Fantasy Umbrage Asylum for the Insane

Yuri moved her weak arms to the wheels of the chair, weakly rolling herself down in the direction Aoi headed. Kimiyo hesitated to stop Yuri, though in the end, Yuri was clearly intent on following Aoi on her own. Kimiyo bowed to Blair to apologize for their sudden leaving, then headed in the direction Yuri went, just to watch her to make sure she's safe. When Yuri got to where Aoi was at, Kimiyo went back to Yuri's room. Amaya was there in Yuri's room as well, and Makoto was still a bit frozen in place where she stood.

Yuri weakly knocked on Aoi's door, possible that Aoi can't hear her knocking. She waits a moment before knocking again, this time, putting all her strength that she could in it, just barely producing the normal noise level of a knock. She waited, notebook and pen in hand to write her words on. She could tell what had happened with Makoto and Aoi just by the way the two of them interacted with each other.

Aoi heard the soft noise. She turned around to see a girl. With a pen and a notebook in her hand. She stood up, dying to know why someone was trying to talk to her right now. "Hello..." Aoi greeted, trying to seem nice. It made it worse as her hair shadowed the top half of her face. She often 'rehearses' her greetings, for some weird reason. Aoi, for some reason, had no idea what Usagi was doing, or how she felt. All she knew was that she was in a stage of her depression, as she remembered someone who told her the same exact thing ten years ago. It reminded her of her cousin, Momo.

Lowering from her previous position of standing of her tiptoes, Aoi couldn't look out of the window that was at the top of the door. Opening it, she did the exact same thing as she practiced, but held her head higher. It didn't work. Aoi's head drooped down again, giving it the shady effect it had before. "Don't mind my face right now, this is just a way of showing one of my emotions." She said. "Clearly." Was muttered straight afterwards, Aoi not sure if the girl heard or not.

With a heavy heart, Blair watches Yuri roll away down the hall. She knows she shouldn't follow and jeopardize any good impressions she already set if any. Gaining knowledge was her reason for coming here after all, not to make friends with the local patients. After a very quick internal pep talk Blair gets back to business and focuses on the tour ahead.

When Dr. Drakos walks up and starts talking Blair looks him over once before looking at the ground, something about him seemed off about him but she wouldn't let that stop her from enjoying the rest of the tour. Even if he did have eyes that could look right into her soul.

Hello. My name is Yuri, though you may have learned that from Makoto, or when you first approached me and that one student earlier.

Yuri gave a slight look of worry. She started to write a few words down on her paper. It took her a while to write down her words, as not only were her arms weak as they were, she wanted to make sure that her words could be read easily, rather than being impossible to understand. It was clear she couldn't talk by the fact she was writing her words down.

Yuri finished writing the message, then showed it to Aoi. She would've written more, but her paper was a little too small to write much on, so she started to write her next message on a second page.

I would like to apologize about Makoto's behavior earlier... You see, she had a horrible experience with a person who had powers... She probably hates powers for harming people so much, she tries to fool herself that powers don't exist, and that nobody's suffering because of them...

Yuri showed the second page. Her handwriting was just a little messier the second time, as her grip on the pen was starting to get a little loose. She gave Aoi enough time to read it before going to a third page, and starting to write again. This time, her hand was shaking as she tried writing.

Yuri wrote quite slowly. She was clearly struggling with the pen, which is why she wished she could talk. Sadly, talking was the last thing she would ever be able to do. Sadly, Yuri couldn't finish the sentence she was writing down on the paper before dropping the pen, letting the message drop on her lap where it could be read.

The person Makoto sees suffering from powers is

Yuri tried to reach for the pen, doing as best as she could. She failed to pick it up, so she quit trying. Instead, she cleared her throat silently, as though about to actually try and speak. What came out next, were sounds of a child trying to speak. Her voice was high-pitched, yet completely soft, making for the sounds to be soothing, while at the same time, make one worry that she'll hurt herself by trying to talk, when she clearly was writing because she can't talk.

Aoi looked at all the different pieces of paper, clearly this girl can't talk at the moment. When Yuri dropped everything, Aoi started to get confused, and curious. Slowly, she opened her mouth to speak. "Is... Is the person one of your friends?" She asked quietly. When Aoi came here for the first time, she thought that all it would be was demented people. 'I guess I'm proved wrong...' Aoi thought. She walked back over to her bed, sitting down on the edge. The door was still open, so the two girls could still see each other.

Usagi shrugged. "Hey, I'll talk to you later. My friend is... Dealing with some emotional problems." She said, sad that she couldn't talk to Rose that much. Hopefully they would bump into each other in the hallways again. Usagi rushed back to the room her and Aoi shared. She paused when she saw Yuri. It was the girl they had seen. "Um... Hello there..." Usagi whispered, not wanting to interrupt an important conversation between the two.

