Fantasy Umbrage Asylum for the Insane

(She's sublevel 1 since shes unstable in her anger. Ugh my laptop connection is horrible it won't load anything! )

Blair notices her gaze and understands quickly. She grabs two sandwich halves and starts feeding one to Yuri while eating the other one herself. After both off the sandwiches are done and Yuri is full Blair lets silence set in. When the silence starts to verge on awkward she looks up and asks "so why are you here? You seem pretty normal so far."

Amaya, with her high-pitched, yet soft voice, went ahead and 'decided' to talk for Yuri. "Yuri may seem normal, but she actually has severe hallucinatory episodes due to her mental state. She seems peaceful, though she actually suffers horribly, at least once every three days... She actually just finished going through one this morning..." Yuri kept a childishly peaceful appearance, cuddling with Nana still. Amaya took the last two sandwiches, eating one herself while Kimiyo took the other, Kimiyo having not said a single word the entire time.

Everything Amaya had said was actually true. Yuri was suffering. It was the effects of her mind trying to force upon her the memories of Nana, Maya, and Sera's being murdered, and her rejecting it. Yuri looked at Kimiyo before Kimiyo helped her drink some water, as Yuri could barely hold on to the glass by herself due to the physical weakness her powers had caused to her.

Scarlett stopped her scribbling to look at the girl that had spoken to her. She pushed her glasses up her nose and gave her a smile. "Hi there." She replied. "I'm Scarlett." She placed her pen behind her ear and waved slightly at the girl. Her gaze roamed from her to the seemingly harmless patient that was talking to one of the students. Was that allowed? She glanced at the nurse leading the tour uncertainly, but she didn't seem perturbed at all, but she was keeping a close eye on the girl, that much she could tell. "So interested in psychology, or did you just want to pass the time?" She asked conversationally.

Dr. Drakos left the elevator and smiled his easy, quick smile at them as he walked up to the group and the nurse. He surveyed the students, already taking mental notes of height, hair, eye color, and stature, his mind filing it away in separate files, from there they were moved into two different groups, the potentials and the new employees. His smile widened. "Good morning." He said in greeting, startling the nurse.

"Dr. Drakos! I didn't think you'd be joining us so soon." She said quickly, hushing the students to quiet them down. "

"I was free sooner than I originally thought." He informed her.

"Welcome to Umbrage Asylum. " He said with a flourish. "I hope the tour hasn't bored you in any way and that my nurses have been able to answer your questions accordingly. " His voice was a deep rumble that came from his chest, it was rough yet as intimidating as it could be, he knew just which way to use it so it was relaxing. His unnatural violet eyes were enticing and closed off of any emotion, making the phrase 'Eyes are the doors to the soul' doubtful. "I have a surprise for you all, and its to visit one of our other floors." There was a murmur of confusion that ran through the crowd at that, since it was only known for the first two.

"I know that is confusing, but here at Umbrage we focus on a particular set of psychological cases." He motioned for the nurse to usher the students toward the elevator, where he used his key card, a hidden panel opened up and showed two new buttons B1 and B2. "We'll be going to Sub Level 1, which is where the more unstable patients, but you will be not be put in harm's way." He told them.

Iris felt a wave of dizziness as they pulled the 16 gauge needle from her arm and left with 6 vials of blood. "Ugh..." She groaned as she held her head. She fumbled for a alcohol swab and tore open the small packet and placed the wet cloth underneath her nose and inhaled. She flinched at the pure scent of ethanol, which immediately shoved the dizziness and black dots from her vision and body. She grabbed a Hershey's bar on the table and began to eat it greedily. After she had devoured it, she stood and moved to the door of the room to peer around the halls. She left and glanced around, moving towards the Control Twins room to peer in through the window on her tip toes. They weren't struggling much against their restraints, but she saw their mouths moving. So they were lucid, just as she wanted. If anyone could cause the escape of the patients that Iridescence craved it was them. She moved away, they should be getting their meds soon, then she would see what they'd do. She moved away from the door and debated what to do next, visitation would still be going on... And knowing her father they'd being reaching Sub Level 1 soon...

waking up to hearing the elevator open she looks around. then turns her head to the clock at the side of her bed. it wasn't med time yet. so she knew it was visitors. but not her's since she had none. must be someone elses. or a tour but it was early for a tour. so she quickly puts on her hoody and faces away from the door.

Kimiyo and Amaya walk while Kimiyo pushes Yuri, them joining at the front of the elevator, Yuri putting a begging face for Dr. Drakos, wanting to go with everybody. Even Dr. Drakos didn't know that Nana, Sera, and Maya were puppets, as Yuri never brought it up, and given that the three puppets that realistic, not to mention that Yuri actually believed them to be real, she'd begged for them to be allowed to stay with her for the entire time she was there.

Miki stayed with Scarlett. "I'm actually interested in this, though with what the reason is, it's clear to me most people'll think I'm fooling around unless I tell them, which I honestly can't."

(The attention is real right now ;- ;)

Aoi sighed. "Of course we're not going to be noticed, we're so tiny. Well, kinda." She mumbled, Walking off. Usagi rolled her eyes. "Duh. Well, this is the worst." She said, jogging up to Aoi. "I wonder if we're actually going to meet people! May as well meet them while we feel like it." Usagi said after a long silence. Aoi nodded. They looked at the cells. "Hm. Looks like we can fit right in between the poles. How responsible of an asylum." Aoi said sarcastically. "I'm so bored. I want to see new people!" Usagi groaned, letting out a dramatic sigh afterwards. "We're going to meet someone eventually, and I'm bored as well..." Aoi responded in the same tone as Usagi.

