She blushed again and shook her head a little. "I'll be sure to let you know." She teases, laughing quietly. It was not the type of conversation she thought to have with...anyone really. But keeping it playful with Adam was kind of fun.

Her attention turned forward as she saw the spot. It was so close, just up ahead. "When I gonon my own, will you two stay here or leave?" She asks curiously.

Rowan didn't know enough to agree, she could only smile as Caleb hopped down. But her smile faded when she noticed they were no longer alone. "I suppose it was too much to hope we could make it the last hundred yards." She mutters.

Rowan looked to them both but then nodded as she turned to attentiom to Caleb. She knew she'd have to do as he said to make it the last hundred yards or so safely. Then she would figure out the last part. It was the only portal she had practiced the night before they left.

It didn't take long before they started to get attacked, Caleb didn't waste time before he glanced at Rowan, "Run." he ordered her as he dealt with those attacking them.

Rowan's breathing quickened as everything started to go wrong. She was only half way through the words she learned and she knew she couldn't complete it. So she did as he said and ran. She was a fast runner, she just hoped she would be fast enough.

She was nearly clear when a man landed on her, pinning her down with a smirk. "Hello, little one." he taunted, but before anything else, a blade went through his chest and fall, Caleb's dagger in his back, before Caleb was clear to each her. He sighed, "Come on."

Rowan let out a help of surprise and then started to squirm but before she could even budge an inch the man was dead. She looked to Caleb and quickly got to her feet to follow him.
