Kyle smirked, "I don't know how that feels, but I know that no matter what, everyone is here if you need anything." he assured her before motioning her towards his father.

"Thanks." She mutters before moving to where his father was. She looked to the man. "Hector?" She asks carefully.

Hector looked up and smiled, tilting his head, "Wow. You look like your father." he stated, before motioning those around him to go. He looked at Kyle and they nodded to each other before Kyle left too. "Do you need anything?"

Rowan shrugged. "Not anything I need right away." She says. She hugged herself a little. "What is going to happen to me now?" She asks.

Hector sighed, crossing his arms, "Well, we can't just let you get back home, that would be too dangerous. You'll be safest here and there are many things you can get into. Anything you want to try."

Rowan but her lip. That wasn't exactly what she was wanting to hear but she understood. "I want to know how to fight." She sound herself saying. She hadn't been planning on it but she couldn't stop the words from coming out of her mouth.

Hector nodded, "Okay. We can get you to start training. It'll be a little hard, but I'm sure you'll be good at it."

She hadn't expected him to be so open to it. But then she nodded. "I understand. Can I also learn more about the plants?" She asks.

Hector looked at her curiously, "Not many warriors want to know too much about plants. Usually just the ones that they are required to carry." He smiled, nodding, "I'm sure any of the healers would be happy to teach you."

She shrugged and smiled. "I think any one of them could be useful. And they're all very interesting." She says quietly. She bit her lip. "Where am I to be staying for now on?" She asks.

Hector smirked, "Your father's old room. I'm sure you want to get to know the bright young man he was." He sighed amused, "Off the field he was a character."

Rowan looked to him curiously. "He was?" She asks. Her father had always been so collected and put together. When she was a young child he could be silly and playful. But as she got older he was less like that. She wondered if any of what was happening here had to do with it. "What was he like here?" She asks.

Hector chuckled, "Something between Emery and Adam. Cocky, confident, playful. He had a lot of energy, got in a lot of trouble. But when it came down to it, he was loyal, honorable and skilled. He knew the right time and place to play and to be serious."

She smiled a little but then thought of Emery and frowned. "When we are done here I need to find Emery. I said something to him that I should not have." She says quietly.

Hector looked at her and smiled, "You should be able find him in the garden or the sanctuary. If you want, Kyle can help you find Adam. He'll have a better idea."

She nodded her head a little. "Um, is there more we need to discuss?" She asks quietly. Sure she had questions, but for today all she wanted was to go to her room and try to process everything that had happened. Especially seeing her mother's mutilated body.

Hector looked at her and smiled, nodding, "But nothing that can't wait for tomorrow when you get a little more comfortable." he assured her and then motioned for Kyle to come. When Kyle was beside her, he smiled, "Kyle will help you find Adam so you can find Emery."

Kyle looked at her and smirked, "Come on." he said as he started towards the door.

Rowan nodded and then turned to Kyle, offering him a small smile. She moved to follow him to find Adam. "Adam is the flirtatious one right?" She asks as they walked. Thinking of who all she had actually met since being here.

Kyle chuckled as he opened the door for her, "Very. He gets attention and over the years it has gone to his head. Whatever you do, try not to make his head any bigger." he teased as he left the room with Rowan and motioned her to follow him. "Emery and Adam are pretty different in a lot of ways, they were born into families like yours. But Emery's family is strict, so he never really doesn't have the chance to be anything but the best. Adam's family is gone, but he still works to be a great warrior, in their memory. I guess that is what they have in common."

She looked to him curiously. That was the type of information she wanted. "So Emery's family is still around then." She says gently. It was sad about Adam's family though. She wondered how long ago he had lost them.

Kyle looked at her and nodded, "Oh yes. They are not going anywhere. They have their hands in just about everything, so you can understand how much pressure has to stand out."

She nodded w little. "Yes, I suppose it is a lot of pressure." She says quietly. "He must love them very much though." She half says and half asks.

Kyle shrugged, "I can't be sure. Emery spends his time training, even if he is the beat, it's not good enough for his family. So I don't know how he feels about it or them."

She bit her lip and then nodded. She sighed and looked down at her feet as she walked. She wanted to know more. But she doubted there was more she would be told. "Kyle, what do you do around here. Will I be seeing you around more?"

Kyle smirked, "Probably catch a few inches of me." He laughed, "I'll be running around, my father plans on having me take over and I can't do that without knowing mostly everything and being able to manage one group at a time."