Aoi seemed to smile a little when she sensed Usagi's presence, and leaned back on her bed. "Oh, this is Yuri... Yuri, this is Usagi, my best friend, and I guess you could say cousin." Aoi muttered. She didn't feel like talking anymore right now. "Well, I have to take a shower. Now, if you excuse me..." Usagi said, sliding past Yuri.

Yuri slowly started to back up with her wheelchair, having given up on trying to talk. As she's backing up, her head begins hurting. She brings her hands up to hold her head, the wheelchair starting to fall backwards. She closed her eyes in pain, and when she opened them, she was sprawled on the floor. She was in pain, yet at the same time, was unable to feel it.

The pain was there, but at the same time, wasn't. Her throat felt weird. She couldn't move her body, so she just laid there. She wanted to actually speak to somebody, actually have fun talking. She'd missed the ability to use her voice so much, that it broke her heart when she couldn't squeeze her words out. Then, out of nowhere, a slightly high-pitched, yet entirely soft voice lightly spoke. "The one Makoto sees as suffering... is me..." Yuri didn't even realize she herself was talking.

"It's painful... Being stuck in a wheelchair, unable to move around freely... It hurts... Not being able to talk with others... Without a voice to say your thoughts... Without the ability to express yourself through actions..." Yuri kept laying there, starting to feel the pain a little. "Nobody... can even understand me... if I don't write my words down on paper... Even then, all they can read are the words, not the emotions... the feelings..."

Beings walking around the halls making sure no students are lost and that everything is okay. "We don't want any problems today Alex or we could get in some trouble you know" Scratches my head wondering where the students are at the moment, and goes looking around for anyone that got lost. Looks more like a worker at the asylum then a experiment that he is. "Don't you ever get bored of hunting people Alexandra, its kind of strange to hunt other people like that even though we were not born like this, I don't like bring people to this place it feels wrong."

Aoi looked at Yuri, this was all too confusing. Just a second ago, she couldn't talk. Now, she was on the floor, telling Aoi what she really feels; how all her emotions can't be seen by writing on a piece of paper. Aoi looked around, eventually stepping out into the hallway to call for help. "Makoto! Can you hear me?!" She yelled. Aoi was panicking, she didn't know how to deal with situations like this. She felt useless. Aoi coughed as her head started to pound. Not from weaknesses, not from her virus. From the overload of terrible and painful memories.

Aoi was playing with Usagi and her good friend from school, Sachiko. Suddenly, Aoi felt something. Something bad was happening. "Uh, guys? I have to go home now..." Aoi said looking down. "Okay. Can we all meet up tomorrow?" Sachiko asked, Usagi nodding. "Okay!" Aoi said, waving to her two good friends. Aoi hopped along the sidewalk, trying to get the bad feeling out of her. When she walked up to her house, she became more worried. 'Why... Is the door open? What's that creepy feeling...' She thought. Looking inside the house, the eerie feeling sent shivers down her spine. "Uh... Anyone there?" Aoi shouted, her voice trembling. She climed up the stairs, and took the sword that was hanging on the wall. It was her brother's.

Tiptoeing her way to her parent's room, she heard a sickening chuckle.Holding the sword up,Aoi slowly opened the door, to a horrifying sight...

Aoi sat on the ground, replaying the sight over and over again in her head. "Ugh... Can it stop already?" She silently cried, but she knew she had to recover soon. If she didn't, she would never recover from depression itself.

After awhile of the standing Blair backs away from group silently and heads down another hallway wanting to completely a few places on the map. The tour didn't seem to be going anywhere so a little bit of exploring shoudnt be noticed as long as she's smart about where she goes and keeps tabs on the guards around.

After a few minutes of sketching she finishes a good guess of the full floor plan and starts to add details like windows, doors, large rooms, and locked hallways.

Checking the hallways and notices a lone student writing down things and heads over to them. "Are you lost or are you sneaking around? You are supposed to stay with the tour group so you dont get lost in here, Do you need help finding your way back? I work here so it shouldnt be much trouble getting you back to your group" Its kinda strange that someone that is only 16 works here. "if you would please just follow me we can get this all worked out quick" smiles a wicked grin that makes me seem untrustworthy.

Blair looks over him from head to toe and stop on his grin. She steps back shyly and looks down away from the nearly fighting expression. She quickly and quietly speaks trying to be polite but a hint of fear can be heard in her soft voice "It's fine really, I know exactly where I am, they should still at the elevator right now, which is just around the corner. I know exactly how to get back but that you for offering to help." She doesn't know what he could possibly be up to with a grin that scary but she doesn't want to follow and find out.

Yuri couldn't hear anything at first. All that she knew was that she was laying on the floor. Yuri suddenly snapped back to reality. It was just for a moment, but she'd just realized it; her voice came back. She suddenly felt a rush of pain through her body, though the point where it hurt the most was her head. She tries to move her arms up to her head, only to find they won't move at all. "It hurts... It hurts...!" Her voice was quiet, though full of pain.

