I don't know if I could afford an agent, but I don't want to self-publish XP
If I remember correctly a legit literary agent shouldn't cost anything up front to represent your work. They get 15% of what you make from representing you anyway, so if I recall correctly they don't get paid until you do. Well, if you want to get technical, the Publisher routes the money to your agent, who gets their portion before routing the rest to you.(along with the required information and stubs) From what I've learned if an agent(or editor) is asking for money up front they are a scam.

That's what I've heard, but I don't know. I don't want to self-publish the first in a series, because then there's hella legal problems if I get a bigger publishing house later on for the rest of the series.

I'm not a big fan of self publishing either. Nothing against people who do it, but its not the route I want to take. Tell you what, I'll try to get a link to some videos that have really helped me out. They help explain the craft and business end in plain english.

Why oh why are my alerts broken as fuck... I need to pay more attention to shit.

But then again Uni broke my mind and now I'm kinda hanging here drooling trying to understand wtf Kant is saying

I thought desert people who made their pre-civilisation cities in the oases of the deserts in caverns below, escaping the insects. Then they made shrines on top, but forgot about them as their initial belief that the godly spirits resided in the sky died out, because they adapted to a life in the desert below, worshipping the fake suns instead.

Until they all died out.

Just put Indy in a 10ft tall mechanized Power Armor suit with an attached Flame thrower and it'll practically be the same thing!
And give Marion a photon blade, and--

Oh, wait, there's a ship in the movies... It's not technically canon, though. I don't recognize the existence of Crystal Skull.

Argh, I forgot... It is technically canon. -takes back photon blade-

Yeah, but me and dragon had a talk with her last night, and we're going to work it out. I won't say too much about it, but it'll be alright.
