Yui watched the entire thing, her face turning a light shade of pink as she smiled. "Will do mam." She said, saluting. After she had left, she saw his face and she began to laugh, her grin spreading wide over her face as she wrapped her arms around her stomach, falling to the side a bit to lean on his shoulder, trying to control her laugh.

 

[Joker]

Shou blushes a bit as she leans on his shoulder. He then reaches for the tea with his other hand as he took a sip from it. A life like this wasn't so bad and maybe he should really move on about Mei. If there was anyone he could trust his heart onto, it would be the girl right besides him. And Shou silently made a promise to himself, that he would forget about Mei and start to fall in love with Yui. Yeah, it's a really good idea for Shou.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui finally got over her laughter and she sat up. "Sorry." She said, blushing a bit. She smiled taking her orange juice and taking a sip, holding it in her hands. She stared at the tub of ice cream in front of her, trying to think of something to say. She shivered a bit and took half of his blanket. "Sharing is caring." She joked, wrapping herself up too.

 

[Joker]

Shou blushed as they shared a blanket together. But rather than feeling embarrassed, he felt as if he had finally found the right person. Just as he was about to pull her towards him to make it a little bit warmer, someone then once again knocks on the door. Assuming that he was his mother again, he responded " We're okay here mom ! " . Then the door was slammed open as Taka was on the other side of the door way giving Shou 'the-how-dare-you-look' .


" I thought when you sent me a text with a 'we' on it was a little suspicious, so I came here to check. Then I find you and HER in your bedroom alone.. " Taka says in a low, yet disappointed voice.


"I-i-it's not what you think Taka ! " Shou tried to reason with him as he gives a friendly nervous laugh. As Taka just tears up and runs off.


" My Bestfriend is finally a man ! " he shouted as he was running away as Shou wasn't sure of what happened.


" W-we should follow him. " He suggested to Yui as he gave her an unsure smile.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui smiled evilly. "And toss the blanket over his head and hog tie him!" She suggested, knowing it was a bit out there. She knew sometimes she could be a little bit of a nut, but is was so funny to his reaction. Sometimes she could be a bit much, but she was having fun. She smiled at him. "You with me?" She asked.

 

[Joker]

Shou laughs, he doesn't know if she was serious or not but he nods. He then stood up from his position and went downstairs as his mother was already preparing lunch on the kitchen, humming to herself a happy tune. It was as if she was happy about something but Shou didn't bother to ask. " Oh my ? Going already ? " she asks as she notices Shou putting on his shoes.


" We're just gonna go get Taka. " he answers as his mother smiles. " Okay then, better come back fast, or the food is gonna go cold ! " she informs him as Shou nods.

Yui smiled, getting up soon after him. She practically jumped down all the stairs, landing on the bottom floor. She smiled, waving at his mom and slipping on her shoes. She then fixed her ponytail a bit and opened the door, walking out to go find Taka and tackle him to the ground, or so she hoped. She didn't want him to mad.

 

[Joker]

" Hm, knowing Taka for a looooooooong time.. he should be.. " he mutters to himself as he grabs Yui's hand and starts running to the direction to where he predicts Taka will be. This has been the first time he had to drag a girl together with him on some place. Hopefully, Yui doesn't mind him pulling her hand like that and dragging her to some place. They were running on the streets, and he could feel his heart feeling a little at ease now that he is once again enjoying his time. And now he knows it clearly well, Yui really is the one for him.


As they were running and Taka being deep in thought. He then started to tear up again, but that was to say goodbye to Mei. First love really does hurt, but that doesn't mean he can't let go of it. He wiped his tears with his other arm and smiled brightly.

Yui squealed a bit when he took her hand. Blushing, she looked down, her blank face soon gaining a smile. She saw a tear flick past her, and she saw him rub them away. She smiled and darted forward, passing him. "Come on slow poke!" She joked, running along side him instead of behind him. She liked it better this way. She felt like she was over Jason already. 'Well that was quick.' Yui thought.

 

[Joker]

Shou was surprised that Yui was going along with this as he nods. He then keeps up with her as they run together side by side. He then points at that arcade on the right trying to show her that Taka is over there. But then he realizes that he is finally out of breath since he is not a very athletic person. But he kept running until they arrived at the front entrance of the arcade as he starts panting heavily and laughing. He hasn't ran like this in a long time now.


" Taka should be inside, g..go look for him.. i'll catch some breath here.. " he asks her as he was panting.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui looked at him for a second. "Don't die." She said, walking inside. She walked around, looking for Taka. She hummed walking around, until she found Taka out of the corner of her eyes, playing a game. Rubbing her hands together, she walked up behind him and put her hands over his eyes and tugged him backwards.

