Rowan stumbled back a little and then raised an eyebrow as she looked to the other woman. “It’s Emery but in female form...” she muttered to herself. “I’m sorry, maybe we could help you with something?” She asked, this time so Miranda could hear. She had no idea who the woman was, and glanced to her father but he didn’t seem to know either.

Miranda sighed, "I am looking for the training area, specifically, Brendon, he is a Judge that was supposed to be here for a little while and I would like to find him quickly to get out of this ridiculous so called tower that can't function right."

Rowan smirked and glanced to her father. “Why don’t you start in Helena’s lab and I can show her where Brendon is.” She suggested. More just curious about the woman who was looking for him. Nicoli smirked but then nodded as he continued on his way. Rowan looked to the other woman and gave her a smile. “Come on, its not far from here. How do you know Brendon?” She asked curiously. “Oh, I’m Rowan by the way.” She added. Something about Miranda’s tone made her hesitate in telling her that she and Brendon were working together on a mission.

Miranda sighed as she walked with Rowan, "I'm his wife." she stated and looked around as if something would crawl out of the walls, "This tower is so....disgusting, I don't understand why he ever liked this place." she snapped before she sighed, "I'm Miranda and Brendon was only supposed to be in this horrible place for a few days. You warriors might like this place, but this is the worse tower for any respectable Shadow."

Rowan smirked a little. "Well it's nice to meet you officially, I've gotten to work with your husband and as for this place...I wouldn't know any different. I have only lived here a couple weeks." She said with a faintly amused smirk. She hadn't realized how much Miranda didn't like this place by Brendan's words alone until she spoke to the other woman.

Miranda sighed, "Then you should move before this becomes your daily norm," she sighed, "I feel like just the air is going to make me into a barbarian."

Rowan couldn't help to giggle a little. "Sorry, it's not funny, I just...you're so different from everyone here. Now I personally like it just fine, but it's refreshing." She said as they neared the training hall.

Miranda frowned, "Then you are just crazy. Of course you wouldn't meet a person like me, like Eric was, I am from an Original Line and we are raised in places with more....proper."

Rowan raised an eyebrow, curious, but then smiled a little. "Well maybe one day I will get to go to your tower and I can get to know you a little better. I have liked working with Brendon, I can only assume as his wife you're pretty extraordinary." She said. She meant it, she would love to know the type of woman who Brendon seemed to love so much. She gestured to the entry of the training area. "If he's really in the training area, then he should be just in here." She said, leading Miranda inside.

Miranda sighed as she walked in, Brendon was there, training, before he saw Miranda, "Miranda?!" he said surprised and shocked all at once.

Miranda took a deep breath before she stormed towards him, "You are supposed to be coming home." she snapped, but didn't get to close, he was a little sweaty, "And you are training." she looke dat him..

Brendon opened his mouth to say something but closed it shortly after, then he tried again, but nothing happened. It took him a few tries before he said, "Things got complicated."

"Complicated?" she said as if that wasn't a word that he was allowed to use.

"Eric is alive."

"You have got to be kidding me." Miranda growled in frustrated, "The one thing I could ask of him and he couldn't stay died."

"Miranda." Brendon looked a little surprised at her, "I know you two didn't get along, but he is my best friend."

"He was." Miranda corrected, "He was your best friend and he got you in trouble ever chance he got. He was reckless and you followed him. Is it wrong that that is not something I want to happen again. He was a better friend to you died then he has ever been alive."

Brendon took a deep breath, "We aren't having this conversation again. He is alive and as long as he is, I am going to stay here and bring him back."

Miranda questions, "Bring him back?"

Brendon paused, knowing that there was something he didn't wnat to say to her, but he let it slip so he nodded, "Eric is currently brainwashed and we are going to bring him back."

"Brain washed." she snapped, shouting, "Your best friend not only is back from the dead but he is back as a rebel. OH, NO, BRENDON, WE ARE NOT GOING TO DEAL WITH THIS. WE ARE GOING HOME."

Rowan watched only until the arguing started. Unsure of what to do with herself she stepped out, waiting near the door just in case. She had been surprised herself at what Miranda had said, but she knew she had no place to judge. She knew nothing...well very little...about everything.

Brendon sighed as he took a step back, and then he moved towards Miranda, she yelped as he lifted her off her feet and over his shoulder, "Put me down, mister." she ordered.

Brendon sighed, as she fought him every step, until he was outside, "Thank you, Rowan, I will have to talk to you another time. If you will excuse me, I will have to meet with you a little later." he said then smirked, "I have a bit of a brat to deal with." he teased.

Rowan looked on in surprise, but then quickly nodded so he knew she understood before turning away so Miranda didn't catch her smile or stifled laugh. After a moment she went to Helena's lab to help her father finish clearing it out and then returned to the Med Hall and Helena.

Helena was already on her feet when they got back, going over everything in her head, about the experiment and how to make it work, along with what Anthony had brought for her to take.

Nicoli set down the things he’d brought and walked over to Helena, gently placing a hand on his shoulder and keeping it there as he moved closer to her. “How are you feeling?” He asked. Rowan watched a moment, then averted her gaze as if not to watch an intimate moment, even if that were not the case. She placed the boxes down and looked around the room. She hoped it would not take her and Eric long for her to learn Shadow Transfer.

Helena smirked at him, nodding, "I'm fine. The tea helps and I don't even feel like I'm injured." she smiled at him, "To think, before I meet you, I never had to be in the Med Hall, now I feel like this is as familiar as being in my lab." she teased, before turning to Rowan, "Thank you for helping."

Nicoli chuckled, but gave her a sheepish smile. “Yeah...sorry about that.” He said, looking over to Rowan who gave Helena a shy smile.