Makoto, who was just a little taller than the two of them, was standing right there. She looked at the two of them. "You introduced yourselves in an awkward way. I believe that's why the person Yuri was talking to ignored you. Yuri, on the other hand, wished she could talk to you two, though as she had no free use of her hands, and is unable to speak, she couldn't do anything. Amaya isn't interested in anybody but Yuri, and Kimiyo... Kimiyo never talks."

Makoto had a bit of concern in her voice, as well as her voice seemed a bit... distorted for a human voice, though just barely, if even possible to notice.

Rose yawned for the fifth time, pacing up and down her cell, walking over her bed each time she did so. Bored. Bored. Bored. Her mind felt a lot clearer than usual, and physically a lot more energetic. Every now and again she would glance over towards the bars. She knew she could try and slip through.. Or maybe she would just wait for a nurse, make puppy dog eyes and get let out... But she wanted someone to talk to. She was even a little tempted to try and shift. Not much. Just a little... that would definitely freak all the students out if they saw that she had grown ears and a tail. She giggled slightly to herself. But that would cause so much trouble.. not that she didn't like trouble, of course. Trouble was her middle name.

Eventually a nurse came round and, as she planned, she gave her her signature puppy dog eyes - as cute and as sparkly as they get. She shot out of her cell, stretching her muscles and exhaling loudly. It wasn't that the cells were particularly cramped, its just the feeling of confinement that went along with them whenever you were in one.

Soon she spotted two (rather short) people around her age. Immediately she ran up to meet them. She skidded to a halt just before she crashed into them, regaining her proper manners, and extended her hand.

"My name's Rose. And you?"

(Hold up, I have to log into my laptop real quick)

Aoi looked up. "Oh, well we are pretty awkward if we do say so ourselves. My name is Aoi, and this is-" Usagi put her hand up. "Usagi. Pleasure to meet you guys." She said, holding the best smile she could. While Aoi shook Rose's hand Usagi held her hand up for Makoto. "It seems that the students are here, huh?" Aoi said quietly, slightly annoyed by the loud voices that can be heard throughout the hallway. Usagi would shrug it off, but the students seemed to be extremely loud at the moment.

"If you don't mind me asking, i would like to know what abilities you have." Usagi stated, trying to ignore the annoying sound of a big group taking at the same time. She was trying to have a pleasant conversation. Aoi hit her on the head. "That may be rude, ya know." She scolded. "I know, that's why I said 'If you don't mind me asking'. Listen next time." Usagi argued back, before sheepishly looking up at the two who were meeting them. "Sorry about that." Aoi said, now letting the two have a chance to speak.

"Powers, you say...? No, I'm simply a friend that's been allowed to stay and help take care of Yuri... This place is full of people who believe themselves to have powers though, so I suppose it is rude to be saying this, but... There is no such thing as having powers." Makoto was just doing as unconsciously controlled by Yuri to do; act like she was a normal person, rather than a puppet made of a living body. "I should be getting back to Yuri... I would hate to not be there if she has another of her episodes... Such a poor girl... She's suffering every day, yet she forced herself to look peaceful..."

Makoto began walking off, only to find that Yuri was actually looking right at her, Yuri's eyes full of suffering and begging at the moment as she holds her head with one hand slightly. Amaya was checking on Yuri to make sure she was fine, checking her for any signs of a fever, cold, or anything that could rule out this being another of Yuri's horrible mental experiences. Sadly, it was one of those times. Kimiyo picked up Nana off of Yuri's lap to ensure Nana didn't fall on the floor if things get rough.

Yuri crossed her arms and held her shoulders tightly. She was in pain. It hurts... It hurts... It hurts...! Yuri couldn't vocalize her pain, which just made the suffering that much worse. Her hands moved to her head, eyes shut tightly as she lets out extremely quiet noises. The noises could barely be heard, but it was clear they were screams of pain that failed to become full vocal sounds. Amaya seemingly panicked, immediately trying to get the attention of the first nurse she saw to come and help Yuri. Unfortunately, Amaya failed to get their attention somehow.

Makoto just stood there, almost motionless as though seeing Yuri in such a state were enough to make her feel similar pain. One tear ran down Yuri's face. After a long two minutes, Yuri went completely still before laying back slightly in the wheelchair. She let her arms go loose. Yuri was relaxing for a moment. She opened her eyes, her peaceful expression back. It was almost as though it'd never happened. The mental episodes were currently in their shorter, but more painful part of the cycle.

Every month, her mental episodes would change. It starts as long with pain building up over time, then would slowly over the month change until at the start of the next, it's short and extremely painful, then slowly over that month change back to the long ones. How much it looked like Yuri was suffering, wasn't even half of how much she was truly suffering from this time's episode, as even though changing back and forth, the pain'd started getting worse and worse each time for both ways of her mental suffering.

Usagi frowned when Makoto said there was no such thing as powers. "There is..." Aoi muttered. She held up her hand, a spark of electricity starting to form. Usagi looked at Aoi, knowing what she was doing. "Don't! That's dangerous!" She yelled. Aoi took a deep breath. "Ugh. I just... I need to rest." She mumbled. "I'll stay here... You know, keep talking to Rose." Usagi said, then waved to Aoi. Aoi slowly walked back to her cell, glaring at the ground.
