"Are you Gal?" Rowan asks hesitatingly. His tone though sort of bothered her a little. But that didn't matter. She took a step in. "Anthony sent me to give this to you. He said it was urgent. The...whatever it is was flowing when he pulled it out of a man's body." She says.

Gal looked up at her and nodded, "okay, you got my interest." he said standing up as he moved towards her. He glanced at the bowl, then took if from her as he examined it without taking anything out or touching it, he turned to bowl around, "You said they were flowing? With what?" he asked curiously.

She shrugged. "I didn't see. The blood maybe?" She says. "Anthony just handed it to me and told me to get it to you quickly." She says.

Gal looked at her curiously and said, "Hum." he took the bowl back to the table and started to get some gloves, before he took tweezers to look at the pin knives, "These aren't normal knives, thin and exact, pin knives are used for warriors that are best at hidden combat." he stated, then glanced to Rowan, "I'll be down when I know more, but you can tell Anthony he was right, this is new. Whoever made them is a master and they can do some real damage. They knew about healing herbs, he is going to have to be creative to heal a victim of this." he smirked, "Do you got that?"

She rolled her eyes but then smiled a little and nodded. "Yeah, I got it. Never seen, be creative." She says half sarcastically but then nodded. "I'll tell him your message." She adds before tuning to leave. She hoped she wasn't going to end up playing messenger.

Once she reached the infirmary she went to where she had last seen Anthony.

Anthony looked at er when she came up to him, he was with Emery and explained that he had sent Rowan to help out. He sighed, "What did Gal say about the pin knives?" he asked.

She shrugged, looking to Emery uncertainly a moment before looking back to Anthony. "He said that you were right, that what ever this was is new and that whoever made them is a master?" She says, not understanding waht that meant. "Anyway, he said that they knew about healing herbs and you were going to have to get creative to heal that man." She adds.

Anthony nodded thoughtfully as he glanced at the patient and sighed, "He si doing better." he commented before looking back at Rowan and smiling at her. "Thank you, Rowan, you have been very helpful. I need to keep an eye on my patient. But Emery is better." he said, before he moved to his patient.

Emery glanced at her, "I leave you with Sarah and you go running around. Learn anything yet?" he asked.

She nodded to Anthony and then looked to Emery, shrugging a little. "I know where the green house, infirmary, and science wing now are." She says simply. She pretended to think. "Oh and I looked at plants with Anthony. I remember a few, but it would take time to memorize all of them.

Emery looked at her and sighed, "Well, you could always look in the library." he mentioned before passing her, "Come on. We don't have tome to waste, we are at war. You have to meet Hector."

She looked to him curiously but then quickly followed. He had much longer legs than she did and could walk faster simply because of his long stride. Once she caught up to him she watched him carefully a moment and then looked forward. "Who's Hector? And what do all of you plan to do with me? It's not like anyone here has time to babysit if you're at war."

Emery sighed, "How should I know what they are going to do with you? You weren't even supposed to be here. I went for Nicoli, you just happen to be what I got stuck with. Hector is the commanding officer and the one that sent me. I am going to tell him what happened and then he can decided what to do with you."

Rowan couldn't help rolling her eyes a little, but kept her comment to herself. "Did those demons follow you to my home? I mean it seems like an fully big coincidence that they showed up the same day you did."

Emery shrugged, "How should I know?" he stated, "I warned him that if I could track him down then so could they. But you and your humans think that you have all the time you need, when you really don't." he sighed as he stopped in the hall, looking at her, "We are at war, your father knew what that meant and he still wanted to have some time to wait. I can't control what happened. You are just lucky that I happened to be there. The Shadow that killed your father isn't going to stop with your parents and when she gets a hold of you, there is nothing to will be able to do about it."

Rowan clenched her jaw but she couldn't hold back what she was feeling. She was bitter towards him, but it was more anger towards what happened to her parents. Maybe because a part of her knew he was right. But that didn't matter. Her family was gone and everything was sinking in at once. Which translated to her anger. He just happened to be there. So she shoved him. Hard. "You're cold and heartless." She snaps, her eyes ablaze. "You must not have a family because you don't seem to understand the importance of one or what it means to have one." She adds, her tone still harsh and bitter. She shoved him again. As soon as the words left her mouth she regretted saying them. But all she wanted was a place to go and to break down. Alone. Without anyone else around. She clenched her jaw again and took a step back from him, using her palm to wipe away a few of the tears that had escaped.

Emery glared at her and his finger pointed in her face, "You don't know anything about me." he snapped. "In fact, your perfect little human life is all you know, you hardly even know yourself or your father. If you knew anything about who you were you would know how wrong you are." he growled before turning away and walking, "Hurry up you human, I can't wait to be rid of you. I have other things to do, rather then follow you around."

She clenched her hands into fists, calming herself down before she dared to follow after him. She felt bad, she knew what she had said was wrong, but she didn't want to feel bad. She wanted to just let herself be angry for a little while. She bit her lip and finally followed after him. She couldn't wait to get out of here either.

He stopped at the door and sighed, the heavy twin doors were wooden, they raised passed the wall up to the height of the ceiling. he glanced at her annoyed, "Hector is waiting for you, try not to be a pain." he snapped, before opening the door, then the room filled with others working on ideas and plans with maps of the earth, the land that was earth, Emery stepped aside, "I have work to do."

Rowan didn't say anything to him. She knew she needed to apologize but she also knew that right now she was still too hot tempered to say anything. So instead she just walked passed him to wherever Hector was waiting. She hoped she could leave. She didn't want to be a part of any of this anymore.

Emery sighed, rolling his eyes before he left her.

Kyle noticed her first, he smiled as he got closer, "Hello? Can I help you?" he asked.

Rowan sighed and then moved to Kyle. She wasn't sure if he was who she was looking for. "I'm looking for...um...Hector?" She says.

Kyle smiled, "Rowan, then? That's you?" he asked, "My name is Kyle, Hector is my father." he announced and started to look around before motioning towards the back, where his father was looking at a map. "That is my father. Come I'll take you." he told her, motioning her to follow him.

Rowan sighed and nodded. "It's nice to meet you." She says. She glanced to the door one last time and then followed him. She would find Emery later and apologize.

Kyle smirked as he looked at her, "I wish it was in better terms. Emery reported that Nicoli fall, but I know he was protecting you. I know my father would be happy to do that for me." he stopped before they got to his father, "You know, he was an honorable man, a man that was valued here. If we can give him a proper burial, both your parents. I'm sure your mother was wonderful, just from knowing Nicoli from the short time I had with him."

Rowan but her lip but then nodded. There was nothing she could do about it back home. Burying them here would be best. "Thank you. I'm sure he would have appreciated that." She says. She hugged herself a little. "It's still hard to believe all of this exists. That my father was part of all of it." She says quietly.
