dry and find a way to dispose of the body.

As a side note, you can safely take 3-4 blood points from a human and allow them to live through the process.

Is there a way to gain blood points ? Does feeding give us blood points or does that only decrease our hunger ?

Feeding is the only way to increase Blood Points.

Depending on what you feed on and how, determines how much blood you get.

Humans have 10 blood points inside them. You can drain them by killing them. Getting an easy 10.

If you don't wish to kill them, you can suck out 2 blood points with no consequences. More than that and they will suffer ill effects. 3 or 4 will leave him tired, though repeatedly taking this much from the same human can cause negative health effects in them.

Large animals like cows or horses give 5 points when draining. Dogs 2, cats 1. Rats and birds give fractions of a point, but will do in emergencies.

Blood bags will only give 1 point per, as blood loses its luster when it is not freshly drawn. But you can sustain yourself on it.

Vampires can give you blood based on how much blood they currently have.

Werewolves have a whopping 20 blood points to extract because of how potent it is! Suck a hickey on Amanda and you will get 2points of blood for every 1 extracted. But this is not recommended as it has some potent side effects. So long as it is im your system it makes frenzying much harder to resist. (For every blood point you take, your frenzy difficulty increases by 1. A single bite will net you +2 to all your frenzy rolls so long as it is in your system.) Furthermore, it can add paranoia, a short temperature, or possible derangements. Not to mention the most serious side effect of having an extremely angry werewolf that close to you.

As a side note, Mortals recover 1 point of blood per day. So with a normal feeding vessel you could maintain your blood points by feeding on him safety every other day. You won't regain, but you will break even.
