Young Helena pouted, "Yeah, yeah. Time stuff." she looked back and then sighed, frowning, "Wait." She stopped and looked at Nicoli seriously, "That was a time spell. What am I doing working on a time spell, those are illegal. They are banned fro a reason. They are unpredictable and dangerous and they could change things in the past or the future." she protest, "Nicoli." she said in a tone that told him she was not going to drop this fact and wasn't happy about it.

“Please, Helena you know I can’t tell you. It’s bad enough that we’re doing a time spell, I can’t make it worse by telling you anything.” He said, pleading with her. “You will learn in due time okay?” He added, gently running his fingers through her hair and brushing it back behind her ear.

Young Helena looked at him and sighed, "It better be a good reason. You got lucky with me, but time spells need more then just luck. If it was anything else, it would take the caster." she told him, before she started to move again, "You don't know how dangerous these spells are. One of us will die." she told him as she walked, "There is no way around it, even if I got it right, the caster always dies."

Nicoli pauses in walking and then continued on with her. “I know, you warned me but...but I’m starting to think it may not be worth it.” He said quietly. Of course he’d love to see his wife again, but he wasn’t so sure he was willing to pay the cost of getting her back.

Young Helena smirked at him, "Good. Then maybe I was supposed to help you remember it is a bad idea." she told him, "Besides, you need blood." she told him, "Otherwise the spell will get all crazy and hurt other people. You need the blood of the caster to make sure that when the spell is cast, it won't hurt others. Time spells have waves, as soon as they are cast. Who's blood did you use?" she asked, "I hope it wasn't yours." she said, "No telling how painful it can get."

“I...no it wasn’t mine.” He said, he felt a twisting in his stomach. Helena surely used her own blood. They reached the tree and he chose to try to steer the conversation in a different direction. “The time we pulled you from. How close to the wedding was it? What all is going on?” He asked.

Young Helena smirked, knowing what he was doing, "A few days. My mother and sister just arrived to help me with my dress and tomorrow your mother will be here to make sure I look as beautiful as ever." she teased, then sighed, looking around, "You' be back in a day or two and then we are going to our spot and talk about this new gadget I made for you. Do you remember, it was supposed to allow you to use your link with your Shadow weapon, so if you ever dropped it, like on your mission to the human world to stop that group of rogues from trying to take over the America." she giggled, "You nearly got us figured out, if it wasn't for your quick thinking as you boosted about." she teased. "But this tool will make sure you can call your weapon, no matter where it is." she told him, but she never did tell him before she ended up letting him go. She smiled at him, "You loved it, didn't you? I hope you do."

“Of course. Something like that is incredibly useful for anyone with a shadow weapon I think. Especially those like me.” He teased gently. He remembered the day all too well. He’d been with Olivia and trying to figure out how he was going to tell Helena he couldn’t go through with the wedding. He took a seat by the tree, urging her to sit with him. “I can’t tell you details, but I can tell you there will be some rough times ahead and I need you to promise me you’re going to stay strong okay? You’ve always been resilient and as you saw you’re...you’re here with me. But it will be hard.” He said gently.

Young Helena looked at him, "I'm sure it will be fine." she said, as she placed her hand on his, she smiled, "We just have to stick it out together." she assured him, "I know that and I know we did." she looked at him, "i love you very much Nicoli. More then I will admit. What ever happened, just know, you will always be the only love I will ever have and as long as I have you, there is nothing that will make me ever give up." she leaned over and kissed his cheek, "I love you, Nicoli, no matter what time it is. That's all we have to think about. No one's happiness matters more to me." then she thought, "Well, right now, I mean, I am sure if we had children, theirs will mean a lot to me too." she teased.

Nicoli smiled at her, but he couldn’t bring himself to say anything as he gently brushed his fingers through her hair. If it weren’t for Rowan, he would probably tell her everything. Convince her to snap him out of leaving her. This incredible woman who he did not deserve. But he had his daughter to think about, he could not erase her from existence for his own selfish reasons. He’d already hurt Helena because of that he would not do it again. “I love you too Helena.” He said quietly. And it was true.

Young Helena smiled, taking a breath, "Then I'm not worried." she assured him, "No matter how rough it gets, we will get through it. We survived my mother." she teased, giggling, before she say someone coming from teh corner of her eye.

