Dumb as the crazy man looked it seemed like he was fighting harder on his behalf. Sure would suck to die here even if it looked like he was going to respawn. While he didn't get a good swing he at least managed to block a strike. And if he could do that while his foe dealt damage, all the better. Still, he needed to get something good going as the longer the turkey was alive, the more dangerous it was to his friend as well. The creature was on it's last legs and with blood in the air.

"Batter up." Once the turkey came lunging forward Vince swung out with rising swing, seeking to stop the turkey in it's track -- before the bat would slide seamlessly in his hands into a two handed, defensive stance.

The Mechanic smiled, his teeth ironically red with his own blood.

"Thanks. Didn't even break a sweat." Vince said, wincing in pain as he spit out some of his own blood. Wiping his mouth, he starts to decide what it is he'd like to do.

It was then that he began to rummage through the turkey's things. Meat appeared to be no good. Probably was filled with rabies or something. But the armor was nice. The mechanic felt damn near naked without it.

"Just my size. Gonna need some food soon though. Seems to hit the spot enough to heal my wounds. I'm sure you feel it too." The intricate mechanics as to how such a thing worked were lost on him. But all that mattered to him was it did.

Vince put on the armor as Michael walked ahead, soon to follow him once he slipped it on.

Grumbling about her obnoxious gotcha-laden subconscious, Miiya began collecting her bodies. it didn't feel right, just leaving herself laying around. It took some doing, but eventually she had herselves stacked up like cordwood, doused with a LOT of accelerant, and set ablaze.

As she watched the towering inferno, (and tried to ignore Mephisto’s whining) she wondered about the symbolism of not getting credit for literally killing herself in this bizarro dream.

Probably had something to do with her mother. “Whatever. I'm not paying a shrink $200 an hour to find out.”

These thoughts were the last thing that went through her mind, besides a Turkey bone.
