Fantasy Umbrage Asylum for the Insane

"Im afraid I will have to disapoint you, there isnt anything special about this place just that we keep crazy people here, so shall we get going or are you going to contiue to talk nonsense about these "powers"?" smiles sharply. (so hard to not do one liners when in a conversation.

Miki pulls her bass out. "Well then, I have no choice. I hope you're okay with a little... Oh, never mind. You can find out in just a minute!" She once again, talked in a friendly and playful way. Surely just cutting up his shirt a little shouldn't be a problem, right...? Then again, I still don't have all that good control, so it might do more then that... Oh well." Miki slid her hand across the neck, creating this eerie sound. The sound wasn't enough to really hurt the ears though. She began to play, and as she did, a light pressing sound could be felt on Alex's chest and arms, like there were some air hitting him, without any kind of change in temperature.


After a little bit of playing, Miki blasted the bass a bit louder, which started to leave a few cuts on Alex's shirt. She started playing faster and faster, which actually began causing slight headaches for anybody that could hear it loud enough, even though the sound it normally produced wasn't anything to cause headaches. She kept playing for a few more seconds before coming to a sudden halt, the headaches ending. Alex's shirt had a few small tears in them on the stomach area, that clearly weren't there before. "Now will you talk about it? Depending on your answer, I might play a bit more." She had a little bit of ringing in her right ear, but could hear just fine.


Miki threw her bass back in the case, swinging it on her back and waiting for Alex's response. Only now did she realize Blair'd been there the whole time and that she'd just potentially exposed her powers. Hopefully, Blair hadn't taken any notice of the slight tearing on Alex's shirt, and if she did, wasn't able to connect it to Miki playing her bass.

Blair noticed it all and stays silent as she starts to think of ways a bass, since its the only obvious object around and the shirt tore after she started play, could tear matter like that without directly making contact with it or why she started having an headache over a noise of that volume. She's listened to much louder sounds, a normal bass included, and hasn't hasn't had any reaction like that before.

"So you can play a bass at the right frequency to cut some, interesting, so can we do now I dont want to make the patient wait any long. Its important to keep the patients happy or they might go crazy" thinking to myself "We should capture her alex, that would make the doctor happy you know, he would probably let us go outside again." contiues walking twards the cell.

"They go insane when you deny them the very right of freedom under the pretense that they're insane for claiming to have powers that they actually have. Also, I'd like to say that my power doesn't exactly require my bass, and you know pretty little of it." She already knew Blair'd found out at this point. She walked with him. "I still demand to be told more about this facility than that it's for people who 'believe' they have powers. Don't try bringing me in here like you did the 'patients' either, as you might regret it."

Blair follows Alex and listens to Miki slowly gathering information on the situation so she can make an education decision on what to do at this point, run or stay. If she runs could they use these "powers" to catch her or will they use them on her if she stays. Either choice holds uncertainty but she decides on staying, if she runs it could anger them and get her injured or worse.

"If you threaten me I will have to kick you out, if you could please stop talking about this nonsence so that we can continue and celebrate the patients birthday" knocks on the room door of Alexis "I have a couple people here to have a birthday party with you, if you want to let us in"

"Fine, fine, fine. I'll simply ask Dr. Drakos about it later. In fact, I bet you could easily arrange for me to meet with him... I'd like admission into the asylum, as one of your... 'patients'. Clearly, me claiming things about powers qualifies me as a patient here, doesn't it?" She was quite serious about getting every detail on the place she could. "Well, I'll drop it all for now, but after this..."

ignoring her knocking on the door "are you there Alexis, I have some visitors here for you, I have cake too but you have to let me in" turns and talks to miki "Thats fine by me but first lets celebrate this patients birthday okay?"

(Can't wait to know if Nice gets accepted or not. Also, she's off I believe, so we're kinda stuck now with nothin' to do with them.)

noticing they arrived she opens the door slowly. only to close it. " who are the others." she says curiously


she isn't used to new people. so she wants to know who they are before she lets them in.

Blair looks up at her when the door is open then watches it shut. Wanting to put her mind as ease Blair quickly introduces herself in a kind soft voice "My name is Blair. I'm a college student here on a tour of the building. I heard it was your birthday and wanted to help celebrate. Birthdays only happen once a year after all"

she thinks. "unless you are a animal. " she opens the door again. slowly she smiles. "alexis. nice to meet you blair" i like your name. it sounds like flare" she her hand off her hip and holds it out.

"My name's Miki. Like Blair, I'm a student here on tour, and am here to celebrate your birthday as well." She tries to keep herself from becoming extremely hyper. She was messing with the fingers on her left hand as it rested by her side, like playing her base. She couldn't keep her hand from messing around, but could keep in the rest of her energy.

Blair shakes her hand and smiles brightly, happy to be accepted by her "Thank you, its derived form the Scottish surname Blar meaning battlefield or field."


It amazes her how she can go through school with minimal friends and make two in such a short time. Her love and fascination of this asylum it growing by the minute only being boosted by her amazement.

"miki... i might have trouble remembering your name... no offense but i have nothing that i like that rhymes with it... "


she walks back into her room. and sits on her bed. " been trying to get a couch in her for about 2 years" she says bouncing on the bed

"I will be right back Alexis I am going to go get you a cake" Leaves the room heading up the elevator heading to the kitchen there is a cake made with angry pills mixed in so that she doesnt have to eat them straight taking the cake back down the stairs.

she looks at blair " blair i am actually the most normal person here. in a way. i am just insane ^-^"


 
" oh and do you want some cake when it gets here?" she says laying on the floor head under her bed.

"That's fine. I'm not a very well known person anyway." She walks inside the room, and after looking around a moment, takes her bass out of the case and sits down next to Alexis. She starts to play, the sound carrying this odd feeling of calmness. "That girl in the wheelchair looked quite normal. She was on a different floor, so you might not know who I'm talking about..." Yuri actually wasn't known by anybody that wasn't in a room next to her on the second floor, or had encountered today, the exception being nurses and such. "Blair, I remember seeing you with that girl in the wheelchair. Was she as normal as she looked?" Miki was still playing her bass, which made even herself feel extremely relaxed.

brings it in and sets it next to alexis. "you guys want to sing happy birthday" smiling softly not looking evil like normal "sorry about not having many guest to be here today for your birthday but I managed to get a couple"

(Should I just play Nice for now, and do nothin' with his powers and such, just play him how he'd be able to be played regardless of any changes Laney'd have me make? Really wanna play 'im right now.)
