Other Unpopular Opinions

First of all, what the hell do you mean making these types of threads. I'm not the OP. Do you mean messing up the thread? Well, I'm sorry but I think I'll just keep continuing.

Being in these types of threads. I misspoke. I mean if you're going into a thread that has unpopular opinions then you get triggered then again, what the hell did you expect?

I expected someone who was reasonable and would provide evidence that human experimentation with criminals is economically and scientifically viable for the world at large. Because this is not the reply I want. I want a proper response, not some response straight out of sci-fi/comic book fantasy and wayward predictions about the future.

I'll try to address this post seriously. I can't see in any way how this can viably be your whole, unadulterated opinion because it would be more right to believe that you are trolling. I want you to be trolling. If this was your actual opinion, I would be scared.

Scared? Why? It's not like I'm running for office because I won't deny I'll be quite the despot. Hell I do fancy the way fascist governments operate. I am not joking.

Seriously now if you think this is all "trolling" then congratulations, you take everything you get from the internet with a very fine grain of salt as you should. However there is some twisted truth in this sea of piss and vitriol and what I stated is my real honest opinion.

What would this require? Re-writing multiple constitutions of multiple countries and the legal systems of multiple countries all together along with the Geneva Conventions as a whole. The effort would be more than the gain, I'm afraid.

Do you know what the term 'death row' means? It means people who are awaiting execution after conviction for a heinous crime. Do you know what's even more shocking? The number of people who were innocent and executed in death row. While I don't oppose the death penalty, you surely have to think that there must be something wrong if innocent people were executed in death row. What if they were innocent and experimented on?

That would get a lot of people in hot water.

Fuck the Geneva Convention. You really think most countries abide by it? Your naivety is both amusing and vexing to say the least. As a sovereign country no other country will be affected by this unless you're including extradition then if that is the case we dump the foreign national on them. If you're implying that out other countries follow suit with this idea, no. I could care less what other countries think.

As far as the constitution, please... How many people honestly abide by the constitution and regard it as a sacred document anymore? Only a dedicated few truly believe in the constitution who are mocked and ridiculed by communist zealots of the far-left and co-opted by conspiracy lunatics on the far-right. I gave up on that a long time ago when I saw how easily those types of entities are shut down or sabotaged by extremists.

Also I do know what death row means. The problem lies within the inner workings of the judicial system and while I agree it is far from perfect it needs an overhaul anyway to reduce the statistics of innocents wrongly executed as some sources indicate. I'm of the opinion that the innocent wrong convicted are relatively low than you're trying to imply here, but we'll save that argument for later.

Let's hope a revamped and more competent judicial system will reduce the amount of innocents going into the Redemption Project. If anything that would be a better job for these damn ambulance chasers to do these cases to save lives rather than lining their pockets over trivial medical disputes.

But, let's say you don't care about ethics.

I don't

After all, it's a hot and messy business along with that silly human rights crap. Your 'berserker' idea is so stupid and so bizarre that we have no modern historical context to relate it to other than guys on PCP. Even then, using berserkers is going to make the situation in the Middle East more batshit bonkers than it already is. You've just ruined your own foreign reputation in front of other countries in the world.

Even after all the ass kissing Barack Obama did has done nothing to gain us favor, if anything it done more to sour our reputation than help it. Russia bombs Syrian rebels and kills civilians in the process and yet no one can really do anything about it. Sure the media and the politicians condemn the actions like any good politician would do like clockwork and yet nothing gets done. Russia does not give a shit and takes none from anymore, so why should we? Oh because we're the "Free World?" Please, we haven't been the Free World since LBJ.

My opinion remains on the sentiment of using berserkers. You fight terror with terror when dealing with crazy fuckers like ISIS. It's high time there's a crusade in the Middle East because DEUS VULT!

So, why not use willing volunteers instead of death row inmates? Why not use scientific donors from civilians instead of criminals. Oh. Out of spite and because they're animals and don't deserved to be treated like humans. When do you believe a person doesn't deserve basic human rights anymore? Is it a point-based system where after one murder, that person gets to be experimented on?

Volunteers such as that should be reserved for medical advancement if they are so selfless in giving their bodies up for that sort of thing. I commend them for it. As far as hardened criminals, I'm talking about some real fucked up people who have done some really gruesome shit lost their rights the moment they committed whatever heinous crime they did and found guilty. If anything I think we should go back to chain gangs and 16 hours of hard labor a day and that will suit me just fine. However as fucked up as things are there needs to be an even stronger deterrence. Just like death row these people will be slated for experiments when on death row. Think of it as graduating from death row to "you done goofed" on epic fucking proportions.

If you really want to make this idea more viable, make human experimentation a choice to criminals rather than forcing it upon them. Using a small pool of death row criminals for experiments isn't going to magically advance the science of the world by a few decades or so. Organ donors are also possible, although, it would have to be from the permission from the criminal.

I'm more focused on the deterrence from others committing these types of crimes than advancing science. If they do advance science then that's great, but why settle with that if you got one hell of a deterrence?

If all else fails then bring back public hangings. Did you know that was a past time in the Old West that people from miles come flocking to a town to watch a hanging? They even throw barbecues. Would that be more humane for you?

And no I am not trolling this time. I'm dead fucking serious.

Well thank god I am from god-forbidden Quebec, the little(biggest) separatist province no one likes.

She's the girl that BC hates cause she isn't doing jackshit for the real estate issue? Or because she supported pipelines?
<-- *BC Canadian. Hisses violently*

The French have invaded rp nation as they did the north... Pray for your souls, lads

And a bonus opinion:

Critics in general fail to provide an accurate reputation of whatever they review. It's always up to the customer and what they feel, not the people who get paid to review stuff.

To be fair, I've never thought of critics as being the definitive decision makers of what's good or bad. Their only real purpose is to provide one opinion, perhaps from a perspective you never would have considered before. In the end, yes, it's always a matter of opinion what you like or dislike, and all a critic's job is is really to provide their own two cents on a thing.

I know but GOD look at how many people think that if anything is highly rated by critics it's good. They are so naive to believe them when it's their opinion. In fact, they can just scrap the word review out of their posts and they would be less influential to pop culture.

That's true. In anything, most critics in general are too generous. Not always, but quite often. They're basically paid to try and like music. Critic in general last year seemed to "like" THIS abomination of a song. Enough said.
