Max sighed softly and kissed the top of his head "Well baby sometimes these things happen. Mommy and Daddy, thats a long story and I'm not sure if Daddy would want to live with Mommy full time." She said softly

JD rolled his eyes some "She knows I've been busy with Amelia and working. I talked with her two weeks ago." He murmured smiling when he saw Amelia asleep again

She shrugged a bit "Don't tell me that, tell her. She's worried about you... You've lost weight, not in a good way, you stopped looking after yourself.... What would Carmen say if she saw you ri-" She cut off when she saw the look in his eyes

Jax grumbled a bit and rolled his eyes the way Jeff did then curled into her, "Well did you ask him?" He sassed her, giving a little head wiggle as well

Max looked at him shocked "No I havent and you need to watch how you speak to me young man." She said sternly sitting up a bit more

JD glared at his sister shaking his head "Dont. Just dont. I am doing my best for her, I am doing everything for that little girl in your arms so dont fucking start." He said sternly taking a deep breath

He mumbled a sorry and just held onto her, sitting up when Jeff started coughing in his sleep, "Mommy can we go see Daddy at work tomorrow please?" He asked her.

Jess frowned and set her down in her travel cot then sighed heavily, "It's been four months Jorge...."

Max looked over at Jeff giving a small smile "Well if he is okay with I dont see why not." She said softly kissing the top of his head "So tell me about all the new foods you've tried."

JD frowned "Yeah! Four goddamn months, I still miss her dearly and I dont want to try and find anyone else right now." He muttered

Jax just stared at Jeff when he coughed more in his sleep "He be doing this a lot at his home." He told her "Mommy I don't like spicy food." He smiled at her.

Jess frowned some and watched him, "I never said get yourself out there. When was the last time you showered though?!" She questioned him

Max frowned at his coughing and gave a small nod "Well we wont have any spicy food tonight okay?" She murmured glancing at Jeff as he woke up "Hey you okay? You were coughing a lot."

JD frowned some "I havent had time, Amelia cant be left alone." He muttered shaking his head sighing heavily "I just....fuck Im barely hanging on here."

“Alright well I’m here with her. Go take a shower and a nap. That’s an order.” She smiled at him and hugged him tightly. “You don’t have to do this by yourself.” She told him quietly.

He frowned looking over at her and shrugged a bit. “I’ve been better, yeah I got a medical with work coming up. I’m gonna talk to them about it there.” He told her quietly.

JD sighed heavily but nodded going to step into the shower sighing heavily as he just stood in there trying to think about something other than Carmen

Max nodded giving a small frown "Let me know what they say okay?" She said softly running a hand through his hair "Why dont you stay here tonight, be a full family." She said quietly biting her lip gently

Jeff smiled at her some seeing Jax had run off to go play with the puppy some more, "I've been thinking.... along the lines of being a full family... Why don't you and I go on a date.... See where it takes us?" He said quietly. "I still care about you like that, I know it didn't end well before but... I think we could really give it a go this time." He suggested.

Jess was busy cleaning up downstairs when she found a little envelope filled with more envelopes that all had Amelia's name on them and a number in a circle going from 1 to 21 and she swallowed a little, looking over to JD when he came back down, "Did you know she's written Amelia birthday cards?" She asked him

Max bit her lip hard but soon gave a small smile as she looked at him leaning up and kissing his cheek gently "I'd love to Jeff." She said softly cupping his cheek gently

JD frowned and went wide eyed taking them from her "Why were you snooping?! I had these put away." He said glaring at her a bit before he put the back in the small box he had kept them in.

He smiled and nodded "Alright... I'll let you know when I get something sorted out for this week." He told her quietly.

Jess frowned, "I was cleaning up for you." She muttered

Max nodded softly and smiled more "That sounds great." she said quietly scooting closer to him "Jax asked me why we don't live together, he says you need someone to take care of you. Is everything okay?" she asked hoping it was nothing serious

JD nodded and sighed heavily pulling his sister into a big hug "I'm sorry...I just...I don't know whats wrong with me. I've been getting help from Max but it still hurts." he murmured

She frowned and looked up at him, "Jorge that's why I'm here, we're trying to help you.... you won't accept it properly from me and mom though."

Jeff nodded "I'm alright, just a little under the weather and our son has inherited your worrying." He chuckled

JD nodded and sighed heavily looking at Amelia as she stood in her play pen babbling "I just want her happy."

Max laughed softly and kissed his cheek "Oh the poor thing." She said giggling gently cuddling him some "I um....Ive missed you Jeff." She said quietly

She smiled some at him. “And she’s the lickiest little girl in the world. She’s got you for a dad. She’ll be happy. As long as you take care of yourself as well.” She reminded him.

Jeff smiled and held her close some. “I’ve missed you too. I’m glad you’ve got yourself sorted out a lot more too.”

JD nodded softly and gave a small sigh "Max recommended a group to me...about lost significant others." He murmured wanting to see what she thought about it

Max smiled happily at him and nodded "Yeah I'm glad too, but please...please don't take him away for that long again." She said quietly giving him pleading eyes.

She nodded some. “Have you gone yet?” She asked and frowned when he said no. “Maybe you should.” She pointed out.

Jeff nodded some, too tired to argue with her and just leaned back falling asleep again

JD nodded some "Yeah....when I can find someone to watch her." He murmured looking at Amelia

Max smiled softly and got up to make dinner. It was about an hour later when she noticed Jeff walk into the kitchen to get a drink "Hey there sleepy head."

Jeff frowned and wandered over to her, leaning against the counter and watched her tiredly. “We decide against the cookout?” He asked her quietly.

She shook her head. “Text me the days and times. I’ll watch her Alright?” She assured him. “She’s my niece and I wanna spend time with her she smiled at him.

Max shook her head some "No we are, I'm just making Mac and Cheese as a side. Jax requested it." She said giving a small laugh before the timer went off and she ran outside to flip the burgers

JD nodded some and smiled as Amelia squealed and bounced in her play pen "She looks so much like her."

Jeff nodded and headed out there, rubbing at his face and trying to wake himself up a little more but he had been so worn out lately and he gently took over from Max to sort out the meat, "Is it just us then?" He asked her quietly.

She just nodded and sighed a bit, "You'll get through this... Carmen wouldn't have wanted you to get stuck like this." She pointed out quietly and squeezed his shoulder before heading out to go home and Amelia reached up to her Dad, babbling nonsense

Max nodded some and stepped back from the grill "Yeah JD wasn't answering his phone." She said giving a small shrug "But thats okay, we can have a family dinner."

Jd picked up Amelia and smiled softly just staring at his little girl "Daddy loves you sooooo much sweetheart." He murmured

Jeff nodded and finished up with the grill, getting everythign on the table with her right as his phone rang and he answered, frowning some "Uh huh.... Alright I'm on my way." He muttered and looked at Max, "Emergency call, don't wait for me." He told her and kissed her cheek then Jax's head and rushed out the door to go to work quickly.

Amelia squealed and promptly grabbed at his beard and tugged hard then giggled loudly, snuggling herself in close to his shoulder and curling up there to go to sleep

Max nodded softly giving a small frown squeezing Jax's hand softly "You want amything on your burger baby?" She asked glancing at her phone as it wemt off flashing JD's number.

JD got his phone keeping Amelia close as he called Max back asking if it was still okay for him to come over.