Helena sighed, as she reached them, holding the orb, "Done." she said with a smile, "We should get you home." she tried to hold that smile, for her younger self, she remembered noticing a sadness, but the smile hid it so well, she thought it was just to know that she changed time. But she knew better, this was the last time, she felt a love as strong as she had with Nicoli, before he left. Because when he came back, she would see it. See that Nicoli had found a love with someone else, and she would let him go, without a fight. Helena smiled as she held the orb, this was the last time she was going to see the light in her own eyes, before she felt the heart break of letting Nicoli go.

Young Helena jumped to her feet with a smirk, "Yep. And whatever you two are up two, I trust you know better." she said, before turning to her older self, "Get it checked, never know how serious it will be." she warned, before looking at Nicoli, "I will see you when you get back."

Nicoli gave her a gentle smile and nodded. “Be safe and be strong. I love you.” He said quietly. He took the orb from Helena. “Same as before?” He asked her. He was already getting the mental picture in place, though he hadn’t been there, of where she was supposed to return to. After, he knew he couldn’t let Helena carry on with this.

Helena nodded, "Yep, and she will just walk in." she stated, as she gave the orb to Nicoli, "Just think of teh same thing that you thought of when you did it the first time." she told him.

Young Helena smiled at Nicoli, "Ready when you are."

Nicoli smiled at her and when he knew he had a clear image of where Helena was supposed to go, he dropped the orb and stepped back to watch as the young Helena was returned to her correct time.

When Young Helena went through, Helena let out a breath, the pain got hard to hold back as she fall to her knees, in pain, spitting out blood. She took a few deep breath as she closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath and get her composers again.

Nicole rushed to Helena’s side, wrapping his arms around her. “Shit...come on.” He said quietly as he picked her up with ease. Carrying her carefully back to their rooms. “Helena you used your own blood right?” He said as he walked, his voice quiet and gentle. He held her with the utmost care as he walked.
Once they were in her room he set her down gently on the bed.

Helena took a few more deep breaths before she sat up, "I'm fine, Nicoli." she looked up at him, before laying down again, "Maybe just a little rest and then a trip to the Med hall. If I just twick it just a bit, I think I can manage it." she sighed, looking up at the ceiling, "I'll have it ready again by tomorrow, at the latest." she assured him.

“No. Helena no more. I am not going to lose you, I’m not going to be that selfish again.” He said as he sat beside her, taking her hand in his. “No more of this.” He whispered.

Helena looked up at him, "No." she said as she sat up, "I know what happened and I was young then." she told him, protesting, "Nicoli, this is your wife. I can't stop if I know that I can get her back." she sighed, "This is fine. I don't even need to go to the Med Hall." she smirked slightly, "Trust me, Nicoli, I can do this."

“Helena no.” He said sternly. “I’m still taking you to the med hall and then we’re going to have a serious talk about this because I can’t lose you.” He said.

Helena sighed, "You didn't mine before." she closed her mouth after that and sighed, looking down, "I'm sorry, Nicoli, I didn't mean that." she said before looking at her. "Nicoli, I haven't found a reason to do anything, but this, I have a reason for this."

Her words stung, but Nicoli couldn’t deny it. “Don’t be sorry Helena. You’re not wrong and I am sorry. I wish I could make it up to you, to take all that pain I caused you.” His whispered. “When you feel up to walking we’ll get you to the Med Hall, after that we’ll discuss this further.” He added.

Helena sighed, "Nicoli. I....I won't stop." she told him as she laid down, "You were never supposed to come back. Rowan should never have had to lose here mother. It's not fair to stop when I know I can help, no matter what happens."

Nicoli sighed and without thinking lay down beside her. “If I didn’t have Rowan to think about I would have told your younger self to stop me.” He said. “I am letting you do this for her, but we need to find a way to make it...safer. Are you able to use my blood?” He asked.

Helena looked at him, "I won't." she told him. "I can lie, and say yes, but I won't use it." she sighed, "Nicoli, that me, you talked to, hasn't changed. I still love you very deeply, I'd still give up everything for you." she smiled weakly, "This isn't just for her. It matters that you would change everything, but it also matters why you would change it. You feel guilty and taht's not a good reason to want to change things, because you wouldn't be happy and that is the hole point. I want you to be happy."
