- Heals at a fast rate at the cost of having to rest and/or eat after bad injuries (e.g. eye getting torn out, etc.)


- Agile and fast, can run (unsustained) up to 43 mph (~69 km/h) in creature form, 35 mph (~57km/h) in human form.

Gem colour and location: Purple amethyst, on the back of neck


Personality: Quiet and obedient, Akira will do anything for his Master. Normally rather docile, when he fights it is like a switch is flicked and he will literally tear his opponent(s) to pieces. In his mind he is secretly pretty judgemental of others.

Bio

Akira has never known freedom. He grew up in a cage next to an older bakeneko in a similar situation, and they were trained to fight once obedience to their Master was beaten into them (quite literally). When they turned 10, they were sold off to a new Master. When they turned 15, their Master started entering them into pit fights, where failure meant death. They never lost a match, returning after each battle with bloodied claws and fangs. When they turned 18, their Master pitted them against each other because he did not want to have keep the two of them, as it took up too many resources for his tastes. The bakeneko hesitated, so Akira tore his throat out.


"Why?... Because I exist to serve, to obey my Master in all things."


His Master praised him for the first time that night, and gave him his name. Since then he has been serving his Master obediently in return for the praise given. Now he follows his Master around while collared, the collar only being loosened when he is to fight. He has never really interacted with another of his kind apart from the bakeneko, and he doesn't talk much. He believes he deserves to be beaten whenever he fails and when he sees other Masters treating their 'pets' otherwise, he is silently scornful of them for being weak.


His Master is his sole reason to live.

Extras

Akira always lands on his feet when falling/jumping.


His fingernails in human form are stronger and sharper than humans', enough to rip through flesh.


His name is written to mean 'Crystal'.