 

[Joker]

Breathing in deeply, he then regains his normal breathing as he stood up straight and went inside the arcade. He smiled and looked around for Taka to find Yui covering Taka's eyes. He walks over and joins in on the fun, he leans over to his ear and whispers. " Guess who ? ". Taka then assumes that it was Shou as he sways his hand backward over to which he assumes it was Shou's chest. Only to touch something soft and bulged on their.


" Uh.. Taka.. I'm not the one covering your eyes.. " he whispered once again. And Taka realizing who it REALLY was.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui was having fun, until he reached his hand back, assuming him that it was Shou, which it wasn't. She blushed heavily taking a deep breath before kicking upwards into his crotch, making him let go. Once he had let go, she covered her chest and walked over next to Shou, standing behind him, seeming to protect herself from Taka.

 

[Joker]

Taka made a funny face as he was kicked in the gutters. It must be the worst feeling ever to be kicked there. He just laughs nervously as Taka crawled up and fell down from his seat. " Shou.. whyyyy... " Taka nearly fainted as Shou went over to pick him up. He gave Yui the you-should'nt-have-done-that look, but not in an angry way. He was concerned that Taka would go impotent or worst.


" Come on Taka, just walk it off. " he says as he helps him to a nearby bench.

 

[IceQueen]

"Sorry." Yui said, looking at him. "Reaction." She said, looking at them. For some reason, the look he gave her made a cold sensation go though her heart, which was weird. She clutched her heart, looking down for a minute. She brushed it off, letting her hands drop to her sides. She gave a sheepish smile to him.

 

[Joker]

He looks at Taka feeling very sick as he sighs. " Okay, you stay put there while me and Yui go enjoy ourselves in the arcade. " he tells him as he turns to look at Yui and smiles. " So, what do you wanna play first ? " he asks her as he shows her around the arcade where there is whack-a-mole, street fighters, those crane games where you pick up stuff toys.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui thought about it, letting a smile slip back to her face. "Hmmm, how about street fighter?" She asked, knowing she was good at that game. Normally, her and Mei would play it all the time, but that was the past. She hadn't been talking to her all day, and for some reason, it felt really good. Like a weight from her shoulders was gone.

 

[Joker]

He raises an eyebrow, he was really bad at street fighters since he doesn't really play much fighting games. He prefers racing ones rather than fighting ones actually. But he didn't insist, he sat on the front of the machine and inserted a coin as he waited for Yui to sit on the other side so that they can begin playing the game.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui smiled, sitting down across from him, smiling at the screen. "Let's play!" She said, choosing Chung Lee. She loved that character, with her combinations of high and low kicks, she could crush anyone. She was arguably the best player in the game, according to her. She smiled, having fun with Shou so far.

 

[Joker]

Shou wasn't able to keep up with her skills in this game. He lost quite a couple of times before giving up and laughing. " Alright you win. I'm bad at this anyway. " he says with a teasing pride. He then looks over to where Taka was only to find he wasn't there anymore. " Taka's gone. " he says to Yui.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui smiled, happy she one. About Taka, she frowned a bit. "Guess I did kick him pretty hard." She said in apologetic tone." I used to do karate and a bunch of martial arts so it probably hurt pretty bad." She said, looking down at her muscular legs. She smiled a bit and walked towards him. "Guess it's just me and you."

 

[Joker]

Shou laughs nervously and made himself a reminder not to piss Yui off. " Well, Taka is trained in martial arts too, but being kicked in the gahoots isn't taught to them so. " he cuts himself off and just laughs. They then spend the day in the arcade together as they finally stopped in one of those crane things where you try your best to win a doll or a plushie.


" Which one do you want ? " he asks her as he searches for a coin in his pocket.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui thought about it, looking at all the small stuffed toys inside the machine. "Hmm, the white kitten." She said, pointing to the small stuffed kitten that was sitting near the top of the pile. It was in a fairly easy spot, but she was never any good at these games. She preferred the coin pushers because she had luck with timing.

 

[Joker]

Shou grinned as he took out his last coin, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have any money to convert into coins. He thought that he shouldn't waste money much since he's still in high school and coming by money is difficult. So he inserted the coin and professionally moves the crane towards the white kitten. Knowing how this game works already, he then pushed the button for it to go down as it slowly and dramatically goes down to grab the kitten.


The crane nearly missed it's marked as it only grabbed the kitten by the tip of it's ears. "Come on.." Shou muttered as he waited for the Crane to take back the stuffed toy down the drain as a prize. Every second felt like minutes as finally, the crane arrived at it's destination and dropped the prize. Shou, feeling good with himself took the prize out of it's vent and showed it to Yui with a smile. " Did it ! " he says in a happy tone.

 

[IceQueen]

Yui's smile brightened. "Aww! Thank you!" She said, wrapping him in a warm hug and squeezing him, letting go after a few seconds. She had a small blush on her face as she took the kitten gently from Shou, her face pink. She smiled, looking down at the toy before wrapping it in her arms tightly, not letting go.
