Fantasy Two Worlds Collide

[Matreania]

Kyle smirked as he started to deal with teh meat and Adam dealt with camp.

In no time they were able to set off again. Rowan looked over the map and realized that they'd be able to reach the area today if they pushed it. She found that was all she wanted to do but realistically it would be by tomorrow if they need to be cautious. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam and Kyle stayed on either side of her before Adam leaned over, "So which way?"

 

[FangAndOzy]

She gestured forward. Well stay this way for another few miles then we'll veer east." She says. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam nodded, "Sounds like a plan to Mr." He chuckled, "You are doing great, by the way."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan smirked and looked over to him. "Thanks. Though we'll see if you still think that when we have to make our way back. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam smirked, "Don't worry, getting back won't be too bad, I know how we get there and how to get back."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She smiled. "I hope so. She told me it could be even more dangerous." She says witha shrug. She smiled. "I'm sure we'll be fine."

 

[Matreania]

Adam nodded, "If nothing else, we know one way that won't be too dangerous. Might be a challenge but not too much."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded and then sighed as she looked forward again. They were so close but so far. "Fonyou think Emery and his brother are okay?" She asks quietly. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam looked at her for a moment before he sighed, "I'm sure Anthony will fix them both up. As for being okay, I don't think that is the word to use for them at the moment."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She nodded in understanding. "I suppose it's not. It probably won't be for a long time." She says quietly. She couldn't imagine what it must be like for them right now.

 

[Matreania]

Adam sighed, wrapping his arm around her shoulder, "One stepping stone at a time. I'm sure Brandon will be his only guest for a while. Just to make sure that if something happens he won't escape."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She couldn't help leaning into him slightly, nodding a little at his words. "That would be good. What do you think happened to Emery's brother? I thought you said he was dead."

 

[Matreania]

Adam sighed, "I have no idea, we buried him, I saw his body. I don't know how he is back, but I am sure that it is going to be an interesting story."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She nodded solemnly. "I just hope its one with a good ending." She says quietly. She sighed and then forced a smile. "And if it does, Emery will have his brother back."

 

[Matreania]

Adam chuckled, nodding, "Yeah, I just hope they can get what they need out of him, without hurting him."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She smiled a little and nodded in agreement. With a sigh she looked forward to their path again. "Can you tell me more about the people who attacked us? Or I guess their organization as a whole at least."

 

[Matreania]

Adam shrugged, "Sure." he pulled away, "They are Shadows like us, they believe that we are the superior race and should be treated as such. That we shouldn't be doing anything but being served by humans. It's a cult-like thing and their goal is to kill or turn every one of us, starting with enslaving humans. In order for those that join sporadically to join when they see the possibilities that are envisioned....or something like that."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She nodded. "They sound messed up." She says. "They sound like most cults though...well I mean just that they're superior. I guess that these shado s here are a little more violent."

 

[Matreania]

Adam smirked, "Just a little." he teased, playfully, "Nothing we can't handle, the war actually happened because we stopped their firs attempt. And so, we track and stop them. Capture them sometimes."

 

[FangAndOzy]

"Does capturing them ever lead to anything useful or just a hassle to deal with in the end?" She asks curiously. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam shrugged, "Sometimes we can turn them back, in a way. We found out that some of the followers are brainwashed."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She nodded, hoping that was the case for Emery's brother. "How do they get to you guys? I mean other shadows to brainwash them? How do they even brainwash them in the first place? Is it some kind of magic or something?"

 

[Matreania]

Adam shrugged, "We have no idea, we heal them but they have no idea how they got the way that they are or anything between being brainwashed to when we do heal them."