Yuu started to feel more and more pain rushing through her head as images and pictures pop up in her head. She violently and slowly swings her head from all the pain, her unconscious will trying to reject the memories that keep attempting to pour in enough to make her want to scream in pain. Just as she was about to, her voice... vanished. She tries talking, only to find that, no words would come out. Her entire body, not just her head, was in severe pain now. The pain was all from her hitting the floor at this point, as the memories were successfully rejected once more.

Yuu was now scared. The floor was cold. Her body was in pain, and all she could do was lay there through it. She almost started to cry, though managed to hold back all but one tear. Aside from the actual tears, she couldn't cry. Crying means making some kind of noise; a noise, she couldn't make. Yuri could feel something moving around in her body, almost like some kind of long, thin object, possibly a string. It felt weird. She could literally feel it moving under her skin, though there was no way for anybody else to know about the strings moving within her body.

The strings were being wound slowly through her body, becoming more wrapped then before. Her arms were now close to as useless as her legs, at most able to lightly and weakly touch or hug something. She laid there, waiting to either go to a sleep-like state from the pain, or the pain to end and somebody help her back in the wheelchair.

(( ah ok)) she waits silently to get her anger pills. ( that is what they give her to subdue her powers). not wanting to get angry right now. due to it being her birthday. ( bring her cake! xD )). while she waits she watches the roof because it simulates clouds passing by.

"would you like to come help me with a patient, it would give you experience if you plan on working here later" Alex talking to blair " It would be more fun then walking around writing down things" thinking to myself knowing its not allowed but I really am getting borried and it would be fun to see what will happen, maybe we will cause some problems and something fun would happen.

Miki started to head towards the area where Alex and Blair were. She didn't know they were nearby, though one thing was for sure. Miki's goal was to investigate this place. Not map it out or anything that might be useful for if she chooses to work there. Her goal was to see just what kinds of secrets the place held. She knew there'd have to be some kind of powers going on in this place, as there's no way they'd have to put people i sub-levels if they didn't have some kind of powers they had to restrict.

Miki caught glimpse of Blair just as she went through the intersecting point of her hall and theirs. She took a few steps backwards to be able to see Blair again. She was curious. What was Blair doing there? Who was she talking to? Miki couldn't quite tell. Miki just stood there, watching the two of them. She didn't do anything to get noticed. She didn't do anything to keep herself from getting noticed either.

Blair thinks his proposition over carefully before coming to what she thinks is the best conclusion for her safety "I don't think i'm allowed in any of the rooms and i'm already on the verge of the rules as it is. I would hate to get in trouble. Thanks for the offer but I decline." She would love to help but Alex makes her extremely cautious and nervous. Anyone else and she would jump on the offer happily without a second thought.

"Come on I work here its fine, lets go, I have to to take you back to your group anyway just follow me" Starts walking down the hallway and notices miki "are you lost too or just snooping around?" (miki is a student right?)

(Yes, she's a student, though she secretly has a power of her own that nobody knows about.)

Miki decided that now was the time to approach them. She came walking up, still with the bass on her back. Alex approached her first though. "Lost? No, I'm just breaking unwritten rules. Well, unwritten rules that nobody knows about. Tell me about these powers that the patients all have." Miki probably sounded insane to Blair right now, having spoken in a way that said she was serious about the powers. "Well, are you going to tell me? Perhaps you could simply show me your powers?"

Miki's words were directed at Alex, and it was quite clear that they were. She kept a firm grasp on the strap of her case. She knew that this might get them to try and kill her to prevent her from exposing these secrets, which is why she kept her best weapon ready to use at any moment.

"powers? I just work here but if you would like to come with me and Blair a patients birthday is today and It would be good if she had some other people besides me" Something seemed off about Alex, he seemed to be telling the truth but something made you think I wasnt. "I need to take you both back to your group so you can either come help me with the patient or you can follow me back to your group it is up to you" Smiles, looking both kind but wicked at the same time.

Blair hears it for a birthday and quickly changes her mind. Her family made a huge deal out of birthdays rather than Christmas so they held a special place in her heart. No matter how important they may be though it would be better to have someone less like Alex to help, so she starts trying to convince Miki "You might as well come with me to help the patient's birthday, they do only come around once a year. Might as well make them special for everyone"

alexis listens to them due to the fact that they are down the hall from her. she is suprised someone remembered. ( 4 years since she came here) .

she sits up and takes off her hoody and puts on her other clothes in the closet they gave her. she brought a pair of nice clothes with her when they told her to pack her things. ( see hunger games flaming dress.) her favorite pair in fact. she just loved fire for some reason. no matter how much problems it caused. she guessed it was in her nature.

"Maybe... Maybe you just need a little convincing... Tell me about some of the powers that are in this building, or I'll have to expose the secrets I've learned about this asylum." She talked in an oddly playful and friendly tone. She swung her case out in front of her, holding the strap of it in one hand, making it seem like she was just taking the weight off of her back. "I really will expose the secrets if you don't tell me about them." She gave a friendly smile, then turned to Blair and nods, agreeing to go with them after she gets her information.
