If I remember correctly a legit literary agent shouldn't cost anything up front to represent your work. They get 15% of what you make from representing you anyway, so if I recall correctly they don't get paid until you do. Well, if you want to get technical, the Publisher routes the money to your agent, who gets their portion before routing the rest to you.(along with the required information and stubs) From what I've learned if an agent(or editor) is asking for money up front they are a scam.Dragongal said:I don't know if I could afford an agent, but I don't want to self-publish XP