“I’m happy to help.” She said. She still stayed closer to the edge of the room. “Is there anything else you need me to do?” She asked Helena. Wondering if she should give them privacy.

Helena sighed, shaking her head, "No, I think...." before she could finish her sentence, Kelly bursted in with Anthony behind her.

"Kel." Anthony sighed.

Kelly ignored him as she moved towards, "I need your help." she told Helena.

Helena looked confused, gathering what little she could from what Anthony had called this woman and how much she looked like her mother, she nodded, "Kelly? Right? I'm sorry, I don't understand."

Kelly sighed, "You created a device for Nicoli's mission to the snow lands, so his team could locate each other by collecting blood samples from them both." she stated, "I need that device."

Helena looked aconfused to Nicoli and then Anthony, "I don't have the time to recreate that. Nicoli and his team ended up destroying the ones I made before." she explained.

Kelly growled as she grabbed Helena, "Kelly?!" Anthony warned.

But Kelly didn't pay attention to him, "I'm not asking you to do it, you are going to make it."

Nicoli looked on in confusion, realizing who Kelly was only because how alike she looked to her parents. She had only just been a toddler before he left. He moved to her and carefully pried her away from Helena. Holding her firm enough that she couldn’t get away. “Why don’t you explain what’s going on...calmly.” He said. There was a sternness to his tone that only a leader could manage. Rowan moved into the room then, moving to stand beside Helena, watching in confusion as she did.

Helena watched confused, placing her hand reassuring on Rowan's arm, so she knew it was going to be okay. Kelly glared at Nicoli, before she managed to get herself free, "This is a Shadow problem, not a human. Don't you have whole human world to replace your human with. You are ever so good at replacing."

Anthony growled, "Kelly, that is enough." he sighed, "Helena is leaving and you aren't even of this tower to challenge that."

Kelly snapped at him, "Gabriel is." she looked at Helena, "My Guard is gone and you are the only one that can make the device to find out where." she sighed, "I'm not of this tower, but I haven't been called back and he is my Guard." she looked at Anthony, "I don't have to challenge that. My Guard takes priority of two would be siblings dispute, or do you not understand the contract of the Spy and Towers." The Spies fall under the Guardians that they decided to be in the tower with. But where not controlled by them, in the same way. But a Spy Guard was important to keep save, if they were ever in danger, it is the Spy's right to do whatever they need to, to save them. No Guardian can rule over what a Spy believes will help their Guard survive.

Rowan’s eyes widened a little and Nicoli frowned as he listened. “I might know where your guard is being kept.” She said, the words sliding from her before she could stop them. Her mind was working and things were not moving fast enough. “Anthony when does Hector return? Has there been any kind of word from him?” She asked. “And Helena how long would it take for you to make what Kelly is asking for?” She asked, having heard the girl’s name only. She knew she could say nothing more about what she knew. Not to them. But she desperately needed to speak with Hector.

Kelly, Anthony and Helena looked at Rowan confused and surprised, "Are you seriously allowing a human to take charge." Kelly snarled at Anthony and then turned to Helena.

Helena sighed, "Rowan is my blood, Kelly. You will do well to remember that." she told her protectively, before turning to Rowan, "It'll take me at least a few days, there aren't enough of the metals I need." she smirked, "You can help me with that, if you speak to your Smith friend." she commented.

Anthony sighed, knowing that Rowan hadn't been claimed but if Helena was pointing out the blood, that meant Rowan only had to say something to Helena, Hector or Kyle* and the Original Line would pull there weight to get Rowan whatever she wanted. "Hector speaks to Kyle* only. No one else would know anything about how he is doing or when he will be back."

Helena smirked, before she sighed, "Well, then. We should get to work."

Kelly sighed, glaring at Rowan "And what makes you think you know where my Guard is?"

Rowan nodded some to Helena. But at Kelly’s words she turned a glare to her. “I can’t share anything yet, but I understand why you are so concerned. Believe me, I’m due time I will tell you, but not until Hector and Kyle* understand what is going on.” Her tone was stern, demanding to be listened to, but not unkind. Her gaze steady and even, it didn’t occur to her that she was taking charge. She turned her attention back to Helena. “Tell me what you need and I will speak with Adam. Once that is on the way then I will speak to Kyle*.” She said. She stayed near Helena, placing a hand over hers that rested on her arm. Nicoli watched on in surprise, though he supposed he shouldn’t be, not when he considered who’s blood his daughter had within her. He smirked a little but then moved to Anthony.

“Have you sent the message to your friend in the Southern Tower about what you need to Helena?” He asked, referring to the Shadow Transfer. He asked quiet enough so only Anthony could hear.

Kelly sighed, glaring as Helena nodded, "Okay." Helena said, "I need the Iron of a Diamond Dwarf, Galiffik and Shifted Earth from the Fairy Heart." she told Rowan, then smirked, "He will understand. I can get everything else done mostly while I wait for those metals."

Anthony nodded, "Eri will have everything in a few days, she will come here when she does." he assured Nicoli.

Rowan nodded and without thinking leaned over and kissed Helena’s temple. “I’m case your departure can’t be held off. Then have a safe journey. I will see about getting those metals for you.” She said quietly so only Helena could hear. She turned to go, she was going to breeze past Kelly but then stopped. “We are going to get your guard back.” She promised gently. She didn’t dare tell her she was Caleb’s guard, a concept she was still trying to understand herself. But there was something in her tone that implied she knew on a deeper level how important it was to keep a Spy’s guard safe. She gave the other woman a small smile before leaving the room to find Adam.

Nicoli nodded his thanks. “Good. Thank you Anthony.” He said. He sighed a little and looked between Kelly and Helena and smirked at his daughter’s retreating back. “I don’t know if I should be afraid of her or proud or both.” He teased quietly.
